Biography

General Info:

Josshua Carter Jackson is a native of British Columbia. He landed his first acting job when he was just 9 years old. He did several commercials for British Columbia Tourism, which led to a part in "MacGyver" and the lead role as Charlie in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" His big screen debut was a role in Michael Bortman's 1991 film "Crooked Hearts" which was followed by his roles in "The Mighty Ducks," D2: The Mighty Ducks," and "Mighty Ducks 3." He also played in "Andre," "Digger," and "Magic in the Water." In 1998, he was in Bryan Singer's "Apt Pupil." As far as the small screen goes, he had a lead role in "Ronnie and Julie," the modern day version of Shakespeares "Romeo and Juliet."
