Welcome to They Must Be Giants, a site dedicated to the insane, artistic, and ultra-avant guard rock band, They Might Be Giants.  They have been called nerd rock, polka punk, acid folk, dedpan humor rock, horrible, and genius.   There is no other group out there like them.  TMBG sounds like nobody, yet they sound like everything.  Confused, well then I guess you have to hear all their music to truly understand.  After that you'll either hate them, or love them.   Their music is like a demented form of pop, so only a certain type of people will get it and enjoy it.  They Might Be Giants are always ahead of the music scene.   They always have a fresh inovative sound that combines styles of music throughout history.  From Gregoian chants to barroom polka to jazz to ska to classical to psychadelic to punk to dance to 60's rock to disco to R&B to pop rock; TMBG's sound changes from album to album and from song to song.  Their lyrics are full of hidden messages, intelligence, and off the wall ideas.   They are one of most downloaded groups off the internet legally and "illegally".   Always techno buffs they had their ground-breaking invention of Dial-A-Song in 1985, the first entirely MP3 album Long Tall Weekend in 2000, and the interactive CD-ROM / music album No due out in late 2001.  They Might Be Giant's sound and content is a little too weird for mainstream music, however it will stand the test of time.

9/25/01- I have made a few changes to the "Unrealeased Material" portion of the "Music" section. A highly educated fan informed me in an e-mail that the songs "I Be An Retarded", "The Beer Song", "The Banana Slug Song", "88 Lines About 44 Women", "Puttin On The Ritz", and "Flight of the Barking Death Squirrels" are not TMBG songs. I apologize for posting incorrect information.

8/08/01- This site is now officially open.   Pretty much everything is in working order and finished including the News, History, Bios, Music, Tours, Lyrics, Solos, Images, the Poll, Links, and Reviews sections.   But do not fear, there is much more on the way.

8/07/01- Check out the Music section for reviews, album art, and information about all of TMBG's albums and unreleased songs.  There is even information on the latest and soon to be released TMBG album, Mink Car!

8/05/01- New Affiliate!!!  I have my first affiliate, its my brother's site The Ultimate Shrine to Tenshinhan.  Despite the fact that it has nothing to do with TMBG, it is still a very spectacular site with a plethra of info on your favorite Dragon Ball Z hero, Tenshinhan.  Check it out under Affiliates in the upper right hand corner.

8/04/01 - Step boldly into the Solos section, where I have information, album art, and reviews on the Johns' solo projects.

7/23/01 - Take a look at 18 new pictures of TMBG in the Images section.

6/10/01 - Sorry, this site used to be a shrine to the DBZ character Krillin, however I have changed the theme to They Might Be Giants.
