David Mariette, 50, of Charlotte, died Monday, August 21, 2000 at
Mercy Hospital. Graveside services were conducted 10 a.m.
Wednesday, August 23, 2000 at Sharon Memorial Park. The family received friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 8 p.m. at McEwen Funeral
Service Charlotte Chapel.
Born November 30, 1949 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Mr. Mariette
was a son of Vivian Mariette of Charlotte and the late Sidney Lyon
Mariette. He was self employed, writing, directing and producing
videos and commercials. |

| A Charlotte Film and Video Association member since its beginning, Mykle lived in the Charlotte area most of his life. A filmmaker since 1966, he offered a wide range of services on a freelance basis, including writing, producing and directing. Mykle gave his time and talent to many worthy causes and charities.
