[fansofonceandagain note: In Monday, September 4th's New York Daily News, TV columnist David Bianculli reviewed the major Emmy catetory nominees and suggested who should and will win each.]

Re: ACTRESS, DRAMA --

Julianna Margulies is nominated as Best Actress for her last year of playing Nurse Hathaway on "ER" - the same role for which she won a Supporting Actress Emmy in '95, which may factor against her. Edie Falco of "The Sopranos" won last year for her wonderful work as Carmela Soprano, giving her an edge over fellow "Sopranos" nominee Lorraine Bracco (as Dr. Melfi). Amy Brenneman of "Judging Amy" and Sela Ward of "Once and Again" made the cut from freshman shows, making for a tough battle. Should win: Ward. Will win: Falco
