Robin & Patrick #21 November 26, 2013 - May 13, 2014: 9 hour original edit on 3 dvds

DVD #21A11/26 Elizabeth arrived at Patrick's house to take him to the church. Patrick complimented her outfit and admitted that she looked better without the sunglasses. Elizabeth sensed that something was troubling Patrick when she noticed him fidgeting with his bow tie, so she asked him what was wrong. "Robin," he admitted.

Patrick told Elizabeth about Ava's visit and Carlos' claim that Robin was alive. Elizabeth insisted that it was Carlos' sick way of torturing Patrick to get Patrick to postpone the wedding. Patrick conceded that he had thought the same thing, but Ava's parting words had struck a chord, so he was tempted to follow up on Carlos' story. Elizabeth warned Patrick not to undermine his future by chasing after a ghost an hour before his wedding.

Later, Elizabeth was startled when she opened Patrick's door and saw Epiphany. Epiphany was equally surprised to see Elizabeth "vertical" after the previous evening's events. "Girlfriend, you can definitely throw a bachelor party," Epiphany added with a chuckle. Epiphany burst out laughing when Elizabeth admitted that she hadn't realized that Epiphany had been at the party.

Elizabeth groaned with embarrassment when Epiphany pulled out her cell phone to show Elizabeth the pictures that Epiphany had snapped. Elizabeth was horrified when she saw a picture of herself drinking out of a shoe, so she begged Epiphany to delete the humiliating snapshots. Epiphany agreed to zap the photos after the wedding and promised not to hold Elizabeth's antics against Elizabeth at work. "Much," Epiphany added with a big grin.

Epiphany switched gears to ask where Patrick was, so Elizabeth filled Epiphany in about Carlo's claim. Epiphany reminded Elizabeth that Robin's remains had been found, so Elizabeth suggested that Patrick simply needed some peace of mind. Epiphany hoped that someone in the lab would give it to Patrick. Moments later, Epiphany and Elizabeth decided to head to the church. The phone began to ring as they left, but Epiphany insisted that Elizabeth let the answering machine pick it up.

In the hospital lab, Britt and Brad looked up when Patrick suddenly appeared in the doorway. Patrick snidely asked if Brad had finally taken an interest in Britt's son, so Britt quickly changed the subject by asking why Patrick was there. Patrick pulled out his cell phone to show Brad a picture of Robin as he asked if Brad had seen Robin in the lab. Britt tensed until Brad carefully explained that he had been hired after Robin's death. Britt was curious why Patrick had asked about Robin, so Patrick revealed that someone had spotted Robin in the lab. Britt suggested that Patrick was there because he was having second thoughts about marrying Sabrina.

Patrick refused to discuss his wedding with Britt, but Britt urged Patrick to reconsider marrying Sabrina if he was still stuck on Robin. Patrick assured Britt that he didn't have any doubts about marrying Sabrina, so he decided to head to the church because his fiancée was waiting for him and his wife was gone. "Except, I'm not so sure she is," Brad quietly said after Patrick left.

At the apartment, Sabrina was getting ready when Emma ran into the living room and announced that there might not be a wedding. Emma explained that she had overheard Felix using a lot of bad words while he worked to alter Sabrina's wedding gown, so Emma feared that the alterations hadn't gone well. Sabrina explained that Felix's sewing machine had a tendency to eat thread, so Felix was just expressing his frustration.

Emma feared that Felix would not get the dress done in time, so Sabrina assured Emma that nothing would stop Sabrina from marrying Patrick. Sabrina promised Emma that she, Emma, and Patrick would be a family by the end of the day. Moments later, Felix emerged from the bedroom to announce that he had successfully completed the alterations on the wedding dress. Pleased, Emma insisted that they gather the "four somethings" to ensure that Sabrina's day was filled with good luck.

Felix pointed out that Sabrina's mother's wedding dress was something old and something new, so Emma decided to lend Sabrina the ribbon in Emma's hair. Finally, Felix, Emma, and Sabrina tried to find something blue for Sabrina to wear. Sabrina revealed that she had a turquoise necklace that Carlos had given her, but Felix nixed the idea of Sabrina wearing turquoise from an ex-boyfriend on her wedding day. Sabrina suggested that she go without a blue item, but Emma was adamant that they not risk something bad happening to Sabrina.

At Wyndemere, Anna asked Robert if he had found Robin. "See for yourself," Robert answered as he looked toward the doorway. Anna turned and saw her daughter standing on the threshold of the parlor. Tears filled both Anna and Robin's eyes as mother and daughter stared at each other. Anna and Robin ran into each other's arms as Anna recalled another heartwarming reunion with her daughter when Robin had been much younger.

Robert watched as Anna and Robin shared an emotional reunion. Robin told her mother how frightening her ordeal had been, so Anna vowed never to lose Robin again. Anna hugged her daughter as Robin tearfully mouthed "I love you" to Robert. Robert joined Anna and Robin for a family hug. Anna confessed that Robin was the greatest gift that Anna had ever been given and then thanked Robert for persuading Anna to search for their daughter. Anna confessed to Robin that Robert had been a true hero, but Robert insisted that he couldn't have found Robin without Anna's help. Moments later, Duke emerged from the secret passage. His face lit with joy when he saw Robin. Robin ran to Duke's waiting arms and hugged him.

Later, Anna assured Robin that Robin could finally return home to Emma and Patrick. However, Anna warned Robin that it would be a shock because Anna had been reluctant to raise Patrick's hopes by telling him that Robin might be alive. Robin showed her mother the invitation and explained that Patrick and Sabrina intended to marry later that day. Anna insisted that Robin had to get to Patrick before the wedding, but Robin refused to go anywhere until she knew where Nikolas was. Anna explained that Faison had knocked Nikolas out, so they weren't sure where Faison had taken him.

Later, Robert and Duke returned to the parlor to report that they hadn't found any sign of Nikolas. Robert decided to question Faison, so Duke offered to accompany him. Duke took one step and then began to sway. Anna rushed to Duke's side and helped him to the sofa. Anna suggested that Duke stay with Robin while Anna went with Robert to question Faison.

After Robert and Anna left, Duke noticed the invitation, so he asked what it was. Robin told him about Patrick's wedding, so Duke pointed out that she was finally free. He insisted that Robin call Patrick and then handed her a cell phone. Robin called Patrick at home, but the answering machine picked up, so she explained to Patrick that she was alive and on her way home. Moments later, Anna and Robert returned to announce that Faison and Luke had also disappeared.

At the apartment, Sabrina suggested that Emma go to Sabrina's bedroom to pick out a new ribbon to replace the one that Sabrina had borrowed. After Emma scampered off, Felix asked what was troubling Sabrina. Sabrina reminded Felix that she had dropped off Ellie's wedding invitation in the lab and that Carlos claimed to have seen Robin in the lab, so Sabrina suspected that Robin had taken the wedding invitation. Felix assured Sabrina that it wasn't possible.

11/27 At the chapel where Sabrina and Patrick were preparing to wed, Elizabeth found Patrick along with Epiphany, who told Patrick that he looked very good in a tux. Epiphany also complimented Patrick because he had not let Carlos' claim that Robin was alive stall his wedding to Sabrina. Patrick gave his sincere thanks to Epiphany for helping him through some very tough times after Robin's death. Epiphany told Patrick that she was happy for him because he had found love again with Sabina.

Felix arrived at the chapel dressing room with Sabrina's gown. Emma worried that they would have bad luck if Ellie did not get there with something blue. Lucy arrived, and when Felix tried to give her the script, Lucy broke into tears and said that she could not perform the ceremony because her marriage was over. She explained that Lucy and Kevin had had yet another fight caused when Kevin had attended to a patient instead of attending an event with her. Felix told Lucy that she had survived worse and gave her a pep talk. Lucy brightened up and took the script. When Emma mentioned something blue again, Lucy gave Emma the soggy blue handkerchief that she had been using to blow her nose and dry her tears. Emma, Felix, and Sabrina handled it gingerly. Lucy left, and Patrick appeared at the door and said that he needed some time alone with Sabrina.

Felix took Emma away. Patrick told Sabrina that he had heard the rumor that Robin was alive. Sabrina thought that he would be mad because she had not told him about Carlos, but Patrick said he understood. Patrick explained that he had gone to the lab for answers and had realized that he knew the truth. Patrick said that when he left the lab, he had closed the door on his old life and could not wait to start a new one with Sabrina. Patrick told Sabrina to get dressed because he loved her and wanted to be her husband.

Britt burst into Wyndemere and announced that she had the cure. She was surprised to see Anna with Robert and Robin. Robert what sarcastic when he learned that Britt's parents were Faison and Dr. Obrecht. Britt said dryly that it was not great for her either. She asked if Faison had been caught and her mother found. Anna said that Duke was taking Britt's mother to the slammer, and Faison had Nikolas.

Robin wanted to help search, but Robert and Anna ordered Robin and Britt to stay put while they dealt with Faison. Britt told Robin that she had just seen Patrick in the lab, and she knew that Patrick had doubts about marrying Sabrina. Robin told Britt that Patrick loved Sabrina. Britt said that would change if Patrick knew that Robin was still alive.

Luke had a gun on Faison and forced him to take Luke to the tack room where Faison was holding Nikolas. One of Faison's men was beating Nikolas when Luke stopped him. Faison thug got the drop on Luke, who was forced to surrender his weapon. Luke tried to negotiate, but Faison said that once he had Anna, he would need only one hostage, and Faison felt that Nikolas had more wealth to offer than Luke. Faison flipped a coin and told Luke that he was about to die.

Robert and Anna overheard Faison and made a plan. Robert sneaked in through another door and hid in a stall while Anna distracted Faison. Anna held out her gun and offered to go away with Faison if he would let the hostages go. Faison said that he could not do that. Anna turned the gun on herself and said that she had nothing to live for because Dr. Obrecht had escaped and killed Robert, Duke, and Robin. Faison lunged for the gun as Anna pulled the trigger. Anna stepped aside and stunned Faison when she hit him in the head with the gun. Robert emerged from hiding and shot both of Faison's men. Anna and Robert subdued Faison and freed Nikolas and Luke, who went to the main house to tell Robin and Britt that they were safe.

Robin searched out her parents, who had secured Faison. Robin gloated when Faison ruefully admitted that Robin had been right about Anna rescuing her. Anna told Robert to get Robin to the mainland so that she could let Patrick know that she was alive while Anna took care of Faison. Faison remained delusional that Anna really loved him, no matter how much she denied it. When Faison said that no matter where she put him, he would be back, Anna told Faison that he was a blight on her life. When Robert returned, he told Anna that Robin was on her way to the church, and he was ready to hand Faison over to the WSB. Anna said no. She told Robert that the only place for Faison was hell and that "this time," Faison had to die.

After a brief debate about who would give the bride away, Patrick and Elizabeth made their way down the aisle where Lucy was waiting to officiate. Emma scattered petals, and Patrick greeted her with a smile and a kiss when she reached the front of the chapel. The bridal march started, and Felix walked a glowing Sabrina down the aisle. Emma said that Sabrina looked pretty, and Brad smiled at Felix.

Robin arrived at the chapel as Sabrina reached Patrick. As the ceremony started, Robin looked through the door but did not enter the sanctuary or reveal her presence.

12/2 Robin arrived at the chapel in time to stop Patrick's wedding to Sabrina but did not, even when Lucy asked if anyone had a reason to do so. Instead, Robin stood just outside the door and watched as the ceremony proceeded. Robin listen tearfully as Mac read a moving passage from the Bible about love.

Sabrina handed Felix her bouquet and Elizabeth, looking lovely in gold, stood next to Patrick. Sabrina told Patrick how he had given her a family, something that she had never really had and had always wanted after her mother died. Sabrina told Patrick that he was her fairy tale made real. Patrick told Sabrina that she had healed him and had saved him and Emma from the darkness after the devastating loss of a loved one. Epiphany sang a moving song with the refrain, "You're not alone."

Tears rolled down Robin's cheeks as she watched Emma, Sabrina and Patrick all light one candle together as a symbol of their new family. After Sabrina and Patrick said their "I do's," Robin turned to leave the chapel. Emma noticed her, called out, "Mommy," and ran to her. Robin picked Emma up and faced the crowd, notably Patrick and Sabrina, who were stunned.

At Wyndemere, Robert and Anna held Faison captive in the tack room. Robert wanted to put Faison in prison, but Anna said it was time to end Faison once and for all. Faison taunted them that he would escape and be back in their lives again. Robert gagged Faison. Anna said that Faison would escape and make their lives miserable again because no prison could ever hold Faison. Robert played devil's advocate and asked Anna if she could really live with herself if she played judge, jury, and executioner. Anna asked Robert if he could live with himself if he did not.

Anna pointed out all the horrible things that Faison had done to their family, including the kidnapping of Robin, as well as the potential future harm to Emma, whom Faison would target next. Anna's logic persuaded Robert, but he was reluctant to kill in cold blood. Anna told Robert to go, that she would handle it. Anna said that she would not regret her actions because she would be ensuring the safety of both Robin and Emma for the rest of their lives.

Robert left the tack room but returned and stood beside Anna. As they raised their guns and pointed them at Faison, Robert told her that they were in it together. After the deed was done, Robert told Anna that she had been right, after all. He had no regrets, knowing that their family was safe. Robert said that they had done the right thing. Anna and Robert hugged.

Jerry is holding Bobbie at knife point at the Metro Court. Jerry demanded the cure from Luke. Carly also demanded that Luke give Jerry whatever he wanted. Luke said that there was no guarantee that Jerry would act in good faith. Carly did not care. As a helicopter circled, jerry held a knife to Bobbie's throat and threatened to kill her if Luke did not hand over the cure. Luke said he had a different plan. He held the vial over the rail and threatened to drop it unless Jerry released Bobbie.

12/3 At Metro Court Restaurant, Luke threatened to drop the vial of life-saving serum unless Jerry released Bobbie. Jerry saw the helicopter approach to rescue him, so he agreed to Luke's terms. Bobbie immediately ran to her daughter as Luke ordered Jerry to drop the knife that Jerry had been wielding. Jerry reluctantly complied and then demanded that Luke hand over the serum. Luke refused because he intended for the cure to go to Sean Donely.

Furious, Jerry advanced on Luke, and a brief struggle ensued. Carly and Bobbie looked on in horror as Luke and Jerry suddenly tumbled over the side of the balcony and disappeared. Bobbie was too terrified to look, so Carly ran to the edge of the balcony to check on her uncle. Bobbie was relieved when Carly quickly assured her mother that Luke had managed to grab onto a protruding ledge, so Bobbie raced over to help her daughter pull Luke to safety.

At the police station, Duke was waiting for Anna when she entered her office. Anna immediately apologized for not calling him sooner, but Duke assured her that it was okay because he knew that she had been busy. Anna seemed uneasy as she told him that Liesl Obrecht had been booked and processed. Duke asked if Robin had gone to the church, so Anna nodded and explained that she hoped that Robin had made it in time to stop the wedding.

Duke admitted that he was still amazed that Robin was alive, but he insisted that what Jerry Jacks, Liesl Obrecht, and Cesar Faison had put Robin through had been unacceptable. Anna's eyes filled with tears of anger as she agreed that Robin had suffered unimaginably at the criminal trio's hands. Duke quickly reminded Anna that Robin's ordeal was over, so Robin deserved nothing but happiness from that moment on.

"With her husband and child," Anna replied in agreement. Duke's eyes narrowed with concern as he asked if Anna was okay. Anna explained that she had been in Robin's shoes before, so she knew what it was like to return home only to discover that everything had changed. Duke pointed out that he also knew what that was like, but he assured Anna that they would work together to help Robin settle back into her life.

Duke was curious why Anna hadn't gone to the church with Robin, so Anna avoided eye contact with Duke as she cryptically explained that she had remained on Spoon Island with Robert to deal with Faison. Duke feared that Faison had hurt Anna because he sensed that something was amiss. Anna quickly assured Duke that she was fine, prompting Duke to wonder where Faison was. Anna carefully revealed that she had left Faison with Robert. Duke assumed that Robert had returned Faison to Steinmauer prison, so Anna didn't correct him. Duke remained concerned about Anna because he continued to pick up on her tension. Anna assured him that she was okay, but she made it clear that she didn't want to talk about Faison anymore. Duke respected her wishes because he knew that Faison had put Anna through "hell."

Duke was eager to celebrate Robin's homecoming, so he decided to take a few extra days off from work. Anna suddenly recalled what Robert had told her about Derek Wells, so she broke the news to Duke that Derek was really Julian Jerome. Duke's shock turned to fury when Anna revealed that the World Security Bureau had aided Julian and had put the mobster into the witness protection program. Duke was certain that Julian had hired Duke as a joke and that Julian had been laughing behind Duke's back the entire time. Enraged, Duke started to storm out of Anna's office, but Anna demanded to know what Duke planned to do. "I'm going to kill him," Duke answered between clenched teeth. Anna implored Duke to reconsider, but Duke reminded Anna of everything that Julian had taken from them, including their child. Anna tearfully argued that she couldn't lose Duke again, so she begged him to let the police handle Julian.

Anna wanted Duke to focus on Robin and the second chance that they had been given. Anna beseeched Duke not to go after Julian, so Duke reluctantly agreed. Relieved, Anna thanked Duke and then announced that she had to get to the church to check on Robin. Anna reminded Duke that it was a happy day for their family, so she asked Duke not to allow Julian to take that away from them. "I love you," Anna added. "I love you too," Duke replied.

At the church, Lucy was about to pronounce Patrick and Sabrina husband and wife when Emma spotted her mother standing in the doorway of the church. "Mommy?" Emma asked. Emma took off running into her mother's arms when Robin turned to look at her daughter. All heads turned to Robin as Robin swept her daughter up into her arms. "Mommy's here," Robin tearfully whispered to Emma as she held her daughter and Emma tightly wrapped her arms around her mother.

Robin looked at Patrick as he continued to stare at her with disbelief. Next to him, Sabrina swayed on her feet, so Felix reached out keep her from collapsing. Behind Patrick and Sabrina, Lucy whispered to Elizabeth that it was a true miracle that Robin was alive. Nearby, Mac started for his niece, but Felicia stopped him with a reminder that Emma needed time with Robin.

Meanwhile, Robin tearfully assured her daughter that she had thought about Emma every single day and that she had never stopped loving Emma. Emma promised Robin that she had never stopped loving Robin either.

At the altar, Patrick's eyes filled with tears as he whispered Robin's name. "Patrick," Robin quietly replied as her voice cracked with emotion. Patrick approached Robin and asked if she was real. Robin placed her hand over his heart as she confirmed that she was indeed alive. Sabrina leaned on Felix as Felix wondered if the woman in the doorway was truly Robin. Lucy joyfully assured Felix that it was.

At the back of the church, Patrick desperately tried to make sense of everything because he had seen Robin perish in the explosion with his own eyes. Robin explained that she had been kidnapped and that a body had been left in her place. She admitted that it was a long story, but she wanted him to know that she had spent every single day trying to get back to him and Emma. She pointed out that she had finally made it, only to discover that he had been about to marry another woman. Patrick glanced at a heartbroken Sabrina, but then turned his attention back to Robin as Robin revealed that she had made several attempts to reach him. Robin told him about her phone call on Emma's birthday. Emma quickly reminded her father that she had told Patrick that her mother had called, so Patrick wondered if Robin had called him several weeks earlier. Robin confirmed that she had, but she hadn't thought that Patrick had heard her.

At the front of the church, Sabrina's eyes brimmed with unshed tears as Robin told Patrick about recently working in the hospital's laboratory. Robin explained that she hadn't been able to let anyone know that she had been alive because it had been too dangerous and lives had been on the line. Overwhelmed with emotion, Patrick leaned down to kiss Robin.

Sabrina crumbled to her knees and wept. Patrick was oblivious to Sabrina's crushed heart as Robin admitted that she had dreamed of reuniting with Patrick and kissing him. Robin confessed that the reality had been better than the fantasy. Patrick admitted that he had dreamed of it too, but he had never thought it would ever happen.

Emma quietly told her father that Sabrina was crying, so Patrick turned to look at Sabrina. Sabrina fled the church in tears as Felix followed, so gently Robin urged Patrick to go after Sabrina. Robin promised Patrick that she wasn't angry at him, but she knew that he truly loved Sabrina. Patrick was afraid to leave Robin's side because he might lose her again, but Robin assured him that he wouldn't. Patrick ordered Robin not to move and then left.

Moments later, Mac approached his niece and then hugged her tightly as he confessed that he couldn't believe that he was holding Robin. Next, Felicia hugged Robin. Anna appeared in the doorway, so Emma ran to her grandmother to share the wonderful news. Anna joined her family as they enjoyed a tearful reunion. Mac suddenly realized that Robert and Anna had left the clinic in Switzerland because they had known that Robin was alive. Anna confirmed his suspicions and then explained that they hadn't told Mac that Robin might be alive for fear of needlessly getting his hopes up.

12/4 In the bride's changing room at the church, Sabrina tearfully explained to Felix that Patrick had only ever had eyes for Robin and that Sabrina had been a distant second. Felix cautioned Sabrina not to jump to conclusions about who Patrick wanted, but Sabrina argued that Patrick hadn't even wanted to see her.

Moments later, Patrick appeared in the doorway, so Felix quickly slipped into the hallway to give Patrick and Sabrina privacy. Sabrina wiped away her tears and plastered on a false smile as she claimed to be happy for Patrick and Emma. Patrick gently explained to Sabrina that they needed to talk, but Sabrina pointed out that there wasn't anything to left to say because Patrick's wife was alive.

Sabrina's eyes filled with tears as she insisted that it was wonderful that Patrick and Emma had Robin back. Patrick agreed, but he couldn't pretend that the two years since Robin's "death" hadn't happened. Sabrina was curious if she and Patrick would have gotten together if Robin hadn't left. Patrick slowly shook his head. "That's what I thought," Sabrina tearfully replied. Patrick resented Sabrina declaring that they were through, but Sabrina argued that it had been evident that she had lost Patrick to Robin when Patrick had kissed his wife in the church.

"It's like I didn't even exist," Sabrina cried. Patrick apologized and assured her that he had never intended to hurt her, but everything seemed surreal to him. Sabrina took off the engagement ring and wedding band and then held them out to Patrick. Patrick knew that she was trying to push him away, so Sabrina begged Patrick to take the rings and let her go, but Patrick refused.

Sabrina pointed out that Patrick didn't have a choice because his wife had returned, and it was clear that he loved Robin. Patrick explained that he still loved Sabrina, too, and that what they had shared had been real. He promised her that everything he had told her at the altar had been true and that she had never been a replacement. Sabrina conceded that he could love her and Robin, but he couldn't have both of them, so he had to choose. "Me or your wife?" Sabrina asked. Patrick admitted that he needed time to figure things out because his life had been turned upside down. He implored her to understand.

Elsewhere in the church, Robin reunited with Elizabeth, Epiphany, and Lucy. Mac gently reminded Robin that Robin could leave if she wanted to, but Robin insisted on staying because she had promised Patrick that she would wait for him. Anna imagined that things were difficult for everyone, so Robin agreed because Robin had thought that reuniting with Patrick and Emma would be the easy part.

Anna appreciated that during Robin's captivity, Robin had held on to a fantasy about what it would be like to reunite with Patrick and Emma, but she cautioned Robin to let the fantasy go and focus on the reality. Robin realized that everything had changed, which was why Robin had told Patrick to go to Sabrina, but she had no idea what would happen after Patrick's talk with Sabrina. Anna and Mac assured Robin that Patrick had never stopped loving his wife, so Patrick and Robin's love would get them through the difficult days ahead. Patrick suddenly emerged from the room. Patrick's eyes were filled with tears of sadness as he quietly told Felix that Sabrina needed her friend.

In the church, Emma asked Mac when her mother would be returning to heaven. Mac and Felix revealed that Robin had never been in heaven, so Emma's mother would be staying. Emma remained confused so Anna explained that someone had played a "mean trick" on them, but she quickly assured Emma that it was all over.

Nearby, Robin offered her condolences to Sam on Jason's passing. Sam thanked Robin and then talked about Danny, whom Robin was eager to meet. Anna overheard Robin mention Faison's name during the conversation with Sam. Robin bragged that her parents, Robert and Anna, had made certain that Faison would never again hurt someone. Sam hoped that Robin was right.

After Sam left, Lucy approached Robin. Robin confessed that she was delighted that Lucy was back in town and then thanked Lucy for all the work that Lucy had done to get the Nurses Ball off of the ground. Lucy was pleased that Robin had seen it and had enjoyed it. Robin realized that Sabrina also deserved credit for resurrecting the Nurses Ball and admitted that Sabrina seemed like a good person.

Later, Robin and Elizabeth talked about Emma and how much Emma had grown. Robin was upset that she had missed important milestones in her daughter's life, but Elizabeth reminded Robin that Emma was still young, so there were many important moments to enjoy in the future. Robin smiled with appreciation when Elizabeth added that they had made certain that Emma had always felt her mother's presence.

Robin confided to Elizabeth how difficult it had been on Halloween when Emma had unwittingly introduced Sabrina to Robin as Emma's new mother. Robin conceded that she had encouraged Patrick to move on and to find someone to love, but she was afraid that he might not return to her. Robin immediately relaxed when Patrick suddenly appeared in the doorway.

Everyone quickly began to file out of the church to give Patrick and Robin some time alone. Anna grabbed Emma's hand, quietly reminded Patrick and Robin that they had plenty of time to figure things out, and then left. Patrick and Robin exchanged watery smiles before Robin walked up and kissed him.

Afterwards, Robin wondered if Patrick thought that their kiss had felt different. Patrick shook his head, but Robin pointed out that everything else had changed. She was curious how Sabrina was, so Patrick admitted that Sabrina wanted to be strong but was deeply hurt. Robin felt terrible for Sabrina, which was why Robin had tried to slip out of the church, so she could find a better time to break the news to Patrick that she was alive.

Patrick assured Robin that he was happy that she had returned, but he desperately wanted to do the right thing. Robin tensed when Patrick agreed that Anna had been right to advise them not to rush to figure everything out right away. He admitted that he simply wanted to take Robin home, so their family could be under one roof again.

Patrick was startled when Robin quietly told him no. Before she could explain, Anna and Emma returned. Anna immediately picked up on the tension between Robin and Patrick, so she suggested that Robin and Emma spend the night with her. Anna admitted that she was desperate to have some time with her girls. Robin smiled and readily agreed.

After Anna and Emma went to the car, Patrick asked if Robin really wanted to spend the night at her mother's. "No," Robin confessed, but she didn't know what else to do. Patrick assured Robin that he loved her very much. Robin smiled sadly as she told him that she loved him too. After Robin left, Patrick sat down and quietly began to cry.

12/5 Robin returned to Anna's hotel suite after sending Emma off to school with Felicia. Anna assured Robin that it was important to stick to Emma's routine, so Emma would know that it wasn't necessary to keep watch over Robin. Robin agreed but admitted that she could have happily spent the day cuddled up in bed with Emma. Anna reminded her daughter that Robin could pick Emma up in five hours. Robin looked forward to it because it would be a good distraction from thinking about Patrick not being with her. Anna realized that Robin and Patrick's reunion hadn't gone as Robin had hoped, so she urged her daughter to let go of the fantasy and concentrate on the reality because Patrick and Emma's lives hadn't stopped when Robin had been kidnapped. Robin told her mother about the message that Robin had recorded encouraging Patrick to find love again, which Patrick had done.

Anna reminded Robin that Robin had been psychologically tortured for two years, so Robin shouldn't blame herself because Patrick had found Sabrina. Robin argued that she couldn't ignore that Patrick had fallen in love with Sabrina, so Anna conceded that there would be heartache, but Anna was confident that Patrick would find his way back to Robin because he loved his wife and the mother of his child. Robin wished that she had as much faith in Patrick's love for Robin as her mother had, but everything had changed. Robin and Anna talked about Jason's sudden death and Edward's passing.

Robin was surprised when Anna revealed that Edward had saved Emma's life by giving Emma the last dose of life-saving serum when Jerry had poisoned the town's water supply. However, Anna reminded Robin that some good things had happened during Robin's absence because Mac and Felicia had found their way back to each other. Anna was certain that Patrick and Robin would do the same. Robin confessed that she was afraid that Patrick would decide that Robin was his past and Sabrina was his future.

Anna pointed out that Patrick wouldn't be the man that Robin loved if he had easily cut Sabrina out of his life, so Robin conceded that Anna had a point. Robin decided to step out for fresh air. Anna offered to go with her, but Robin declined because Robin needed some time alone to think. Anna reluctantly agreed to give Robin space, but she assured her daughter that she loved her. Robin promised that she loved Anna, too, and admitted that Anna was her hero.

Later, Mac stopped by Anna's hotel suite to ask if Anna had seen Maxie. Mac revealed that he hadn't had a chance to tell Maxie that Robin was alive.

Robin saw the plaque dedicated to her. She was startled when she felt someone's hand on her shoulder, not knowing that it had been Georgie. Robin looked around, but didn't see anyone, so she walked away. Moments later, Robin spotted Maxie.

At the nurses' station, a doctor was surprised when he saw Patrick working, so he asked why Patrick wasn't on his honeymoon. The doctor jokingly wondered if Sabrina had left him for a real man. Patrick quietly explained that there had been a change of plans. The doctor started to ask Patrick about it, but Felix ran up to warn the doctor that Epiphany was on the warpath because of the improper use of the computers at the nurses' stations. The doctor thanked Felix for the heads-up and fled.

After the doctor left, Felix approached Patrick to talk about Sabrina, but Patrick made it clear that he wasn't ready. Felix explained that he was concerned about Sabrina because she had disappeared and hadn't returned any of Felix's phone calls. Patrick pointed out that Sabrina wasn't the type to harm herself. Felix agreed, but he feared that something might have happened to Sabrina because her bed hadn't been slept in.

At the hospital, Patrick demanded to know who Felix had been talking to. Patrick suspected that it had been Sabrina, but Felix denied it. However, Felix assured Patrick that Sabrina was safe and had spent the night at a fellow nurse's apartment. Patrick was certain that Felix was lying, but Felix assured Patrick that Sabrina was with Joyce. Moments later, Joyce emerged from the elevator and greeted Patrick. Patrick immediately dragged Felix into the elevator and ordered Felix to talk.

12/6 At the cemetery, Maxie prepared to take a handful of prescription pills when Robin called out to Maxie. Maxie assumed that Robin was a ghost sent by Georgie, so she ordered Robin to stay away. Maxie conceded that Georgie had been right to send Robin because Maxie felt responsible for Robin's death and therefore would be more apt to listen to Robin, but Maxie wasn't interested in being talked out of her plans. Robin tried to clarify that she wasn't a ghost, but Maxie was too caught up in blaming herself for Robin's death to listen.

Frustrated, Robin slapped Maxie to shock Maxie into being quiet. Maxie rubbed her cheek and glared at Robin until it dawned on Maxie that she had felt the slap. Maxie reached out to touch Robin and realized that Robin wasn't a ghost. Robin smiled as she confirmed that she was real and then hugged Maxie. Robin explained that the explosion had been a cover for Jerry to kidnap Robin, so Maxie hadn't been to blame for what had happened in the lab. Robin also added that even if the broken gas valve had caused the explosion it would have been an accident. Maxie admitted that others had told her the same thing, but she had needed to hear it from Robin.

Robin quietly asked what Maxie had intended to do with the pills. Maxie told Robin about the baby and the judge's decision to deny Maxie custody and visitation of the infant. Maxie conceded that she had acted without thinking and had hurt a lot of people, but Robin insisted that Maxie had acted out of love because Maxie had wanted to make everyone happy.

Maxie wondered if Robin truly believed that, so Robin assured Maxie that she did. Maxie appreciated that Robin saw things that way, but Maxie pointed out that Maxie still couldn't see her daughter for six months. Robin realized that it would be difficult, but she assured Maxie that the wait wouldn't be impossible. "How would you know?" Maxie snapped with irritation. Robin reminded Maxie that Robin had spent nearly two years away from Emma. Maxie immediately apologized for the thoughtless remark and suggested that it was another example of Maxie's selfishness. Robin waved away Maxie's apology as she explained that she had simply wanted Maxie to know that Robin understood what Maxie was going through. Robin was confident that Maxie was a lot stronger than Maxie realized.

Maxie smiled and admitted that she couldn't believe that Robin had found her when Maxie had needed Robin the most. Robin explained that she had stopped by the cemetery to look at the memorial but had felt a presence that had eventually guided her to Maxie. Maxie was glad and hugged Robin again. Maxie was curious why Robin wasn't with Patrick and Emma, so Robin told Maxie about what had transpired at the church during Patrick's wedding. Maxie was concerned that Patrick had married Sabrina, but Robin explained that Emma had seen Robin before the wedding ceremony had ended.

Robin confided that she didn't know who Patrick wanted to be with because it was clear that Patrick had genuine feelings for Sabrina. Maxie insisted that Patrick was Robin's husband, so Robin needed to fight for him. Robin agreed, but she wanted a promise from Maxie first. Robin implored Maxie to never touch the pills again because Robin couldn't take the pain of losing Maxie. Maxie agreed by assuring Robin that they would both be around for a long time.

At Carlos' apartment, Patrick stopped short when he saw Carlos and Sabrina kissing. Patrick quickly recovered from his surprise and stepped forward to shove Carlos away from Sabrina. Patrick ordered Carlos to keep his hands off of Sabrina, but Carlos refused to apologize. Patrick questioned what kind of man would take advantage of Sabrina when she had been in a vulnerable state, so Carlos assured Patrick that he was twice the man that Patrick was. Sabrina stepped between the men and asked them to back off, but Patrick continued the seethe with anger. Sabrina explained that she had bumped into Carlos on the pier and that they had returned to his place for drinks, nothing else. Sabrina conceded that Carlos had kissed her, but she assured Patrick that she had only responded out of reflex.

Patrick asked Sabrina to collect her things, so they could leave, but Carlos was curious why Patrick thought that Sabrina would leave with Patrick after Patrick had stranded Sabrina at the altar. Sabrina warned Carlos to stay out of it, but Carlos insisted that she had made it his business when she had cried on his shoulder. Carlos reminded Sabrina that he had warned her that Patrick would forget all about Sabrina when Robin showed up. Patrick denied it, but Carlos was curious if Patrick was there to tell Sabrina who Patrick had chosen.

Sabrina informed Carlos that it was unfair to expect Patrick to sort everything out within twenty-four hours. She assured Patrick that the last thing that she wanted to do was to make him have to choose between her and Robin, but she agreed with Carlos that she deserved an answer. Patrick looked pained as he explained that he needed time, but he promised her that he had never meant to hurt her. Carlos accused Patrick of seeing Sabrina as a consolation prize, so Carlos announced that he would take Sabrina home. Sabrina made it clear to Carlos that she was a grown woman and perfectly capable of taking care of herself.

After Sabrina left, Carlos snickered, "Nice work, Doc." Patrick turned and punched Carlos. Carlos fell to the ground, so Patrick kneeled down to explain that he was obligated to warn Carlos that a head injury could mess with a person's sense of direction. Patrick made it clear that he would kill Carlos if Carlos went near Sabrina.

12/9 Sabrina was stunned when she opened her apartment door and found Robin, who asked if Robin and Sabrina could talk. Once inside, Robin saw Sabrina's wedding dress and complimented it. Sabrina explained that the dress had belonged to her mother, who had passed away when Sabrina was very young. Robin noted that Sabrina's story mirrored Emma's. Robin said that she understood why Sabrina had been so close to Emma. Robin said that one of the reasons that she was there was to thank Sabrina for taking such good care of Emma. Robin said that Emma loved Sabrina. Sabrina replied that she had never tried to take Robin's place with either Emma or Patrick. Robin said that she had heard from Emma how much Sabrina had done to keep Robin's memory alive.

Robin responded that Sabrina had not replaced Robin but had found her own place in Patrick and Emma's hearts. Robin said that she was very grateful to Sabrina for taking care of her family, which reminded Robin of the second reason for her visit. Robin asked for Sabrina's help in getting her family back. Sabrina said that the choice was up to Patrick, but Robin disagreed and told Sabrina that the choice was hers. Robin said that she had seen the wedding, and she knew how much Patrick loved Sabrina; since they both knew Patrick, they both knew that Patrick would be reluctant to hurt either woman and would be unable to make a choice. Robin said that for two years, she had dreamed that her family was waiting. If not for that, she could not have survived.

Robin insisted that despite the fact that Patrick had done what she had asked on that DVD, Patrick would never have fallen in love with Sabrina if Patrick had thought that there was any possibility that Robin was alive. Robin asked Sabrina to make it easy on Patrick. Robin told Sabrina that Robin had given Patrick a push the previous day when she had sent him to Sabrina, and she was asking Sabrina to return the favor and push Patrick in Robin's direction. Robin asked Sabrina to do the right thing for all of them and break up with Patrick. Sabrina noted ironically that she was conversing with Patrick's not-dead wife, who was asking Sabrina to break up with Sabrina's almost husband. Robin replied that the only things that had kept her alive during her captivity were thoughts of Emma, Patrick, and their family. Robin begged Sabrina to let them be a family again.

Epiphany saw Patrick at General Hospital and told him that it looked like someone needed a hug. Patrick said that he was fine, but Epiphany disagreed. She knew that Patrick loved both Robin and Sabrina and that Patrick was committed to both women for different reasons. Epiphany sympathized and said that she wished she could tell him what to do. Epiphany reminded Patrick that it was only human for him to spare both women pain. Patrick said that Epiphany was right about one thing; Patrick did need a hug. They embraced.

12/11 Anna had a clandestine meeting with Robert in another area of the parking garage to discuss Faison. Robert assured Anna that no one would ever find Faison or learn what they had done to the diabolical criminal. Anna warned Robert that no one could ever discover their secret because the consequences would not only affect them, but also their daughter and Robin's family. Robert wondered if Anna could be wound any tighter, so Anna reminded Robert that there would be questions because Faison had last been seen in their custody. Robert conceded that Anna had a point, so he suggested that they practice their poker faces. Anna assured Robert that she intended to take their secret to the grave.

Moments later, Duke rounded the corner. Anna's expression clouded with guilt, but Duke was too focused on Robert to notice. Duke confronted Robert about helping Julian Jerome escape prosecution for the things that Julian had done to Duke and Anna. Robert explained that he hadn't been given a choice in the matter because the World Security Bureau had been in charge, but Duke insisted that Robert had owed Anna the truth. Robert argued that he had protected Anna by not telling her that Julian was alive because Robert had known that Anna would have hunted Julian down.

Duke pointed out that Robert's secret hadn't done anyone any good. "Secrets rarely do," Duke added. Robert refused to apologize for how he had handled the situation with Julian and then suggested that Duke take some responsibility for the years that Duke had been imprisoned because Duke had made the choice to work for Julian. Anna immediately defended Duke by making it clear that Duke had distanced himself from organized crime a long time before. Duke suddenly recalled Sonny's job offer to help Sonny neutralize Julian, but he didn't share the news with Robert and Anna. According to Duke, Julian was best left for the police to handle. Duke added that Anna would be able to focus on taking Julian down because Faison and Obrecht had been captured. Robert assured Duke that they would not be hearing from Faison again.

In Anna's suite, Robin and Emma were curled up on the sofa. Robin promised her daughter that they would go home soon. Emma wondered what would happen to Sabrina, but a knock on the door spared Robin from having to answer the awkward question.

Emma was delighted when she saw her father standing on the doorstep. Patrick greeted Emma with a big hug and then smiled at Robin. Emma wanted to know if Patrick had missed them, so he assured his daughter that he had. After Patrick sent Emma to the bathroom to brush her teeth, Robin asked Patrick if he was there to take them home. Patrick admitted that he was still trying to figure things out. Surprised, Robin wondered if he had talked to Sabrina. Patrick revealed that he had seen Sabrina the previous morning, so Robin confessed that she had hoped that Patrick and Sabrina had made a decision about where they stood with each other.

Patrick wished that they could go back to the way that things had been, but he couldn't pretend that nothing had happened because things were too complicated. "Not for me," Robin replied. Robin immediately apologized because she knew that she hadn't been fair to Patrick. Patrick knew that Robin was eager to have her family back. "It's our family," Robin reminded him. Patrick explained that he, along with everyone else, had believed that she had died in the explosion, so he had struggled to get past the tragedy. Patrick tearfully revealed that he had thought about Robin constantly and had held onto the plane tickets that he had given to her on her birthday.

Surprised, Robin wondered why he hadn't thrown the tickets out, so he confessed that he had hoped and prayed that Robin would return one day. Robin smiled softly as she pointed out that she had. Patrick explained that he had watched Robin's video countless times simply to hear her voice, but eventually he had been forced to move on with his life. "Right before I came home," Robin quietly realized. Moments later, Emma returned and asked if she and her mommy would be going home with Patrick. Robin explained that they weren't ready, but she assured Emma that Patrick was there to spend quality time with Emma before school. Robin gave her daughter a quick kiss and then left.

After Robin left, Emma confessed that she was confused about why Patrick couldn't take her and her mother home. Patrick admitted that he and Robin needed some time to get to know each other again, but Emma argued that her mother hadn't changed. Emma wondered if Patrick wanted to be with them, so Patrick quickly assured her that he did. "Then what are you waiting for?" Emma asked.

Patrick confessed that it was complicated, but it had to do with Sabrina. He revealed that he didn't want to hurt Sabrina or Robin, but Emma became even more confused because she couldn't understand why they couldn't all live together as a family. Patrick explained that he could only have one wife, but he promised Emma that he and Emma would always be a family. Emma wanted to know if they would be a family with her mother or Sabrina.

Patrick helped Emma with her coat as she wondered if he would have an answer by Christmas. She was concerned that Santa might not find her if they didn't hang their stockings, but Patrick promised Emma that Santa would always find her. However, he assured his daughter that he would have everything figured out by then. Emma wanted him to pinkie-promise, so he agreed.

Robin exited the elevator at GH and spotted Sabrina. Sabrina and Robin went to an unoccupied examination room to talk privately. Robin apologized for tracking Sabrina down, but Robin wanted to make certain that they were both on the same page about Sabrina breaking things off with Patrick. Robin explained that Patrick was at Metro Court, so she was certain that Epiphany could give Sabrina some time off.

Sabrina admitted that she had had a change of heart about ending things with Patrick. Sabrina appreciated that Patrick and Robin loved each other, but Sabrina reminded Robin that Patrick also loved Sabrina. Robin wondered if Sabrina thought that Robin should step aside. Sabrina quickly clarified that it should be Patrick's choice, not theirs. Robin confessed that she already knew who Patrick would choose, so she was certain that things would end badly for Sabrina. "I guess we'll see," Sabrina quietly replied. Robin urged Sabrina to reconsider because Robin genuinely didn't want to see Sabrina hurt more than she had been.

12/12 At Maxie's apartment, Maxie was looking at the photograph of her daughter when someone knocked on the door. Maxie opened the door and smiled with joy when she saw Robin standing on her doorstep. She hugged Robin and admitted that she still had difficulty believing that Robin was truly alive. Robin smiled and then asked Maxie how Maxie was doing. Robin was concerned that Maxie might still have thoughts of hurting herself, but Maxie assured Robin that things were better because she had Robin back. Robin promised Maxie that Maxie would get through being separated from the baby and then pointed out that the baby was only across town.

Maxie told Robin about Spinelli's girlfriend, Ellie, and Ellie's job opportunity in Portland. Robin hoped that Maxie had made it clear that Spinelli couldn't move across the country with the baby. Maxie explained that she had urged Spinelli to move with Ellie to Portland because it would be too difficult for Maxie to stay away from the baby. Robin wondered if Maxie was prepared to live with that decision. Maxie revealed that the judge had been furious with Maxie, so it was unlikely that he would grant Maxie visitation with the baby. Robin thought that Maxie showed incredible strength by letting her daughter go, so Spinelli wouldn't lose custody of the baby if Maxie violated the court order. Maxie reminded Robin that they had both promised each other that they would survive, so that was what Maxie intended to do.

Maxie shifted gears to ask how things were between Robin and Patrick. Robin confessed that she had done something really stupid by asking Sabrina to let Patrick go. Maxie thought that it was understandable, but Robin argued that Robin didn't have the right to think that she was more important than Sabrina. Maxie disagreed because Robin was Patrick's wife and Emma's mother. Robin countered that it had been two years since Robin, Patrick, and Emma had been a family, so Patrick might decide that he wanted to be with Sabrina. Maxie disagreed because Patrick loved Robin and always had. Maxie and Robin's conversation then drifted to Maxie's daughter, so Maxie showed Robin a picture of the baby. Robin was surprised by the baby's uncanny resemblance to Maxie's sister, Georgie. Maxie admitted that she had thought the same thing. Moments later, a knock at the door interrupted them. Maxie decided to fetch a tissue, so she asked Robin to answer the door.

Robin smiled brightly when she opened the door and saw Spinelli. They exchanged warm greetings as Spinelli entered the apartment. Spinelli welcomed Robin home and admitted that it was amazing to see her. Robin congratulated Spinelli on the birth of his daughter and then added that she knew about Ellie's job opportunity in Portland. Maxie returned in time to overhear the exchange, so she asked if Spinelli had made a decision. Spinelli admitted that he had doubts about moving, so Maxie assured him that she thought that it would be best for everyone if he went with Ellie to Portland. Spinelli relented and agreed to move.

12/19 A nurse handed Patrick his cell phone that he had left at the nurses' station. Patrick thanked the nurse as Robin walked up. "You wanted to see me?" Robin asked softly. Patrick smiled and then suggested that it was time for Emma to return home, so she could wake up in her own bed on Christmas morning. Robin agreed, so Patrick handed Robin a set of house keys as he explained that he had arranged for Anna and Duke to drop off Emma at the house after Emma's visit with Santa. Robin noticed that they were Patrick's keys, so she quietly asked if he intended to move in with Sabrina.

Patrick explained that he had decided to stay in the on-call room. He appreciated that it had been a difficult time for everyone, but he knew that Robin wouldn't return home until he had ended things with Sabrina. "Can you blame me?" Robin asked. Patrick assured Robin that he didn't and then explained that he had promised their daughter that he would have everything figured out by Christmas, but he needed a little more time. Robin smiled in understanding, gave him a quick kiss, wished him a Merry Christmas in case she didn't see him, and then left.

Patrick checked his phone and saw that Sabrina had left him a voicemail message. He listened to the message as Sam walked up. Sam greeted him, so he admitted that he wasn't in the mood to talk. Sam empathized because she had been at the church when Patrick had found out that Robin was alive. Patrick confessed that it had felt like something out of his dreams. He had realized that it had been real when he had seen Robin holding Emma. Sam admitted that it had been a miracle. Patrick agreed, but he explained that he owed everything to Sabrina because Sabrina had put Patrick and Emma back together. Sam was curious if Patrick loved Sabrina, so he admitted that he loved both Robin and Sabrina, but he didn't want to hurt either woman. Sam argued that it couldn't be avoided, so Patrick revealed that he didn't know where he belonged. Sam was certain that Patrick's heart knew. Sam urged Patrick to make a decision, so everyone could move on with their lives. After a quick hug and a promise that everything would be okay, Sam left.

At the Drake residence, Robin picked up a picture of her and Patrick on their wedding day as she thought about the day that they had decided to buy the house. Robin had been certain that the house had been meant for them.

Moments later, Anna and Duke arrived with Emma in tow. Emma was delighted to be home, so Robin hugged her daughter and asked if Emma had had fun at the mall. Anna revealed that Emma had given Santa a surprisingly long list, but Emma quickly assured Robin that having Robin home had been the best present. Robin smiled and assured her daughter that Emma would get lots of other gifts, so Emma decided to fetch the Christmas stockings. Robin revealed that the stockings were in the attic, so Duke offered to help Emma retrieve them. After Duke and Emma left the room, Anna sat down to have a chat with her daughter. Anna was curious how it felt to be home, so Robin admitted that she had noticed that Patrick had changed a few things. Anna explained that Maxie had made the changes because Maxie had thought that it would help Patrick and Emma move on from losing Robin. Robin appreciated what Maxie had done, but it had made Robin feel strange.

Robin confessed that she had wanted the house when she had first seen it because she had thought that it would pull her out of her postpartum depression. Robin conceded that it hadn't been a cure-all, but Robin had never regretted the decision to buy the house. Anna pointed out that Robin, Patrick, and Emma had become a family in the house. Robin agreed and then admitted that she had wonderful memories of living there, but it felt like she had walked into someone else's house because, without Patrick, those memories seemed like a lifetime ago.

Robin explained that she had tried to give Patrick the space that he needed to work through everything, but there were times that she wanted to shake him and tell him that he was an idiot. Anna knew what Patrick was going through because Anna had been in a similar situation when Robin had been a young girl. Anna revealed that she had moved on with Duke when Robert had walked back into their lives. Anna confessed that she had been torn because she had shared a special connection with Robert. However, Anna had also loved Duke.

Robin was curious who Anna would pick if Robert wanted Anna back. Anna explained that it wouldn't happen because Robert respected Anna's relationship with Duke, so Robert wouldn't put Anna in that position. Robin admitted that she couldn't wait indefinitely for Patrick to make a decision, so Anna assured Robin that Patrick would soon realize that Robin was the woman Patrick wanted to spend his life with. Robin hoped that her mother was right. Moments later, Duke and Emma returned with the stockings to hang. Duke wandered over to the tree, so Anna walked up behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She sensed the tension in him, so she asked if he was okay. Duke recalled agreeing to work for Sonny to keep Anna safe from Julian, but he pushed the thoughts away and kissed Anna.

Meanwhile, Emma wondered if they should hang Patrick's stocking because he might be at Sabrina's for Christmas. Duke stepped in to distract Emma by offering to help Emma find the perfect place on the fireplace mantel for Emma and Robin's stockings. Seconds later, the doorbell rang. Robin whispered Patrick's name as she went to open the door.

At Sabrina's apartment, someone knocked on the door. Sabrina assumed that it was Felix, so she was surprised when she opened the door and saw Patrick standing on her doorstep.

12/23 Sabrina was surprised when she opened the door and saw Patrick. Patrick said that he owed her an apology for leaving her hanging. Sabrina said that she understood that he needed time, and even though she was not officially his wife, she had meant her vows. Patrick said that he had meant his vows, also. He said that he loved Sabrina and had fully intended to spend the rest of his life with her. Patrick told Sabrina that he had loved her for herself and not just because she had nursed him back to life. Patrick said that Sam had helped him have a new perspective and that he was delaying the inevitable because he was trying not to hurt anyone, which was impossible.

Sabrina realized that Patrick was choosing Robin. Patrick said that if he had had any inkling that Robin was alive, he would never have stopped searching for her, and he would never have fallen in love with anyone else. Patrick asked Sabrina to forgive him. Tearfully, she did. They hugged. Patrick wanted to linger, but Sabrina gave him the presents that she had for Emma and sent Patrick on his way. A few minutes later, there was another knock. When Sabrina opened the door, Carlos was leaning against the frame, bleeding.

Emma, Robin, Duke, and Anna got a visit from Santa, whom Emma quickly recognized as Robert in a costume and padding. They laughed and shared one present with Emma, a musical instrument from Australia, the didgeridoo. Robert asked why Patrick was not there, but Robin told him to "butt out." Anna got a call about a shooting on the waterfront and left, after speculating that it had something to do with the brewing mob war between Sonny and Julian.

Robin said that she had not yet spoken to Sonny. Anna said that she had had several conversations with Sonny and she had no doubt that Sonny loved Robin, but Anna said that Sonny was a criminal by choice, and she could not ignore that. After Anna left, Duke sent a text message to Sonny that Anna was on the way. As Duke and Emma played with the didgeridoo, Robin told Robert that Patrick had promised to make his decision by Christmas. Robert grumbled, and Duke decided to go looking for Anna. Robert said it was better for Duke to let Anna tend to work and that it was a very good thing that this time, Duke and Anna were on the same side of the law. Robert offered to buy Duke a drink while they waited for Anna to finish her job. Duke agreed.

Robin was startled by a knock on her front door, which she opened to Patrick. Robin said that she had not been expecting him, but Patrick replied that she should have been. Patrick told Robin that he should have been home a long time before, but he had been an idiot. Patrick vowed to Robin that he was where he belonged for good. Patrick said that he was Robin's husband, "this" was their family and their life, and he wanted it all back, if Robin would have him. Robin was deliriously happy as she said she would. They kissed passionately.

12/26 At the Drake residence, Patrick and Robin woke up in bed together. Robin smiled as she snuggled close to Patrick and reminded herself that she hadn't been dreaming. "We found our way back to each other," she quietly said. Patrick promised his wife that nothing would ever tear them apart again, so she leaned up to kiss him.

Afterwards, Patrick apologized that it had taken him so long realize that his heart had always belonged to her. Robin told him that she loved him, so she refused to let a few days of indecision stand in her way. Robin knew that Patrick had ended things with Sabrina, so she was curious how Sabrina had taken it. Patrick admitted that Sabrina had tried to be strong, but it had been clear that she had been deeply hurt. Robin felt bad, but she refused to regret having her husband back. Patrick confessed that he was the happiest that he had ever been and then kissed his wife.

Later, Robin confided that she had been apprehensive about being intimate with Patrick again because she had been afraid that things had changed. However, she was relieved that everything was as wonderful as it had been in the past. Patrick leaned down to kiss his wife, but a loud noise drew his attention. Robin groaned as she explained that her father, Robert, had given Emma a didgeridoo for Christmas. Moments later, Emma burst through the door, blowing into the didgeridoo and then adopting an Australian accent to announce that it was Christmas.

Robin, Patrick, and Emma went to the living room to open presents. Emma ripped into the present that Robin had picked up for her daughter, but Emma's enthusiasm waned when she saw that it was a Koala bear because Emma already had one. Patrick tactfully pointed out that the new Koala bear could be a buddy to "Snowflake" and keep it from being lonely. Emma smiled and then dove under the tree to retrieve another gift. Emma held up a present and announced that it was from Sabrina, so she opened it and then exclaimed with delight because it was a Dyna Girl adventure kit and exactly what she had wanted. Emma was eager to thank Sabrina, so Robin assured her daughter that it would be fine. Satisfied, Emma returned to the tree to play with her gifts, so Patrick quietly asked if Robin was okay. "Not yet, but I will be," Robin assured him.

Later, Patrick surprised Robin by handing her a small box. Nestled inside, was Robin's wedding ring. Patrick slid the ring onto Robin's finger as she confessed that it was prettier than she had remembered. Robin's eyes filled with tears of joy as Patrick kissed her. Emma saw the tears and worried that something was wrong, but Robin assured her daughter that everything was okay. However, Robin felt bad that she hadn't gotten Patrick a present, but he quickly assured Robin that his gift had been her returning home.

12/27 At the Drake residence, Patrick was taking down the Christmas stockings from the mantel when Robin entered the room and announced that Emma had decided to spend the afternoon at a friend's house because Emma had had fun at Reece's sleepover. Patrick was surprised because he had expected Emma to be eager to return home because she had missed Robin. "Well, I guess the thrill is gone," Robin replied with a smile. Patrick assured her that the thrill of having Robin home hadn't faded for him. Robin was curious why Patrick had been taking down the Christmas decorations before they rang in the New Year, so he explained that he wanted their lives to get back to normal as quickly as possible. Robin admitted that she looked forward to that, too, so she didn't object to him packing up the Christmas things.

Moments later, Maxie called demanding to see Robin on an urgent matter. Robin quickly ended the call and then changed out of her pajamas. Patrick was disappointed that Robin was leaving. Robin assured him that she would return home and then promised that nothing would ever keep her from her family again. She told him that she loved him and then left.

A short time later, Sam stopped by to share the good news about Danny's blood work and to check on Patrick. Patrick was happy for both Sam and Danny and admitted that it was the best news that he had heard since discovering that Robin was alive. Sam guessed that Patrick had decided to return home to Robin, so Patrick confirmed that he had ended things with Sabrina. He regretted that it had taken him so long to realize what his heart had already known because he had ended up hurting both Robin and Sabrina in the end.

Patrick admitted that it had been painful to say goodbye to Sabrina, but he insisted that going home to Robin had been the right decision. He confessed that it had felt like a dream. "A dream come true," Sam replied. Patrick smiled and then talked about how wonderful it was to have his wife back and how much he had missed Robin's quirky habits. Sam confided that she had once dreamed of Jason returning home to her, but that kind of miracle could only happen once. According to Sam, Patrick had gotten his miracle, so she had accepted that it wouldn't happen for her.

Patrick was curious how things were between Sam and Silas. Sam smiled as she confessed that Patrick had been right to encourage her to give Silas a chance, but she admitted that she and Silas hadn't "closed the deal" yet. Patrick wondered what was holding Sam and Silas back, so she explained that the timing hadn't been right in part because she and Silas had had a lot to deal with. Sam then confided that Ava had repeatedly suggested that Silas was hiding something. Patrick cautioned Sam not dismiss Ava's warnings as spiteful remarks from a jealous ex-girlfriend because Ava had tried to warn him that Robin was alive.

Sam insisted that Ava couldn't be trusted because Ava wanted Silas back. Patrick decided to let the matter drop as long as Sam was happy. "I am," she assured him and then announced that it was time to go, provided that she could tear her son away from Patrick. Patrick smiled as he bounced Danny on his knee and confessed that he had been deeply disappointed to learn that he had not been the father of Britt's baby because he had looked forward to being a father again. Sam pointed out that Patrick's wife had returned home, so perhaps Patrick should talk to Robin about expanding their family.

A short time later, Robin arrived. Maxie hugged her cousin and then grimaced when she noticed Robin's out-of-date jacket. Maxie was surprised that Patrick had held on to it, but Robin was more concerned about why Maxie had called. Felicia and Mac entered the room and announced that Maxie had decided to leave town. Felicia insisted that it had been an impulsive decision, while Mac worried that Maxie intended to go to Portland.

Maxie promised that she would not go to Portland, but she explained that she had to leave town for a few months because she needed some distance and to find perspective on everything that had happened over the past year. Maxie admitted that she wanted to take a similar journey of self-discovery that the heroine in Eat, Pray, Love had, so she begged Mac, Felicia, and Robin for their support. Maxie promised that Port Charles would always be her home, but she intended to leave by midnight before the New Year.

Maxie conceded that she had been to blame for everything that had happened, but she refused to watch the clock tick down to the new year, surrounded by reminders of everything that she had done. Robin assured Maxie that they loved Maxie and then promised that she had Robin's blessing. Maxie promised to return in a few months, so Robin hugged Maxie and then left. Felicia and Mac braced themselves to say goodbye to Maxie, but Maxie warned them that it wasn't necessary because she needed their help with the luggage and a ride to the airport. However, first Maxie wanted to take care of one last thing.

Patrick was relieved when Robin arrived home. Robin reminded him that she had promised him that she would return and then shifted gears to suggest that they go to Kelly's for a BLT. Robin confessed that she had been craving the popular BLTs for two years. Patrick agreed to go to Kelly's, but he revealed that he wanted to talk to her about something first. "What do you say we have another baby?" Patrick asked.

12/30 Patrick asked Robin to have another baby. Robin wanted to know why. Patrick said that Sam had stopped by with Danny, who incidentally was as stoic as Jason and Jason's spitting image, and it had started Patrick thinking about how cool it would be to have a son and that it would be a perfect way to show their renewed love. Robin asked if this had something to do with Britt?

Dvd #21B Patrick added that he had invested in Britt's baby when Patrick had thought it was his, and he had felt a loss when he had found out it was not. Robin said that she understood all those reasons, but she was not ready to have a child. Robin said that for two years, she had dreamed about returning home to her family, the three of them, and getting back to their routine. Robin said that she needed time to get to know Emma again. Robin said that all she wanted to do was walk in the door, kiss her husband, and cuddle her daughter.

Robin said that she was not ruling out having another child; she just wanted to wait until things settled down and Robin was sure that Emma was not suffering from all the changes that were taking place. Patrick was disappointed but understood. Patrick said that he had just wanted to show the world that even though their life had been on hold for two years, they loved each other and were a family. Patrick brightened up when Robin said that there was another way. Robin made Patrick guess, but he kept guessing animals until Robin was laughing and told him it was not a pet.

When Robin said that they should renew their vows with each other and with Emma as a family to help Emma through the changes of the past year and to help Patrick and Robin, too, Patrick thought it was a great idea and wanted to do it immediately. He said he could think of no better way for them to start the new year than to commit to their marriage and family. Robin thought so, too. The test was positive. Sabrina is pregnant.

1/2 At the Drake residence, Emma entered the living room, dressed up for the evening and sporting a pair of 2014 party glasses. Emma informed her parents that it was the biggest party night of the year, so she was determined to stay awake until midnight, unlike the previous year when Emma and Sabrina had fallen asleep. Robin's smile became strained, so Patrick tactfully changed the subject by revealing that he and Robin had decided to renew their vows with a recommitment ceremony later that evening.

Emma was excited, so she asked if they could invite Spencer and Cameron. Patrick admitted that he and Robin had wanted to keep things simple and low-key, so Emma was curious who would officiate the ceremony. Patrick and Robin confessed that they hadn't picked anyone, so Emma suggested that they call Lucy. Patrick quickly nixed the idea, but he and Robin decided that they had a perfect solution, since they didn't need someone with a license.

Later, Emma stood on a chair with a sheet draped over her shoulders as she began the recommitment ceremony. Robin suggested that they start with the vows, so she began to recite the vows that she had made on their wedding day. Patrick smiled and then followed suit by repeating the vows that he had made to Robin when they had gotten married. After Robin and Patrick exchanged vows, Patrick leaned down to kiss his wife, but Emma objected. Emma held out Robin and Patrick's wedding rings, so each took a ring and then slid it onto their spouse's finger as they repeated "With this ring, I thee wed." Emma happily pronounced her parents husband and wife and then invited them to kiss.

Later, Patrick and Robin rang in the New Year with a toast to Robin being home with her family. Patrick was grateful that he was able to start the New Year with his wife at his side. Patrick and Robin glanced at their daughter and then smiled when they realized that she had fallen asleep before the clock had struck midnight.

1/9 Outside of Kelly's, Robin spoke to Patrick on her cell phone. She revealed that Emma hadn't wanted to go to school that morning, so Patrick suggested that their daughter likely hoped to spend as much time as possible with Robin before Robin returned to work. "Smooth," Robin replied with a smile. Patrick acknowledged that his hint hadn't been subtle, but he reminded her that Monica had been fired as chief of staff, so Robin could be on the short list to replace Monica if Robin played her cards right. Robin explained that she wanted to focus on getting reacclimated with her life and to catch up on everything that she had missed.

Robin entered the diner and spotted Sonny seated at one of the tables, so she assured Patrick that she would keep what he had said in mind and then ended the call. Sonny smiled when he saw Robin, so he stood up and hugged her. The two friends then sat down to catch up.

At Kelly's, Sonny confessed that he had needed to see Robin with his own eyes before he could allow himself to believe that she was alive. He began to apologize for how he had treated her over the years, but Robin cut him off because her experience had taught her to focus on the present rather than the past. Robin assured Sonny that she was grateful and happy, but she conceded that it hadn't been easy to rebuild her life. Sonny was curious if Robin had called Brenda, so Robin told him about her talk with Brenda.

Sonny and Robin then talked about Jason and the impact that Jason had had on both of their lives. Robin thought that it had been unfair that their friend had died before Jason had had a chance to learn the truth about Danny. Sonny resented that Jason had died, but Jason's "bastard" brother had lived. Robin had no idea what he was talking about, so Sonny told her about A.J.'s return and Connie's murder.

Sonny's temper flared when Michael, Kiki, and A.J. entered the diner. A.J. was surprised to see Robin, so he stepped forward to hug her, but Sonny blocked A.J.'s path and then laid into A.J. for not having any shame. According to Sonny, a decent person would have left town and certainly wouldn't have killed a defenseless woman. Michael reminded Sonny that A.J. had been acquitted, but Sonny ignored Michael as he continued to rant at A.J. Sonny informed A.J. that Michael had begged Sonny to spare A.J.'s life. Sonny accused A.J. of hiding behind Jason and then Sonny's son. "My son," A.J. quietly corrected Sonny. Sonny barked at A.J. to shut up. Sonny apologized to Robin for cutting their visit short and then stormed out.

Robin broke the tension by greeting A.J. with a hug. Michael quickly introduced Robin to Kiki, while A.J. explained that he would forever be grateful to Robin because Robin had told A.J. about Michael. Robin asked to have a private word with Michael, so A.J. and Kiki went to a nearby table and sat down.

Robin quietly admitted that she was concerned about the situation between Sonny and A.J. Michael agreed that it was a mess, but Robin sensed that Michael didn't want to talk about it, so Robin seized the opportunity to explain that she had never meant to take Michael away from Jason by telling A.J. the truth about Michael's paternity. Michael assured Robin that he knew that she had tried to do the right thing.

At the hospital, Patrick called out to Felix to ask for a moment of Felix's time. Felix explained that he was about to start his shift, but Patrick was determined to talk to Felix. Patrick explained that he was concerned about Sabrina, so he wanted to know how she had been doing. Felix suggested that Patrick talk to Sabrina if Patrick wanted to know, so Patrick admitted that he had tried, but Sabrina hadn't returned his calls. Patrick appreciated that he had hurt Sabrina, but Patrick insisted that he still cared about her. Patrick realized that he had put Felix in an awkward position, but Patrick was concerned about Sabrina.

Felix relented and admitted that Sabrina had been taking things one day at a time. Patrick was glad that Sabrina had a friend like Felix, but Felix refused to discuss it. Patrick sensed that Felix was hiding something, so he asked Felix what was really going on. Felix insisted that he couldn't talk about it, which confirmed Patrick's suspicions. Patrick wanted to help Sabrina, so he implored Felix to tell him. Felix agreed, but he reminded Patrick that Patrick had insisted on knowing. "Sabrina's pregnant," Felix revealed as Robin walked up.

1/10 At the hospital, Robin was stunned when she overheard Felix inform Patrick that Sabrina was pregnant. She wondered if she had heard Felix correctly, so Felix immediately backpedaled by claiming that he had said that Sabrina was pleasant. Felix tried to leave, but Patrick stopped him and demanded to know what was going on. Felix reluctantly admitted that Sabrina was pregnant, but Sabrina hadn't wanted Patrick and Robin to know about the baby. Confused, Patrick asked why, so Felix revealed that Sabrina hadn't wanted to cause problems for Patrick the way that Britt had.

After Felix left, Patrick apologized to Robin, but Robin admitted that she had been waiting for the other shoe to drop because things had seemed too good to be true. Patrick insisted that he and Sabrina had been careful, but Robin pointed out that clearly they hadn't been careful enough. Patrick assured Robin that he loved her and wouldn't allow anything to tear them apart. Robin argued that it wasn't just about them, but Patrick insisted that things would be okay.

Later, Felix bumped into Robin at the elevator. He apologized for dropping the bombshell on Robin and Patrick, even though he believed that Patrick had had the right to know. Robin assured Felix that she didn't intend to shoot the messenger.

1/13 At Sabrina's apartment, Carlos was trying to persuade Sabrina to marry him and raise her child as theirs in Puerto Rico when Patrick started pounding on the door. Sabrina sent Carlos to another room and opened the door to Patrick, who got straight to the point and asked if Felix was correct and Sabrina was pregnant. Sabrina hesitated but admitted it as Carlos listened. Patrick asked if Sabrina had known the night he told her that he was reconciling with Robin, but Sabrina said that she had not known at that time.

Patrick sat by Sabrina and told her that he would support whatever she wanted to do. Before Sabrina could say anything, Carlos burst into he room and told Patrick that the baby was his and had been conceived the night that Robin had returned. Carlos said that Sabrina had turned to him. He said that they had gotten drunk and had had unprotected sex. Patrick turned to Sabrina and asked if Carlos was telling the truth.

1/14 At the apartment, Carlos claimed that Sabrina was pregnant with his baby, but Patrick wanted to hear it from Sabrina. Sabrina's eyes filled with unshed tears as she went along with Carlos' lie by admitting that Carlos was the baby's father. Shocked, Patrick seemed at a loss for words, so Sabrina begged him to say something. Patrick wondered why she had denied sleeping with Carlos, so Sabrina tearfully explained that she hadn't wanted Patrick to know what she had done in case she and Patrick could work things out. However, Sabrina confessed that she had known that she and Patrick were over the moment that Patrick had kissed Robin in the church. She claimed that she had been devastated, so she had turned to Carlos for comfort. Carlos coldly informed Patrick that Patrick only had himself to blame and then announced that it was time for Patrick to "hit the road."

Patrick wanted to know how Sabrina could be certain that the baby wasn't Patrick's. Sabrina conceded that she couldn't be one hundred percent certain, but she and Patrick had used protection, while she and Carlos had not. Patrick explained that he and Robin had used protection when he and Robin had conceived Emma, but Sabrina argued that the timing wasn't right for Patrick to be the father. Patrick accepted the lie and then left. Sabrina dissolved into tears as soon as the door closed. Carlos tried to comfort her, but she angrily demanded to know why he had lied. Carlos pointed out that she should be mad at Felix, not him, and then reminded her that she had easily gone along with the lie. Sabrina argued that she hadn't had a choice, but Carlos disagreed because she could have told Patrick the truth if she had really wanted to. Sabrina conceded that Carlos was right, so Carlos hugged her and assured her that everything would be okay.

Nearby, Elizabeth spotted Robin sitting on the step of the staircase, so she approached her friend as she called out a greeting. Robin smiled and revealed that she had put herself into the running for chief of staff. Elizabeth was happy for Robin and wondered how Patrick had taken the news. Robin admitted that she hadn't told Patrick, but she would tell him when he returned from Sabrina's apartment. Elizabeth was shocked when Robin confided that Sabrina was pregnant and that Sabrina hadn't intended to tell Patrick about the baby because Sabrina hadn't wanted Patrick to feel obligated. "Ah, she didn't want to be a Britt," Elizabeth concluded. Elizabeth sensed Robin's distress, so she hoped that it wasn't because Robin feared that the baby might pull Patrick and Sabrina back together. Robin admitted that she didn't want to believe that it was possible, but she had doubts.

Elizabeth reminded Robin that Patrick had chosen Robin and Emma, so nothing would change that. Robin confessed that Patrick had recently broached the subject of having another baby, but Robin had turned him down because she had felt that it hadn't been the right time. Elizabeth assured Robin that Robin had had the right to feel that way. Elizabeth insisted that nothing, not even death, had been able to keep Patrick and Robin apart, so Elizabeth was certain that the complication of Sabrina's pregnancy wouldn't hurt Patrick and Robin's relationship. Robin thanked Elizabeth for the support, so Elizabeth offered to stay with Robin until Patrick returned, but Robin insisted that Elizabeth go home to the boys.

Shortly after Elizabeth left, Patrick returned. Robin was eager for news about his visit with Sabrina, so he revealed that Sabrina was pregnant, but not with his baby. Robin breathed a sigh of relief and hugged her husband. "Everything's really going to be okay," Robin quietly whispered. Patrick smiled, but it didn't reach his eyes.

1/20 Felix and Sabrina were arguing when Robin and Patrick stepped off the elevator. Patrick and Robin acted like concerned friends to Sabrina, but nothing more. Felix did not understand Patrick's cavalier attitude toward Sabrina and called him on it. Patrick said that Carlos was the father of Sabrina's baby. Felix was surprised but kept his mouth shut as Robin and Patrick went to get coffee before the board meeting began.

Felix took Sabrina to task, even after he heard how Carlos had interfered. Felix said that Sabrina was just as bad as Britt, because hiding the baby from Patrick was the same as pretending that Patrick was the father. Sabrina said that her mind was made up and that if Felix wanted to remain friends, he would have to promise to keep her secret. Felix raised his hand and swore that he would never tell anyone that Patrick was the father of Sabrina's baby. Elizabeth overheard Felix.

Robin sipped coffee and talked about running into Sabrina at the hospital. Patrick expressed surprise that Sabrina had not told Felix about Carlos. Britt ran into Silas and told him that she was also in the running for chief of staff. Monica, who was confident that she would get her job back soon, joined Robin, Patrick, Silas, and Britt. When the chairman of the board joined them to make the announcement, they were all speechless when Dr. Obrecht walked in and announced that she was the new chief of staff at General Hospital.

1/21 At Kelly's, Emma confessed to her grandfather and uncle that she was "lovesick." Robert and Mac exchanged a surprised glance before Robert gently asked who had stolen Emma's heart. "Cameron and Spencer," Emma replied. Robert insisted that Emma was too young for boys but became distracted when he saw his brother's grin. Mac explained that he had gone through the same thing with Emma's mother, so it was Robert's turn to deal with a young girl's affair of the heart.

Robert made it clear that he forbade Emma to date until after she was thirty, but Emma merely laughed because she thought that her grandfather was being silly. Mac agreed but quickly added that Robert was right about Emma being too young. However, Mac was curious which boy Emma would choose if she had to pick one. Robert insisted that it wasn't necessary for Emma to choose and then suggested that she needed a convent education. Emma wondered what that was, but Mac assured her that she need not worry about it.

Mac's phone rang, so he stepped away to take the call while Robert told Emma that a decision could wait until she was out of middle school. Mac returned to announce that Nikolas had invited Emma to Wyndemere for a play date. Emma became distracted when she saw her grandmother enter. Anna greeted Emma, Mac, and Robert and then explained that she needed to talk to Robert. Mac handed Emma's coat to his great-niece as he explained that he and Emma were headed to Wyndemere. Anna and Robert appeared concerned, so Mac assured them there wasn't anything to worry about because Faison was long gone.

After Mac and Emma left, Anna and Robert went to a quiet corner where Anna revealed that the World Security Bureau had set Liesl Obrecht free. Robert wondered how that was possible, so Anna explained that Liesl's attorney had met with the WSB. Robert realized that Liesl had provided the WSB with valuable information in exchange for Liesl's freedom. Anna wondered if it was possible that Liesl knew what they had done to Faison, but Robert assured Anna that they had covered their tracks well.

Anna pointed out that it wouldn't stop Liesl from asking questions, but Robert reminded Anna that they had put a plan in place for that eventuality. Robert was confident that Liesl would hit a brick wall if Liesl went looking for Faison. However, Robert admitted that they needed to figure out what Liesl had used to barter for her freedom. Robert feared that whatever it had been would return to bite them all "right in the ass." Anna suggested that they reach out to Frisco, but Robert suspected that Frisco had been cut out of the loop, otherwise Frisco would have called.

Anna hoped that Liesl stayed far away from Port Charles, so Robert decided to put out a few feelers to figure out what Liesl was up to. Robert assured Anna that they would get Liesl, but Anna pointed out that Liesl had already managed to slip through their fingers. Robert admitted that they had "bigger fish to fry" than Liesl; their granddaughter was involved in a love triangle.

In the parlor, Emma was surprised when she saw Cameron. Cam greeted her and then handed her an origami figure that he had made. Spencer insisted that Emma was too smart to fall for Cam's "homemade crafts," so Cam countered by assuring Spencer that Emma wouldn't fall for Spencer's "shiny bathrobe." The two cousins began to bicker at each other until Emma asked why the boys were fighting. Cam explained that he and Spencer each wanted to be Emma's boyfriend. Spencer agreed and then demanded to know which of them Emma wanted because not knowing had been unbearable. Spencer implored her to put them out of their misery. Cam declared his love for Emma, so Spencer quickly followed suit and then added that he had a castle. Cam argued that he could make Emma a castle. Emma admitted that she couldn't choose because both boys were "cool." Spencer suddenly had an idea that would resolve their dilemma once and for all.

In the hospital's conference room, Patrick, Robin, Silas, Monica, and Britt were shocked when it was revealed that Liesl Obrecht was the hospital's new chief of staff. Patrick informed the board member that Liesl wasn't even a doctor, so Monica demanded to know who Liesl Obrecht was. Robin explained that Liesl was a criminal, while Britt admitted that Liesl had made Joan Crawford look like June Cleaver. Liesl smiled indulgently at everyone as she insisted that Joan Crawford had been woefully misunderstood and smeared by an ungrateful child. Robin informed the board member that Liesl should be rotting in a jail, so Britt asked how Liesl had managed to escape from prison and bamboozle the board.

Disgusted, Robin attacked Liesl, choking her until Patrick stepped in and pulled his wife off of Liesl. Robin accused Liesl of being a violent criminal, so Silas suggested that they call the police. The board member was disappointed by Robin's behavior, so Robin explained that Liesl had kidnapped Robin and then had enslaved Robin for two years. "Steve Hardy must be rolling in his grave," Robin added. "Spinning is more like it," Monica muttered. Liesl was confident that Steve Hardy would applaud the board for hiring her because Liesl had grand plans for the hospital.

Patrick demanded to know what Liesl was talking about. "Wait and see," Liesl replied. The board member assured everyone that he appreciated their concerns, but he insisted that he had the documents to prove that Liesl had been released from custody. Robin took the papers from him and then looked them over before accusing Liesl of forging the documents. The board member explained that he had talked to the director of the WSB to confirm that the papers were valid.

Liesl smirked as she revealed that all of the charges against her had been dropped and her record cleared, but Britt insisted that it didn't make sense for the board to hire her mother. The board member explained that they believed that Liesl had a "unique skill set" that could help grow the hospital's brand. Liesl assured everyone that she looked forward to working with them, but Patrick made it clear that he refused to work with Liesl. Patrick assured the board member that there would be a mass exodus when the rest of the hospital's staff learned about the board's decision.

Liesl reminded Patrick that he had signed a contract, as had Silas and Britt, so they couldn't walk out. Robin refused to be a part of the farce, so she tore up the documents that the board member had handed her and then walked out. Liesl assured Robin that Robin's job would be waiting when Robin had a change of heart, but Robin ignored Liesl.

Patrick caught up with Robin. Robin was upset because she was certain that Liesl intended to use Patrick's contract to make him a puppet. Patrick insisted that he wasn't anyone's puppet, except Robin's. Robin argued that Liesl would do the same thing to Patrick that Britt had tried to do with the baby, but Patrick promised Robin that he would not let Liesl get one over on him. Robin calmed down when Patrick suggested that they call Robert and Anna to figure things out.

At the nurses' station, Sabrina begged Felix not to let anyone find out about her secret, so Felix reluctantly assured her that he wouldn't tell anyone that Patrick, not Carlos, was the baby's father. Elizabeth was stunned when she overheard what Felix had said, so she cleared her throat and asked what they had been talking about. Sabrina nervously claimed that she and Felix had been gossiping about who the board had selected to be the new chief of staff. Sabrina revealed that the candidates were in the conference room, but Elizabeth cut Sabrina off to let Sabrina know that she had overheard what Sabrina and Felix had said.

Sabrina immediately implored Elizabeth not to tell Patrick, but Elizabeth couldn't understand how Sabrina could lie to the man that Sabrina had claimed to love. Sabrina insisted that it was in everyone's best interest for Patrick to believe that Carlos was the father of Sabrina's baby. Elizabeth argued that she couldn't keep the truth from Patrick because he was one of her best friends. Sabrina pointed out that Robin was one of Elizabeth's best friends, too, so she urged Elizabeth to think about what it would do to Robin.

Sabrina explained that Patrick would want to do the right thing because Sabrina had lived through it when Britt had claimed to be pregnant with Patrick's baby. Elizabeth insisted that the situations had been different because Britt had lied about the baby's paternity. Sabrina countered that the end result would be the same; Sabrina's pregnancy would cause a rift between Patrick and Robin that might not heal. Elizabeth argued that perhaps Patrick and Robin would behave like grownups, accept the situation, and learn to live with it. Sabrina begged Elizabeth to help her stop the pain by not letting Patrick know that Patrick, not Carlos, was the baby's father. Elizabeth looked past Sabrina as Patrick and Robin walked up.

1/22 Sabrina explained to Elizabeth that everyone had suffered enough, so she begged Elizabeth to help spare Patrick and Robin additional pain by not revealing that Sabrina was pregnant with Patrick's baby. Elizabeth looked past Sabrina's shoulder as Patrick and Robin walked up. Sabrina's eyes rounded with surprise when she saw the Drakes, so she made a silent appeal to Elizabeth to not say anything. Elizabeth quietly told Patrick that she needed to tell him something, but Patrick and Robin cut Elizabeth off to assure Elizabeth that they already knew that Liesl Obrecht had been hired as the new chief of staff.

Elizabeth, Felix, and Sabrina were shocked and couldn't understand how Liesl had managed to get released from jail and land a job with the hospital. Patrick and Robin quickly filled them in on what had transpired in the conference room. Robin admitted that she was grateful that she hadn't signed a contract with the hospital, while Felix realized that life as they knew it was over. Patrick realized that Elizabeth, Felix, and Sabrina hadn't known about Liesl so he was curious what Elizabeth had wanted to talk to him about. Robin glanced down to check her phone as Elizabeth tried to find the right words to tell Patrick that he was the father of Sabrina's baby. However, Robin quickly interrupted to let Patrick know that Anna wanted to see Patrick and Robin right away.

At the police station, Patrick and Robin arrived to meet Anna. Anna revealed that she had disturbing information to pass along, but Robin admitted that she and Patrick already knew that Liesl Obrecht had been set free. Anna apologized to her daughter because Anna blamed herself for Liesl's freedom. Anna explained that she had known that Liesl's attorney had arranged a meeting with the World Security Bureau, but Anna had assumed that justice would be served. Robin insisted that Anna was not responsible for the WSB striking a deal with Liesl, but Anna regretted that she hadn't made certain that Liesl had been buried behind bars in a maximum-security facility. Anna admitted that she would have personally taken Liesl down if she had known what the WSB had set Liesl free. "Like mother, like daughter," Patrick said with a smile.

Robin and Patrick told Anna about the meeting at the hospital when the chairman of the board had announced that Liesl had been hired as the new chief of staff. Anna was stunned and asked if Robin was okay. Robin admitted that she was frustrated because Patrick had been locked into a contract, but Patrick quickly added that he intended to have an attorney find a way to nullify the contract. Anna couldn't believe that a respected hospital like General Hospital had hired Liesl, so Patrick explained that he and Robin had hoped that Anna could find out why.

Anna revealed that Frisco was working to get some answers, but it was clear that the order to release Liesl had been approved by someone high up in the WSB. Patrick pointed out that the WSB apprehended criminals, so Anna explained that Liesl had obviously traded valuable information. Robin wondered what it could be. Anna had no idea, but she suspected that it had been extremely important and would impact many lives.

Outside of Wyndemere’s stables, Cameron, Emma, and Spencer were startled when they heard Carly cry out for help. Emma became frightened, so Spencer assured her that he would protect both her and Cam. Spencer wrapped his arms around his two companions but then suggested that they fetch Nikolas. Cam wondered if Spencer was afraid, but Spencer denied it, so Cam challenged Spencer to prove it by checking out the stables.

Spencer straightened his back and then entered the stables. After several minutes, Emma began to worry because Spencer hadn't returned. Cam suggested that they go inside to look for Spencer, so Cam and Emma entered the stables. They found Spencer standing in front of Heather with his stick pointed threateningly at Heather. Spencer demanded to know who Heather was and why she was on his property. Heather suggested that Spencer put the stick down so they could talk, but Spencer refused. Emma ordered Heather to start talking, so Heather claimed that a chupacabra was in the stable. The children wondered what a chupacabra was so Heather explained that it was a creature that was a cross between a coyote, a bear, and a monster. According to Heather, chupacabras lived on the blood of horses and children, so she urged the children to leave before the creature spotted them.

Emma was frightened, but Spencer pointed out that Heather had evaded his question, so he demanded to know who Heather was. Heather claimed that she was the stable girl. Spencer didn't believe Heather because he insisted that there wasn't any such thing. Emma disagreed and informed Spencer that girls could do the same jobs that boys could. "Girl power," Emma added as she raised her fist into the air. "Right on, sister," Heather replied as she raised her own fist in solidarity. Spencer pointed out that if Heather worked for his father then she also worked for Spencer. Cam wondered if Spencer could be any more of a jerk, but Heather agreed that "Mr. Cassadine" was right. Heather was curious if there was something that she could do for Spencer, so he explained that Cam needed a stick because Spencer and Cam intended to duel for Emma. Spencer started for the tack room, unaware that Carly was hidden in the room.

Heather quickly blocked Spencer's path and then turned to Emma to ask if Emma was willing to let the boys decide who got Emma without Emma having any say in the matter. Emma admitted that she couldn't choose because she liked both Cam and Spencer. Heather explained that going with the boy who was bigger, stronger, and more violent was not girl power. Emma agreed, so Emma informed the boys that she wouldn't date either boy if they dueled. Frustrated, Spencer wondered how he could win Emma's favor, so Heather advised the boys to be creative. Cam, Emma, and Spencer were startled when they heard a loud noise in the tack room, so Heather warned the children that it was the chupacabra. Heather made the children promise not to tell Nikolas about the incident in the stables because Heather claimed that she didn't want to lose her job. After the children agreed to keep quiet, Heather urged them to flee while she dealt with the chupacabra.

1/30 At the Drake residence, Robin tried to get Emma to eat some breakfast, but Emma was busy looking up something on the Internet. Robin helped Patrick select a tie for work as Emma asked how to spell Chupacabra. Patrick confessed that he had no idea what a Chupacabra was, but he was willing to give it a try. With Robin and Patrick's help, Emma figured out the spelling by slowly sounding out the word.

Moments later, the doorbell rang heralding Robert's arrival. Robin greeted her father as Emma ran to give Robert a hug. Robin was disappointed when Robert announced that he had stopped by to say goodbye because he was headed out of town. Robin reminded Robert that they had just reunited and were finally together as a family, but Robert explained that it was important because Holly had called to ask for his help with Ethan. Robin was curious why Luke couldn't go to Ethan's aid, so Robert admitted that Luke had dropped out of sight.

Robert admitted that he wanted to help because Holly had stayed by his side while he had lingered in a coma. Robin reluctantly accepted his decision, so Robert asked Patrick to keep a close eye on Liesl Obrecht because Robert had questions about the deal that Liesl had cut with the World Security Bureau. Next, Robert sat Emma on his knee to offer her some advice about the boys that she liked. Robert suggested that Emma not rush into anything and instead wait until one of the boys performed an act of chivalry. Emma smiled and agreed.

A short time later, Robert and Emma were each playing a didgeridoo when Mac arrived to take his brother to the airport. Robert grumbled that there was plenty of time, but Mac disagreed because Robert had been booked on an international flight. Robin sadly realized that it was time to say goodbye, but Robert reminded her that there were two things that Scorpios never said. "Never say die and never say goodbye," Robert told her. "We say till next time," Emma added with a smile. Robin needed more than that from her father, so she asked Robert to promise that he would stay safe and return home. Robert assured Robin that it was a promise that he could easily keep. Robert then reminded his daughter that a part of him would always remain with her. Robin's eyes welled up with tears as her father hugged her and then gave her a quick kiss before following Mac out the door.

Later, Emma was shocked to read on the computer that a chupacabra was from Sabrina's birthplace, Puerto Rico. Emma quickly persuaded Robin to adjust their afternoon plans to include a trip to the hospital to drop off Patrick.

At the Drake residence, Robin arrived home and noticed that the front door was ajar. She opened the door to scan the living room but decided to call the police rather than enter the house. Robin started to dial the number on her cell phone when a mystery person grabbed her from behind and pulled her into the house.

1/31 Patrick gave Emma a piggyback ride as he approached the nurses' station. He confessed that he was happy to spend the day with Emma, but he reminded her that they had to keep their promise to Robin and avoid Liesl Obrecht. Emma looked up as Liesl approached Patrick from behind and then greeted them each with a saccharine smile. Emma dashed behind her father and clung to his leg as Liesl admitted that she would recognize Emma anywhere because Emma looked like Robin. Liesl offered Emma a lime-flavored lollipop, but Emma scowled. "Witch, please," Emma snapped. Liesl was taken aback by Emma's rudeness and suggested that Patrick discipline his daughter. Patrick warned Liesl to stay away from Emma, so Liesl pointed out that he shouldn't take his daughter to work if he didn't want Emma around Liesl.

Emma spotted Sabrina and ran to greet her. Liesl demanded to know why Sabrina had been three minutes late, so Sabrina carefully explained that she hadn't felt well. Emma was shocked when Liesl attributed Sabrina's bout of illness to Sabrina's pregnancy. Sabrina resented Liesl keeping tabs on Sabrina's private life, but Liesl argued that Sabrina shouldn't see an OBGYN during "office" hours. Liesl advised Sabrina to find a doctor with more accommodating hours and suggested that Sabrina consider going to Britt. Sabrina immediately rejected the idea, so Liesl shrugged and conceded that it was up to the mother. Patrick was furious when Liesl smiled innocently and speculated that he was the father of Sabrina's baby. Emma wondered if it was true, so Patrick asked Sabrina to take Emma away.

Patrick waited until Emma was out of sight and then blasted Liesl for talking about a personal matter in front of his daughter. Patrick made it clear that his private life didn't concern Liesl and then admitted that he couldn't understand why the World Security Bureau had set her free. Liesl revealed that she had provided the WSB with the most valuable commodity of all -- information. Patrick insisted that Liesl was worse than Heather Webber and Franco combined, yet mother and son were behind bars, so he couldn't imagine what kind of information Liesl had possessed that would persuade the WSB to release her. Liesl became distracted when she spotted her daughter, so she demanded to know why Britt was late. Britt greeted her mother and blamed her tardiness on Elizabeth. Liesl made it clear that Britt was to address her as either Dr. Obrecht or Chief Obrecht while they were at work and then complained that it was unbecoming to blame others.

Frustrated, Britt explained that she had fallen into the harbor. Liesl was disgusted and wondered if Britt would next cry that the dog had eaten her homework. Britt apologized to Patrick because he had to deal with her mother, but he felt bad that Britt had been stuck growing up with Liesl. Liesl explained that Patrick was in a sour mood because he had been cheated out of a child once again. Britt was stunned when Liesl revealed that Sabrina was pregnant, but Patrick quickly clarified that the baby wasn't his. Britt wondered how Patrick had handled the news, so he confessed that he had been both relieved and disappointed. Britt admitted that she was sorry, but Patrick shrugged. "It is what it is," Patrick said as he walked away.

Nearby, Patrick called Robin, but the call went to voicemail.

In an examination room, Emma asked Sabrina about the baby's father. Sabrina claimed that Sabrina's friend, Carlos, was the father and that Sabrina had known him since they were children in Puerto Rico. Emma perked up because she wanted information about chupacabras, which was why she had asked to go to the hospital. Sabrina explained that chupacabras weren't real, but Emma disagreed and decided to prove it. Emma ducked down behind the examination table to pull something out of her backpack. Seconds later, Elizabeth entered the room. Sabrina tried to warn Elizabeth that they were not alone, but Elizabeth didn't notice as she implored Sabrina to tell Patrick that he was the baby's father. Elizabeth tensed when she saw Emma stand up and look at Sabrina with confusion.

At the Drake residence, an armed gunman and his partner hauled Robin into her house. Robin assumed that the men were there to rob her, so she invited them to take what they wanted and leave before her family returned. The men ordered her to sit and explained that they weren't there to steal anything. Robin demanded to know who they were, but a third man entered the house and then calmly made his way to a chair as he revealed that the two men worked for him.

Victor Cassadine introduced himself, but Robin had no idea who he was. Victor wasn't surprised because he had been incarcerated for a long time. However, he was confident that she knew his great-nephew, Nikolas, very well. Robin admitted that Nikolas was one of her best friends, so Victor revealed that Nikolas' grandfather, Mikkos, had been Victor's brother. Victor explained that he had business with Robin that pertained to the WSB, but Robin quickly clarified that she wasn't affiliated with the WSB. "But I am. I'm its new director," Victor revealed and then admitted that his appointment had been a well-guarded secret from people like Robert and Frisco. Robin realized that Victor had set Liesl free and demanded to know why.

According to Victor, Jerry Jacks and Liesl had commandeered Cassadine Island prior to Robin's stay there. Robin clarified that she had been a captive, not a guest. Victor smiled politely and continued his story. He revealed that Liesl had provided him with information about the lab's previous inhabitants because Liesl had known that Victor had been keenly interested in the people. Robin's curiosity was piqued, so Victor pulled out a photograph and set it on the table.

"To start with, my brother's wife," Victor explained as Robin looked at the picture of Helena. Victor revealed that Helena's body had been taken to the lab on Cassadine Island after the shooting on the Haunted Star. Victor set a second photograph on the table as he credited his nephew, Stavros, for making the arrangements. Robin pointed out that both Helena and Stavros were dead, but Victor assured Robin that they were no more dead than Robin was. "And you are going to bring them back," Victor explained.

2/3 Elizabeth walked into an examining room at General Hospital and started apologizing to Sabrina and talking about Patrick's baby. Emma, who was on the floor, looking for a place to plug in her computer, overheard. Elizabeth covered quickly and assured Emma that Carlos was the baby's father and that Emma had misunderstood. Privately Sabrina told Elizabeth that she hated lying to both Patrick and Emma. Sabrina wondered if she was doing the correct thing by keeping the news of her baby from both Emma and Patrick.

When Sabrina mentioned Britt, Emma said that she had not wanted Patrick to have Britt's baby because she did not like Britt, but it would be different if Sabrina were having Patrick's baby because Emma loved Sabrina. Sabrina had tears in her eyes.

Emma went back to talking about the chupacabra. When Sabrina told her that it was imaginary, Emma insisted that it was real and that she had seen it in the Wyndemere stables with the woman who worked there. As Emma packed up to leave, she told Sabrina that she was glad that Sabrina was not a liar like Britt had been.

Britt caught up with Patrick at the nurses' station. She apologized to Patrick for what she had put him through. She explained that she knew a lot more since she had become a mother. Patrick complimented Britt on what a good mother she had become. They agreed to let bygones be bygones and move forward. After Britt left to attend patients, Patrick tried to phone Robin but got no answer.

Sabrina found Patrick and told him that Emma was on the way to look at babies with Elizabeth. Sabrina then told Patrick that she had lied. Sabrina revealed that Patrick, not Carlos, was the father of her baby.

Victor Cassadine visited with Robin at home and told her that he was looking for a top scientist to help him resurrect Helena and Stephan, whose brains and bodies were perfectly preserved. Robin said, "No way," but Victor said that he would make her an offer she could not resist.

When Uncle Mac knocked on the door, Victor and his WSB henchmen hid. Mac told Robin that Robert had given him a gift -- a good luck charm -- to give to Robin. Robin was touched that Robert had given her a small silver frog charm on a chain necklace. After Mac left, Robin asked Victor why he thought that she would voluntarily help him revive Helena and Stephan. Victor said because they had a friend of hers on ice also. When Robin asked who it was, Victor showed her a photo of Jason.

2/4 At the nurses' station, Sabrina confessed to Patrick that she had lied to him when she had claimed that her baby's father was Carlos. "It's yours," Sabrina admitted. Patrick was stunned. "What did you say?" Patrick asked.

"Patrick, you are my baby's father," Sabrina tearfully revealed. Sabrina explained that she had never slept with Carlos, so Patrick demanded to know why she had lied. Sabrina reminded Patrick that he had made his choice, and it hadn't been her. Stunned, Patrick couldn't believe that Sabrina had lied to punish him for choosing Robin.

Sabrina rushed to assure Patrick that she had understood why he had decided to go back to his wife, but Sabrina had kept quiet about the baby's paternity because Sabrina hadn't wanted to be like Britt and use the baby against Patrick. Sabrina had also been reluctant to make things more difficult for Patrick and Robin. Patrick was curious if Sabrina had ever intended to tell him about the baby, so Sabrina confessed that she had planned to leave town without ever telling him. Patrick was hurt that Sabrina would do that to him.

Sabrina insisted that she had thought it would be best for everyone. Patrick wanted to know what had changed her mind. "Emma," Sabrina answered. Sabrina revealed that Emma had overheard Elizabeth urge Sabrina to tell Patrick the truth, and it had made Sabrina realize that the lie had gotten out of hand.

The silence stretched until Sabrina nervously asked Patrick to say something. Patrick was curious what she wanted him to say because he had no idea what to believe after being told so many lies about babies in recent months. Sabrina insisted that she would never lie to him about being the baby's father because she knew how much Britt's lie had hurt him. Patrick pointed out that Sabrina had been willing to lie to keep the baby from him, but Sabrina argued that she hadn't been able to keep the lie going. She assured him that she was deeply sorry, but Emma ran up to greet her father before Patrick could reply.

Patrick quietly took Emma's backpack from Elizabeth as he explained that he and Emma needed to get home to Robin and then left. Sabrina's eyes filled with tears as she revealed that she had told Patrick the truth about the baby. Elizabeth was curious how Patrick had taken the news. Sabrina admitted that Patrick had been shocked. However, Sabrina was worried how Robin would take the news.

At the Drake residence, Victor showed Robin a picture of Jason, but Robin insisted that Jason was dead. Victor pointed out that there had been a time when everyone had said the same thing about Robin, yet she was alive and back with her family and friends. Victor advised Robin to listen carefully if she valued her friendship with Jason, but Robin refused to allow Victor to manipulate her by exploiting her memories of Jason.

Victor explained that Jason had been reportedly shot to death by Faison, who had been wearing a prosthetic mask of Duke Lavery at the time. Victor revealed that Faison had kicked Jason's body into the harbor, but Faison's men had fished Jason's body out of the water. According to Victor, Faison had needed to get Jason out of the way to seize control of Sonny's territory. However, Faison had realized that Jason could be an asset in the future.

Robin demanded to know where Jason was. Victor explained that Jason had been taken to the same clinic in Switzerland where Duke Lavery had been kept. Stunned, Robin realized that Jason had supposedly been in the clinic at the same time that she had been there, but she quickly pointed out that the clinic had been thoroughly searched.

Victor confessed that Stavros had been recuperating at the same clinic since 2001, so Liesl Obrecht had been forced to quickly remove the most valuable patients when Robin's parents had arrived to rescue Duke and search the clinic. According to Victor, Liesl had made arrangements for Helena to take Stavros and Jason, while Liesl had handed Robin over to Jerry Jaxs. Victor explained that Stavros and Jason had been transferred to Cassadine Island and that Jason, who had been recovering from the near-fatal gunshot wound, had been put into a cryogenic sleep.

Robin was certain that Victor had simply told her what she had wanted to hear, but Victor assured her that it was the truth. However, Helena and Stavros had ended up in a state similar to Jason's. Victor promised Robin that she would be saving Jason if she helped Helena and Stavros. Robin demanded proof that Jason was in suspended animation. Victor agreed, but one of his men signaled Victor that it was time to leave.

Victor realized that Patrick and Emma were on their way home, so he agreed to give Robin the proof she had requested when at their next meeting. He warned her not to tell anyone anything about what he had told her, or her opportunity to save Jason would vanish. Victor handed Robin the photograph of Jason and then left.

Robin looked at the picture as she told Jason that, with the exception of her parents, the WSB was filled with a bunch of deceitful people and that Nikolas was the only Cassadine who could be trusted. Robin was certain that Victor was trying to manipulate her, but she also knew that Jason would do everything to survive if he had been alive when he had hit the water. Robin realized that as impossible as it might sound, Jason could be alive.

Moments later, Patrick and Emma arrived home. After Emma greeted her mother, Patrick asked Emma to get ready for bed. Patrick waited unto Emma left to room and then revealed that he had something to tell Robin.

2/5 At the Drake residence, Robin was shocked when Patrick confessed that he was the father of Sabrina's baby. Patrick explained that Carlos had lied and that Sabrina had gone along with it because family was important to Sabrina, and Sabrina had respected Patrick and Robin's marriage.

Patrick revealed that Sabrina and Emma had bonded because Sabrina had lost her own mother when Sabrina had been a young girl. According to Patrick, Sabrina hadn't wanted to use the baby to insert herself between Patrick and Robin the way that Britt had inserted herself between Patrick and Sabrina. Patrick admitted that he wasn't happy about the pregnancy because he had hoped that he and Robin could have a fresh start.

Robin confessed that she didn't blame Sabrina because Sabrina had thought that Sabrina and Patrick would be married, and it was clear that Sabrina had tried to protect Patrick. Patrick sensed that Robin had some questions, so she confessed that she was curious how Patrick felt knowing that the woman he had intended to marry was pregnant with his child.

Patrick admitted that he had no idea what to think because he had been told so many lies about babies in recent months. Robin reminded Patrick that he had recently suggested that they have another baby, but Patrick rushed to assure his wife that he understood and respected Robin's decision to wait. Patrick kicked the coffee table in a sudden burst of frustration because he had hoped that he and Robin would get five minutes of normalcy after everything that they had been through.

Patrick quickly apologized for knocking the coffee table over and bent to pick up the scattered items. He was startled when he saw a picture of Jason on the floor. Robin claimed that she had been looking at the photograph because she hadn't had a chance to say goodbye to Jason. Patrick appreciated that Robin had cared deeply for her friend, so he handed the picture to Robin and decided to check on Emma. After Patrick left the room, Robin quietly admitted that she still cared about Jason.

Moments later, Patrick returned to report that their daughter had fallen asleep. Robin was curious if Emma knew about the baby, so Patrick assured Robin that he hadn't told Emma. Robin realized that Emma had been through a lot lately, but she warned Patrick that they would have to break the news to their daughter soon.

2/6 At Wyndemere, Victor spoke to an associate on the phone and instructed the person to let Victor know when Robin was alone. Victor assured the associate that no one knew the real reason that Victor was in Port Charles and then ended the call.

Moments later, Spencer walked up. Victor introduced himself as Spencer's "great-great uncle," prompting Spencer to wonder what was so great about Victor. "Well, I suppose a lot of things, I hope," Victor said with a smile as he reached into his jacket pocket to retrieve a small jeweled Fabergé egg. Spencer wasn't impressed because there were a lot of similar eggs around the castle. Victor explained that the small egg was different because it had the power to win hearts. Victor instructed Spencer to keep the egg until Spencer met the girl of Spencer's dreams and then present it to her because the egg would win the girl's heart. Spencer took the egg as he revealed that he had already met the girl of his dreams.

Moments later, Spencer and Victor entered the parlor. Spencer showed his father the jeweled egg that Victor had given to Spencer. Nikolas was curious if it was one of the Cassadine family heirlooms. "Of course," Victor replied. Britt was stunned because the Fabergé egg was worth a fortune. Victor insisted that Spencer was a Cassadine and deserved only the best, so Spencer quickly added that Emma did too. Nikolas changed the subject by inviting Victor to join them for breakfast, but Victor received a text message and announced that he had to leave.

At the Drake residence, Robin looked at the picture of Jason as she wondered if Victor's claim that Jason was alive could possibly be true. She quickly tucked the picture away as Patrick and Emma entered the living room. Patrick announced that Emma had miraculously agreed to wear the second uniform choice, which meant that Emma would have time to eat breakfast. Emma denied that she was that difficult, but Robin and Patrick disagreed.

Patrick handed his wife a cup of coffee and quietly asked how Robin had slept. "Fine," Robin answered, but Patrick knew better because he had heard her tossing and turning all night. Patrick was curious if it had anything to do with Sabrina's pregnancy, so Robin pointed out that it had been a lot to take in. Patrick agreed, but he promised Robin that they would get through it as long as they were completely honest with each other. Emma interrupted her parents' conversation by asking if she could go to work with Patrick.

Emma was disappointed when Patrick reminded Emma that Emma had to go to school. Robin added that school was important, but Emma didn't care because she wanted to see the babies again. Patrick tensed when Emma suddenly asked if Robin had heard that Sabrina and Carlos were expecting a baby. Robin smiled and nodded, but Patrick seized the opportunity to hustle Emma out the door.

Later, Robin prepared to leave but stopped short when she opened the door and saw Victor, flanked by two guards, standing on her doorstep. Victor was curious if she had given his proposition any consideration. Robin sarcastically assured him that she hadn't been able to stop thinking about reviving Helena and Stavros, but then sobered and demanded that Victor provide her with the proof that he had promised. Victor pulled a DVD out of his jacket pocket and put it into a laptop for her to watch.

Afterwards, Robin sat on the sofa in stunned disbelief. Victor smugly asked if she believed him, but Robin suggested that the footage could have been doctored. Victor was confident that Robin knew that it was real. "Let's say I do. What happens now?" Robin asked.

Victor explained that she would be taken to an undisclosed location to begin her work. "For how long?" Robin wondered. "For as long as it takes," Victor answered. However, he made it clear that she couldn't tell anyone where she was going or reveal what she was doing, not even to her family. Robin objected because she had just been reunited with her family after two years.

Victor accepted her decision, but he warned her that Jason Morgan would remain in suspended animation until someone cared enough to revive him. Robin explained that even if she were to agree, she couldn't give her husband and daughter a plausible reason for leaving. Victor was confident that Robin would figure something out because he knew that every marriage had its problems. He advised her to make her mind up soon because the clock was ticking.

Meanwhile, Spencer approached the Drake residence with his driver trailing behind. The driver reminded Spencer that Spencer had to get to school, but Spencer insisted that he would just be a minute. The driver reluctantly agreed to wait in the car, so Spencer walked up to the porch and pulled out the Fabergé egg and a card from his backpack. Spencer prepared to leave it for Emma, but was startled when he looked through the window and saw Victor and Robin talking.

Spencer quickly ducked out of sight as Victor left the house. On the porch, Victor told his men that he had to get back to Spoon Island before someone spotted him at the Drake residence. After Victor walked away, Spencer popped up from behind some bushes and watched his uncle leave.

At the hospital, Sabrina bumped into Patrick. She immediately apologized for not watching where she had been going, but Patrick assured her that it was okay and attributed it to what Robin had called "pregnancy brain."

Sabrina noticed that Patrick had suddenly grown quiet, so she assured him that it was okay for him to talk about Robin. Patrick tactfully changed the subject by asking how Sabrina had been doing. Sabrina told him that she had broken the news to Carlos that Carlos would not be raising Patrick's baby. She was curious if Patrick had told Robin about the baby, so Patrick revealed that he had talked to his wife about it the previous evening and that Robin had been understandably shocked.

Sabrina apologized, but Patrick assured Sabrina that she was not to blame. Sabrina insisted that she didn't want their child to get between Patrick and Robin. "It's not me," Sabrina explained. "It's Britt," she added. Patrick conceded that he had no idea how things would turn out, but he promised to be there for Sabrina and the baby, so she had his full support.

2/10 Emma asked Robin why she had sounded sad on the phone, but Robin played it off as work-related. Elizabeth and Cameron joined them. Emma and Cameron went off to sled while Elizabeth and Robin laughed about how excited Cameron had been about his "date" with Emma and his worries about his competition for Emma's heart. Elizabeth noticed that Robin was distracted. Robin said that she was thinking about the future. Robin left to get hot chocolate while Elizabeth checked on the children.

Spencer and Victor joined Emma and Cameron. Victor sat down with the paper, and Spencer gloated as he gave Emma the Fabergé egg as a Valentine's present. Victor was shocked when he saw a picture of Heather and remembered the confrontation he had had with her at Wyndemere. He took the photo to Spencer and asked if he recognized Heather. The children recognized her as the stable girl. Victor left the paper and told the kids that he had to find Nikolas.

Franco emerged from hiding. Spencer, Emma, and Cameron recognized him and backed away. When Franco asked what was wrong, they said that Franco was a psycho. Franco asked nicely about Heather and the children babbled about Wyndemere, the stables, the chupacabra that screamed like a real person, and the underground catacombs. Franco thanked the children and took off.

Returning with hot chocolate for all, Robin met up with T.J. and Molly, who were on an outing with Danny. Molly introduced Danny as Jason's son. Robin cuddled the baby. Eventually, Robin learned the whole story about Franco and how Jason had died before learning that Danny was his biological son. Robin became very thoughtful when Molly gushed about what a wonderful dad Jason would have been, and T.J. said that it was a shame that Danny would grow up without a father.

Robin ran into Victor, who was distracted. She accused him of stalking her, but he said he was in the park with family. Robin said that she had made her decision. Robin told Victor that she was in.

2/17 At the Drake residence, Robin quickly tucked a picture of Jason away when Patrick arrived home. Patrick greeted his wife and asked why she wasn't ready for their Valentine's Day date. Robin confessed that she wasn't in the mood to celebrate, so Patrick was curious what was troubling her. He was shocked when Robin announced that she would be leaving Port Charles.

According to Robin, AMFAR had reached out to her to ask her to continue her AIDS work in Africa. Patrick was curious how long Robin would be gone, so she admitted that it would be an open-ended trip. Stunned, Patrick demanded to know what was really going on. Robin calmly conceded that her trip was unexpected, but she explained that it would allow her to make a difference in people's lives. Patrick was not satisfied because he knew that Robin wouldn't leave her family without a good reason, especially since she had just returned from a two-year absence.

Robin appeared to wrestle with her conscience, but then claimed that she needed to leave town because she feared that Liesl would retaliate for Faison's arrest by targeting Patrick and Emma. Patrick suggested that they talk to Anna and the World Security Bureau, but Robin immediately objected because the WSB had allowed Liesl to walk free. Robin insisted that it would be best for everyone if she simply disappeared until she was certain that it was safe to return. Patrick insisted that he and Emma leave with Robin, but Robin refused to uproot Emma and take her daughter away from Emma's support system including Anna and Elizabeth.

Patrick would not be swayed, prompting Robin to remind him of his baby with Sabrina. Patrick explained that he could travel back and forth to visit the baby, but Robin argued that it wouldn't be fair to the baby. Patrick made it clear that he would not allow the baby to dictate what happened to their family, so Robin quietly confessed that she no longer felt like she was a part of Patrick and Emma's family. According to Robin, something inside her had changed. Patrick didn't believe Robin because he was certain that Robin had been happy since Christmas.

Robin claimed that she had been faking it for Patrick and Emma's sake, but she could no longer continue the farce. Patrick suggested that Robin suffered from posttraumatic stress and urged her to consider therapy, but Robin rejected the idea and insisted that the only solution was for her to leave town. Patrick made it clear that he refused to let her walk away without a fight, so Robin pleaded with Patrick to trust her. Patrick countered by begging Robin to tell him what was really going on because nothing that she had said had made sense to him.

2/18 At the Drake residence, Patrick demanded to know what was really going on because Robin kept jumping from one excuse to another to explain why she intended to abandon her family. Patrick insisted that none of it had made sense and suggested that Robin suffered from posttraumatic stress. Robin assured him that she didn't have PTSD, so Patrick begged her to tell him the real reason that she was determined to leave town. "I'm doing this because of Jason," Robin confessed.

Robin explained that she couldn't tell Patrick anything else, but he wasn't satisfied. He wanted to know what Jason's death had to do with Robin leaving town, so she revealed that Jason wasn't dead. Robin tearfully apologized for lying to Patrick and then told him about Victor's request and the opportunity to return Jason to Sam and Danny. However, she conceded that she would have to leave Patrick and Emma behind to do it. Patrick was outraged that Robin would go along with Victor's plans even though Victor couldn't be trusted.

Robin revealed that Victor had provided her with proof that Jason was alive but lingered in a cryogenic stasis. She insisted that she didn't have a choice except to leave town if she wanted to save Jason, but Patrick disagreed and pointed out that Robin could stay with her family instead of running off on an adventure. Robin argued that it wasn't an adventure because her friend's life was hanging in the balance.

Patrick was furious that Robin had intended to abandon her family without an explanation and put their daughter through that kind of heartbreak again. "What about Jason's child?" Robin asked. Patrick confessed that he didn't care if Danny grew up without Jason. He only cared about their daughter who had spent two years grieving for Robin. Patrick was curious if Robin intended to tell Emma that Jason's son was more important than Emma.

Robin insisted that Patrick was being unfair and begged Patrick to try to understand what Jason meant to her. Patrick assured Robin that he understood that Jason was the most important person in the world to Robin even though Jason had been a gangster. Robin reminded Patrick that she wouldn't have met Patrick or had a child with him if it hadn't been for Jason because Jason had saved her life. Patrick argued that the medications had saved Robin's life, but Robin argued that Jason had been the one to convince her to take forty pills a day when there hadn't been any guarantee that the drug cocktail would work.

Patrick assured Robin that he was grateful that Jason had been there for Robin when Robin had discovered that she was HIV positive, but Patrick insisted that there were limits to what Robin was expected to do to repay Jason. Robin reminded Patrick that Jason would die if she didn't help, but Patrick was unmoved. Patrick accused Robin of putting Jason before her own family and then reminded her that it hadn't been the first time. Patrick pointed out that it had been two years to the day that Robin had decided to sacrifice her life to save Jason by entering the lab to obtain a cure for Jason. He was curious how long Robin intended to be gone this time.

Robin reminded Patrick that she had been a prisoner and that she had hoped and prayed that someone would find her, knowing that no one would. Patrick argued that they had believed that she had died in the lab explosion. Robin pointed out that everyone believed that Jason was dead, too, so Jason was in the same situation that she had been in except Jason was immobilized. Robin explained that she couldn't live with herself if she left Jason to a fate like that. Patrick argued that she would be leaving him and Emma behind.

Robin countered that she needed to save Jason for Sam, Danny, and because Jason deserved to live. Patrick disagreed, but Robin insisted that Jason would do the same for her. She added that Jason had never let her down. "And I have," Patrick replied. Robin assured Patrick that she loved him and Emma, so Patrick ordered her to say no to Victor. Robin watched helplessly as Patrick stormed out of the house.

2/19 In the hospital, Patrick listened to a voicemail message from Robin and then put his phone away as Lucy approached and greeted him. She was eager to meet with the 2014 Nurses Ball planning committee, but she suggested that she and Patrick show a united front to keep those holding the purse strings from cutting their budget. However, she had good news because the people from AMFAR had reached out to her and had promised to help ensure that the upcoming Nurses Ball was the best one ever.

Lucy was curious when Robin would be joining them, so Patrick revealed that Robin wouldn't be around for the Nurses Ball. Lucy feared that Robin had become sick but Patrick quickly assured Lucy that Robin was healthy. Confused, Lucy wondered what would prevent Robin from participating in the Nurses Ball. Patrick suggested that Lucy talk to Robin. Lucy realized from Patrick's tone that there was trouble between Patrick and Robin and assumed that it had something to do with Sabrina's pregnancy.

Lucy urged Patrick not to let things get "awkward" between Patrick and Robin. She confided that she and Kevin had had their fair share of rough patches but they had always loved each other deep down inside and hadn't allowed their problems to consume them. Lucy began to cryptically ramble about her problems with Kevin and made some veiled references to her affair with Scott, prompting Patrick to ask who she was talking about. "No one," Lucy quickly replied and then assured Patrick that if he and Robin worked through their problems, they could emerge on the other side, stronger. Patrick hoped that Lucy was right.

At the Drake residence, Robin left Patrick a voicemail message imploring him to return her call because she was worried about him and needed to know that he was okay. After the call, Robin picked up her keys and prepared to track her husband down, but she opened the door and saw Elizabeth standing on the porch. Elizabeth offered to return at a more convenient time, but Robin invited her friend inside and asked what was going on. Elizabeth revealed that Nikolas had proposed to Britt.

Elizabeth told Robin about the discovery that Dante was Ben's father and Britt's claim that Britt hadn't known the truth about Ben's paternity because Liesl had handled everything. Elizabeth admitted that she didn't believe Britt and worried that Nikolas would get hurt because Nikolas refused to see what a terrible person Britt was. Robin wondered if Elizabeth objected to Nikolas marrying Britt because Elizabeth was still in love with Nikolas.

Elizabeth was curious why Robin would ask that, so Robin reminded her friend that Nikolas and Elizabeth had sacrificed a lot to be together a few years earlier. Elizabeth pointed out that their affair had been disastrous. Robin agreed but added that it wasn't too late for a second chance if that was what Elizabeth wanted. Elizabeth admitted that she did love Nikolas.

Elizabeth revealed that she had realized that she was in love with Nikolas when he had returned to town and had tried to rekindle their romance. However, she had pushed him away because she had been afraid that she and Nikolas would repeat their past mistakes. Elizabeth also pointed out that she had been involved with A.J., in part because she had identified with A.J.'s need for redemption. Elizabeth explained that Nikolas had moved on with Britt by the time that Elizabeth had walked away from A.J., so Elizabeth had missed her chance just like she had with Jason.

Robin tensed at the mention of Jason's name, but Elizabeth didn't notice. Elizabeth confided that she had hoped to expose Britt's lie in the hopes that Nikolas would realize his mistake and pick Elizabeth. Elizabeth accepted that it wouldn't happen, so she was prepared to lie in the bed that she had made. "Alone," Elizabeth added. Robin was curious if Elizabeth had considered that it might not too late.

Elizabeth pointed out that her attempt to play detective with Ben's DNA had ruined any chance that she might have had with Nikolas. Robin disagreed and confessed that Nikolas would want to know how Elizabeth felt. Robin urged her friend to go to Nikolas and talk to him.

Shortly after Elizabeth left, Patrick returned home and told Robin that they needed to talk. Patrick thought that they should tell Anna about Victor's offer.

2/20 At the Drake residence, Patrick suggested that he and Robin tell Anna about Victor's proposal, but Robin refused to involve her mother. Patrick told Robin about his talk with Lucy when Lucy had made him realize that he and Robin had been through too much together to give up without a fight. Robin assured Patrick that nothing would happen to her because she would be working in a lab, but Patrick wasn't satisfied because he had no idea how long Robin would be gone or where she would be going.

Robin appreciated Patrick's concern, but she explained that she couldn't risk Jason's life by involving Anna because Anna would start an investigation, which would tip Victor off. Patrick explained that Victor needed Robin, so it was unlikely that Victor would hurt Jason. Robin refused to go up against Victor and warned Patrick that it was entirely possible that she had made a mistake by confiding to Patrick because Victor might be listening in. Patrick stubbornly insisted that they turn to Anna for help and grabbed Robin's hand.

Patrick and Robin started to leave, but stopped short when they encountered Victor on the front porch. Victor smiled pleasantly and then entered the house as he introduced himself to Patrick. Patrick glared at Victor and cut to the chase by making it clear that Robin would not help Victor. "Oh, dear, you told your husband," Victor said to Robin. Robin wasn't fooled; she was certain that Victor had already known.

Victor was disappointed that Robin didn't understand the rules of espionage, but Robin countered that the rule was that there were no rules. Victor nodded and then confirmed that he'd had Robin under surveillance, so he knew about Patrick's plan to talk to Anna. Robin demanded to know what Victor intended to do, since she had violated the terms of their agreement. Victor assured Patrick and Robin that they were free to tell Anna, but Jason would be "toast." Patrick resented Victor threatening Robin by trying to make her choose between her family and her friend.

Victor explained that Robin had a unique set of skills that only one in a million doctors possessed, so Victor's options were limited, and he was unable to guarantee Jason's well-being without Robin's help. Furious, Patrick ordered Victor to leave. Victor complied but warned Robin that the plane would leave the following day. Victor hoped that Robin would be on it.

After Victor left, Robin confessed that she felt as if she had made a deal with the devil. Patrick insisted that Robin didn't have to go, but Robin disagreed and explained that Jason would do everything possible to save her if their roles had been reversed. Robin assured Patrick that she loved him and Emma, but she intended to be on Victor's plane when it departed because she couldn't allow Jason to die.

2/21 At the Drake residence, Robin assured Patrick that she loved him and wished with all of her heart that she could stay, but she intended to be on Victor's plane the following day because Jason's life was at stake. Frustrated, Patrick insisted that she didn't have to go. Robin explained that she wasn't leaving on a whim or going on a vacation; she was trying to save Jason's life. Patrick argued that Robin's obligation was to her husband and daughter. Robin tensed when she suddenly heard Mac clear his throat.

Mac and Emma stood in the doorway with matching expressions of concern. Robin ran over to greet her daughter and asked if Emma had enjoyed ice-skating. Emma wanted to know what her parents had been arguing about because Emma had heard her father use a bad word. Patrick immediately apologized, but Emma wanted to know why Patrick was mad. Mac picked up on the tension between Patrick and Robin, so Mac suggested that he and Emma go to the kitchen to make hot chocolate.

After Emma dutifully followed Mac to the kitchen, Robin conceded that Emma was a lot like her. Patrick agreed and then warned Robin that if she intended to leave town then she would have to break the news to both Emma and Mac. Patrick warned Robin that it would have to be believable because Mac would ask questions. Robin implored Patrick to help her, but Patrick objected to lying to their daughter. Robin respected Patrick's right not to support her decision, but she insisted that they had to present a united front to make things easier for Emma.

Moments later, Mac and Emma returned with cups of hot chocolate, so Patrick and Robin broke the news to Emma that Robin had to leave town to help sick people in Africa. Emma was devastated and begged her mother not to go, but Robin gently explained that doctors were expected to make sacrifices. Emma argued that Patrick was a doctor, too, and he didn't have to leave. Robin agreed but added that Patrick was not the kind of doctor that the people in Africa needed. Robin insisted that she couldn't allow people to die if she had the power to help them, so Emma reluctantly accepted the decision, provided that Robin wasn't gone for long.

Robin admitted that she had no idea how long she would be away. Emma's eyes filled with tears as she realized that he mother would miss the dance recital the following week. Robin quickly assured Emma that Patrick, Mac, and Anna would go, but Emma didn't care because she wanted her mother to be there. Patrick promised Emma that Robin would call and Skype, but Emma argued that it wouldn't be the same as having Robin at home.

Robin realized that it was a lot to ask of her daughter and promised Emma that she wouldn't have agreed to go if it hadn't been necessary. Emma's heart broke when Robin revealed that she would be leaving the following day. Robin watched helplessly as Emma ran out of the room in tears and Patrick followed.

Mac confessed that he didn't understand why Robin had to leave. He suspected that there was more to the story, so Robin confessed that he was right. She claimed that she had been having difficulty settling back into her life and needed time to sort things out. Mac conceded that he and Felicia had wondered if Robin had adjusted to her life since returning, but he feared that leaving was not the answer because it sounded like Robin was running away rather than dealing with her problems. Robin begged Mac to accept her decision.

Mac assured Robin that he loved her and that he would support whatever she decided. Robin was relieved and hugged her uncle. Mac reminded Robin not to forget the good luck charm that Robert had given her, so she showed Mac that she wore it on a chain around her neck. After Mac left, Patrick returned to the living room to let Robin know that Emma was still upset. Robin decided to have another talk with her daughter and went to Emma's bedroom.

2/24 At the Drake residence, Robin entered the bedroom and told Patrick that Emma had fallen asleep. She admitted that she had tried to explain repeatedly why it was necessary for her to leave town, but Emma had refused to listen because Emma didn't want Robin to leave. "That makes two of us," Patrick confessed. Patrick realized that he had to let Robin go, but he wasn't happy about it. Robin insisted that it was necessary because she couldn't allow Danny to grow up without his father, Jason.

Frustrated, Patrick offered to help Robin pack, but he admitted that he didn't know what to throw into the suitcase because they had no idea where Victor intended to take Robin. Patrick also realized that it was unlikely that Victor would allow Robin to Skype or call her family. Robin asked Patrick to stop pulling clothes out of a drawer because she didn't want to spend their last evening together packing. She explained that she would rather focus on her husband because she might not see him for a long time. Patrick was curious if Robin expected them to make love and go to sleep as if the following day would be like any other day.

Robin insisted that she just wanted to make the most of the time that she and Patrick had together before her departure. Patrick's eyes filled with tears as he confessed that he still woke up in the middle of the night to assure himself that she was alive and next to him in bed. He pointed out that once she left, he would be forced to spend endless nights, wondering where she was and if she was safe, so he couldn't pretend that everything was fine. Robin assured Patrick that she didn't expect him to, but she needed to be close to him because she loved him. "You still love me too, don't you?" Robin asked with trepidation.

Patrick insisted that it was an unfair question, but Robin admitted that she needed to know the answer. He assured her that he loved her and that it would take everything in his power to let her go the following day because he didn't know what he would do without her. Robin promised that she felt the same way, so she wanted their last night together to be an affirmation of their love because the memories would get her through the days ahead. Patrick reminded Robin that she didn't have to leave, but Robin didn't want to waste what little time they had left together, listing the reasons why she had to help Jason. She knew that Patrick hated her decision, but she wanted to show him how much she loved him.

Robin stepped into Patrick's arms, kissed him, and then made love to her husband. Later, Patrick held his wife tightly and confessed that he couldn't believe that he didn't know when she would get to sleep in his arms again. Robin promised Patrick that she would return home to him as soon as possible. This episode included the song: "Like You Do" by Danni Rosner

DVD #21C 2/27 In the hospital's elevator, Patrick asked Robin if she had talked to Nikolas about her impending departure. Robin admitted that she had and that Nikolas had been his usual polite self, but it was clear to Robin that Nikolas had been confused about her decision to leave her family behind. Moments later, the elevator door opened. The Drakes tensed when they saw Sabrina waiting. Patrick and Robin exited the elevator and exchanged stilted greetings with Sabrina.

Sabrina mentioned her recent prenatal appointment that Patrick had missed, so Patrick quickly apologized for forgetting and explained that something had cropped up. Sabrina assured him that she understood and revealed that the baby's growth was on track. Uncomfortable with the direction of the conversation, Robin excused herself and explained that she had to get to her doctor's appointment. After Robin left, Sabrina asked Patrick if everything was okay with Robin. "Far from it," Patrick admitted. Sabrina was shocked when Patrick revealed that Robin had accepted a job with AMFAR and would be leaving town without him and Emma.

Patrick explained that it was a good opportunity for his wife, but Sabrina admitted that it didn't make sense that Robin would leave town after having been recently reunited with Patrick and Emma. Sabrina feared that Robin's decision to leave had something to do with Sabrina and the baby, but Patrick promised Sabrina that it didn't. Patrick then shifted gears to assure Sabrina that he would be at the next prenatal appointment because he cared about both Sabrina and the baby. Sabrina beamed as she talked about what it had been like to hear the baby's heartbeat. Patrick smiled and admitted that he looked forward to hearing the heartbeat at the next appointment.

Meanwhile, Robin bumped into Carly at the nurses' station. Robin admitted that she was glad that Carly was okay, but Carly conceded that her own nightmare had been nothing compared to what Robin had endured for two years. Carly realized that she and Robin had never been friends because, according to Carly, Robin had never been able to keep her nose out of other people's business. However, Carly was grateful that Robin had risked her life to save Jason. Robin admitted that she was glad that Jason had gotten a chance to meet Danny, even if Jason hadn't known that Danny was his son.

Carly explained that for Jason's sake she wanted to try to coexist with Robin, but Robin revealed that it wouldn't be possible because Robin wouldn't be in Port Charles much longer. Carly was stunned that Robin would abandon her family after being away from Patrick and Emma for two years. Robin explained that there were people who needed her and that it hadn't been a decision that Robin had made lightly, but Carly wasn't satisfied because Carly believed that Patrick and Emma needed Robin more than anyone else. Robin started to walk away because she realized that she wouldn't be able to make Carly understand.

Carly followed Robin and accused her of making it all about Robin. Robin thought that it was ironic that the "self-proclaimed center of the universe," would accuse Robin of being selfish. Carly decided that she didn't want to be friends with Robin because Robin was still the same "self-absorbed, self-important martyr" that Robin had always been. Robin's temper flared, so she blurted out that if Carly knew why Robin was leaving, Carly would bow down and worship Robin. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Carly asked.

Robin realized that she had said too much, so she told Carly to forget about it. Carly demanded an explanation, but Patrick walked up and ordered Carly to back off. Carly was stunned that Patrick would defend the woman who had decided to leave him high and dry. Patrick was curious if Carly liked it when people judged her relationships, whether it was with Franco, Sonny, or even Jason. "No," Carly admitted. Patrick suspected that it was because the people who were judging didn't know the situation or what they were talking about. Patrick was certain that Carly didn't like people butting into her personal life.

"Well, guess what? That goes for everybody," Patrick explained. Patrick made it clear that Robin's decision to leave town was between him and his wife. Carly assured Patrick that she understood, but she added that Patrick deserved better and always had. After Carly left, Patrick wondered how Carly would feel if she knew that Robin was leaving to save Jason. Robin thanked Patrick for having her back because Carly had pushed her buttons until Robin had almost revealed the real reason that she had decided to leave town. Patrick warned Robin that it would have defeated the purpose of her trip. Robin agreed and tried to talk to him about it in further detail, but he cut her off with a reminder of her doctor's appointment.

2/28 At the nurses' station, Elizabeth greeted Robin and joked that she had seen more of Robin lately than when Robin had worked at the hospital. Robin explained that she'd had a checkup and then asked if Elizabeth had talked to Nikolas. Elizabeth confirmed that she had told Nikolas that she loved him, but nothing had changed because Nikolas intended to marry Britt. Robin felt bad and wished that she had kept her advice to herself because she feared that she had made a bad situation worse for her friend. Elizabeth conceded that she hoped that things had turned out different, but she was glad that she had said her piece to Nikolas.

Elizabeth shifted gears and invited Robin to attend the planning meeting for the 2014 Nurses Ball, but Robin explained that she had to go home to pack because Robin intended to leave town later that evening. Elizabeth was shocked when her friend revealed that Patrick and Emma would not be joining Robin. Elizabeth couldn't understand why Robin would leave Patrick and Emma after recently being reunited with them, so Robin confessed that it was difficult to explain because there were a lot of things that Robin wasn't at liberty to discuss.

However, Robin assured Elizabeth that Elizabeth would support and be thrilled with Robin's decision if Elizabeth knew the details. Elizabeth trusted Robin to know what Robin was doing but confessed that she couldn't be thrilled that Robin was leaving. Elizabeth was curious when Robin would be returning, but Robin didn't have an answer. Elizabeth promised to have Robin's back and then hugged her.

At the hospital, Anna approached Robin and Elizabeth and then tearfully asked if Robin was leaving town. Elizabeth quickly slipped away to give Anna and Robin privacy. Robin confirmed that it was true, so Anna wanted to know why Robin had told everyone except Anna. Robin admitted that she had been afraid to say goodbye to her mother because Robin had known that it would be difficult. Anna demanded to know why Robin was leaving. Robin explained that she couldn't go into detail, so she needed Anna to trust that Anna, Robert, and Mac had raised Robin to do the right thing even when it was difficult.

Anna assured Robin that she did, but she couldn't understand why Robin refused to explain why Robin was leaving. Robin recalled being young and not knowing why Anna and Robert would disappear for long periods of time, but she had always had faith that her parents would return. Robin asked Anna to have the same faith in Robin. Anna could see that Robin's mind was set and that Robin believed that it was the right thing to do, so Anna asked for assurance that Robin wasn't being forced and that Patrick and Emma weren't in danger. Robin promised her mother that Patrick and Emma were safe and that it had been Robin's decision. Anna's eyes filled with fresh tears as she begged Robin to promise to find a way back home to Anna. Anna held her daughter tightly and thought about a poignant reunion that she'd had with Robin when Robin had been a young girl. Robin hated letting go as much as her mother, but Robin explained that her flight would depart later that evening.

3/3 Anna was in her office at the Port Charles Police Station, tearfully remembering how Robin had broken the news that Robin was going away, when Duke interrupted and asked what was wrong. She told him that Robin was leaving, and she sensed that there was more to the story than Robin was telling her. Duke asked if Anna would pursue it, but Anna said that she had put Robin in the same position many times before, and she had to support Robin's decision to leave, even if it broke Anna's heart. Anna was still wiping her eyes when Dr. Obrecht knocked and entered Anna's office. Dr. Obrecht told Anna that she knew what Anna had done to Faison.

Robin unlocked the door to her home, which was cheerfully decorated for a going away party. Emma and Patrick yelled, "Surprise." The family exchanged presents, loving words, photos, and goodbyes. Emma went to bed happy. Robin and Patrick spent their last few minutes together holding each other and expressing their love. Both had shed tears when Victor knocked on the door and told Robin that it was time to leave.

3/4 In Anna's office, Liesl vowed to make Anna and Robert pay for what they had done to Cesar Faison. Anna ignored the threat and demanded to know how Liesl had gotten into Anna's office. Liesl claimed that she had worn a latex mask bearing Anna's likeness, but then admitted that she had simply asked the police officer at the front desk, who had directed her to Anna's office. Anna threatened to have Liesl escorted out if Liesl didn't leave, but Liesl wasn't intimidated and countered that she would tell everyone what Anna and Robert had done to Faison.

Anna pointed out that it wasn't a secret that Anna and Robert had captured Faison and then had returned him to prison. Liesl warned Anna that she knew the truth and then handed Anna the file that Victor had given to Liesl. Anna glanced through the file and demanded to know where Liesl had obtained it because Anna knew that Liesl didn't have the clearance to access the file without help. Rather than answer Anna's question, Liesl repeated her own question because Liesl knew that Faison was not at Steinmauer.

Liesl pointed out that Faison had last been seen on Spoon Island, so Liesl wanted answers, or she vowed to snap Anna "like a twig." Anna welcomed the opportunity to defend herself, but Liesl backed down. Anna pointed out that Liesl had helped Faison to escape from Steinmauer in the past, so Anna and Robert had decided to put Faison in a place that he could not escape from. Liesl wanted to know where, but Anna informed Liesl that Liesl didn't have the clearance for that kind of information. Liesl wasn't satisfied because she was certain that her sources would have known if Faison had been transferred to a different facility. Liesl feared that Anna and Robert had killed Faison while he had been bound and defenseless.

"So what if I did?" Anna angrily asked. Shocked, Liesl asked if that had been an admission. Anna provided several different scenarios of how she and Robert might have killed Faison and then concluded with the suggestion that perhaps they had allowed Faison to live, so he could suffer for the rest of his days the way that he had made Anna and Robert suffer when Robin had been abducted. Anna was curious how Liesl felt to be at the whim of someone who despised Liesl, not knowing the truth from a lie. Liesl promised to make Anna pay dearly for what Anna and Robert had done to Faison and then mentioned Robin's impending trip. Liesl took delight in tormenting Anna that Anna might never see Robin again, so Anna demanded to know what Liesl knew about Robin's trip. "What could I possibly know? I don't have the clearance," Liesl replied with a smirk. "Auf wiedersehen," Liesl added and then left. Anna screamed in frustration and anguish when the door closed. In the hallway, Liesl smiled with satisfaction.

At the Drake residence, Victor greeted Robin and then informed her that it was time to leave. He was curious if she had everything, but she admitted that she didn't. Victor was sympathetic to Robin's plight, but Patrick demanded proof that Jason was alive. Robin quietly assured Patrick that she had seen the evidence with her own eyes, so she believed that Victor had Jason. Patrick feared that Victor was trying to exploit Robin's friendship with Jason, but Victor pointed out that all that really mattered was what Robin, not Patrick, believed.

Victor was curious if Robin had changed her mind. Patrick conceded that Robin would do anything for the people that she loved, so he assured Victor that Robin would leave with Victor. Victor admitted that Robin was a lot like her father, Robert, but Robin resented Victor trying to flatter her. Victor shifted gears to confess that experience had taught him that long goodbyes simply added to the pain. Robin explained that she wanted to see her daughter one last time and then left the room.

Patrick took the opportunity to make it clear that Victor would be entrusted with Robin's safety, so Patrick expected Victor to return her home happy and whole. Patrick vowed to make it his life's mission to hunt down and kill Victor if Victor failed to properly safeguard Robin. Victor assured Patrick that the message had been received. Satisfied, Patrick ordered Victor to wait in the car.

After Victor left, Robin returned to the living room. Her eyes filled with tears as Patrick wrapped his arms around her and admitted that he didn't want to let her go. Robin reminded him that he had to, but she deeply regretted that she had hurt him and their daughter. Tears brimmed Patrick's eyes as she confessed that she would not be complete until she returned home to him. Patrick admitted that he was afraid and didn't want to forget that he loved her. Robin promised that she would return, but Patrick didn't want to hear that because he couldn't take another broken promise. Robin nodded in understanding and then gently kissed him. Moments later, she gathered her things and then left.

Patrick picked up a framed photograph of him, Robin, and Emma as he thought about the first time that he had met Robin and how they had fallen in love. His memories drifted to Emma's birth, his wedding to Robin, the lab explosion, his grief over losing Robin, his reunion with Robin in the church, and finally their recommitment ceremony when he had vowed to love Robin until the end of time.

Victor and Robin arrived at the facility. Victor informed Robin that she would have everything that she needed to start her work, but Robin insisted on being taken to Jason. Victor balked, but Robin made it clear that she would not begin her work until she saw Jason. Reluctantly, Victor complied and led her to Room 307, where they encountered Joan. Victor introduced Joan to Robin and then opened the door to Jason's room.

Robin entered the room and approached a cryogenic chamber. "Jason, it's really you," Robin said with relief as she looked at Jason.

3/13 At Kelly's, Anna, Patrick, and Emma had breakfast together. Anna looked through the small telescope that Robin had given to Emma as Emma explained that Robin had wanted Emma to have it so Emma could gaze at the same stars in the sky as Robin. Anna was impressed and returned the telescope necklace to Emma. Emma confessed that she missed her mother, but Anna reminded Emma that Robin was only a phone call away. Emma's expression turned sad as she asked why her mother hadn't called.

Patrick cleared his throat and changed the subject by suggesting that Emma show Anna the picture that Cam had drawn for Emma. Emma ran over to her backpack to look for the picture, while Anna seized the opportunity to ask Patrick if it was true that Robin hadn't called. Patrick curtly explained that Robin was in a remote area and would call when she had settled in, but Anna wasn't satisfied. Emma returned to explain that she had left the picture at home, so Patrick suggested that Emma go to the kitchen to get some crayons from Shawn.

However, Patrick first made it clear that Emma was not to leave the diner. Emma agreed and then dashed off. Anna confessed that it had seemed a lifetime before when Patrick, Britt, and Emma had been there and Emma had slipped out of Kelly's after Britt had upset Emma. Patrick muttered that a lot had changed, prompting Anna to broach the subject of Patrick and Emma. Anna pointed out that it was a lot for Patrick to raise Emma alone, so she promised to help Patrick in any way that she could until Robin returned.

Patrick appreciated the offer, but he confessed that it was meaningless to him. "Excuse me?" Anna asked with a shocked expression. Patrick explained that Robin was the only one who could fix things, but instead, Robin was off fixing others. Anna was stunned when Patrick added that Anna could keep her offers to herself, but he quickly regretted his outburst and apologized.

Anna confessed that she had tried to understand her daughter's decision to leave, but Anna hated how it had affected both Patrick and Emma. Patrick assured her that he and Emma would manage, but he promised to turn to Anna for help if it became too much. Moments later, Emma returned to the table. Anna announced that she had to get to work, so she kissed her granddaughter goodbye and then left. Emma fetched the jeweled egg that Spencer had given her, but Patrick was concerned because it appeared to be too valuable for Spencer to give to Emma.

Emma assured her father that it was okay because Spencer's uncle, Victor, had said that Emma could have it. Patrick tensed and demanded that Emma hand it over. Emma became upset as she asked why, but Patrick's temper flared as he ordered her to give him the jeweled egg. Patrick insisted that they didn't accept gifts from bad men like Victor, but Emma tearfully clutched the egg close to her. Patrick snatched the jeweled egg from his daughter's grasp and then angrily smashed it on the floor. Emma burst into tears as the patrons looked at Patrick with shock.

Patrick ran over to his daughter and apologized, but Emma was distraught. A woman approached Patrick to offer to help him pick up the pieces of the valuable egg, but Patrick snapped at her to leave him alone and then focused on Emma. Patrick admitted that he shouldn't have grabbed the egg from Emma and then throw it, but Emma added that he also shouldn't have yelled at her because he had always told her that yelling was wrong. Patrick agreed and admitted that he had made a mistake. Emma clarified that he had made three mistakes.

Patrick conceded that Emma was right and asked her if she could forgive him. Emma cried that she didn't have her mother or the special egg and then wailed that she missed her mother. Patrick picked Emma up and hugged her tightly as she cried on his shoulder.

After Emma calmed down, Patrick gently suggested that she get ready for school. Emma collected her things as Patrick answered his phone. It was Monica asking him to meet her on an urgent matter. Meanwhile, Spencer entered the diner and greeted Emma. Emma revealed that she had bad news for him, but Spencer assured her that he already knew about her misfortune and then admitted that he knew what it was like to not have a mother. Spencer admitted that he had something that might cheer Emma up. He invited her to be his guest at a party on his private island.

3/17 Patrick was in an emotional state when he hurled Robin's picture against his office wall and questioned how Robin could leave her family. Elizabeth walked in and overheard. She consoled Patrick, who told her how he had hurt Emma earlier, and he worried that Robin's departure would cause him to spiral out of control. Elizabeth pointed out that Emma had forgiven him and that Patrick could be strong for his daughter's sake.

Patrick was not as sure of himself as Elizabeth was. She reminded Patrick that Robin loved her family and would be back. Michael knocked and entered. He told Patrick that he had decided on the surgery for A.J. Patrick told Michael to spend some time with his father while Patrick suited up. After Michael left, Elizabeth questioned whether or not Patrick was emotionally stable enough for surgery. Patrick stiffened his back and told Elizabeth that Robin was not the only one who could rise to the occasion when needed.

4/23 At Metro Court, Patrick, Sabrina, and Emma arrived for the dance recital. Mac was waiting in the lobby with a camcorder to film Emma while Felicia saved a seat in the crowded ballroom. As Mac filmed Emma getting ready, Sabrina admitted to Patrick that she couldn't believe that Carlos had been involved in A.J.'s shooting. She was certain that there was more to the story, but Patrick gently reminded her that Carlos wasn't a law-abiding citizen. Sabrina realized that Carlos worked for the Jeromes, but she was adamant that he had not shot A.J.

Moments later, Nikolas arrived with Cam. Cam dashed off to find Emma and present her with a bouquet of flowers. Sabrina seized the opportunity to ask Nikolas how Elizabeth was, so he assured Sabrina that Elizabeth was recuperating nicely at Wyndemere, but she hadn't been able to drop off Cameron because Elizabeth had attended A.J.'s memorial. Sabrina felt bad for her friend because she knew that there had been a time when Elizabeth and A.J. had been close. Nikolas pointed out that at least they had arrested the man suspected of murdering A.J., but Sabrina staunchly defended Carlos and then excused herself to check on Emma.

Patrick explained that Nikolas had hit a nerve because Sabrina had history with Carlos. However, Patrick wouldn't mind if Carlos were charged with the crime because Patrick didn't want Carlos near the baby. Nikolas suddenly recalled that Sabrina was pregnant with Patrick's baby, so he wondered if that was part of the reason that Robin had left. Patrick ignored the question as Emma returned to show Patrick the flowers that Cam had given to her.

Meanwhile, Spencer lurked in a corner and waited until everyone had entered the ballroom to take their seats before calling out to Emma. Emma was surprised when she saw Spencer, but Spencer cut to the chase by explaining that he needed to protect Emma from danger. Emma became annoyed because she thought that it was a ploy to lure her away from Cam. She informed Spencer that he had to respect the choice that she had made and then stomped off. Spencer remained concerned because he feared that Luke would make good on the threat against Emma.

After the recital, Emma's loved ones met in the lobby to congratulate Emma on her performance. Anna and Duke waited outside with Felicia for Emma, so Mac decided to wrap up the filming. Emma wanted the final shot to be with her bouquet of flowers, so she ran off to fetch them. She became alarmed when she noticed that the flowers were missing, but Spencer stepped out of the shadows to hand the flowers to Emma with an explanation that he had kept them safe for her, even though Cam had bought the flowers, because Spencer knew they were important to Emma.

Spencer promised that he would be the one to save Emma and then ducked out of sight before his father spotted him. Meanwhile, Patrick invited Nikolas and Cam to join them at Kelly's, but Nikolas declined because he had to pick Elizabeth up at the Quartermaine mansion. After Patrick, Sabrina, and Emma left, Nikolas spotted Spencer trying to sneak out of the lobby, so he nabbed his son before Spencer could escape and then vowed to have a long talk with Spencer when they got home. The episode featured the song, "Pale Bird," by Chic Gamine

5/1 In the hallway, Patrick was startled when Victor called out to him. Patrick immediately demanded to know where Robin was and if she was okay. Victor assured him that Robin was fine, but Robin had heard about the accident and had wanted to check on Patrick and Emma. Patrick argued that she was too "enamored" with helping Jason to reach out to her family, but Victor disagreed and offered Patrick an opportunity to talk to Robin. Victor handed Patrick a piece of paper with a phone number where Robin could be reached for the following hour.

Patrick walked away and then called Robin. He quickly assured Robin that Emma was fine, but Sabrina had gone into premature labor and had delivered the baby fifteen weeks early. He revealed that his son was thirteen inches long and a little over one and half pounds, but strong. However, his son was far from out of the woods, so Patrick's voice cracked with emotion as he begged Robin to return home because he and Emma needed her. His tears turned to anger when Robin explained that she was at a critical point in her work, so she couldn't leave.

Furious, Patrick accused Jason of being more important than Robin's own family, so she shouldn't bother to return home at all if she couldn't be there for Patrick and Emma when they needed her the most. As Patrick ended the call, Victor walked up and expressed how sorry he was for Patrick's troubles. Patrick warned Victor to get away from him before Patrick tore Victor apart. Victor nodded and then quietly walked away.

5/8/14 The red carpet arrivals begin, Emma & Cameron, followed by Anna and Duke made their way through a throng of reporters. A reporter asked if Robin would be attending the Nurses Ball, so Anna explained that Robin was abroad doing humanitaria hotel where she finally is with her daughter once again. The Scorpios celebrate Christmas together in Paris and then head back to PC. She meets new Jason on their bridge and he has a brief flashback. Robin & Patrick spend New Year’s Eve in their home, making love and pledging their love to each other. They decide to make a new beginning in CA, and their friendn work, but Anna promised that Robin was there in her heart. The reporter complimented Duke's kilt and then watched as the couple walked away.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas and Spencer watched as Cam asked a reporter if he could give his cousin a special shout-out, so the reporter agreed and held the microphone in front of Cam. "Hi Spencer. Sorry you couldn't be here tonight. We're thinking of you. Save a slice of pizza for me," Cam said with a big smile. Spencer's eyes rounded with fury as he dropped the slice of pizza that he had been about to eat onto the plate.

Emma noticed that Cam was on his cell phone, so she asked if he had sent the picture to Spencer. She was pleased when Cam assured her that he hadn't because she had explained that she had picked Cam because Cam had been a nice guy.

Lucy stepped onto the stage. She received a standing ovation and then waited for everyone to sit down before explaining the history of the Nurses Ball, which had started in 1994. She conceded that they had missed a few years, but she was grateful that they had been able to revive the ball. Lucy talked about the money that they had raised for AMFAR and then revealed that in 2013, researchers had revealed that a child had been cured of the disease and was no longer HIV positive. Lucy's eyes filled with tears of joy as she pointed out that the news had been a huge step in the right direction. Lucy then kicked off the 2014 Nurses Ball.

5/12 Cameron, Emma, Elizabeth, and Ric were surprised to run into Nikolas and Spencer. Nikolas explained that they'd changed their minds about attending the ball. "What are you wearing?" Cameron asked Spencer snottily, referring to Spencer's princely attire. "It's just something I found lying around...Europe," he emphasized, turning around like a model. Elizabeth didn't want Cameron and Emma to miss their entrance, so she and Ric hurried them backstage. Spencer yelled that he couldn't wait for the number.

Lucy was back onstage and announced Emma and Cameron dancing the tango. Nikolas wondered where Spencer was, because he'd wanted to see the number. Emma and Cameron danced until the music abruptly stopped. Suddenly, Spencer was onstage. He apologized for interrupting their "fantastic" dance. "Emma, this song is for you," he said and introduced the band Player, featuring Ronn Moss.

As the band began to play, Cameron whined about Spencer interrupting his and Emma's dance. Spencer regretted it, but he had needed to do something "bold and beautiful" in order to make up with Emma. Cameron tried to get Emma to leave, but Emma wanted to hear the song. As the band played "Baby Come Back," Lucy and Scott shared a meaningful look, as did Ric and Elizabeth, Elizabeth and Nikolas, Brad and Lucas, and Maxie and Nathan.

Backstage, Spencer shook hands with each member of the band. He thanked them for playing on such short notice, but they'd been happy to help. Ronn told Spencer that he'd do anything for Spencer's grandmother Lesley. He wished Spencer luck with getting Emma back. Emma walked backstage. She told Cameron that she had to get changed and stopped short when she saw Spencer. He begged her to return to him and told her that he couldn't live without her.

5/13 Backstage, Spencer fell to bended knee as he implored Emma to take him back by repeating a verse from Player's, "Baby Come Back." Emma insisted that Spencer stand up so he wouldn't get his slacks dirty, but Spencer refused to move until Emma assured him that she had forgiven him. He suddenly feared that she hadn't liked his surprise, but she assured him that she had loved the song and Player's performance. Spencer smiled with satisfaction because he had arranged all of it -- the band and the song -- for Emma. He vowed that he would never hurt her again, so Emma assured him that she had forgiven him.

Spencer jumped up and smiled with joy until Emma clarified that nothing had changed; she had arrived with Cam, so she intended to leave with Cam. "What about us?" Spencer asked in a dejected tone. "There is no us, sorry," Emma replied and then left.

Felix returned to the stage and then asked Emma to join him. Felix revealed that Sabrina hadn't been able to attend the ball because Sabrina had given birth to a premature baby boy, Emma's brother. However, Felix assured everyone that Sabrina had worked hard to help put the 2014 Nurses Ball together, so Emma had agreed to step in for Sabrina. Emma sang, "It's a Beautiful Day.” After Emma's song ended, the crowd applauded.

Outside the neonatal unit, Patrick felt a tiny hand reach for his. It was Emma. Patrick picked his daughter up and then hugged Emma tightly as Anna, Duke, Felix, Elizabeth, Ric, Cam, and Epiphany walked up to lend their support and to check on Patrick and Sabrina's son.
