THE FORTHCOMING ALBUM
Taproot's debut cd, entitled "gift," will be released June 27th on Velvet Hammer Music (Atlantic Records).
Taproot, with the help of producer Ulrich Wild, have finished recording 14 songs (12 of which will make it
on to the finished cd). The album has now been mixed, and taproot has returned to Ann Arbor. Once a few final touches are made, and the cover is designed, "gift" will be complete. Here is the current list of tracks:

comeback, emotional times, i, justice,
mentobe, impact, now, 1 nite stand, smile,
mirrors reflection, and thriftwhore.
Older fans will recognize several of these songs, although most of them have been reworked.
Some of the older material has been rearranged, some songs have new lyrics, etc.
Everyone in the band is very excited about the cd, and feel very good about their hard work.
I recently had the privilage of hearing the new album (thanx mike!) and I absolutely love it. This is the bestTaproot music ever. It is everything I expected and more. I can't wait for the whole world to hear it...
