Once and Again Star Saw the World and Then Some...

BYLINE: Tyler McLeod -- Don't ask how Billy Campbell spent his summer vacation unless you have an atlas handy.

"I did a mini-series in Morocco called In the Beginning, then Paris-London-Helsinki-Stockholm was a publicity tour for Once & Again and then Montreal was just visiting," he tells the Sun.

"I saw something hilarious, which was an image of myself speaking Finnish."

Campbell is back in L.A. shooting the ABC drama Once and Again with Emmy-winner Sela Ward.

The Oct. 24 return will not only delight its fans here, but overseas, too.

Campbell says the show does have a bit of a European sensibility.

"Sure. The pacing, the depth of story, the degree of character. It's quite popular. They love it."

Fans also love Campbell. As if the tall-and-good-looking rap wasn't bad enough, Once and Again writers are always portraying his character, Rick Sammler, as a caring father, swell date, successful architect and all-around good guy.

What a reputation.
