TANGI MILLER ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Elena Tyler on "Felicity" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Recently named one of "TV Guide"'s sexiest women on television, Tangi Miller costars as the straightforward Elena Tyler on Imagine Television and Touchstone Television's hit series "Felicity," her television debut in a series regular role. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Miller began acting in high school productions, but she chose to major in the more practical field of marketing while attending Alabama State University. Realizing that she spent all of her free time acting in theater productions, she decided to seriously pursue acting after graduation. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Intense in her desire to study the craft of acting, Miller earned a master of fine arts degree at the University of California, Irvine, and has also studied at the Royal National Theatre in London as well as the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Since then, she has launched a professional acting career with lead roles in the independent feature film "The Other Brother," in which she stars opposite Mekhi Phifer, and "Rhinos." As a member of a Los Angeles-based professional dance troupe, Miller has performed in West Africa, Cameroon, and Ghana.
