2001 GH Weekend

I have created a main GH Luncheon edit with clips from actors signing autographs around the pool, and the soap boutique.

I was invited into the press room to interview the actors on behalf of the GH Fan Club so this is the only footage of the press room.

I am not a professional but a fan and this is a fan video diary of the weekend. I have a top of the line Sony digital camera, did all the taping on SP, and transfered each of the events onto SP. I used a tripod during the main Q&A to help provide a steadier picture. I was also set up at the front of the ballroom, no one was closer to the actors. You can request these events on SP for the best quality or combine any 3 of the tapes below on SLP (up to 8 hrs).

GH Luncheon 2001 #1 - 2 hrs 17 mins - SP

Begins with arrival at the Sportsman's Lodge on Thursday, July 26, and short interview with Patricia Healy poolside. Next is the soap boutiques on Friday at the hotel. Real Andrews and Brad Maule signing autographs and taking pictures around the pool Friday afternoon.

Sunday, July 28th - The boutique area before the luncheon begins is shown with many of the individual fan club tables: Amber's table (includes picture of Amber dressed as a "barbarian" when she was a little girl), Becky's table with interview of Ginny Mahl (her aunt and fan club president), Kevin & Kayla who do her official web site, Kurth & Taylor table (interview with fan Kathy - also on the board of the Kurth & Taylor foundation), Steven Nichol's table, Real Andrews table (brief clip of his fan club president Linda Torrence), Vanita's CD shown, Silent auction and raffle item tables, The Vanessa Connection table, John York's table (Lisa Bezinover shown, she runs JJY Online), Brad Maule's table, Coltin Scott's table (Mercy fan club president shown), Jim Warren's table, fans lining up to go into the ballroom. (18 mins to this point).

Press Room Coverage - Interviews with Loren Freeman, Leslie Charleson, Real Andrews, Angel Boris, Landon Wine, Jacob Young, Amber & Chad were asked about when Zander fell in love with Emily (they debated this for a moment), shots of Chad interviewing on behalf of soapcenter, interview with soapcenter interviewer,
John Ingle getting everyone's attention and getting them all to line up to get ready to go into the ballroom, all the actor's entrances into the ballroom, the Q&A. Constance & Landon present Debbie Morris and Debby O'Connor with a "Heart Award" as a thank you for all their efforts for the GH and PC Fan Clubs (55 minutes to this point).

At this time the actors go to their tables and fans line up for their autographs and pictures. I went around interviewing the actors, videotaping the actors meeting with the fans, and added some fan interviews. Note: I interviewed Tamara, Lisa V., Marisa, Tava, and Erin Hershey at the Ladies of PC event. At the Q event, I interviewed Stuart Damon, Amber Tamblyn, and John Ingle.

Q Brunch & Nancy Lee's event #2- 2 hrs 41 mins - SP

Quartermaine Brunch - 1 hr attended by: Jeffry Byron, Susan Brown, Stuart Damon, Leslie Charleson, Anna Lee, John Ingle, Stephen Kaye, Wally Kurth, Billy Warlock, Amber Tamblyn. Highlights - Leslie presents Amber with a massive going away cake that is shared by all the guests as desert, very sweet moment. Wally jokes about Ned's affair with Monica, and tells about a new character added to his storyline. There are a lot of funny moments during the raffle as Leslie is giving away items. At one point, Krista (her fan club president) comments that there are a lot of notes on this one particular script. This sets off a slew of comments from John and Stuart as they demand to see this script, with disbelief that there are any such notes. Then with each additional script that came up this joking about her notes or lack there of were continued. Leslie also joked about Shaundra Levy and I got the feeling that this was a joke around the set (having to do with missing characters). At this point she lost it and started cracking up. I did hear Stuart say he had no complaints as he is working a lot.

Nancy Lee's Event - SP - 1 hr 40 mins
Constance Towers & Nancy Lee do a Q&A for about an hour. One of my favorite moments is Constance talking about doing The Horse Soldiers with William Holden and John Wayne. She also joked about having a love life now that Jax has returned. Later Wally enters and does a Q&A for about another 40 minutes.

Ladies of PC & Maurice's Event #3- SP 2 hrs 10 mins

Ladies of PC - 1 hr, Tava Smiley, Lisa Vultaggio, Tamara Braun, Erin Hershey, Marie Wilson (and baby), smf Vanita Harbour. Interviews with Tava, Lisa, Tamara. Erin talks about her appearence on GH, during rave, kissing Juan

PC Event #4- SP - 1 hr 38 mins

I haven't completed this yet but it will be between 1 hr and 1 1/2 hours on its own. About a half hour of press room coverage and interviews with Brian Presley, Julie Pinson, Ion, Peter Hanson, Jay Pickett, Erin Hershey, (Victor). Erin Hershey, Marie Wilson, Jay Picket MC event. Each actor is asked one question during the Q&A: Kin Shriner, Anne Jeffries, Susan Brown, Peter Hanson, Jon Lindstrom, Carly Schroeder, Lynn Herring, Denise, Julie Pinson, Thorsten Kaye, Ion Oberman, Brian Presley, (Victor), (Mary Scanlon)

Wally's Concert #5- Kurth & Taylor

Right now I only have the first hour of his concert available. While changing tapes the second one jammed and I wasn't able to continue taping it so I missed the last couple of songs and the Q&A. I am in touch with a couple of people and trying to make arrangements to get what I missed. I will let you know when this becomes available.
