Daniel Davis in The Nanny Special
In an unscheduled program that appeared in Germany, first in 1999 and again in early 2001, this show
which lasted approximately 25 minutes, (including commercials), was simply referred to as The Nanny Special. It was made up of interviews
with Fran Drescher, Charles Shaughnessy, Daniel Davis and Lauren Lane.
The Interview
Daniel Davis: I’m never bored when I knock Miss Babcock to pieces again, because it doesn’t
seem to bore the audience either. They seem to wait for it instead and this is
why they probably switch on their TV’s, at least when it concerns our part of
the series. The viewers want to know what he does to poor Miss Babcock this
time.
