Oh... and of course a few
interesting tidings about my life.

Happy New Year.... belatedly
Happy New Year everyone! I guess it's a bit late in the year to be saying that, but since this is my first entry of 2002 then I guess it's a good time to wish everyone who reads this page regularly (I know you're out there somewhere....) the very happiest of new years. Anyway through with the formalities I guess you're all wondering why this is the first news entry in over a month and whether I'm going to continue to provide such irregular entries. Well to answer the first question I've been bloody busy in the past month and a half - between working, spending and having a relationship (no, you're not hearing things) I haven't really had the time to add to this page. Well that's a lie, I probably have but you know how things are - you just never get around to doing them. Kind of like my bedroom, which has been messy now for months I think. To answer my second question I think that my entries are going to become a bit more regular, especially once I go back to university because often it's nice to have a place to air my views about something which has popped up during my studies or just to relieve a bit of stress.

First things first - I nearly got the fright of my life this morning when I walked into the university computer labs and saw about 70 brand new flat-screen dell computers - all running on Windows 2000 which I am much more familiar with than the old NT 4.0. So I guess that's a good start to the university year. My enrollment has been a struggle, but that's nothing new and it's better than last year when just about every single paper I wanted to take clashed with each other. At the moment (I haven't finalised my enrollment quite yet, but should do so in the next couple of hours) I am doing 4 stage 3 Geography papers, 1 stage 2 and 1 stage 3 history papers and a stage 2 Philosophy paper. I'll be going into more details throughout the year.

Well it's been over a year since I started my news page now, at first I thought it was a good idea because I read Chicky's news page and found it really interesting so I thought that I had better have one myself. Along the way there have been enormously long gaps between entries as well as some pathetically short entries. But I hope that in some way my news page has made your life a bit more interesting and you found out about the trials and tribulations going on in my life.
