Buffy the Vampire Slayer is the griping, sometimes dramatic, mostly funny, always entertaining tv series created by the genius Joss Whedon. Buffy, which is currently filming for its fifth season, stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and co-stars Alyson Hannigan, Nicolas Brendon, James Marsters and Anthony Stewart Head. (Rumors say Emma Caulfield and Amber Benson will become regulars next season.) The series is all about Buffy(SMG), the one girl chosen in all the world to slay vampires. Giles(ASH), the Watcher assigned to guide and train Buffy. Willow(AH) and Xander(NB), Buffy's two best friends, a wicca and zeppo respectively and Spike(JM), a vampire forced to fight for the side of good.
Angel, the fledgling spin-off has proved that whatever Joss touches is golden. In it’s first season, Angel the Series rivaled and sometimes beaten BTVS in the ratings. Angel stars David Boreanaz and co-stars Charisma Carpenter and Alexis Denisoff. Angel(DB) is a vampire cursed with a soul who fights not only demons, but corporate evil as well. He is looking for forgiveness from the Powers that Be. Cordelia(CC) is a starving actress who also serves as Angel's secretary and link to the PTB's; she receives visions that lead Angel to people in need. Wesley(AD), Buffy's ex-watcher provides help in the office and on the battle field.
The X-Files, rumored to be entering its eigth season this fall is the award winning drama featuring Gillian Anderson and David Duchovony. It follows to F.B.I agents searching for E.B.E.s and investingating cases that have been classified 'X', or unexplained.
