Oh my...has it really been nearly 3 months since I updated? A quarter of a year has slipped by? I'm horribly sorry! I've become suddenly very busy lately, and something had to go. Well, I'm back, and I've got a pretty darn good update. Super Smash Brothers Melee has been released for Gamecube, and helpful hints and information can be found on the menu on the left, "Link In...Super Smash Brothers!." Also, there's a weird rumor circulating on a possible second Zelda game for Gamecube, check out info on that under "Upcoming Zelda Games" on the left. I've also been diligently updating my About Me site (also on the left) with new info and pics...it even has its own URL now and can be reached independantly at http://go.to/aboutcraig. Also, I've been running around from page to page cleaning up spelling errors and dated info. We must bid farewell to the Zelda Cartoons section and the Great Fairy's Fountain section. The former had to go because the cartoons sucked, and I also had misplaced the files for them anyhow. The Fountain went because ROMs and emulators are illegal, any way you look at it. If you want the game, go to eBay, cheapo. I will also be trying to get up a "If You Liked Zelda...Then Try This!" review on Golden Sun for GBA. That should be up in the next couple of days, and I'm not going to post an update marker just for that, so keep an eye out. Finally, I hope everyone had a happy holiday, whatever you may celebrate, and I hope you all have a happy New Year. I'm outta here, yo, peace, see ya later.

Yesterday was my 18th Birthday, everyone. I am now legally an adult. No gifts necessary, thanks, but I would appreciate it if you all would be so kind as to drop me a line to tell me how the site is. Seriously, I've been slackin off working here lately because NO ONE E-MAILS ME. How can I make the site better or know how good I'm doing if you don't say anything?? Please, be a pal and send an e-mail to purlin@turok.com. Also, big news for me. This coming February, I will be attending E3 in LA! Cool, huh? That's all the news for today (nothing Zelda related, hee hee)...later!

Take a look at the new Link, ladies and gentlemen. Nintendo's Spaceworld game show's press conference was held a few weeks ago, and Miyamoto unvieled the upcoming Mario and Zelda games for Gamecube. In a move that astounished the whole room, Miyamoto opted for a cel-shaded cartoon appeal for Zelda Cube (no title yet), much like Jet Grind Radio for Dreamcast. Not only does the game look like a cartoon, actions take place that make it feel much like a cartoon. We're not talking the same old series anymore. No longer does it seem to be the epic it once was, it's now child's play. For the skinny on the sparse details so far, check out Upcoming Zelda Games from the menu on the left. Lemme just say here that I'm dissapointed in Nintendo's choice. In other news, Gamecube's release has slid (yet again) from November 5, to November 18, giving Microsoft's X-Box a start over Nintendo on November 8. Can't wait that long? Check out my Dreamcast feature, Waiting For Cube to see what amazing games you can play now for awesome prices while waiting for November 18. I've also updated the About Me section (last option from the menu on the left) with new info, and a few pics to break up the monotonous text. I also ask of everyone (males) to take a look at the About Me page. At the beginning is a pic of my very good friend, who also doubts that she is absolutely beautiful. Take a look at the pic, and follow the instructions below it to convince her otherwise! C'mon, pretty please?? Oh yeah, and that thing about me not updating in over 2 months...uh, sorry. Ignore those ugly rumors about me being dead, hee hee. This is the Purlin...signing off.
