Chapter 4
She saw him in a cloud of smoke. "Sami, you have to help me, you have to find me." Sami reached out and tried to grab Austin's hand but he could not reach. Finally he got a hold of it but let go and fell and he was gone. "NO" Sami said waking from her dream to see the daylight. Eric sat holding her telling her that it will be ok.
Marlena and John continued to watch the news. "As reported before Flight 789 has gone down. The two passengers Austin Reed and Alison Lawall along with two other crewmen are pressumed dead." Just as the reporter made that statement Sami walked into the room. "No, he isn't gone." "Mom, John, Eric, we have to find him."
Marlena felt the heartache that her daughter was going through,it brought up all the memories of when she thought she lost John so many years ago, but she needed to tell her the truth. "Sami, girl they are looking but the plane crash was so devastating that I don't think anyone could have survived.""What are you telling me that you think Austin is gone?" Sami said. "Oh baby, you just have to consider the possibility" Marlena told Sami. "No, he can't be." Sami said as she laid on the couch crying.
He didn't know where he was but he knew that it was dark. He could feel her next to him, and she had been out for days which began to worry him. "Austin" a weary Alison said. "Where are we??" 'Well, the plane crashed and we are inside a piece of it, I didn't want to leave you to go see exactly where we were, while you were out." "By the way we have been here for 12 days, thank god for the food we brought." "I will be right back" said Austin. "Please, don't leave me." She said grabbing on to him. "I need to tell you something Austin, and ask you a question to." "Go ahead", Austin said as he lit the candle that he always carried with him.
"Austin, I love you, and I always have." "I know that we are not going to be found and we will die, please make love to me." Austin knew that it was wrong but he had the feeling that they would never be found either and the passion was so strong that he gave in and the two made love.
After they were done they feel asleep in each others arms both knowing that this might be the last time that they would ever get to say goodbye. "I LOVE YOU SAMI" Austin said cryingly and feel asleep.
