What the World Learns About the US From Days
This section was an idea from one of Mandy's online friends who is from New Zealand. (Thanks Kat!) Days of Our Lives airs in many countries around the world, and it is funny to think of what people outside of the US may think of Americans by watching Days. Let's just hope for the sake of our country's image, people outside of the US don't think we act like the citizens of Salem!
- Every city in America has their own evil genious
- All the men have eyebrows like John
- Everyone drinks black coffee
- The women here wear a bra to bed under their PJs
- In every American airport, there is a flight getting ready to take off to exactly where you want to go right when you arrive
- When American women wake up in the morning, their hair and makeup are perfect (Don't I wish!)
- Children in the US don't talk until they are five
- Also, all children in the US have big ears
- Cell phone batteries never run out, and the phones are never out of range
- Most American teenagers developed through Rapid Aging Syndrome
- All of our credit cards have no limit
- Corporate women in the US like to wear leopard-print business suits to work
