Apartment of Dana Scully.

*Scully woke up with a start, her heart pounding. She sat up, gasping for breath and 
looked beside her to see if she had woken her lover. Unsurprisingly, Fox Mulder sat up 
and immediately enveloped her in his strong arms.

“ It’s okay, Dee. Just a nightmare, I’m here,” he murmured soothingly, lying back 
down and taking her with him. He spooned himself around her and nuzzled her neck.           
“ I won’t let anything hurt you.”
