DVD #19A

At Felix and Sabrina's apartment, Britt objected to giving Sabrina a sample of blood. Felix wondered if Britt was hiding something, but Britt was saved by a knock at the door. It was Brad. Relieved, Britt explained that she had asked Brad to stop by to take a sample of her blood for routine testing. Sabrina pointed out that she was perfectly capable of drawing Britt's blood, but Britt argued that Brad was a phlebotomist.Britt suggested that Sabrina take her fairy godmother, Felix, into the bedroom to get ready for the date with Patrick.

After Felix and Sabrina left, Britt instructed Brad to make certain that the results of the blood test confirmed the diagnosis of hyperemesis gravidarum. Brad assured her that he understood then revealed that he had figured out who she had talked to earlier that morning. Britt was surprised when Brad told her that Spinelli had answered Brad's phone.

Britt reminded herself that there wasn't any reason to panic because there was nothing that could expose her deception. Brad sheepishly admitted that he had a medical file with the real results of her blood tests. Britt was livid, so she ordered Brad to destroy the file immediately. Britt grumbled about being surrounded by idiots as Brad scurried to the door to leave. Britt quickly quieted down when Brad opened the door to reveal that Patrick had been about to knock. Patrick entered the apartment as Brad left, so Britt explained that Brad had been there to collect a blood sample for routine tests.

Patrick became distracted when Sabrina entered the living room. Patrick complimented Sabrina then kissed her as Britt watched with barely concealed hostility. Britt tried to shift the focus to her by pretending to be startled that the baby had kicked. Britt invited Patrick to feel, so he walked over to touch her stomach. Patrick smiled when he felt the baby kick, prompting Felix to remind Patrick that Patrick and Sabrina had reservations. After Patrick and Sabrina left, Felix turned to Britt. "Alone at last," Felix told Britt.

In the lab, Ellie was about to open Britt's medical file when Brad walked in. Brad snatched the file out of her hand as he asked her what she was doing. Ellie made it clear that she intended to find out what Brad and Britt were hiding. Brad advised Ellie to drop it if she knew what was good for her.

6/10 Felix stayed home to care for Britt while Patrick and Sabrina went to dinner at the Metro Court. Britt wanted to know why no one had anything good to say about her. Felix said that there was nothing good to say about Britt, and that was the point. He asked why Britt was trying to get between Sabrina and Patrick. Britt said that she was not trying to break them up because Sabrina's ugly dress would do that.

Felix took offense because he had helped pick out the dress. Britt insulted Felix and his "gay man's taste." Felix called her "Britch," and when she asked, Felix explained that it was a combination of Britt and "bitch." Britt argued that not liking Sabrina's clothes did not make her a bitch because she was a very caring person.

Felix was blunt when he scoffed that Britt was the least caring person he had ever met. Felix told Britt that she had no empathy. Felix said that he did not understand why Britt had become a doctor. Felix added that children did not like her, and none of the nurses wanted to work with her.

When Felix asked rhetorically who had made her that way, Britt shouted that it had been her mother. Felix asked if that meant that Britt had been hatched from dragon's eggs or from the spores of poisoned mushrooms. Britt said that her mother was a mad scientist who held people against their will, and her father was a deranged serial killer who murdered on a global scale. Felix thought that Britt was exaggerating.

Felix said that he got that Britt's childhood was a combination of Rocky Horror Picture Show and Austin Powers. Britt interjected that it was not as funny but Felix said that her tacky childhood did not excuse Britt's behavior, and she could not use it as an excuse to make Felix feel sorry for her. Felix said that the only one he felt sorry for was Britt's child because Britt was its mother and that he was starting a therapy fund for the child.

Felix added that the only thing that Britt's unborn child had going for it was Patrick as a father, if indeed, Patrick was the father. Felix suggested that if Britt were sincere, she would do an amnio test. Britt pleaded her illness and said that she would not do an invasive test that would put additional stress on her body. Felix said she could do a non-invasive blood test that could be compared to Patrick's DNA. Britt said that she refused to submit to a test because she had nothing to prove to Felix. Felix agreed but told Britt that she would eventually have to prove the baby's paternity to Patrick.

Patrick asked Sabrina to go to his home for a sweet dessert. As they waited for the elevator, Patrick told Sabrina that Emma was staying with Duke and Anna. They got in the elevator and kissed as the doors closed.

6/11 At the Drake residence, Patrick called Anna to check on Emma. Anna assured him that Emma was fine and confessed that her pleasure to watch Emma. "And Duke's," Anna added with a smile as she glanced at Duke, who patiently sat through a makeover compliments of Emma. Patrick thanked Anna then ended the call. Sabrina smiled awkwardly as she realized that it had been the first time that she had been in Patrick's home without Emma being there. Patrick tenderly kissed Sabrina then reminded her that he had promised her dessert.

Sabrina wondered if Patrick had made the dessert. Patrick laughed as he assured her that he didn't have any desire to kill her. After Patrick disappeared into the kitchen, Sabrina wandered over to a bookshelf where a picture of Patrick and Robin on their wedding day was prominently displayed. Sabrina thoughtfully looked at the wedding picture until Patrick returned with two extravagantly decorated cupcakes. Patrick confessed that he had bought the cupcakes and then had decorated them with Emma.

Patrick and Sabrina playfully flirted as they took a bite of the cupcakes, and then kissed. Things began to heat up, so Patrick checked to make certain that Sabrina was comfortable with him. Sabrina assured him that she was, prompting Patrick to confide that Emma was spending the night with Duke and Anna. Patrick asked Sabrina to spend the night with him, but Sabrina feared that wasn't what Patrick really wanted. Patrick admitted that he had been thinking about taking their relationship to the next level for a while, but Sabrina still had doubts.

Sabrina pointed out that they were in the home that Patrick had once shared with his wife, Robin. Patrick conceded that he had happy memories of Robin in the house, but he admitted that Robin had made a DVD when Robin had thought that she only had a short time to live. He revealed that Robin had encouraged Patrick to find someone he could love and who loved him and Emma. Patrick thought that he had found that woman in Sabrina. Sabrina kissed Patrick then followed him to the bedroom.

In Anna's penthouse, Anna smiled at Duke as Emma applied powder blush to his cheeks. Anna thought that Emma had outdone herself, but Emma insisted that Duke needed something sparkly. Anna suggested that Emma check Anna's jewelry box, so Emma dashed off. Duke groaned good-naturedly then switched gears to ask how Anna felt about Patrick's date with Sabrina. Anna assured him that she liked Sabrina. She was also certain that Robin would approve of Patrick's relationship with the young nurse because Robin had wanted Patrick to be happy.

Emma returned with a set of earrings, which she promptly put on Duke. Anna couldn't resist taking a picture of Duke, so he posed with Emma for the camera. Emma thought of something else that she wanted Duke to wear, so she ran to fetch it. Duke chuckled because Emma reminded him so much of her mother, Robin, at the same age. Anna agreed. Moments later, Emma returned with a tutu for Duke.

Duke was horrified, so Anna explained that men didn't wear skirts. Emma recalled the Duke had worn one at the Nurses Ball, so Duke clarified that it had been a kilt. Meanwhile, Anna received a phone call reporting a shooting in the restaurant. Anna ordered that the hotel be sealed off, and then promised to be in the restaurant right away.

After Anna left, Emma fetched another tutu for herself then held up the one that she had wanted Duke to put on. To Emma's delight, Duke donned the tutu. Emma confessed that she wanted Duke to teach her how to dance the way that he had danced with Anna at the Nurses Ball. Duke turned on some tango music, picked up Emma, and then danced with her. Emma giggled with joy when he pretended to dip her. Later, Duke and Emma were sound asleep, still dressed in their tutus, as the tango music played on.

6/12 At the Drake residence, Patrick kissed Sabrina, but he sensed her hesitancy, so he asked her if she was okay. Sabrina confessed that she was nervous, prompting Patrick to wonder if she was a virgin. Sabrina burst out laughing as she reminded Patrick that she was twenty-seven years old. She assured him that she'd had a lot of sex. Concerned, Patrick wondered how much "a lot" meant. Sabrina sobered as she realized what Patrick was asking, so she clarified that she'd had a "normal" about of sex, but only with one person.

Sabrina told Patrick about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, which had lasted from high school through college. However, she revealed that her ex-boyfriend had wanted to get married and start a family, while Sabrina had been focused on becoming a nurse. According to Sabrina, she and the ex-boyfriend had had different expectations about marriage and their futures, so they had ended the relationship when Sabrina's cousin had told Sabrina about General Hospital.

Sabrina confessed that she didn't regret taking a leap of faith by leaving her ex-boyfriend and Puerto Rico to build a new life in Port Charles. Patrick admitted that he was happy that she had, and then kissed her. The kiss quickly heated up, but Patrick didn't want Sabrina to feel like he was rushing things with her. Sabrina kissed Patrick to assure him that she was ready to be intimate, so Patrick unzipped her dress then tumbled onto the bed with her to make love.

Later, Patrick and Sabrina enjoyed postcoital bliss as they snuggled together under the covers. Patrick was surprised when Sabrina admitted that she couldn't stop thinking about Felix because Felix had told Sabrina from the very beginning that Patrick and Sabrina would end up together. Sabrina was stunned that someone as wonderful as Patrick would be interested in her. Patrick argued that he was the lucky one because Sabrina was a caring, loyal, and dedicated nurse and friend who was as beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside. After they made love again, Sabrina confessed that it had been a perfect night. Patrick agreed, and then made love to her again.

6/13 At the Drake residence, Sabrina woke up bed with Patrick. She confessed that it was going to take time for her to get used to being with Patrick because she had never thought that it would happen. Patrick was curious if the reality had lived up to the fantasy. Sabrina smiled as she playfully suggested that it was difficult to tell. Patrick assured Sabrina that she was wonderful, caring, generous, and sexy, so he hoped that she had enjoyed their night together.

Sabrina chuckled as she wondered if Patrick was asking for a review. Patrick reminded her that her ex-boyfriend had made Sabrina happy for a long time, so Patrick wanted to do the same. Sabrina assured him that she was enjoying herself, so Patrick began to kiss her. Sabrina pulled away before things went further because she had to get to work. Patrick was disappointed, but he admitted that he needed to go to the hospital, too, because he wanted to be there for a friend when his friend received some test results.

Later, Patrick smiled when he entered the living room and noticed Sabrina sliding on her eyeglasses. Sabrina explained that she had left her contacts in a cup of water overnight, but she had accidentally spilled them down the drain. She feared Felix's reaction to her wearing glasses, but Patrick confessed that he thought that the glasses were sexy. After a brief kiss, Sabrina reminded him that he needed to go to the hospital. She offered to pick up Emma, so Patrick told her that it had been taken care of. He had called Duke while Sabrina had been in the shower.

Sabrina was curious if Emma had enjoyed spending the night with Anna. Patrick admitted that Emma had had a great time until the shooting. Concerned, Sabrina asked what had happened, so he filled her in on what he knew. Moments later, Patrick received a call from the hospital, notifying him that Danny's test results were in.

Later, Sam saw Patrick at the nurses' station, so she ran to him to find out if he had the results of the biopsy. Patrick wanted to wait for Dr. Singh to arrive, but Sam insisted on an answer. She begged him to tell her that Danny would be okay. Patrick was reluctant to tell Sam what the results were without Dr. Singh, but Sam was desperate to know if her son had cancer. Patrick looked at Sam with sad eyes as he gently replied, "I'm sorry." Devastated, Sam threw herself into her mother's arms and cried.

After several minutes, Sam pulled herself together as Alexis asked Patrick what the next step was. Sam explained that Danny would have to undergo induction therapy to destroy the cancer cells, chemotherapy via a spinal tap to quickly disperse the medications throughout Danny's system, and radiation treatments. Alexis wondered how Sam knew all of that. Sam somberly explained that she simply knew.

6/14 At the hospital, Patrick and Sabrina slipped into an examination room as they kissed. Things quickly heated up, but Sabrina argued that it was wrong because he was a top surgeon, while she was a "lowly" nurse. Plus, Sabrina was afraid that they would be caught. Patrick continued to kiss Sabrina as he assured her that it was okay because Monica Quartermaine owed him. Sabrina was curious why. "You don't want to know," Patrick said between kisses.

Sabrina stiffened, prompting Patrick to realize that his remark had killed the mood. Sabrina suggested that it was for the best because they had a date with Ellie Trout. Confused, Patrick wondered why. Sabrina explained that Ellie could take a swab Patrick's mouth for DNA to run a paternity test. Patrick doubted that Britt would consent to a paternity test, so Sabrina revealed that they could use a sample of the blood that Brad had taken the other day from Britt.

Patrick was reluctant to agree to the secret paternity test because it was unethical. Sabrina conceded that Patrick was right, but she feared that it was the only way for Patrick to get the answers that he needed. She told Patrick about Britt's refusal to consider a paternity test when Felix had mentioned it, so Sabrina suspected that Britt had something to hide. Sabrina realized that a covert paternity test was shady, but she insisted that Patrick needed to know the truth. Patrick hated stooping to Britt's duplicitous level.

Moments later, Felix knocked on the door then asked if it was safe to enter. Sabrina opened the door because she feared that Epiphany was looking for her. Felix calmed Sabrina's fears, but suggested that next time Sabrina use a little more discretion when sneaking off with Patrick. Patrick took full responsibility for the tryst, so Felix shifted gears.

"Please, tell me that Sabrina has convinced you to smoke out Britt once and for all?"

Felix implored Patrick. Patrick hesitated a moment and then agreed to go along with the secret paternity test. Relieved, Felix suggested that they hightail it to the lab. Patrick was concerned about Brad finding out about their plans, but Felix promised to take care of it. Sabrina had reservations about Felix tangling with Brad, but Felix assured her that he knew how to handle the "horny hobgoblin" without resorting to sexual favors.

However, Felix wanted the honors of evicting Britt when they exposed the truth. Patrick and Sabrina explained that they needed Ellie's help to run a paternity test to find out if Patrick was the father of Britt's baby. Ellie readily agreed, but asked for Britt's consent form. Patrick explained the situation to Ellie, so Ellie agreed to run the paternity test.

Later, Felix entered the lab. Felix confessed that he could still feel Brad's eyes on him as Brad had spied on Felix during the shower. Sabrina felt terrible for Felix, so she promised to do the dishes for the next month. Meanwhile, Ellie assured Patrick that she had everything she needed to do the paternity test and promised that Brad would not get wind of it.

Ellie admitted that Patrick was right to question Britt because Brad and Britt were in cahoots. Ellie told Patrick, Sabrina, and Felix about Britt's medical file that Brad had hidden in Brad's desk. Sabrina wondered if Britt's secret medical file had information about the baby's paternity, but Patrick insisted that it didn't matter because once Ellie completed the paternity test, they would know if Patrick was the baby's father.

At the apartment, Britt was surprised when Brad showed up in a good mood. Brad confessed that he had just seen a memorable show and then handed Britt her medical file. He thought that it would be safer in Britt's hands.

6/26 At the Drake residence, Patrick and Sabrina tried to catch their breath after they had made love. Patrick confessed that he was happy that Emma had spent the night with Anna because Sabrina had been noisy. Embarrassed, Sabrina denied it, but Patrick assured her that it was true. He started to nuzzle her neck, but Sabrina insisted that they had to get to the hospital because the paternity test results were due back later that day. Patrick groaned but admitted that at least he would find out if Britt had been lying.

Sabrina wondered if he was still bothered about the circumstances of the paternity test. Patrick confessed that it troubled him, but he realized that it had been the only way for him to find out if Britt had been stringing him along. Sabrina thought that it was telling that Britt had refused to take a paternity test that could have easily proven that Patrick was the baby's father. However, Sabrina was relieved that Britt didn't know about the paternity test because they wouldn't have to worry about Britt tampering with the results.

At the apartment, Britt wheeled herself into the living room as she called out asking if the man of the house was around. Felix groggily woke up on the sofa to let her know that he was at home. Britt snidely explained that she had been referring to the roommate with the "boyish" figure, Sabrina. Felix informed Britt that Sabrina, and Sabrina's boyish figure, had spent the night at Patrick's place. Britt's smile immediately faded, so Felix continued to goad her by wondering if Patrick and Sabrina realized that they had Britt to thank for their sex marathons.

Felix pointed out that if Britt hadn't stood between Patrick and Sabrina for so long, then the lovebirds would not have felt the need to make up for lost time. Britt confessed that she had lost her appetite, but Felix insisted that it was important for her to eat for the sake of the baby. "Whosever it is," Felix muttered under his breath. "What did you say?" Britt demanded. Felix claimed that he had simply been assuring her that he would make breakfast.

Britt suggested that that Patrick was only interested in Sabrina because of the makeover, so Felix revealed that Patrick had wanted Sabrina before Patrick had seen Sabrina's transformation. Britt bragged that it didn't matter because she was the one who was pregnant with Patrick's baby. "I guess we're going to find out if that's true, aren't we?" Felix asked as he headed to the kitchen.

Britt demanded to know what Felix meant by that, so Felix quickly backtracked by reminding Britt that he had never made it a secret that he questioned the paternity of Britt's baby. According to Felix, the likelihood of Britt carrying Patrick's baby were the same as Felix carrying Milo's child.

Britt repeated Felix's words and then pointed out that the only way to confirm her child's paternity was through a paternity test. Felix argued that Britt had refused to take one, but Britt realized that there were ways to get around that. Felix disagreed because Britt's "toadie" worked in the lab, so it was unlikely that Brad would agree to run a secret paternity test on Britt's baby.

Britt argued that Ellie wouldn't hesitate to run the paternity test, but Felix insisted that Ellie was an ethical person. Britt decided to go to the lab to check for herself. Felix reminded Britt that she couldn't leave the apartment because it would put the baby at risk, but Britt threatened to call the police if he didn't let her leave. Felix wished Britt luck finding a cab that would take her and her wheelchair to the hospital, but Britt was confident that she wouldn't have a problem. After Britt left the apartment, Felix called Sabrina to warn Sabrina that Britt knew about the paternity test and was on her way to the hospital.

Later, Britt arrived at the lab, but Ellie refused to let Britt enter. Britt ordered Ellie to stop the paternity test. Patrick stepped forward to reveal that it was too late; he had the results of the paternity test in his hand.

6/27 At the apartment, Felix left a frantic voicemail message for Sabrina. He hoped that Sabrina was on her way to the hospital before Britt was able to change the results of the paternity test, so he was anxious to know what had happened.

At the lab, Britt demanded that Ellie halt the unauthorized paternity test, but Patrick and Sabrina stepped out of the lab. Patrick informed Britt that it was too late because he had the results of the paternity test in his hand. Britt was furious, so she demanded that he hand them to her, or she would have everyone who'd had a hand in the paternity test fired. Sabrina was surprised when Patrick decided to give Britt the paternity test results because he didn't want anyone to lose their job. Britt quickly ripped up the paternity test results.

Britt's satisfaction was short-lived as Patrick thanked Britt for confirming what he had known all along. He realized that the baby wasn't his because Britt had torn up the results of the paternity test, which she wouldn't have done if the baby had indeed been his. Patrick informed Britt that he was done with her and her lies. Patrick and Sabrina started to leave, but Britt called out to Patrick.

Britt conceded that her emotions had been all over the place, but she assured Patrick that the baby was his. Britt claimed that she was willing to prove it by taking another paternity test. Sabrina explained that the point of conducting a secret paternity test had been to make certain that Britt's minion, Brad, wouldn't tamper with the results. Britt pointed out that Ellie could tell Patrick what the results of the paternity test had been because Ellie had done the test. Ellie quietly confirmed that Britt was right, so Britt instructed Ellie to tell Patrick what the results of the paternity test had been.

Ellie regretfully admitted that Patrick was the baby's father. Britt smiled victoriously as she suggested that Patrick accept that she and baby would be a part of his life forever. After Britt and Ellie left, Sabrina apologized to Patrick. Sabrina confessed that she had been certain that Britt had been lying, so Patrick assured her that he didn't blame her because he had thought the same thing.

Nearby, Britt received a text message from her mother, Dr. Obrecht. The text message read, "I told you everything would work out." Britt glanced at Dante and Lulu as another text message arrived. The text message read, "You should always trust your mother," prompting Britt to smile.

7/3 At the apartment, Sabrina told Felix that the paternity test had confirmed that Patrick was the father of Britt's baby. Felix refused to believe it, but Britt strolled into the living room in time to assure Felix that it was true. Sabrina was curious why Britt wasn't in a wheelchair, so Britt reminded Sabrina that being on bed rest hadn't made Britt an invalid. Britt made her way to the sofa as she admitted that she also felt better because of the results of the paternity test. Britt thanked Sabrina for filling Felix in and then began to sing, "This is Patrick's baby, like I always said."

Felix glared at Britt and made it clear that he still had doubts. Taylor entered the living room, grumbling because the arguing had woken her up. Felix and Britt continued to bicker about the paternity test until Taylor realized that the paternity test had confirmed Britt's claim. Taylor suggested that Felix and Sabrina owed Britt an apology, but Felix refused to give Britt one. Felix insisted that he and Sabrina needed to leave because Sabrina had to get to Patrick's party in the park, and Felix had a meeting with Lucy. Sabrina confessed that she regretted going behind Britt's back, but Sabrina refused to let Britt walk all over her. Sabrina insisted that they needed to learn to deal with each other, so Britt claimed that was all that Britt had wanted.

After Felix and Sabrina left, Britt complained that she hadn't gotten an "I'm sorry." Taylor warned Britt not to expect one. Britt launched into a small rant about how uncomfortable pregnancy was and how she resented being "persona non grata" to Patrick. Taylor realized that Britt had indeed tried to snare Patrick by getting pregnant, but Britt denied it.

Mac and Felicia joined Patrick and Emma at the park for a Fourth of July celebration. Mac and Felicia were eager to ask Emma something important, but Emma wanted to wait until Sabrina arrived. Patrick assured his daughter that Sabrina would be there shortly, but he thought that Emma should hear what Mac and Felicia had to say. Emma agreed, so Mac and Felicia asked Emma to be the flower girl at their wedding. Emma happily accepted, so Felicia revealed that she and Mac had a present for Emma.

Emma discovered a baby doll inside the gift bag that Felicia had handed to Emma. Felicia explained that it was like a real baby, but Emma threw the doll to the ground and yelled that she didn't want the "stupid baby." Shocked by Emma's outburst, Patrick tried to talk to his daughter about the present and her future sibling, but Emma was adamant that she didn't want the doll or the sibling. Moments later, Sabrina arrived, so Emma ran up to Sabrina and threw her arms around her.

Sabrina asked what was troubling Emma. Emma confessed that she didn't want a baby brother or sister because it would mean that Britt would be around. Sabrina admitted that the baby had been a surprise to all of them and that Sabrina had been upset, too, but they had to find a way to accept the baby. Sabrina reminded Emma that the baby was a part of Patrick and Emma, so Sabrina was confident that they would learn to love the baby.

After the talk with Sabrina, Emma felt better, so she apologized to Mac and Felicia. Felicia offered to buy Emma another present, but Emma declined because she wanted to keep the doll. Mac, Felicia, and Emma walked away to get the grill started, so Patrick sat down on the picnic blanket with Sabrina and thanked her for her help. Sabrina assured Patrick that she had meant what she had said. Sabrina started to explain that she would love the baby because she loved him, but stopped because she was afraid to tell Patrick how she felt about him. Patrick assured Sabrina that it was okay to say that she loved him because he loved her too. Sabrina smiled as he kissed her.

Later, Mac called out to ask if anyone wanted burgers. "I do," Britt replied as she walked up. Everyone stared at Britt with a mixture of annoyance and disbelief, but Britt ignored them as she reminded them that she was eating for two.

7/5 In the park, Patrick, Sabrina, Emma, Mac, and Felicia were shocked when Britt crashed their Fourth of July celebration. Britt ignored their reaction as she asked for a burger and then proudly reminded them that she was eating for two. Emma clung to Sabrina, as Patrick approached Britt to ask what Britt was doing in the park when she should be at home on best rest. Britt explained that she had felt stifled in the apartment, so she had decided to celebrate the holiday by getting out. "Why shouldn't the baby and I celebrate too?" Britt innocently asked.

Patrick urged Britt to think about the baby because Britt wasn't supposed to be up and about. He also warned her that she made Emma uncomfortable, prompting Britt to confess that she wanted to make peace with Emma. Patrick argued that it wasn't the time or the place, so Britt agreed not to look at Emma or to get near the little girl if Britt could stay. Britt explained that her parents lived in Europe, so she was all alone on what was supposed to be a family holiday. Britt then pointed out that even though she wasn't part of the family, their baby was.

Patrick capitulated and agreed to let Britt stay. Britt walked over to the picnic table, while Patrick joined Sabrina and Emma on the blanket. Emma asked her father why Britt was there, so Patrick explained that he had felt bad for Britt because Britt had been alone for the holiday and had had a difficult pregnancy. Sabrina admitted that she wouldn't want to be stuck inside an apartment on the Fourth of July, so even she had felt sorry for Britt. Emma insisted that her doll, Baby Ariel, was scared, so Patrick and Sabrina promised Emma that nothing would happen to Emma or the doll. Eventually, Emma relaxed and smiled.

At the picnic table, Felicia approached Britt to introduce herself. Felicia revealed that she was Maxie's mother and then introduced Mac. Mac confessed that he had met Britt during Patrick and Britt's first date. Britt smiled as she recalled that Patrick hadn't realized that Britt was a vegetarian when he had taken Britt to the Floating Rib. Mac looked at Britt's pregnant belly as he remarked that clearly Patrick had gotten to know Britt better since then. Britt's smile vanished when Felicia pointed out that Patrick and Britt had broken up.

Britt accepted the hamburger that Mac had handed to her, prompting Felicia to observe that it appeared that Britt was no longer a vegetarian. Britt clarified that she was still a vegetarian, but her baby wasn't. Britt suspected that it was a trait that her baby had inherited from its father.

Nearby, Patrick, Emma, and Sabrina had heard Britt's remark about the baby. Sabrina tried to get past the awkward moment by suggesting that Emma show Britt the baby doll that Mac and Felicia had given to Emma. Emma was reluctant to agree until Sabrina promised to stay right by Emma's side. Sabrina held Emma's hand as they approached Britt. Emma tentatively invited Britt to hold Baby Ariel, so Britt took the doll. Emma explained that the doll was like a real baby and even wet its diaper. Britt was startled when she felt something wet on the baby, so she quickly tossed it away.

Emma screamed in horror as her doll landed on the grill and then promptly caught fire. Mac and Patrick rushed to put the fire out, but it was too late. Baby Ariel had melted on the grill. Emma cried as she accused Britt of ruining the doll. "Let's hope you're a little more maternal with Patrick's baby," Sabrina softly whispered to Britt.

Later, Patrick and Sabrina helped Emma bury Baby Ariel, while Mac tried to scrape the melted plastic off of the grill. Patrick and Sabrina assured Emma that the doll would go to heaven, but Emma panicked when she heard Mac remark that he had found the left leg of the doll. Sabrina promised Emma that Baby Ariel didn't need a left leg to get into heaven because the doll just needed a good soul. Emma glared accusingly at Britt as she suggested that not everyone had a good soul. "Do they?" Emma asked Britt.

Britt apologized to Patrick for what had happened and assured him that she hadn't meant to ruin everyone's day. She explained that she hadn't expected to feel the wetness on the doll, so she had panicked. Britt decided to go home, so Patrick offered to drive her. Britt declined, but Patrick reminded her of the baby. Britt argued that she would be fine and insisted that she did have maternal instincts, so she would never endanger their child.

After Britt left, Patrick returned to the blanket where Sabrina and Emma sat. Sabrina told Emma that the fireworks would signal Baby Ariel's arrival into heaven. "With my mommy?" Emma asked. "Yes, with your mommy," Patrick answered his daughter. Later, Patrick promised Emma that everything would be fine and then smiled at Sabrina.

7/10 At the nurses' station, Patrick walked up behind Sabrina to nuzzle her neck. Sabrina smiled as she turned in his arms and kissed him. Nearby, Britt watched the display of affection with an expression of disgust, so she cleared her throat to get Patrick's attention. Patrick quietly greeted Britt, so she explained that she had wanted to apologize for killing the baby. Shocked, Sabrina couldn't believe that Britt had terminated her pregnancy. Britt stood up from the wheelchair to show Patrick and Sabrina that she was still pregnant.

Sabrina was horrified that Britt had given her and Patrick such a scare, but Britt insisted that she had been referring to Baby Ariel, Emma's doll, not Britt's baby. Britt explained that she had picked up a new doll for Emma as an apology. Patrick appreciated the gesture, but he was concerned that Britt had gone shopping when Britt was supposed to be on bed rest. Britt assured Patrick that she was feeling much better, so Sabrina suggested that perhaps Britt had never been sick in the first place.

Offended, Britt lashed out at Sabrina for continually making unfounded accusations. Patrick suggested that they speak in private, but Britt wanted everyone to know that each one of Sabrina's outrageous accusations had been proven to be false, including the paternity of Britt's baby. Britt assured Patrick that she had the lab tests to confirm that her health had improved, so Sabrina was curious if Brad had conducted the tests. Britt snapped at Sabrina and pointed out that Sabrina had won Patrick, so there wasn't any need to kick Britt while Britt was down.

Later, Patrick and Sabrina arrived at Kelly's and made their way to the counter. Sabrina conceded that Britt had been right about Sabrina kicking Britt while Britt was down. Patrick didn't want Sabrina to be too hard on herself because Britt had given them plenty of reasons to be distrustful. Patrick insisted that Sabrina had merely said what they all had been thinking. Sabrina appreciated Patrick's support, but she realized that it was time to follow through on the things that she had told Emma about finding a way to get along with Britt for the sake of the baby.

Patrick agreed that they all could do better. Sabrina nodded, but she confessed that a part of her still sensed that Britt was hiding something. Patrick didn't blame Sabrina for having questions, but he pointed out that regardless whether or not Britt was hiding something or had faked her illness, the baby was still his and therefore it would be a part of their lives. Sabrina assured Patrick that she wasn't going anywhere, so Patrick vowed that he would not let Britt get between them.

Brad remarked that Nikolas was quite a catch. However, Brad admitted that he had his eye on someone else. Britt ordered Brad to shut up because she needed Brad to run another test to prove to Patrick and his "little fuzzball" that her condition had improved. "Is that all?" Brad asked. Brad was curious how long much longer Britt thought that they could get away with their ruse. Britt ordered him to keep his "excruciating noise" down because neither of them could afford for anyone to find out what they had done. Britt warned Brad that they could both lose their jobs.

7/16 At the nurses' station, Sabrina wondered if Patrick was interested in taking an early lunch. Patrick was surprised because he had thought that he had mentioned that he had plans. Britt walked up during the exchange and quickly informed Sabrina that Patrick had agreed to attend birthing classes with Britt. Sabrina suddenly recalled Patrick telling her about it, so she apologized for the confusion.

Britt offered a saccharine smile as she thanked Sabrina for Sabrina's understanding because Britt insisted that it was important for Patrick to be prepared for their child's birth. Sabrina tried to hide how Britt's comment had hurt, but Patrick picked up on it, so he told Britt that he would catch up with Britt in a few minutes.

After Britt walked away, Patrick asked if Sabrina was okay. He assured her that she could be honest, so she admitted that she was having some difficulty dealing with Britt because there were times when Sabrina wanted to rip Britt's face off. Patrick appreciated Sabrina's honesty, so he promised that he and Sabrina would get through everything together, and he kissed her.

At the elevator, Britt bumped into Nikolas. Britt was curious why Nikolas was at the hospital, so he told her that he was there to support his family while they waited for the results of the bone marrow tests. Nikolas asked how Britt was doing, so she told him that she was okay. Nikolas had hoped that she had been faring better than that because she hadn't called him. Britt assured Nikolas that things were better and that the father of the baby had agreed to attend birthing classes with her. However, the baby's father's girlfriend hadn't been able to handle it, so Britt feared that the baby's father would be late to the class. Nikolas admitted that the man sounded like a "jackass."

Moments later, Patrick walked up and asked Britt if she was ready for the class. Nikolas realized that Patrick was the father of Britt's baby. Britt was surprised when Nikolas and Patrick exchanged greetings because she hadn't realized that Nikolas and Patrick knew each other.

Sabrina spotted Patrick standing at the elevator with Britt and Nikolas, so she grabbed Patrick. Britt was annoyed that Patrick had abandoned Britt, but Nikolas pointed out that Patrick had been called away to attend to an emergency. Britt complained that she would be the only woman in the class without a birthing coach, so Nikolas offered to step in for Patrick. Surprised, Britt insisted that it wasn't necessary, but Nikolas refused to let her attend the class alone.

At the nurses' station, Sabrina and Elizabeth watched as Nikolas and Britt walked away arm in arm. Elizabeth wondered what was going on between Nikolas and Britt. Sabrina didn't know, but she doubted that Nikolas and Britt were going anywhere, since Britt had been scheduled for a birthing class. Elizabeth feared that Nikolas was attending the class with Britt. "That's ridiculous," Sabrina replied. Elizabeth agreed, but she appeared troubled.

7/18 In Franco's hospital room, Patrick asked Franco a series of questions to determine if there had been any neurological damage from the seizure. Franco answered all of the questions correctly until Patrick asked what Franco's name was. "Jason Morgan," Franco answered. Claiming to be Jason, Franco demanded to see his wife and son, Sam and Danny. Patrick didn't dispute Franco's claims as he carefully tested Franco's reflexes.

Ava wanted to know what was wrong with Franco, so Silas suggested that Franco was lying. Franco became enraged when Silas insisted that Franco was Franco. "Franco is dead," Franco shouted. Patrick ordered Silas and Ava to leave and then tried to calm Franco down. Franco wanted to know what was going on, so Patrick explained that they needed to run some tests.

At the nurses' station, Elizabeth spotted Nikolas and Britt walking to the elevator together. Britt thanked Nikolas for stepping in for Patrick at the last minute and attending the birthing class with her. "What?" Elizabeth whispered to herself as Britt hugged Nikolas. Nikolas offered to be available if Britt needed him again, but Britt doubted that she would attend another class, since she had delivered enough babies to know that she wanted an epidural when she went into labor.

After Nikolas walked away, Elizabeth approached Britt. "Dr. Westbourne," Elizabeth called out. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" Elizabeth asked, referring to Nikolas. Britt was curious why it was Elizabeth's business, so Elizabeth admitted that Nikolas was a longtime friend. Britt smiled knowingly as she realized that Elizabeth was "the girl that screwed him over."

Elizabeth reiterated that she and Nikolas had been friends for a very long time, but Britt thought that Elizabeth had moved on with A.J. Elizabeth insisted that her relationship with A.J. was none of Britt's business, so Britt countered that the same applied to Elizabeth in regards to Britt's relationship with Nikolas. Britt pointed out that it wasn't Britt's fault that Elizabeth had blown a chance with Nikolas. Britt smiled with satisfaction when Elizabeth didn't reply. Britt suggested that Elizabeth had "buyer's remorse."

Brad pulled Britt aside when he spotted her at the nurses' station. He warned her that Michael Corinthos knew about their collaboration. Brad quickly filled Britt in on what had happened, but he assured her that Michael had agreed not to tell Monica in exchange for Brad keeping quiet about Michael's attraction to Michael's cousin. "Ew," Britt said. Britt was confident that they wouldn't have any more problems as long as Brad kept his mouth shut and didn't try to coerce the chief of staff's grandson into having sex.

Moments later, Patrick walked up, so Brad quickly fled. Patrick appeared to question Brad's nervous behavior, but Britt distracted Patrick by revealing that Nikolas had attended the birthing class with her. She made a point of letting Patrick know that Nikolas had been an excellent substitute for Patrick.

7/18 At the nurses' station, Patrick talked to Elizabeth about Franco's brain scan, which Patrick hoped would give them some definitive answers about Franco's seizure and outrageous claims. Patrick walked up to announce that the results of the tests, including the scan, were in. Carly demanded to see the scan, but Patrick pointed out that the tests were for medical personnel only. Patrick invited Elizabeth to join him as he went to a nearby room with a computer. Elizabeth wondered if Patrick thought that it was possible that Franco had a brain tumor, so Patrick admitted that he wasn't sure. Elizabeth recalled that Jason had once had a brain tumor, prompting Patrick to remind her that he had been hired to treat Jason.

Patrick pulled up Franco's medical records to review the scan. The scan revealed that Franco had a large mass on his frontal lobe. Elizabeth realized that it was a lot like the one that Jason had. "Exactly like Jason's," Patrick told her. Carly barged into the room as Patrick confirmed that Franco had a brain tumor. Patrick turned around when he heard Carly gasp. He warned her that she wasn't authorized to be in the roombecause she wasn't a family member.

Carly argued that Franco was her son's uncle, so she was close enough to family. Elizabeth gently asked Carly to leave, but Patrick realized that it was pointless, so he agreed that Carly could stay. He told both women that Franco's tumor was in the area of the brain that was responsible for distinguishing good from evil and right from wrong. According to Patrick, the tumor had been undiagnosed for quite some time. Carly wondered if it was possible that Franco had tampered with the medical records, but Patrick assured Carly that the scan was legitimate. He added that Franco's tumor explained the delusions and schizophrenic behavior.

7/19 In a hospital room, Patrick told Elizabeth and Carly that Franco had a brain tumor that could cause delusions and schizophrenia. Carly refused to accept that Franco had a brain tumor because she was certain that it was merely another of Franco's games. Carly insisted that Franco enjoyed manipulating people, so she suggested that Franco had paid off a lab technician to plant the results of the scan. Patrick assured Carly that the scan was legitimate and accurate, but Carly maintained that Franco had found a way to trick everyone into believing that Franco had a tumor when in reality Franco was fine.

Carly turned to Elizabeth for help by reminding Elizabeth how Franco had managed to hack into the hospital's computer system when he had kidnapped Aiden. Patrick decided to run additional scans to confirm the diagnosis, but Carly thought it was pointless because Jason's tumor had never made Jason behave the way that Franco acted. Patrick explained that Franco's tumor had been growing for a long time, but Carly was adamant that Franco had faked the tumor. She decided to track Franco down to choke the truth out of him.

After Carly stormed off, Patrick warned Elizabeth that Franco's surgery would be a marathon procedure. Elizabeth assured Patrick that she would clear his schedule, but Patrick was frustrated because he had already missed Britt's birthing class and Emma's soccer game because of Franco. Elizabeth assured Patrick that there would be another soccer game and then added that Britt had invited Nikolas to attend the birthing class. Patrick confided that he hadn't realized that Nikolas and Britt knew each other, so Elizabeth explained that Britt had met Nikolas on the Fourth of July.

Patrick was certain that Nikolas would soon discover that Britt was trouble. Elizabeth feared that it would be too late, so she asked Patrick to talk to Nikolas. Patrick was reluctant to get involved, prompting him to suggest that Elizabeth talk to Nikolas. Elizabeth feared that Nikolas would think that she had an ulterior motive. She was also concerned about how A.J. would react. Patrick relented and promised to think about it, so Elizabeth thanked him.

At the elevator, Patrick revealed that he was off to find Franco to give Franco the bad news. Elizabeth thought that it was ironic that after all the "hell" that Franco had put Jason through, Franco had ended up with a tumor just like Jason's. Patrick confided that Franco would die if they didn't operate.

7/24 At the Drake residence, Patrick was deep in thought when Sabrina woke up. She asked what was troubling him, so he revealed that he had been thinking about Franco's surgery. Sabrina had assumed that Franco's seizure had been the result of the attack, so Patrick explained that the beating might have exacerbated the situation, but the seizure was the symptom of a brain tumor on Franco's frontal lobe.

Sabrina knew that Franco had done some terrible things, but she confessed that no one deserved to suffer like that. Patrick conceded that the tumor, which had been undiagnosed for years, might have caused Franco's violent behavior. Sabrina wondered if Franco would be normal once the tumor was removed, so Patrick explained that it was possible. However, Patrick confided that it was a difficult operation that could result in brain damage.

Sabrina insisted that Franco would be in the best of hands because Patrick would do everything humanly possible to save Franco's life. Patrick admitted that Sabrina's unwavering support meant everything to him. He felt lucky to have her in his life. Sabrina smiled as he leaned down to kiss her.Felix shoved Brad up against the wall as he angrily asked if Brad enjoyed making everyone miserable. Sabrina ran up to pull Felix away from Brad. She insisted that Brad wasn't worth getting in trouble over, so Felix backed down. Brad fled before Felix changed his mind.

Felix explained that he had been furious because Brad had tried to blackmail "kissing cousins." Felix filled Sabrina in on Brad's attempt to force Michael to have sex with Brad and Michael's discovery that Brad and Britt had been conspiring against someone. Sabrina was horrified by what Brad had done, so she was relieved that Michael had managed to force Brad to back off. However, she confessed that was wanted to know what Brad and Britt had been talking about.

Patrick entered Franco’s room, so Carly invited Patrick to explain everything to Franco. Patrick told Franco about the brain tumor and revealed that Franco would die without an operation. However, Patrick warned Franco that the surgery wasn't without risk. Patrick revealed that the surgery could kill Franco, but Franco realized that it was his only hope. Carly watched as Franco signed the consent form authorizing the operation.

Sabrina gave Patrick her mother's stethoscope for luck. Nearby, Ava approached Franco to have a few last words with him before the surgery. Franco admitted that he might not make it through surgery, so Ava produced a proxy for Franco to sign. She assured him that she would use the votes to do what was best for their daughter, so he signed the proxy.

7/26 "Wipe that smile off of your face," Dr. Obrecht growled from a nearby table. "Your life is about to go up in smoke," Britt's mother added as Britt tensed.

7/29 At General Hospital, Patrick told Morgan and Carly that Franco had survived surgery and was in recovery.  Patrick departed to see patients. Sam found Patrick and asked how soon Franco could donate bone marrow for Danny.

Outside Kelly’s, Dr. Obrecht warned Britt that she had competition. Sabrina walked up and asked Britt about the baby. Britt said that Patrick's baby was fine. Sabrina said that she accepted that Britt was carrying Patrick's baby, so Britt did not need to remind her. Sabrina asked for an introduction to Britt's friend, but Britt said she had just been asking the time from a stranger. Sabrina accepted her answer and entered Kelly's.

Dr. Obrecht said that the mouse was beginning to roar but at least had had the decency to acknowledge her, unlike Britt. Britt wanted to get away from Kelly's before Sabrina emerged again, so Britt and her mother went to the park.

Felix found Sabrina at Kelly's and told her that he had huge news. Felix said that his source had confirmed that Patrick was not the father of Britt's baby. Sabrina wanted proof, but Felix replied that his source had only told him that Britt's secret involved Britt's baby and Britt's mother, whom Felix had heard about from Britt herself. Felix admitted that Brad was his source. Felix believed that Brad had been telling the truth about Britt's mother. When Felix suggested that they find out about Britt's mother.

Dr. Obrecht admired the change in Sabrina as well as Sabrina's simple beauty. Britt wanted to know which side Dr. Obrecht was on. The doctor assured her daughter that Sabrina could not hold a candle to Britt and then chided Britt for being fat. Britt pointed out that she was in her third trimester, but Dr. Obrecht merely observed that fat was fat.

Dr. Obrecht said that she was there to warn Britt that the concubine and her sassy gay friend were plotting against Britt. Britt said that it was old news and that her mother need not have ridden her flying monkey across the Atlantic to tell Britt something she already knew. Britt said that Felix and Sabrina were not very good at plotting, and Britt was always one step ahead. Dr. Obrecht said that Britt was wrong and that if she did not change her ways, Britt would never get Patrick back. Britt counters, “So what if I don’t?”

DVD #19B Patrick told Sam that he was very sorry, but it might not be possible for Franco to donate. Sam was in tears as Patrick explained that the brain tumor had to be biopsied to determine whether or not it was cancerous. If the tumor was found to be cancerous, then Franco's bone marrow could also carry cancerous cells and would be unsafe for Danny. Patrick advised Sam to keep looking for a donor while they waited for the results of the biopsy.

Sabrina said that she might have just met her outside Kelly's with Britt. Sabrina asked what Britt had told Felix about her mother. Felix said that Britt had described her mother as a mad scientist who kidnapped people and experimented on them. Felix assumed that Britt had been exaggerating, but Sabrina said, "Maybe not."

Britt told her mother that she had tried everything that Dr. Obrecht had suggested, but nothing was working. She was no closer to getting Patrick back. Dr. Obrecht said that it was Britt's fault that the plan was not working. Britt thought that she should cut her losses and tell the truth. Dr. Obrecht asked if Britt was mad and advised her to stop casting her eyes in Nikolas' direction. Britt said she and Nikolas were just friends because Nikolas was still pining over Elizabeth. Britt stood up to Dr.

Obrecht and wanted to know why Britt should follow her mother's advice when her mother had failed so spectacularly in gaining Britt's father's love. Britt said that she was a fool for listening to her mother tell Britt to make the same mistakes that her mom had made. Britt said that Dr. Obrecht was an old woman living through her daughter. Dr. Obrecht slapped Britt. Britt told her mother that she had just hit a pregnant woman in the face. Dr. Obrecht said that Britt deserved it but that Britt was right. Dr. Obrecht had not won Britt's father's love.

Dr. Obrecht said that Britt could succeed where Dr. Obrecht had failed because of all that they had done to make sure of it. Dr. Obrecht told Britt that all she had to do was follow through because Patrick would fall in love with the baby when it was born. Britt replied that they both knew that it was not Patrick's baby.

7/30 At the Drake residence, Sabrina greeted Patrick with a cold beer when he arrived home. She explained that Anna and Duke had decided to keep Emma for the night, so she had stopped by to spend the evening with Patrick. Patrick accepted the beer with a smile and kissed her. Afterwards, Patrick handed Sabrina's mother's stethoscope to Sabrina as he confessed that the lucky charm had worked. Sabrina insisted that Patrick deserved all of the credit and then shifted gears because she sensed that something was troubling him.

Patrick revealed that Franco was a match for Danny, but Franco might not be able to donate bone marrow because Patrick had found potential cancerous tissue while removing Franco's brain tumor. Patrick felt terrible for Sam because he knew what it was like to be in her shoes. He confided that Emma had been conceived because of a broken condom, so he and Robin had been afraid that their child would be born HIV positive. Patrick admitted that it had been a difficult nine months, waiting to find out if Emma was healthy.

Patrick confessed that all his fears had disappeared when he had held Emma for the first time, but reality had crashed in when he had spotted a nick on her ear. Sabrina was curious how long it had taken for Patrick and Robin to find out that Emma was okay. Patrick assured her that it had hadn't been long, but it had felt like an eternity because he had loved his daughter. However, his point was that he wanted Sabrina to know that he would love his child with Britt every bit as much as he loved Emma.

Sabrina assured Patrick that she fully expected him to love both of his children equally but thought he should know that Felix had uncovered something. Sabrina told Patrick about Felix's talk with Brad and Brad's revelation that Britt was hiding something about the baby -- and Britt's mother was involved. Sabrina was curious if Britt had ever mentioned her parents to Patrick, so Patrick confessed that Britt had only said that her parents lived in Europe. However, it didn't matter to Patrick because he had accepted that Britt's baby was his.

In the park, Britt tearfully admitted that Patrick would never love her because he was not the father of her baby. Dr. Obrecht was furious that Britt would say that, but Britt reminded her mother that it was the truth. Britt pointed out that she had only told Patrick that he was the father of the baby because Britt had hoped to get Patrick back. Britt confessed that the only time that Patrick had registered any interest in her was when he had felt the baby kick.

Britt was certain that Patrick hated her, but Dr. Obrecht strongly disagreed. Dr. Obrecht conceded that Patrick had been shocked and outraged by Britt's announcement during the Nurses Ball, but Dr. Obrecht had seen a "tendril of joy," as well. According to Dr. Obrecht, she had known then that Patrick would fall in love with the baby. Britt argued that Patrick wasn't the father of the baby, but Dr. Obrecht countered that Patrick never had to know that.

Britt warned her mother that Felix and Sabrina continued to work against her, but Dr. Obrecht pointed out that Dr. Obrecht had managed to outsmart the two nurses when they had tried to run a secret paternity test. Dr. Obrecht bragged that no one, including Ellie, had been the wiser when Dr. Obrecht had switched samples for Ellie to test. Dr. Obrecht advised Britt to remain vigilant, but Britt complained that she felt overwhelmed.

Dr. Obrecht was disgusted by her daughter's weakness and refused to offer Britt any sympathy. Britt insisted that she felt guilty about her lie, but Dr. Obrecht argued that it was a wasted emotion. Dr. Obrecht assured Britt that Patrick loved being a father, even to a "brat" like Emma. Britt assured her mother that she didn't mind lying to Patrick about the baby. However, Britt felt bad for the baby's biological father because he didn't know about the child. Dr. Obrecht warned Britt to keep quiet, so no one else learned the truth, especially Patrick.

At Kelly's, Spinelli called Ellie to ask her if she wanted him to pick up a BLT for her. Ellie declined, so Spinelli ended the call. Felix struck up a conversation with Spinelli by offering to buy Spinelli's lunch in exchange for a favor. Spinelli was surprised when Felix confessed that he wanted Spinelli to dig into Britt's past. Spinelli revealed that he had been working on it since Ellie had been passed up for a promotion.

Felix perked up when Spinelli mentioned that Spinelli and Ellie had found a medical file in Brad's desk that Spinelli suspected contained incriminating information. Felix was certain that the missing file held proof that Britt had lied about the paternity of her baby. Spinelli reminded Felix that Ellie had handled the paternity test, so Felix rushed to explain that he suspected that Britt and Brad had found a way to tamper with the test without Ellie's knowledge.

Spinelli questioned if Brad could be trusted, so Felix conceded that he wasn't certain, but the "honest Brad" had seemed almost human. Felix conceded that Brad had been involved in some shady things, but Britt's mother was the keeper of Britt's secret, so Felix needed to find out who the woman was. Felix explained that they needed to do it for Patrick, who didn't deserve to grow attached to a child that wasn't Patrick's. Spinelli agreed to help, so Felix admitted that he didn't have a lot of money to pay for the investigation. Spinelli assured Felix that it would be on the house because Spinelli wanted answers for Ellie.

8/12 Dr. Obrecht sat in the dark, waiting for Britt. She spoke to an old photo that pictured Faison with Anna and Robin. Dr. Obrecht told Faison that Anna had spurned him and that Faison's obsession with Anna needed to end. Dr. Obrecht said that she would end it. Britt was surprised to find her mother waiting in her apartment and voiced her concern that one of her nosy roommates might see Dr. Obrecht.

Dr. Obrecht dismissed Britt's concerns. She said that, while waiting, she had thought up a brilliant idea of how to win Patrick over to Britt, even if the baby Britt carried was not Patrick's. Dr. Obrecht launched into a criticism of the apartment's décor before telling Britt that she should be living with Patrick instead of the cramped squalid flat she was occupying. After that tirade, Dr. Obrecht questioned Britt's earlier whereabouts. Britt admitted that she had been to the movies with Nikolas.

Britt's date elicited another tongue-lashing from Dr. Obrecht, who cautioned Britt not to be distracted from her goal of getting Patrick to commit to her. Britt said that she had tried everything, and nothing had worked. Britt wanted to give up the scheme, but Dr. Obrecht insisted that there was still a way. Dr. Obrecht called Sabrina a "twit" and chided Britt because she had not matched the competition.

Dr. Obrecht told Britt that the only option left to them was to remove the competition. Britt asked if Dr. Obrecht meant to kill Sabrina. Dr. Obrecht said that a person was capable of anything if pushed too far. Sabrina said, "Not me. Maybe you, and certainly Daddy," before Obrecht stopped her and told her not to be disrespectful of her father, who was a brilliant man with a lot to give.

Britt replied that her father had given his love to another woman. Dr. Obrecht called Britt "cruel." Britt said that she hated to see her mother suffering from unrequited love. Dr. Obrecht returned to the topic of snaring Patrick. Britt said that all she wanted was to get to her birthing class, and she did not want to kill Sabrina. As Britt left, Dr. Obrecht said that she would lock up when she left.

Dr. Obrecht pulled out the photo for another chat with Faison. She told him that they could have been a family but that he had chosen Anna's family instead. She told him that there was still time for him to change his mind. Dr. Obrecht put on a blonde wig as she continued to address the photograph of Faison, Anna, and Robin. She told Faison that Robin would soon be dead at the hands of Jerry Jacks, and Anna would also die very soon.

Outside the classroom, Felix told Sabrina and Patrick that he had heard from Spinelli, who had information about Britt's mother. Patrick said that he could not go with Felix to meet Spinelli because he had a birthing class with Britt that he really wanted to attend. Sabrina said that she could meet up later. Felix left.

Patrick told Sabrina that he appreciated that Felix wanted to help, but as Britt got closer to delivery, Patrick was becoming more and more invested in the child and did not want to cause either Britt or the baby unnecessary stress. Sabrina told Patrick that that was what she loved about him. They kissed. Britt cleared her throat.

Patrick showed Britt that he had arrived with a pillow as requested and assured Britt that he would not leave either Britt or the baby hanging because the baby was as much Patrick's as Britt's. Just out of Patrick's earshot, Maxie joined Britt, who quipped to Maxie that a fake father was as good as a real one.

As Patrick and Britt finished their practice session, Patrick was emotional when he admitted he could not wait to fall in love with their soon-to-be-born baby. Britt looked at Patrick and said that there was something that she needed to tell him.

Felix met with Spinelli, who had news. Sabrina arrived a few minutes later, and Spinelli explained that Liesl Westbourne had become a brilliant doctor, but later her medical license had been stripped because she had performed experimental, unlicensed surgeries on live patients. Spinelli said that Westbourne had disappeared shortly after and had not surfaced again.

Anna regretted that Robert could not attend Mac and Felicia's wedding and blamed Dr. Obrecht, the "Teutonic bitch." Duke said all he could remember about Dr. Obrecht was that she had smelled of sauerkraut. Spinelli showed Sabrina a German news article that he had pulled up on his laptop. Sabrina recognized the news photo as a younger version of the woman that Britt had met outside Kelly's.

Liesl Westbourne, Dr. Obrecht, walked into the Floating Rib, wearing pink-tinted glasses and a blonde wig. She stood at the bar near Anna and Duke. Anna told Duke that Robert was too stubborn to die and that even though Dr. Obrecht was a dangerous woman, Anna intended to have the good doctor's head on a platter, waiting, when Robert woke up. At the bar, Dr. Obrecht pulled out a bottle of propofor.

8/13 At the Floating Rib, Sabrina looked at the picture of Dr. Obrecht that had accompanied the online news article about the doctor's scandalous past. She realized that she had seen the woman in the picture at Kelly's a few days earlier.

Moments later, Ellie arrived and joined Spinelli, Felix, and Sabrina. Felix revealed that Spinelli had uncovered information about Britt's mother, who had been spotted in town recently. Ellie was shocked when Sabrina told her that Britt's mother had been caught experimenting on live patients, so Spinelli added that the diabolical doctor had lost her license and then had disappeared.

Dr. Obrecht, sporting a shoulder-length blonde wig and tinted glasses, stood near the bar. She watched Sabrina and her friends as she made her way to the back of the bar, where she slipped behind a corner to eavesdrop on the table.

Sabrina confessed to her friends that she had no idea if Britt's mother was in cahoots with Britt, but Felix wondered if perhaps Britt's unborn child was the subject of one of Britt's mother's experiments. Sabrina admitted that she wouldn't be surprised because Britt's mother seemed terrifying. Sabrina suddenly noticed the time and became concerned when she realized that Patrick was late.

At the hospital, Britt asked if something was troubling Patrick. Patrick assured Britt that it wasn't anything but then admitted that he couldn't wait to meet their child because he had fallen in love with it. Patrick reached out to place his hand on her belly to feel the baby kick. Britt's expression filled with guilt as she confessed that she had something to tell him. Patrick looked up expectantly as Britt recalled talking to her mother in the park about Patrick not being the baby's father.

"It's about the baby," Britt quietly said. She admitted that Patrick had a right to know that she hadn't been honest with him. "About what?" Patrick asked. Britt appeared on the verge of confessing when she was seized by a sharp pain in the abdomen. Patrick became concerned when he saw the fear in Britt's expression as she doubled over. He immediately helped her to her feet as he promised her that everything would be okay.

At the Floating Rib, Duke and Anna talked about Dr. Obrecht. "God knows what she's capable of and who will fall victim to her next," Anna commented. However, Anna refused to allow the doctor to ruin their evening because they were there to celebrate Mac and Felicia's impending nuptials.

Moments later, Maxie, flanked by Dante and Lulu, arrived. Maxie announced that Mac and Felicia's car had been spotted, so the happy couple would arrive soon. Everyone gathered close to the door to wait for Mac and Felicia. "Surprise!" everyone yelled when Mac and Felicia entered the bar. "And I have a big surprise for you, Anna Devane," Dr. Obrecht quietly growled. Dr. Obrecht took a seat at the back of the bar then pulled out a portrait of Cesar Faison with Anna and Robin. Dr. Obrecht ripped the picture in half, so only Cesar appeared in the portrait.

Mac and Felicia thanked their guests and then turned to Maxie, certain that she had put the party together. Maxie immediately credited Duke and Anna, but Duke and Anna insisted that Maxie had been the driving force behind the party. Maxie seemed uncomfortable with the praise, so she changed the subject by confessing that she had almost missed the party because the birthing class had run late.

Meanwhile, Sabrina worried about Patrick because he hadn't arrived. Sabrina pulled Dante aside to ask if he had seen Patrick, so he told her that Patrick had been with Britt after the birthing class. After Dante left, Felix suggested that perhaps Britt had created some drama to delay Patrick.

Maxie went to the stage and kicked off the party with a karaoke rendition of "Going To The Chapel." The crowd quickly joined in, including Mac and Felicia. In the back of the bar, Dr. Obrecht appeared disgusted as she watched everyone sing and have fun.

Dr. Obrecht made her way to the bar to ask for a drink. The bartender thought that her accent was interesting, so he asked her where she was from. "New Jersey," Dr. Obrecht said as she sneered. The bartender walked away to fetch her drink as Duke approached the bar. Dr. Obrecht carefully turned her back, so Duke wouldn't recognize her.

Anna joined Duke at the bar as he expressed reservations about singing karaoke. Anna chuckled and hugged Duke. Dr. Obrecht quietly invited Anna to drink up and enjoy because it was Anna's last night on earth. Anna decided that it was time to offer a toast to the happy couple, but Duke pointed out that Kevin and Lucy hadn't arrived.

Dr. Obrecht pulled a vial of propofol from her purse and waited for an opportunity to use it. After Anna set a glass of champagne down on the bar to watch another performance on the stage, Dr. Obrecht took the opportunity to empty the contents of the vial into Anna's glass.

Nearby, Sabrina left Patrick a voicemail message, even though she was certain that Patrick hadn't picked up the call because he was on his way to the bar. After she ended the call, she confessed to Felix that she was worried because she couldn't imagine why Patrick was so late. Felix snidely suggested that perhaps Patrick and Britt had attended Britt's mother's special birthing class for mutant babies. Sabrina suspected that Felix had been correct about Britt creating a crisis to keep Patrick from the party, so Sabrina decided to go to the hospital.

At the hospital, Patrick helped Britt to an examination room, so he could do a sonogram to find out why Britt had experienced pain in the abdomen. Britt instructed Patrick where to move the wand of the machine. Patrick became alarmed when Britt suddenly gasped. Concerned, he asked her what was wrong, so Britt stared at the monitor as she revealed that the baby was a boy. "We're having a boy," Britt said as tears filled her eyes. Patrick looked at the monitor and confirmed that the baby was indeed a boy. He smiled as he and Britt assured themselves that the baby appeared to be healthy.

Britt admitted that the mysterious pain had subsided, so she concluded that it had been Braxton Hicks contractions or a pulled ligament. Patrick put the wand away then helped Britt sit up. She apologized for overreacting, since she should have known better as a doctor. Patrick assured her that he understood her concern, but he was curious what she had intended to tell him earlier.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Sabrina entered the room where the birthing class had been held. Everyone had left, so Sabrina called Patrick's cell phone. She heard it ring, prompting her to find it on the floor. She realized why Patrick hadn't returned her calls, so she tucked the phone away and went to the nurses' station to ask a nurse if she had seen Patrick.

In the examination room, Britt revealed that she had never intended to have an abortion; she had lied to "kick-start" Patrick into caring about the baby. She also revealed that she had lied about being sick with hyperemesis gravidarum. Britt admitted that she had hoped to manipulate Patrick into inviting her to move in with him by feigning a depilating case of morning sickness. According to Britt, she had been driven by her love for Patrick, but she regretted everything that she had done.

Patrick wondered if there had been anything else that Britt had lied about. Britt assured him that she had told him everything. Patrick appreciated that Britt had been truthful and that she had done what she had because she had feelings for him, but he made it clear that he was with Sabrina. Britt assured him that she had accepted his relationship with Sabrina, even though she didn't like it. Patrick admitted that Britt's honesty had given him hope that he and Britt would be able to raise their child together, prompting Britt to promise that she wanted what was best for their son.

Patrick was overcome with emotion at the reminder that he was about to have a son with Britt, so he reached out to touch her stomach. Britt smiled and then hugged Patrick. Moments later, Sabrina entered the room. Patrick immediately pulled away from Britt and apologized to Sabrina for missing the party. Sabrina tried to hide her irritation as Patrick told her about Britt's scare.

However, Sabrina's annoyance turned to surprise when he revealed that he and Britt had discovered that Britt was pregnant with a boy. Sabrina congratulated both Patrick and Britt, prompting Britt to apologize for keeping Patrick away from the party. After Patrick and Sabrina left, Britt smiled with satisfaction as she realized that perhaps her mother had been right. "This could work out after all," Britt murmured.

At the bar, Duke conceded to Anna that karaoke hadn't been a bad idea. Dr. Obrecht watched with bated breath as Anna picked up the glass of poisoned champagne to take a sip but then decided that a toast was in order. Dr. Obrecht's frustration mounted as Duke and Anna went to the stage to make a toast.

Duke talked about Mac and Felicia's timeless love and how honored Duke and Anna were to be Mac and Felicia's best man and maid of honor. Next, Anna talked about how happy she was for Mac and Felicia. However, Anna noted the absence of Mac's brother, Robert, whom she hoped everyone would keep in their hearts the following day when Mac and Felicia married. Anna was certain that Robert would be happy for his brother and Felicia. Anna held up the glass of champagne to toast to Mac and Felicia.

"Drink it. Now, damn you," Dr. Obrecht snarled under her breath as she waited for Anna to drink the lethal beverage. Anna was about to take a sip of the champagne when Kevin and Lucy arrived. Everyone grew quiet as Lucy ranted at Kevin for using the "V-word." After several moments, Lucy noticed the silence, looked around, and discovered that everyone was watching her and Kevin. Lucy immediately apologized to Mac and Felicia, but Felicia assured Lucy that it was okay. Lucy explained why she was upset but became so worked up that she ended up stomping off to a corner, muttering under her breath.

Dr. Obrecht decided to join in on the festivities by performing her rendition of "Is That All There Is" as everyone broke away into small groups to talk. Moments later, Lucy glanced at the woman singing the depressing karaoke song. Her eyes narrowed as she confided that there was something familiar about the woman. Felix looked at the blonde woman but didn't recognize her. Lucy insisted that she never forgot a face and then suddenly recalled an encounter with the woman in the park following Lulu's disappearance.

At the bar, Duke and Anna decided to have a private toast, so they clinked their glasses together and took a drink.

On the stage, Dr. Obrecht continued her performance with a satisfied smile as she watched Anna drink the drug-laced champagne. As Dr. Obrecht's performance ended, Lucy decided that perhaps she should tell Anna about the strange woman who had performed the sad song, so Lucy approached Anna. Anna looked around for the woman that Lucy had described, but the blonde woman had disappeared. Duke decided to get some fresh air. Anna noticed that he appeared flushed, but he assured her that he would be fine.

Meanwhile, Mac and Kevin appeared on stage, dressed as women. They dedicated a song to Felicia and Lucy and then entertained the crowd. Felicia and Lucy laughed and applauded at the men's antics.

Outside, Duke was stunned when he saw Dr. Obrecht leave the bar. He grabbed the evil doctor's arm, but quickly collapsed as he struggled to breathe. Dr. Obrecht realized that Duke had consumed the champagne tainted with propofol. She cursed Anna for escaping death. After Dr. Obrecht left, Anna stepped outside to check on Duke. She rushed to his side when she saw him unconscious on the ground.

8/14 At Felix and Sabrina's apartment, Dr. Obrecht read the Port Charles Press, which featured a front-page story about Duke's collapse at the Floating Rib. Dr. Obrecht realized that Duke had picked up Anna's glass of champagne that had been laced with propofol. She was furious that her plot to kill Anna had failed, but she refused to waste time on regrets.

Moments later, Britt emerged from the bedroom. Britt was shocked when she saw her mother standing in the living room, so she scolded Dr. Obrecht for being reckless. Dr. Obrecht assured her daughter that Britt's roommates were gone, likely dealing with Duke's illness. Britt was stunned when her mother showed her the newspaper headline about Duke's collapse.

Britt demanded to know if her mother had had anything to do with what had happened to Duke, prompting Dr. Obrecht to act offended by the suggestion. Britt insisted that her mother would do anything for Britt's father, Cesar Faison, so Dr. Obrecht carefully explained that she wouldn't waste time going after Cesar's romantic rival when she could go after her own.

Later, Dr. Obrecht fetched a tray of food for Britt because Britt needed to keep up her strength. Britt's smile faded when her mother added that it wasn't as if Britt could get any fatter. Britt resented that her mother never missed an opportunity to criticize Britt. "Spare me the litany of your wounded feelings," Dr. Obrecht sneered as she poured herself something to drink. Dr. Obrecht wanted to hear about Britt's birthing class and how things had gone with Patrick.

Dr. Obrecht nearly choked when Britt confessed to telling Patrick the truth. Britt quickly clarified that she hadn't told Patrick about the baby's paternity, but she had admitted that she had lied about the abortion and illness. Dr. Obrecht expected Britt to reveal that Patrick had kicked Britt to the curb, but Britt surprised her mother by claiming that Britt and Patrick were closer than ever. "And this sealed the deal," Britt added as she showed her mother the sonogram picture of the baby. Dr. Obrecht's eyes lit up as she looked at the image.

"Is that a Schwanzer?" Dr. Obrecht asked with glee.

"Looks like it," Britt replied as she munched on popcorn.

Britt admitted that Patrick had been happy about the baby's gender, too, because he had been hoping for a boy. Dr. Obrecht insisted that Britt name the little boy Cesar because it would be a "marvelous tribute" to Britt's father. Britt refused to consider it, but Dr. Obrecht ignored her daughter because Dr. Obrecht anticipated sharing the wonderful news with Cesar.

Britt's temper flared, so she suggested that her mother fly to Cesar's side right away. Britt picked up her mother's bag, intending to shove it into her mother's arms, but a blonde wig tumbled out of the bag. Dr. Obrecht tried to claim that she had been considering a makeover, but Britt didn't believe her mother. Dr. Obrecht protested as Britt suddenly dug through the bag. The doctor tried to stop her daughter, but Britt found the vial of propofol.

At the hospital, Anna stood at Duke's bedside, holding back her tears, as she watched an unconscious Duke breathe with assistance. Anna regretted that she hadn't cherished their reunion as she should have because Cesar Faison had clouded her mind, but she was grateful that Duke hadn't given up on her. She promised Duke that she loved him, so she refused to lose him again.

Moments later, Patrick entered the hospital room. He told Anna that the MRI and CT scans had ruled out a brain trauma, such as an aneurysm or stroke. Patrick also assured her that Duke hadn't had a heart attack. However, the toxicology screens had indicated that Duke's blood stream had had "overdose levels" of propofol. Anna was certain that Duke hadn't taken the powerful sedative willingly, so she suspected that someone had tried to kill Duke.

Anna conceded that Duke had many enemies, so it could have been any number of people. However, she was more concerned about whether or not Duke would make it. Patrick reminded Anna that Duke was a fighter, so Patrick was confident that Duke would recover. Anna smiled with relief, but she was curious how someone could have poisoned Duke. Patrick explained that propofol was a fast-acting drug, so Duke had been given the drug shortly before he had collapsed. Anna recalled sipping champagne with Duke before he had gone outside for fresh air, so she realized that someone had tampered with Duke's drink.

In the hallway, Spinelli and Dante approached Felix to get an update on Duke. Spinelli was shocked when Felix revealed that propofol had been found in Duke's system. Spinelli recognized the name of the deadly drug that had killed Michael Jackson, but Felix assured Spinelli and Dante that Duke was stable.

Dante decided to check on Anna, so he entered the Duke's hospital room. Patrick quickly filled Dante in on what they had discovered and then left to follow up on some other tests. Anna assured Dante that Duke was expected to pull through, but she confessed that she was too upset to think like a cop. Dante assured Anna that he was there for her the same way that she had been there for him when Lulu had disappeared, so he promised to help Anna find the person responsible for the attempt on Duke's life.

Dante was curious if Duke had mentioned having trouble with anyone recently. Anna admitted that Duke had been investigating Ava Jerome because Duke had suspected that Ava was a member of the Jerome crime family. She suddenly recalled Lucy mentioning seeing a strange blonde woman at the Floating Rib during the party, but the blonde woman had disappeared before Lucy could point her out to Anna. Anna was certain that the mystery woman had been Ava Jerome, so Dante agreed to pay Ava a visit.

After Dante left, Patrick returned with an update. To Anna's delight, he revealed that Duke should wake up soon. Anna thanked Patrick for everything and then ordered him to go home to spend time with Emma. Patrick was reluctant to leave until Duke regained consciousness, but Anna was adamant. After Patrick left, Anna returned to Duke's side to confess that she was more in love with Duke than she had ever been and that she didn't want to live without him. Anna's was startled when Duke's eyes suddenly snapped open and he groaned her name.

In the hallway, Spinelli looked up propofol on the Internet and quickly surmised that someone had tried to kill Duke. Felix was curious who would want to kill a good guy like Duke, so Spinelli revealed that Duke hadn't always been one of the good guys.

Eventually, Spinelli and Felix's conversation drifted to the topic of Britt's mother when Felix asked if Spinelli had learned anything new. Spinelli confessed that he suspected that Liesl Westbourne had assumed a new identity after her medical license had been stripped away. Felix feared that they would never track down Britt's mother, but Spinelli was confident that he could uncover the woman's alias.

Moments later, Anna ran up to fetch Felix because Duke was awake. Felix entered Duke's room and quickly determined that Duke was stable and on the road to recovery. Relieved, Anna watched Felix leave and then turned her attention to Duke. Duke wanted to know what had happened, so Anna shared her theory that Ava had tried to kill him.Duke suddenly recalled his encounter with Dr. Obrecht outside of the bar. "No, it wasn't Ava," Duke told Anna. Anna suspected that Duke was confused, but he assured her that he wasn't. Duke insisted that he had seen Dr. Obrecht in disguise, so the evil doctor was in Port Charles.

In the hallway, Felix stopped to let Spinelli know that Duke was awake and would make a full recovery. Spinelli was relieved, so he decided to let the wedding party know. Moments later, Spinelli's laptop beeped to alert him that one of his searches on Liesl Westbourne had yielded results.

At the Drake residence, Emma practiced sprinkling petals on the living room floor when Sabrina emerged from the bedroom. Surprised, Emma asked where Patrick was. Sabrina explained that Patrick was at the hospital, prompting Emma to worry that he would miss Mac and Felicia's wedding. Sabrina gently explained that Mac and Felicia likely wouldn't get married that day because "Uncle Duke" had fallen sick and was in the hospital. Emma worried that her grandmother, Anna, would be upset, but then decided that Patrick would cure whatever was ailing Duke.

Later, Sabrina praised Emma's card-making skills but wondered why Emma had drawn a picture of Duke in a dress. Emma explained that it was a tutu, which she had made Duke wear on the night that Sabrina and Patrick had been "hooking up." Sabrina was taken aback by Emma's use of the expression, so Emma admitted that she had learned it from Felix. Sabrina appeared concerned but then became distracted when someone knocked on the door.

Emma ran for the door, expecting her father, but Sabrina picked up the little girl before Emma could answer the door with a reminder that Patrick would use the door key. Sabrina opened the door, and a deliveryman greeted her. The deliveryman explained that he had an order of baby furniture for Patrick, so Sabrina agreed to sign for it, prompting the man to assume that Sabrina was the expectant mother. Sabrina was forced to admit that the baby wasn't hers.

Later, Emma looked at all of the boxes of furniture scattered around the living room and wondered if the new baby would live in the house. Sabrina explained that the baby would live part of the time with Britt and the other part with Patrick and Emma. Emma confessed that she wouldn't mind as long as the baby was a girl.

Shortly afterwards, Patrick arrived home. Emma ran into her father's waiting arms and was swept up into a bear hug. Sabrina was eager for news about Duke, so he told her that Duke had awakened and was expected to make a full recovery. Emma bragged that she had known that her father would make Duke better. Patrick chuckled as he thanked his daughter for her confidence in him.

Emma changed the subject by pointing to all of the boxes that had been delivered. She explained that the boxes contained baby furniture, so Patrick invited Emma to help him put everything together. Emma didn't appear enthusiastic about the idea, so he offered to let Emma pick out the color of the baby's bedroom. "Pink," Emma immediately decided.

Patrick gently suggested that Emma's baby brother might not like to have a pink room, prompting Emma to scowl. Emma was not pleased that Britt was going to have a boy, so she jumped off of her father's lap. "This baby thing is just getting better and better," Emma grumbled as she marched off.

Patrick quickly followed his daughter to carry her back to the sofa, so they could talk about the baby. Emma made it clear that she didn't want a brother, but Patrick admitted that he could use someone on his side because he was outnumbered with Sabrina and Emma. Patrick pointed out some advantages of having a little brother until Emma began to see the baby in a different light. Emma conceded that a baby brother might not be so bad, after all, so she decided to go to her bedroom to pick out a few stuffed animals for the baby.

After Emma walked away, Sabrina admitted that Patrick's talk with Emma had helped her too. She confessed that she had been surprised by the delivery of the furniture because it had made everything more real to her. Patrick hoped that Sabrina was okay with him raising his son, so Sabrina assured him that she was. Sabrina also revealed that she was happy that he had made peace with Britt because it would be better for the baby if both parents were in harmony. However, Sabrina had concerns about what Britt had told Patrick about Britt's mother.

8/15 At the hospital, Anna was certain that Duke had been mistaken about seeing Liesl Obrecht outside of the Floating Rib before he collapsed, but Duke reminded Anna that he knew the diabolical doctor well. He was certain that Dr. Obrecht had drugged him. Everything fell into place for Anna when she recalled that Dr. Obrecht had injected Robert with propofol, so she asked if Dr. Obrecht had said anything that might lead them to her.

Duke shook his head as he admitted that he had passed out moments after recognizing the evil doctor. Anna knew that she had to search for Dr. Obrecht, but she was reluctant to leave Duke's side. Duke insisted that she go, but he warned her to be careful because Dr. Obrecht was dangerous. Anna pointed out that she was dangerous too.

In the hallway, Spinelli hit a couple of keys on his laptop and learned that Liesl Westbourne had changed her name to Liesl Obrecht. Felix was hopeful that the new lead would yield useful information about Britt's mother because Britt had once confided that her mother was a mad scientist and her father an international terrorist. Spinelli suggested that perhaps it had been hyperbole. Felix admitted that he had thought the same thing until Spinelli had uncovered disturbing information about Liesl Westbourne.

Moments later, Anna left Duke's hospital room and placed a call to order an APB for Liesl Obrecht. Spinelli and Felix perked up and quickly approached Anna to find out what was going on. Anna told them that Dr. Obrecht had drugged Duke, so Felix revealed that his roommate was Dr. Obrecht's daughter. Anna realized that Britt might be harboring Dr. Obrecht, so she asked Felix for permission to enter his apartment. Felix readily agreed and gave Anna his keys along with the address.

After Anna left, Felix admitted that he was shocked that Britt had told the truth. Spinelli was curious if Felix saw Britt in a different light, so Felix conceded that having someone like Dr. Obrecht for a mother was horrible. Spinelli argued that each person controlled their own destiny, regardless of who had raised them. Mac smiled wistfully as he thought about his beloved niece. He was certain that Robin would be "over the moon" if she knew about Mac and Felicia's wedding. Lucy assured Mac that Robin knew and that Robin's spirit would always be with him.

Later, Felix entered Duke's hospital room to check his vitals. Duke was frustrated because he was stuck in bed instead of helping Anna track down Dr. Obrecht. Felix confided that Dr. Obrecht was the mother of Felix's "roommate from hell." Stunned, Duke wondered if Felix thought that Britt might be involved with what had happened to Duke. Felix confessed that he didn't know, but he was confident that Britt and her mother would get what they deserved. Duke hoped that Felix was right, but Duke warned Felix not to underestimate Dr. Obrecht. Duke revealed that the doctor had imprisoned him. "God knows what else she's capable of," Duke added.

At the Drake residence, Patrick confessed that he was hopeful that he and Britt would be able to co-parent amicably. Sabrina was happy for Patrick, but she thought that Patrick should know what Spinelli's investigation had yielded disturbing information about Britt's mother. Patrick was uncomfortable with the idea of snooping into Britt's mother's past, so Sabrina conceded that she wasn't fond of the idea either.

However, Sabrina thought that Patrick should know about the woman who would be around his son. Sabrina showed Patrick the article about Liesl Westbourne's scandalous past. Patrick was stunned when he realized that he recognized the woman in the picture. He recalled meeting Dr. Obrecht the day after the Nurses Ball when he had dropped Noah off at the airport.

Patrick remembered that Dr. Obrecht had stopped him to tell him that she had watched the moving tribute to his wife on television and that a love like the one that Patrick had shared with Robin would never died. Sabrina thought that it was odd that Dr. Obrecht would approach Patrick without identifying herself as Britt's mother. Patrick agreed that Britt's mother's behavior had been strange. Moments later, Patrick received a phone call informing him that Mac and Felicia's wedding was back on.

A short time later, Patrick, Sabrina, and Emma arrived. The Floating Rib had been transformed for the wedding as the guests mingled. Mac greeted the new arrivals, so Sabrina led Emma away so Patrick and Mac could have a private word. Patrick was certain that Robin would be happy for Mac. Mac thanked Patrick and admitted that Robin would be pleased that Patrick had also found happiness.

After the guests were seated, Emma walked down the aisle, sprinkling flower petals until she reached Mac. Mac hugged her and then looked up as Maxie appeared. Maxie took her place at the altar as the wedding march started. Moments later, a radiant Felicia appeared in the doorway, wearing a beautiful white gown and delicate veil. Felicia smiled with joy as she joined Mac at the altar and faced Lucy. Lucy began the wedding ceremony as a mystery person quietly entered the bar. The mystery person approached the happy couple as Lucy looked up. "Oh, no," Lucy cried with dismay.

At the apartment, Britt confronted her mother about the empty vial of propofol that Britt had found in Liesl's bag. Liesl tried to shrug it off, but Britt knew what propofol was used for, so she demanded to know why Liesl had the dangerous sedative. Liesl claimed that it was for a patient, but Britt argued that the vial was empty, and it had contained enough to put a person in a coma.

Britt suddenly recalled the newspaper article about Duke and realized that her mother had indeed been responsible for Duke's collapse. Liesl admitted that she had drugged Duke. Stunned, Britt wanted to know why, prompting Liesl to roll her eyes as she advised her daughter not to overreact because it hadn't been the worst thing that Liesl had ever done.

Liesl recalled taking a catatonic Robin, who had been secured to a wheelchair, to meet a mystery person. Liesl had bragged to Robin that Jerry had raised the eighty-eight million dollars for the cure, although Cesar had no longer been able to provide the antidote. "His hidden asset was you all along, my little Robin," Liesl had whispered as a mystery person had entered the room. Liesl had told the newcomer that Faison had been captured, so Liesl hadn't known how to proceed with the plan.

Liesl returned to the present as Britt wondered if her mother had killed someone. Liesl insisted that she was a healer, so Liesl saved lives. Britt admitted that she was terrified of her mother at that moment, so she wanted to know exactly what Liesl had done. Liesl revealed that she had decided to teach Anna and Robert a lesson after Anna had captured Britt's father, Cesar. Britt realized that her mother had pushed Britt to become involved with Patrick because of his connection to Anna. Britt demanded to know why, so Liesl cryptically explained that Cesar had had some loose ends to tie up. "What loose ends, Mother?" Britt demanded.

Liesl cautioned her daughter that the rest of the information would make Britt culpable, so Liesl wondered if Britt was prepared to face the consequences. Britt nodded. Liesl was about to speak when Anna suddenly banged on the door demanding that Britt open the door. Furious, Liesl accused Britt of betraying her, but Britt denied that she had. Anna used the key to try to open the door, but the chain prevented Anna from entering. Anna threatened to break down the door if Britt didn't open the door, but Britt didn't move. Moments later, Anna instructed Dante to kick the door in.

8/16 At the Floating Rib, Lucy asked if anyone objected to Mac and Felicia marrying. A mystery person entered the bar and approached the couple. Lucy glanced up and immediately narrowed her eyes, prompting everyone to look at the wedding crasher.

Pandemonium erupted as everyone objected to the unwanted guest's appearance at the wedding. Richard Simmons, sporting a flamboyant tuxedo, ignored them as he gloated to Lucy that he was back. Lucy was furious, but Richard complained about everyone's ungracious welcome. Maxie refused to let Richard and his "tragic accessories" ruin her parents' wedding, so Richard assured Maxie that he would never do that.

Lucy didn't believe Richard; she was certain that he was there to exact revenge because she had cut his dance number from the Nurses Ball. Richard began to recite a few unflattering lyrics to his rap song and then reached into his jacket pocket. Lucy feared that Richard had a gun, so everyone took a step back. Richard pulled out a gun and fired it into the air.

The wedding party and their guests jumped with fright as Richard cackled with glee while confetti rained down on everyone. Emma giggled and confessed to her father that the wedding was "bananas." Patrick chuckled, but then joined forces with the other men to pick up Richard with the intention of tossing him out of the bar. Richard sputtered with indignation as Lucy threatened to have Richard taken to Ferncliff.

Felicia stepped forward to order the men to put Richard down. Felicia conceded that Richard had crashed the wedding, but she insisted that he hadn't ruined it; he had made it more memorable. Richard was grateful when Felicia decided that Richard could stay. "I come in peace," Richard assured everyone, but Maxie was skeptical.

"On what planet?" Maxie asked.

Richard revealed that he was there to apologize to Lucy about what had transpired at the Nurses Ball. According to Richard, a celebrity friend, whom he quietly identified as "Demi Moore," had persuaded him to join her on a juice fast. Richard admitted that he had gone a little crazy, but he was better after a much-needed stay at "Transitions." Richard assured everyone that he was in a better place, so Mac was curious why Richard had crashed the wedding.

Richard explained that the only other way to get everyone together was with a murder trial, so he thought that a wedding would be a better place to apologize. Richard went down on bended knee before Lucy and apologized from the bottom of his heart for how he had treated her. Lucy immediately softened when Richard begged for her forgiveness and referred to her as the "goddess of Port Charles." Richard confessed that, in his own way, he loved Lucy, prompting Lucy to declare that she loved Richard too.

Maxie reminded Richard and Lucy that they still had a wedding to get through, so Lucy asked if everyone else forgave Richard. They all chimed in that they did, so Lucy returned to the altar to marry Mac and Felicia. Mac and Felicia exchanged poignant vows and then rings. Afterwards, Lucy pronounced them husband and wife and then invited Mac to kiss his bride. The guests broke out in applause as Mac and Felicia beamed with joy.

Later, Patrick announced that he and Sabrina had to leave because it was past Emma's bedtime, and they wanted to check on Duke on the way home. Emma was disappointed that she wouldn't get to have any wedding cake, so Felicia promised to save Emma a piece. After Patrick left, Felicia confessed that she hoped that the woman who had poisoned Duke was captured. Mac assured his bride that Anna would hunt the evil doctor down.

Across town, Anna and Dante burst through the apartment door with their guns raised. Britt shrieked and held up her hands as she reminded the police officers that she was pregnant. Anna instructed Dante to search the apartment for Dr. Obrecht. Britt feigned confusion about why Anna would be searching for a "little old lady." Anna informed Britt that she had met Britt's mother, so Anna would never use those words to describe Dr. Obrecht. "Fair enough," Britt conceded.

Britt pointed out that Anna needed a warrant to search the apartment, so Anna explained that one of the renters of the apartment had given Anna permission to enter and search the place. Britt was curious why Anna was looking for Britt's mother, so Anna revealed that Liesl Obrecht had attempted to murder Duke. "Now, where the hell is she?" Anna demanded.

Britt denied that her mother had had anything to do with what had happened to Duke, so Anna was wasting her time looking for Britt's mother. Anna revealed that Duke had identified Dr. Obrecht as the person responsible for nearly killing him, so there wasn't any doubt of Dr. Obrecht's guilt. Britt argued that her mother wasn't even in the country and didn't have a motive to hurt Duke because Britt's mother didn't even know Duke.

Anna explained that Duke knew Dr. Obrecht very well because Liesl Obrecht had kept Duke a prisoner for a very long time. Anna then revealed that Sabrina had recently seen Britt and Dr. Obrecht together. Britt argued that Sabrina was unreliable because Sabrina had poor eyesight. Anna countered that Dr. Obrecht was linked to an international terrorist named Cesar Faison, so Anna was determined to find Britt's mother.

Britt carefully hid her reaction to hearing her father's name as Anna advised Britt to start talking, or Britt would be charged as Dr. Obrecht's accomplice. Britt decided to call Anna's bluff by denying that Dr. Obrecht was in town and daring Anna to arrest Britt. Anna reminded Britt that there were plenty of women who gave birth in Pentonville, so Anna wouldn't hesitate to take a pregnant woman into custody.

Britt capitulated and agreed to tell Anna everything, so Anna demanded to know where Dr. Obrecht was. Britt recalled her mother instructing Britt to tell the police that Britt hadn't seen her mother since the previous day. Dr. Obrecht had assured her daughter that she loved Britt and would see Britt again then Dr. Obrecht had escaped through the window. Britt told Anna that she hadn't seen Dr. Obrecht since the previous morning, but Dante knew that it was a lie. He confronted Britt with the empty vial of propofol that he had found on the floor.

Britt tried to suggest that the vial belonged to one of her roommates, but Anna grew weary of Britt's games and instructed Dante to place the doctor under arrest. Britt began to cry as she realized that Anna was serious. Britt tried to use her pregnancy to manipulate both Anna and Dante, but they ignored her as Dante read Britt her rights and placed handcuffs on her. Dante was curious if Britt wanted to make a statement, so Britt warned Anna and Dante that Britt's mother would make certain that Anna and Dante regretted arresting Britt. Anna admitted that she was counting on it.

8/19 Anna and Dante escorted Britt into the interrogation room of the Port Charles police station and handcuffed her to the table. Britt asked if they had to do that and complained that the situation was stressful for the baby. Anna said that Britt should have thought about that before she lied about her mother, Liesl Obrecht, a.k.a. Liesl Westbourne. Britt denied knowing anything.

Dante asked Britt if she expected them to believe that she had no knowledge of what her mother was up to. Britt did admit that she had seen her mother briefly. She taunted Dante about secrets, but he did not understand her reference. Dante got a call from Lulu, who told him that Maxie had gone into labor. Anna told Dante to go.

Once Dante was gone, Britt tried again to get sympathy from Anna, but Anna was implacable. When Britt mentioned Patrick and the baby, Anna said that what she found interesting was that the woman who was carrying Patrick's baby was the daughter of the woman who had put Robert in a coma, and that the same woman, Britt's mother, was a lieutenant of Cesar Faison who had been tormenting Anna's family for many years. Britt said that there did seem to be a lot of coincidences, but that Britt knew nothing.

Anna did not budge. Britt asked how long she would be held. Anna said that she intended to hang on to Britt for as long as it took to flush Dr. Obrecht out, even if Anna had to deliver Britt's baby. Britt said that Anna's plan would not work because Britt's mother did not care enough about Britt to make an effort to get to her.

Anna scoffed and told Britt not to underestimate a mother's or a grandmother's love. Britt asked if she had to stay handcuffed. Anna said that she would release the cuffs when Britt was moved to a cell. Anna said that if the woman who had tormented her granddaughter, Emma, had to cool her heels in a cell for a while, so be it. Anna allowed Britt to make a call. Some time later, Nikolas entered the interrogation room. Britt thanked him for visiting and said that she had no one else to call.

8/28 At the elevator, Felix called out to Patrick and Sabrina when they arrived for work. Felix was curious where Sabrina had been because he had been trying to call her. Patrick and Sabrina were shocked when Felix told them that Britt was gone. Patrick demanded to know what Felix was talking about, so he told them that Liesl Obrecht had poisoned Duke. Felix explained that Anna had gone to the apartment to question Britt, but Britt had been gone when Felix had arrived home and that her bed hadn't been slept in.

Felix suspected that Anna had arrested Britt for aiding and abetting Dr. Obrecht and possibly as an accessory after the fact. Felix was eager to celebrate, but Patrick resented Felix's attitude because Britt might end up giving birth to Patrick's son in jail. Felix apologized, but admitted that he kept forgetting that the baby was Patrick's son, in part because Felix didn't believe that it was true. Patrick argued that the paternity test had proved otherwise.

Patrick decided to go to the police station, so Sabrina promised to get someone to cover for him at work. After Patrick kissed her goodbye and left, Sabrina smacked Felix on the arm for handling things badly with Patrick. Felix apologized again, but he assured her that he stood behind everything that he had said. Felix believed that the best thing that could happen to Patrick, Emma, and the unborn baby was for Britt to go to jail, if Britt had been mixed up with the diabolical Dr. Obrecht.

At the nurses' station, Sabrina confessed that she might have high-fived Felix if Patrick hadn't been there. Felix thought that Sabrina had every right to be happy about the latest developments with Britt because Sabrina would have everything that Sabrina wanted if Britt weren't around. Sabrina agreed, but she insisted that she didn't want the baby to suffer by losing his mother like that.

Patrick arrived at the police station. Anna saw him through the interrogation room window, so she entered the squad room to find out why Patrick was there. Patrick asked if it was true that Britt's mother had tried to kill Duke. Anna nodded, so Patrick wanted to know if Britt had been involved. Anna explained that they had evidence that Britt had lied about when Britt had last seen Dr. Obrecht. Patrick reminded Anna that Britt was pregnant with his child, so he didn't want his son to be born in jail. Anna realized that Patrick didn't know that Nikolas had bailed Britt out of jail, so she told him. Patrick was curious where Britt had gone, so Anna suggested that he talk to Nikolas.

8/29 At the hospital, Sabrina was startled when she found Ellie huddled in a corner of a vacant room. Sabrina became concerned when she realized that Ellie had been crying. Ellie admitted that she and Spinelli had broken up, so Sabrina assured Ellie that everything would work out because Spinelli was crazy about Ellie.

Ellie explained that Spinelli refused to accept her apology, but she couldn't blame him because she had told a terrible lie. Sabrina offered to listen if Ellie needed someone to talk to, but Ellie revealed that she couldn't confide to Sabrina because it wouldn't be fair to anyone. However, the bottom line was that Ellie had kept a secret that was life-changing to several people, including Spinelli, so Ellie doubted that Spinelli would forgive her.

Sabrina thought that telling the truth should count for something, especially since there had been a time that Spinelli had betrayed Ellie. Sabrina recalled the night that Ellie had been struck by a car and temporarily paralyzed. Sabrina had desperately tried to reach Spinelli to let him know about Ellie's dire condition, but he hadn't answered the phone. "Why?" Sabrina pointedly asked.

Ellie quietly admitted that Spinelli had been having intercourse with Maxie. Sabrina nodded and then reminded Ellie that Ellie had forgiven Spinelli for the transgression. Ellie conceded that Spinelli had deeply hurt her, but her betrayal had been worse because it had affected Spinelli as well as Maxie and her baby. Sabrina was confused about the remark, so Ellie quickly covered the slip by claiming that she had meant "the" baby.

Ellie revealed that she had overheard a conversation between Maxie and Frisco that had given Ellie reason to suspect that there had been something wrong with the baby that Maxie didn't want Dante and Lulu to know about. Ellie had felt obligated to find out what was going on, so she could let the baby's parents know. She admitted that she had manipulated an unwitting Spinelli to hack into the hospital's records so that she could access Maxie's medical file. Ellie was ashamed that she had broken her own code of ethics, but Sabrina argued that it had been to protect Dante and Lulu.

Ellie confessed that her intentions hadn't been so pure; she conceded that she might have been driven by jealousy. Ellie wished that she had never found out the truth or had allowed Maxie to persuade her to lie because the lie that she had told to hold onto Spinelli's love had ultimately driven him away. Sabrina admitted that love sometimes made people do crazy things and pointed to her own decision to secretly run a paternity test without Britt's consent. Sabrina confessed that she continued to have a hard time believing that Patrick was the father of Britt's baby.

At Wyndemere, Patrick informed Britt that he knew everything about Britt and Britt's mother. Britt quietly wondered how he had found out, but Patrick didn't think it mattered because he knew that Britt's mother had tried to kill Duke, had put Robin's father in a coma, and had been working with Cesar Faison. Patrick was furious because he had started to trust Britt and had had hope that they could amicably raise their baby. However, he realized that that was never going to happen.

Britt assured Patrick that she had been sincere when she had admitted to all the terrible things that she had done, but Patrick pointed that out that she had neglected to mention that her mother was the diabolical doctor who had been in cahoots with the man who had spent years waging war against Robin's family. Patrick wondered what else Britt had been hiding, so Britt insisted that she'd had no idea what her mother had been up to.

Patrick didn't believe Britt because the police had found a bottle of propofol in the apartment, which was Dr. Obrecht's drug of choice. Britt argued that she had ordered her mother to leave when she had found the vial of propofol, but Patrick insisted that she should have called the police. Britt reminded him that they were talking about her mother, but Patrick pointed out that Liesl Obrecht was a criminal. Britt denied that she had known about the crimes that her mother had committed, but Patrick was skeptical.

Patrick made it clear that he didn't want Britt's mother around the baby, so Britt assured him that her mother had nothing to do with the baby. Patrick didn't believe her because he knew that Britt's mother had been in town during the Nurses Ball. Britt was shocked when Patrick told her about his encounter with her mother when he had dropped Noah off at the airport. Patrick was certain that Britt and her mother had conspired against him, so Britt admitted that it was true.

Britt conceded that her mother had urged her to give him the news about the baby at the Nurses Ball because her mother knew that Britt had loved him, so they had hoped that the announcement would pave the way for Britt and Patrick to work things out. Patrick accused Britt of dropping the news like an atomic bomb in public while he had been honoring his dead wife

Patrick pointed out that Britt would have woken up in jail if it hadn't been for Nikolas. He insisted that Britt's mother was a lethal woman. "And that's my fault?" Britt asked. Patrick refused to allow Britt's mother to get near his son, so Britt assured him that she rarely saw her mother because her mother lived in Europe. Patrick reminded Britt that she had been seen with her mother at least two times in the past six months.

Patrick refused to take any chances, so he announced that he would sue for full custody of the baby. Outraged, Britt reminded him that she was the baby's mother, but Patrick countered that her mother had tried to kill two people in his family. Britt assured him that she would keep her mother away from the baby, but Patrick couldn't trust Britt to keep her word. Britt warned Patrick that she had rights as the baby's mother, so Patrick agreed to allow her supervised visits with his son.

Patrick promised that Britt would hear from his attorney and started to leave, but Britt warned him that it was a big mistake. Patrick insisted that he was trying to protect his son. "He's not your son," Britt shouted.

8/30 At the boathouse, Morgan invited Kiki to go swimming, but she wasn't in the mood. Disappointed, Morgan asked what was troubling his new bride. Kiki admitted that she felt bad for Franco because Ava had lied to Franco for over twenty years.

At Wyndemere, Britt warned Patrick that he would never get full custody of the baby, but Patrick told her that she would hear from his attorney because he was determined to protect his son. "He's not your son," Britt shouted. Patrick conceded that he wasn't the baby's only parent, but he refused to let Britt's dangerous mother near the baby. Britt told Patrick to pay attention and repeated that he was not the baby's father.

Patrick accused Britt of being a pathological liar. "Exactly," Britt said. She explained that she had lied about the baby's paternity in a desperate attempt to lure him back. Patrick questioned the timing of her confession and pointed out that a paternity test had confirmed that he was the father. Britt revealed that her mother had tampered with the tests.

Stunned, Patrick asked why Britt would lie to him like that. Britt insisted that she had loved Patrick, but Patrick argued that they had barely had a relationship. Britt claimed it had been her mother's idea to pass the baby off as Patrick's, so Britt had gone along with the plan because Britt had been desperate to win Patrick's love. Patrick continued to question Britt's story, so she invited him to run another paternity test. "Okay, so, if it's not my baby, right...it's not my baby, then who is the father? Hmm?" Patrick asked.

9/3 At Wyndemere, Britt admitted that Patrick wasn't the father of her unborn child. "Okay, fine. If it's not mine, then whose is it?" Patrick challenged her. Patrick questioned the timing of her confession because she had spent months convincing him and everyone else that he was the father of her baby, but then had suddenly denied the possibility when he had threatened to seek full custody of their son. Britt reminded Patrick that her mother had been perfectly capable of changing a DNA test, so Patrick once again demanded that she tell him who the baby's father was.

Britt was curious why it mattered, so Patrick shouted that he deserved the truth because he had spent months believing that the baby was his child and had fallen in love with his son. Britt agreed to name the father provided that Patrick backed off. Patrick was stunned when Britt claimed that she had been artificially inseminated with Brad Cooper's sperm.

Patrick wondered how Britt had intended to pass off Brad's child as Patrick's, so Britt told him that she had hoped that the baby would look like her, not Brad. Patrick remained skeptical because he couldn't understand why Brad would go along with such an outrageous plan. Britt asserted that she had promised to give Brad a promotion. The argument became heated as Patrick's fury mounted over the lengths that Britt had gone to in order to deceive him.

Britt tried to leave the room, but Patrick grabbed her arm, demanding that she answer his questions. Nikolas suddenly appeared in the doorway to order Patrick to unhand Britt. Patrick released Britt's arm when Nikolas threatened to end Patrick's career as a surgeon by breaking all the bones in Patrick's hands.

"She's all yours," Patrick growled as he stormed out. Britt thanked Nikolas for his timely intervention, but Nikolas was curious what had driven Patrick to the point of manhandling Britt. Britt cryptically admitted that she had told Patrick the truth.

At the hospital, Felix cornered Brad to get some answers about Britt's baby and the DNA test. Brad denied that he knew anything and reminded Felix that Ellie had done the tests. Felix argued that Brad had revealed that Britt was hiding something about the baby, prompting Brad to recall that he had also told Felix to talk to Britt's mother. Felix admitted that Brad was his only option because Dr. Obrecht had escaped and Britt was ensconced at Wyndemere.

Felix was surprised when Brad asked if helping Felix would change how Felix felt about Brad. Felix conceded that it might help if Brad gave up the "Britch," but Brad didn't want to be used as a means to an end. Felix wondered how else he was supposed to see Brad, given all of the horrible things that Brad had done. "How about as a boyfriend?" Brad asked.

Startled, Felix accused Brad of being promiscuous and treating Felix like a piece of meat. Brad explained that he couldn't pine for Felix forever, but Felix argued that he hadn't even known that Brad had been pining for him in the first place. Brad assumed that Felix had been used to people fawning over him because Felix had been one of the cool kids in school. Brad doubted that Felix had any idea what it was like to pin his heart on someone who would never in a million years return those feelings, but Felix disagreed.

Brad resented Felix comparing what Brad had felt for Felix to what Felix had felt for Milo because Milo wasn't gay, but Felix argued that it was still unrequited love. Brad accused Felix of settling for an imaginary relationship with Milo rather than risking a possible real relationship with Brad, who actually liked Felix. Felix rejected the idea because he thought that Brad was a jerk. Brad insisted that he was smart and capable, he had a good job and a sense of humor, and he was excellent in the bedroom.

However, Brad was resigned to Felix continuing to treat him like something that Felix had stepped in. Brad admitted that he was used to being bullied, prompting Felix to soften. "You were bullied?" Felix asked. "Fat Chinese gay tap-dancer," Brad explained. Defeated, Brad sat down and opened up about his past by revealing that he had once won a champion tap-dancing contest for the school. Felix was impressed. Brad's smile was bittersweet as he recalled collecting a trophy for the school but then being beaten up by the football team.

Felix wondered if it had hurt, so Brad pointed out that he had a thick skull, which he suspected contributed to him being a jerk. Felix was surprised when Brad quietly confided that he was afraid to be nice to Felix because then the rejection would feel personal. Felix lowered his guard as he and Brad continued to talk. Brad appeared to make some headway with Felix until Patrick marched up and punched Brad.

9/4 At the hospital, Felix and Brad were about to kiss when Patrick marched up and punched Brad. Felix was forced to step between the men to keep Patrick from taking a second swing at Brad. Brad wiped the blood from his lip as Patrick angrily accused Brad of conspiring with Britt to lie and manipulate Patrick. Confused, Felix asked what Patrick was talking about, so Patrick revealed that Brad was the father of Britt's baby.

Felix reminded Patrick that Brad was gay, prompting Patrick to point out that there were other ways to get a woman pregnant. Felix glared at Brad as Patrick confirmed that Felix had been right; Britt wasn't pregnant with Patrick's baby. Patrick made it clear that Brad's secret was out and then stalked off.

Felix demanded to know if what Patrick had said was true. Brad tried to explain, but Felix wanted a direct answer. Moments later, Britt called Brad, so Brad was forced to take the call. Felix stormed off as Brad answered the call, growling that he would have appreciated a heads-up from Britt before Patrick had showed up. Britt insisted that her back had been against the wall because Patrick had threatened to take the baby away from her.

Brad complained that Britt had made his life complicated, but Britt refused to apologize because Brad had been well compensated. Brad admitted that he finally understood Patrick's frustration with Britt and abruptly ended the call. Felix passed by, so Brad called out to him. Felix insisted that he only wanted an answer to his earlier questions, so Brad admitted that he was the father of Britt's baby.

Felix was furious that he had fallen for Brad's lies and questioned Brad's claims about being bullied in school. Brad wanted an opportunity to explain things, but Felix insisted that they go their separate ways. Moments later, Silas walked up to enlist both men to assist with a Peripheral Blood Stem Cell donation.

At the Drake residence, Sabrina read the instructions for an infant's changing table and then went to work. Her progress was slow because the directions were difficult to follow, but she was determined to help Patrick get ready for the baby.

Later, Sabrina looked at the changing table with a dubious expression because she had some parts left over. She started to examine it, but Patrick arrived home, so she turned to greet him. Her smile died on her lips when she noticed Patrick's thunderous expression. Patrick revealed that Felix and Sabrina had been right; he was not the father of Britt's baby. The changing table collapsed as Patrick slammed the door shut.

Sabrina ignored the mess as she tried to make sense of what Patrick had told her. She reminded him that there had been a DNA test, so he told her that it had been tampered with. Sabrina suggested that Patrick demand another paternity test, but Patrick didn't see the point, since Britt would find another way to lie. Sabrina was stunned when Patrick told her about his violent encounter with Brad after Britt had claimed that Brad was the baby's father.

Sabrina was outraged on Patrick's behalf but feared that Brad would press charges against Patrick. Patrick welcomed the opportunity to expose Britt and Brad's lies. However, Patrick's anger quickly turned to disappointment because Patrick had wanted the opportunity to be a better father to his son than Noah had been to Patrick and Matt.

Sabrina tried to comfort Patrick because she appreciated that Britt's revelation hadn't changed Patrick's love for the baby. Patrick wondered how he was going to break the news to Emma, so Sabrina assured him that they would figure it out together. Patrick was surprised when Sabrina offered to leave to give Patrick some space to think things over. He confessed that he didn't want her to go because he needed her, so Sabrina quickly returned to his side.

9/5 At the hospital, Sabrina told Patrick that she would be thinking about him. Patrick smiled, but it didn't reach his eyes. He kissed her and then went to work.

Moments later, Felix walked up and asked if Patrick had told Sabrina about what Britt and Brad had done. Sabrina nodded and confessed that she couldn't believe that Britt would claim to love Patrick yet lie to him in the worst way imaginable. Sabrina was disgusted with Britt, prompting Felix to point out that Brad was as bad as Britt. Felix regretted how far things had almost gone with Brad. Later, Felix confessed to Sabrina that he hadn't taken any joy in being right about Britt and Brad and that he hated that Patrick and Emma had been hurt by Britt's devious scheme.

Sabrina wanted to know what Felix had been talking about earlier when he had mentioned that something had almost happened with Brad. Felix admitted that he had felt a connection to Brad and had almost kissed him. Felix rushed to assure Sabrina that it had been a moment of stupidity, so Sabrina suggested that they never speak of it again. Felix promised that he would not fall for any more of Brad's lies.

Patrick entered the hospital room. Franco noticed Patrick's somber expression, so he asked why Patrick was sad. Patrick ignored the question and explained that he needed to examine Franco one last time. Carly quickly excused herself to give Patrick and Franco some privacy.

Carly returned to Franco's room as Patrick finished up with Franco. Patrick determined that Franco was fit enough to leave, but Carly was curious about the cancer cells that had ruled Franco out as a donor for Danny. Patrick explained that Franco was stable, so they would continue to monitor things. Patrick assured both Franco and Carly that there were treatment options if anything changed. Franco thanked Patrick for saving his life and then jokingly suggested that someone somewhere was probably grateful that Patrick had.

Patrick approached the nurses' station when a young boy named Simon called out and ran up to him. Patrick kneeled down to greet his patient and ask if they had an appointment. Simon's mother walked up to explain that Simon had wanted to thank Patrick by presenting Patrick with Simon's favorite toy. Simon held out a toy racecar to Patrick.

Sabrina rounded the corner but stopped when she saw Patrick and Simon. Patrick thanked Simon for the gift, but he insisted that Simon hold onto the car for safekeeping. Simon's mother thanked Patrick and remarked that Patrick was great with boys, so she hoped he had a son of his own one day.

After Simon and his mother walked away, Sabrina joined Patrick at the nurses' station. Patrick opened up to Sabrina about how he had looked forward to welcoming a new life into his family instead of mourning a death. Sabrina gently reminded Patrick that he could still have a son one day. Patrick remained downcast, prompting Sabrina to confess that she wished that she could find a way to help him. Patrick offered her a sad smile and then kissed her before leaving to fetch Emma. "Maybe there is," Sabrina decided.

At Wyndemere, Britt cancelled her appointment with the realtor. After she ended the call, she clutched her stomach as a sharp pain hit. Britt tried to dismiss it until she heard a door slam shut. She assumed that it was Nikolas, so she called out to him. Moments later, Sabrina entered the parlor.

9/6 At the nurses' station, Nikolas informed Brad that it was time for Brad to "man up." Brad promised that he was all man "even on a day as bad as this one." Nikolas warned Brad that Brad's day was about to get worse unless Brad did as he was told. Brad smiled suggestively as he assured Nikolas that he was open-minded, but Nikolas wasn't amused. Nikolas made it clear that he would not allow Brad to shirk responsibility, so Nikolas expected Brad to be a father to Britt's unborn son.

"That kid is not my responsibility," Brad argued. Brad insisted that he and Britt had an understanding, so Brad had just been a sperm donor. Nikolas argued that everything had changed when Patrick had learned the truth about the baby, so Nikolas demanded that Brad do the right thing by putting a roof over Britt and the baby's head. Brad was stunned when Nikolas announced that Britt and the baby would be moving in with Brad.

Brad explained that his apartment was barely big enough for him, but Nikolas countered that Brad should have thought of that before Brad doled out sperm samples. Brad was curious why Nikolas cared and then wondered if Nikolas was in love with Britt. Nikolas insisted that Britt was a friend, but Brad appeared skeptical. Brad refused to have anything to do with the baby and made it clear that Britt could talk to Brad if Britt had a problem with that.

At the Drake residence, Emma was eager to set up the nursery, but Patrick gently explained that they would have to return everything. Confused, Emma asked why, so Patrick tried to stall by suggesting that they grab a snack. Emma sensed that Patrick was troubled, so she asked him what was wrong.

Patrick sat down with Emma and gently broke the news to her that he was not the father of Britt's baby. Emma was curious who the baby's father was, so Patrick told her that the man's name was Brad. She was certain that Brad wouldn't be as good of a father as Patrick was. Patrick smiled and thanked his daughter as she hugged him. He quietly added that Brad would be "just right" for Britt.

Later, Patrick saw Emma playing with a doll on the floor, but he noticed that she seemed sad. He asked her what she was thinking about, so Emma admitted that she had been wondering if the baby would miss them. Patrick didn't have an answer for her, but he was certain that the baby would miss out on having the best big sister. Patrick and Emma talked about how they had each looked forward to having the baby in their lives.

Patrick was taken aback when Emma suddenly suggested that Patrick could still have a baby boy with Sabrina. Patrick conceded that it was a nice idea, but it was too early in their relationship to have children. Emma wondered if Patrick loved Sabrina, so he admitted that he did, but he was curious if Emma loved her too. "Yes," Emma answered with a big smile.

Later, Patrick left Sabrina a voicemail message to let her know that he had told Emma about the baby. He admitted that he wished that Sabrina had been there because it had been a difficult conversation. Moments later, Emma entered the room and called out to her father. Patrick ended the call when he saw Emma holding a baseball mitt and ball. He smiled when she pointed out that he didn't have to wait for a little boy to play catch. Patrick agreed and followed Emma outside.

At Wyndemere, Britt made a few unflattering remarks about Sabrina's hair then ordered Sabrina to leave. Sabrina closed the parlor door and made it clear that she would not leave until she had her say. Britt suggested that Sabrina check her antipsychotic medications because Sabrina clearly had no idea where she was. Sabrina was fully aware that she was at Wyndemere, prompting Britt to point out that Britt was a guest in Nikolas' home, while Sabrina was trespassing.

Sabrina refused to leave, so Britt informed Sabrina that Patrick had already given Britt an earful. Sabrina demanded to know how Britt could claim to love Patrick yet hurt him and Emma so deeply. "Go to hell," Britt growled. Britt insisted that Patrick would have never left her if Sabrina hadn't "weaseled" her way into his life. According to Britt, Sabrina had resorted to a "little whisper campaign" when Sabrina had failed to turn Patrick's head.

"Wow," Sabrina replied. Sabrina accused Britt of rewriting history so many times that Britt had started to believe her own lies. Sabrina conceded that she'd had feelings for Patrick, but Patrick had still been mourning Robin. Sabrina insisted that Britt had lost Patrick on her own when Patrick had realized that Britt hated Emma. Britt accused Emma of being a "spoiled brat," but she denied that she had hated the little girl. Sabrina argued that Britt had treated Emma like the enemy, but Britt countered that Emma had treated Britt like Britt had the "cooties."

Sabrina refused to let Britt blame Emma for the failed relationship. As the argument continued, Britt began to rub her stomach to ease the discomfort. Britt thought that Sabrina should be happy that Patrick had learned the truth about the baby, but Sabrina admitted that she pitied Britt and the baby for having a mother like Britt. Britt suddenly doubled over in pain, so Sabrina suggested that the truth hurt. Sabrina started to walk out, but Britt cried out for Sabrina not to leave. Sabrina thought that it was an act, but Britt insisted that something was wrong with the baby.

Later, Nikolas entered the parlor. He was startled when he saw Britt on the floor, a pillow tucked behind her head, panting. Sabrina hovered over Britt, trying to make Britt comfortable. Nikolas was curious what was going on. "We're baking a cake," Sabrina snapped and then quickly clarified that Britt was in labor.

9/9 Nikolas burst through the doors of his castle and found Britt in labor and Sabrina trying to help. Nikolas sent for the launch, but Britt's labor pains were close and the baby's birth was imminent. Britt screamed that she did not want Sabrina's help because Sabrina might use it as an opportunity for payback. Sabrina said that that was Britt's style, not Sabrina's, and then cited some of Britt's mean-spirited acts.

Britt called Sabrina "a phony little twit who stole Patrick from me," but eventually, Nikolas and Sabrina convinced Britt that Sabrina was up to the task. After a short labor, Britt's baby was born. Sabrina handed Britt her baby. Britt was surprisingly tender. Nikolas told Sabrina that she had been amazing. Sabrina said that Britt had done all the work. Suddenly Britt shouted that something was wrong with her baby.

9/10 At Wyndemere, Britt held her newborn son as Nikolas looked on and Sabrina cleaned up. Britt's joy turned to concern when she realized that something was wrong with the baby. Concerned, Nikolas and Sabrina asked Britt why she thought that the baby was in crisis. Britt explained that the infant's breathing was labored and shallow, so she turned accusing eyes to Sabrina as she demanded to know what Sabrina had done to the baby. Sabrina asked to take a look at the baby, but Britt refused because she didn't trust Sabrina.

Nikolas quickly defended Sabrina and asked what was causing the infant's breathing problems. Britt listened carefully and determined that the baby had fluid in his lungs, so he needed to get to the hospital. Nikolas sprang into action and called to check on the launch. The launch was ready to leave, so Britt stood up, intending to carry her son to the launch, but she immediately began to sway on her feet and was forced to sit back down. Sabrina offered to take the baby to the hospital, but Britt rejected the idea.

Sabrina insisted that there wasn't time for an argument and promised that she would never let the differences between them keep her from doing everything possible to save the baby. "She's right," Nikolas chimed in as he promised Britt that everything would be okay. Britt reluctantly handed her newborn son over to Sabrina. Sabrina assured Britt that the baby would be well taken care of. Sabrina left.

Later, Britt was filled with trepidation because she had allowed Sabrina to take the baby to the hospital. Britt insisted that Sabrina was clueless and untrustworthy. Nikolas reminded Britt that Sabrina had guided him so he could help Britt during the delivery, so he was certain that Sabrina would do everything in her power to save the baby. Britt feared that it would not be enough because Sabrina wouldn't be able to get the baby to the hospital in time.

Britt became increasingly agitated, so Nikolas tried to calm Britt by asking her if she had encountered similar situations when she had delivered babies. Britt admitted that she had, prompting Nikolas to ask her to walk him through what the procedure would be to help the baby. Britt told him how the crisis would be handled at the hospital and conceded that the infant would usually be okay after the treatment. Later, the launch returned for Britt, so Nikolas carried her to the boat.

Nearby, Felix admitted that Sabrina deserved a medal for delivering Britt's baby. Sabrina reminded Felix that she was a nurse, so it had been her job. However, she was relieved that she could put Britt and the baby behind her. "Is it just me, or does that baby look nothing like Brad at all?" Felix asked Sabrina.

9/11 At the hospital, Patrick caught up with Sabrina at the nurses' station. He was curious where she had been, so she told him that things had gotten crazy the previous evening. "Hot date?" Patrick jokingly wondered. Sabrina smiled and then revealed that she had delivered Britt's baby. Patrick listened with stunned disbelief as Sabrina recounted the events at Wyndemere.

Patrick wondered if the baby was okay, so Sabrina assured him that Dr. Clay had managed to treat Britt's son. Patrick was curious where Brad had been during the crisis, so Sabrina admitted that Brad had been on hand when she had first arrived at the hospital but had left after the baby had been stabilized. "Are you kidding me?" Patrick asked. Sabrina nodded, but revealed Nikolas hadn't left Britt's side.

Sabrina thought perhaps Nikolas and Britt's relationship would blossom into more than friendship, so Nikolas might end up raising the baby with Britt. Patrick was reminded of what he had lost, so Sabrina suggested that Patrick focus on what he had. She pointed out that with Britt no longer an issue, they could finally be free to enjoy their relationship without any complications. She also reminded Patrick that he had Emma.

In Britt's hospital room, Britt had a troubling dream about Patrick demanding to know the name of the baby's father. She woke up with tears in her eyes as Nikolas appeared in the doorway, holding her newborn son. Nikolas became concerned when he saw the tears, so he asked if Britt was okay. She admitted that she'd had a bad dream, but she assured him that she was fine.

Nikolas ran into Patrick. Patrick looked at the newborn in Nikolas' arms and asked if the baby was Britt's son. Nikolas confirmed that the newborn was Britt's child, so Patrick asked how the baby was doing. Nikolas assured Patrick that the baby was fine, prompting Patrick to remark that the baby didn't look anything like Brad.

Nikolas feared that Patrick believed that the infant was Patrick's son, but Patrick quickly eased Nikolas' concerns by revealing that a second paternity test had confirmed that Patrick was not the baby's father. Nikolas admitted that he had been in Patrick's shoes with Aiden, so Patrick was curious how Nikolas had gotten past the pain of losing Aiden. Nikolas revealed that he had focused on his son, Spencer, rather than on what he had lost.

At the nurses' station, Patrick walked up behind Sabrina and wrapped his arms around her. He apologized and admitted that she had been right to urge him to focus on what he had rather than on what he had lost. Patrick was grateful that he still had Sabrina, so he told her that he loved her and then kissed her.

9/19 Felix opened the door to a mystery man looking for Sabrina. The man realized that he had the wrong apartment because he hadn't heard that Sabrina had a boyfriend. Taylor snickered as Felix rushed to explain that he was Sabrina's roommate, not her boyfriend.

The dark-haired stranger smiled and then introduced himself as Carlos Rivera. Carlos revealed that he and Sabrina had known each other in Puerto Rico, so Carlos had decided to stop by to catch up with Sabrina. Felix explained that Sabrina was at work, so he invited Carlos to follow him to the hospital. Taylor rolled her eyes as Felix led Carlos to the garage.

Felix approached the nurses' station with Carlos. Felix greeted a fellow nurse, Penny, and then introduced Carlos. Felix was curious if Penny had seen Sabrina, so Penny explained that Sabrina hadn't made it to work because Emma was sick. Carlos was curious who Emma was, so Felix explained that Emma was Patrick's daughter. "And Patrick would be?" Carlos asked.

At the Drake residence, Patrick nuzzled Sabrina's neck as he confessed that she had been right to remind him to focus on what he had rather than on what he had lost. Sabrina smiled when Patrick told her that they would have the house to themselves after their shift ended because Emma had plans to spend the night at a school friend's house.

Moments later, Emma entered the living room, complaining that she didn't feel well. Patrick examined his daughter and determined that she had pink eye. Emma was disappointed when Patrick explained that Emma couldn't spend the night at her friend's house because pink eye was contagious.

After Emma went to her bedroom, Patrick called the hospital to see if someone could cover his shift, but no one was available. Sabrina offered to get another nurse to cover her shift, but Patrick refused to consider it because he knew that Sabrina had been scheduled to assist in the operating room, which was important to her career. Sabrina argued that she was the logical choice to watch Emma because Mac and Felicia had their hands full with Maxie, and Anna wasn't available.

Later, Patrick remained reluctant to leave because he didn't want Sabrina to feel as if he thought that his job was more important than hers. Sabrina reminded Patrick that she had found someone to cover her shift, so it wasn't a problem. Patrick confessed that Sabrina was amazing and kissed her. Sabrina assured Patrick that she loved him and that there wasn't anything that she wouldn't do for him and Emma.

After Patrick left, Sabrina tried to put some eye drops in Emma's infected eye, but Emma refused to cooperate. Sabrina tried to bribe Emma with ice cream and unlimited amounts of soda, but Emma wanted her mother, Robin. Sabrina was sorry that Emma's mother couldn't take care of Emma, but Sabrina promised Emma that Robin was looking down from heaven and sending Emma all of her love. Emma wanted her mother, so Sabrina quietly reminded Emma that Emma had her. "It's not the same," Emma sadly admitted and then left the room.

Later, Sabrina picked up Emma's toys when her eyes landed on Patrick and Robin's wedding picture. Sabrina thought about her earlier conversation with Emma when Emma had talked about Robin. Sabrina's thoughts returned to the present when someone knocked on the door. She opened the door but froze when she saw Carlos standing on the doorstep. Carlos greeted Sabrina with a big smile and then kissed her.

Nikolas bumped into Patrick, so Patrick asked how Britt and the baby were doing. Nikolas assured Patrick that mother and child were fine. Patrick was surprised when Nikolas mentioned that Britt and the baby would be staying at the apartment with Sabrina and Felix. "Say what?" Patrick asked. Nikolas recounted his conversation with Britt, so Patrick cautioned Nikolas not to believe Britt because Sabrina hadn't mentioned anything about Britt and the baby moving in.

Felix spotted Patrick. Felix and Patrick chatted about an operation that Patrick had performed and then Felix asked about Emma. Patrick explained that Emma had pink eye, but she would be fine because Sabrina was taking care of her. Patrick was surprised when Felix told him about Carlos.

9/20 At the nurses' station, Patrick left Sabrina a voicemail message explaining that he had called to check on Emma and to let her know that Felix had mentioned that a friend of Sabrina's from Puerto Rico had been looking for her. After Patrick ended the call, he saw Sam by the vending machine, so he called out to her.

Patrick was curious how Danny was faring, so Sam gave him an update and credited Silas with saving her son's life. Patrick confessed that he hadn't been impressed with Silas in the beginning, so Sam admitted that she had felt the same way. However, she'd had a change of heart when she had gotten to know Silas. Patrick sensed that there was more to Sam's new view on Silas, so she confided that Silas had asked her out and had invited her to Silas' daughter's wedding reception.

Patrick was curious what Sam had told Silas, so she admitted that she had turned Silas down. Patrick appreciated that Sam would rather hang out at the hospital, eating cheese puffs from the vending machine for dinner. "Which are disgusting, by the way," Patrick added as he reached for one of the cheese puffs. "Maybe you should stop eating them," Sam suggested with a friendly smirk. "Eerily addictive," Patrick explained as he took another cheese puff from the bag.

Sam's smile faded as she revealed that she had used Danny as an excuse not to go to the wedding reception with Silas. She admitted that she had no idea why she had done it because she had felt bad when she had noticed the disappointment in Silas' expression. "Jason," Patrick explained. Sam relaxed because she realized that Patrick understood the position that she had been in.

Sam couldn't understand why she felt as if she had been betraying Jason, so Patrick explained that it was because she and Jason hadn't had a falling out; they had been in love when Jason had died. Sam wondered if she would ever stop feeling as if she were doing something wrong. Patrick assured her that things would change when she found the right person. He warned her that it wouldn't happen right away, but eventually things would fall into place. Sam was curious if that was what had happened between Patrick and Sabrina.

Patrick admitted that he couldn't pinpoint when it had happened, but he no longer felt as if he were betraying Robin. He explained that it helped knowing that Robin had wanted him to be happy. Patrick was certain that Jason would want the same for Sam. Sam agreed, but she feared that she wouldn't get past the feeling of betrayal.

Patrick smiled as he admitted that Sabrina was a generous and loving person who had been amazing to him and Emma, which was why he had fallen in love with Sabrina. Patrick told Sam about Sabrina's decision to stay home with his sick daughter, even though Sabrina had had an opportunity to assist during surgery. Sam smiled wistfully, so Patrick assured Sam that it was okay to leave Danny with Alexis for a few hours and to have some fun with Silas at the wedding reception.

At the Drake residence, Sabrina pushed Carlos away as she demanded to know why he had kissed her. Carlos explained that he had been waiting to kiss her for a long time. "I'm kissing my girl," Carlos added with a smile. Sabrina reminded him that their relationship had been over for years, so she demanded to know why he was in Port Charles.

According to Carlos, a work opportunity had presented itself, so he had jumped at the chance to take it and pay Sabrina a visit. Carlos asked her to invite him in, but Sabrina refused because Emma was asleep in the bedroom. Carlos promised to be quiet, but Sabrina ignored him as she wondered how he had found her. Carlos told her about his encounter with Felix and going to the hospital. He admitted that he loved how caring and compassionate she was, but she pointed out that he had been against her desire to be a nurse.

Carlos insisted that he was a changed man and then smiled as he added that Sabrina hadn't changed a bit because she was still the girl that he had fallen in love with. "The girl I'm still in love with," Carlos amended. Sabrina was certain that it was just nostalgia, but Carlos argued that she had been the one to end their relationship, so his feelings for her had never changed.

Sabrina was shocked when Carlos claimed that he still wanted to marry her. She explained that she didn't want the life that Carlos had offered because he wanted her barefoot, pregnant, and chained to the kitchen. Carlos denied that he had ever said that, but Sabrina argued that he had made his expectations very clear. Sabrina insisted that she had wanted to be a nurse like her mother, so Carlos pointed out that she had done that and that he couldn't be prouder of her.

Carlos tried to caress her face, but Sabrina jerked away from his touch. Carlos assured Sabrina that she could still have her dreams if she shared her life with him, but she explained that things were different because of Patrick. Carlos assumed that Sabrina was Patrick's nanny, so he was confused what the doctor had to do with their relationship. "He's my boyfriend, and we're in love," Sabrina told him.

Carlos was shocked that Sabrina had become involved with a married man, so Sabrina clarified that Patrick's wife had died a year and a half earlier. Carlos suggested that Sabrina had been consoling Patrick, but Sabrina insisted that she loved Patrick. Carlos argued that he had been her first love and that she had claimed that he was her soul mate, so Sabrina reminded him that she had been young and hadn't known what it was like to be in a real relationship.

Sabrina told Carlos that she and Patrick loved and supported each other through good times and bad. Sabrina insisted that she respected Patrick and that Patrick respected her, which she and Carlos had never had even during the best of times. Carlos was about to argue, but Sabrina suggested that Carlos leave because it was Patrick's home. She advised Carlos to take care of his business and then return to Puerto Rico. "And please, don't come back," Sabrina quietly added. Carlos made it clear that he refused to give up on her because he was certain that Sabrina still loved him. He kissed the tips of his fingers and then gently pressed them to her heart before turning away and leaving.

Later, Patrick arrived home and kissed Sabrina. He wondered if she had listened to his voicemail message, so she looked around and realized that she had misplaced her phone. Patrick explained that he had called to check on Emma and to let Sabrina know that a friend from Puerto Rico had been looking for Sabrina. Sabrina admitted that the friend had found her.

9/23 Patrick was eager to hear all about Sabrina’s day when he arrived home from work. Sabrina said that Emma definitely did not like eye drops and that Emma had wanted her mother but eventually Sabrina had been able to comfort Emma. Patrick asked if Sabrina's friend from Puerto Rico had found her. Sabrina replied that he had. Patrick deduced that the friend was Carlos, Sabrina's ex-boyfriend Patrick thought that he was joking when he asked Sabrina if Carlos had searched out Sabrina because Carlos wanted her to reunite with him.

Patrick did not think it was funny when Sabrina admitted that Carlos had indeed declared his feelings for her. Before Patrick could get huffy, Sabrina hastened to tell him that Carlos had made his declaration under the mistaken impression that Sabrina was Patrick's babysitter. Once Sabrina had corrected that misinformation, by telling Carlos that she loved Patrick and had moved on, Sabrina said that Carlos had backed off. Patrick wondered if he should be worried about Carlos.

Sabrina remembered Carlos telling her that he would not give up on her, but did not share it with Patrick. Instead, she playfully accused Patrick of jealousy. When Patrick denied it, Sabrina said that she was not convinced that Patrick was being truthful, so her only course of action was to take him to the bedroom and prove it. Patrick thought that Sabrina had a very good idea.

9/25 At the hospital, Carlos ducked behind a corner when he spotted Patrick approach Sabrina. Carlos eavesdropped as Patrick warmly greeted Sabrina and let her know that Emma was feeling better. Sabrina was relieved, so Patrick thanked Sabrina for making the sacrifice to stay home with Emma. Sabrina insisted that was what it meant to be part of a family.

Patrick was relieved that Sabrina felt that way because he didn't want her ex-boyfriend to whisk her away. Sabrina assured Patrick that Patrick had nothing to worry about because she had never been impressed with Carlos' "machismo air." According to Sabrina, Patrick had a lot more to offer than Carlos, who was only in town for a short business trip.

Later, Patrick revealed that he was having coffee with the doctor that Sabrina had been scheduled to assist in surgery when Emma had gotten sick, so he had an opportunity to persuade the doctor to give Sabrina a second chance. Sabrina appreciated Patrick's offer, but she didn't want to take advantage of her relationship with him. Patrick insisted that he wanted to help her, so she teasingly accused him of turning up the charm because he was worried about Carlos. Patrick denied it, but he reminded Sabrina that she had told him that Carlos would soon be out of their lives for good.

Later, Sabrina was looking at a chart when she entered an examination room. She was startled when she looked up and saw Carlos smiling at her. "Hello, beautiful," Carlos greeted her. He immediately noticed that she looked different, so she explained that she had exchanged her glasses for contact lenses. Carlos was impressed and pleased that Sabrina had decided to show the world her true beauty.

Sabrina ignored the compliment as she demanded to know why Carlos was there. Carlos explained that he had injured his shoulder the previous evening. Sabrina tensed when he shrugged out of his shirt to show her his lacerated shoulder. She picked up a gauze pad and started to clean it but decided to fetch a doctor because she was uncomfortable with Carlos' nearness. Seconds later, Patrick walked in.

9/26 In an examination room, Sabrina decided to fetch a doctor to take a look at Carlos' injured shoulder. Carlos insisted that he didn't want a doctor. "I want you," Carlos whispered as he reached for Sabrina.

Patrick entered the examination room, but stopped short when he saw Carlos and Sabrina. "I didn't realize you were the patient," Patrick said when he saw Carlos with Sabrina. Carlos grinned as he pointedly suggested that he was a little more than a patient. "Isn't that right, Sabrina?" Carlos purred. Sabrina quickly stepped away from Carlos and then peeled off her latex gloves. Patrick asked her if she was okay, so she assured Patrick that she was fine and then introduced him to Carlos.

The tension was thick between the men as Patrick glanced at the graze on Carlos' shoulder and then asked what Carlos did for a living. Carlos explained that he worked for Derek Wells, but then quickly clarified that he was not a reporter. Carlos was curious if he would need stitches, so Patrick admitted that he was a neurosurgeon. Carlos pretended to be impressed, but Patrick didn't buy it.

"Cut the crap," Patrick growled. Patrick revealed that he knew that Carlos had dropped by unannounced at Patrick's home and then had kissed Sabrina, so Patrick wanted to know what was really going on. Carlos' appreciated Patrick's honesty, so Carlos explained that his life hadn't been the same since Sabrina had left. Carlos admitted that he wanted Sabrina back, but Patrick pointed out that Sabrina wasn't available.

Carlos was curious why Patrick still wore a wedding band if Patrick loved Sabrina. Patrick explained that his wife had died over a year before, so he was a widower. Patrick didn't think that it was any of Carlos' business, but Carlos disagreed because Carlos had been with Sabrina for a long time, and he was ready to build a life with her.

Patrick insisted that Sabrina didn't want that, so Carlos accused Patrick of using Sabrina as a glorified babysitter "with benefits." Furious, Patrick advanced on Carlos, but Sabrina quickly stepped between the two men to keep them from trading blows. She ordered both men to stop and then informed Carlos that Carlos didn't have a right to act like he owned a piece of her or to judge her relationship with Patrick because Carlos knew nothing about it.

Carlos continued to question Patrick's feelings for Sabrina because Carlos suspected that Patrick still mourned Robin. Sabrina insisted that it wasn't any of Carlos' business because she and Carlos weren't even friends. She informed Carlos that the scratch on his shoulder didn't require stitches, so she handed him a bandage to cover the minor wound and then ordered him to get dressed and leave. Carlos claimed that he had only called things the way he had seen them. According to Carlos, Patrick was stuck in the past, while Carlos was ready to build a future with Sabrina.

After Carlos left, Sabrina apologized to Patrick for the scene, so Patrick assured her that she wasn't to blame. Sabrina admitted that she was embarrassed that she had ever been involved with Carlos, but Patrick was worried that Sabrina had believed Carlos' outrageous suggestion that Patrick considered her a glorified babysitter with benefits. Sabrina promised Patrick that she hadn't, so he hugged her.

9/30 Patrick met Anna at Kelly’s. She told him about her various cases, including her search for Liesl. Patrick said that he had gone bananas when he heard that Liesl was Britt’s mother and that was why he had decided to sue Britt for full custody, which had forced Britt to tell the truth: that Patrick was not the father of her baby.

Anna said that she was sorry for Patrick's loss, but glad that Britt was out of Patrick and Emma’s lives. Patrick said that he had a lot of support from Felix and Sabrina and he was moving on. Anna sensed that Patrick was disquieted about Sabrina. Patrick opened up to Anna and told her about Carlos and his visits to Sabrina. Patrick was especially rankled by Carlos' comment that Patrick could not possibly love Sabrina or Patrick would take off his wedding ring.

Anna agreed with Patrick that it was none of Carlos' business, but she also wondered why Patrick wore the ring. Patrick admitted that although he loved Sabrina, he could not let go of Robin and could not believe that he would never see her again. Anna told Patrick that she knew how he felt, but that he had to move on, not only for his sake, but also for Emma's. Outside Kelly's, Anna got on her phone and asked to be called if there were any leads on Liesl. She took a moment to look at a photo of Robin on her phone.

At General Hospital, Sabrina found Felix stuffing his face with chocolate-covered cherries. She asked if Felix was thinking about Brad the cad. Felix admitted that he was, especially after Ellie had overheard Brad say that he was going off to do the right thing. Sabrina was very negative about Brad and advised Felix to forget Brad.

Felix said he would be happy to think about Carlos, but Sabrina said that Carlos was straight, and she knew that because Carlos was also her ex-boyfriend Sabrina caught Felix up to date on her love life, including Carlos' disturbing comment that Sabrina could not shake, about Patrick not being able to take off his weddingring. Felix told Sabrina that she needed to talk to Patrick about her feelings.

Sabrina ran into Patrick, who asked her if they could talk privately. Patrick said that he needed to talk about Robin. Brad found Felix. When Felix asked where Brad had been, Brad said that he had marched off to do the right thing, and the new and improved Brad had, indeed, told the truth. He proudly states that he interrupted the christening of Dante & Lulu’s baby to tell them the truth that she was not their biological child!

A very much alive Jerry Jacks emerged from a secret lab on Cassadine Island to confront a severely weakened Luke. Jerry observes that Helena injected Luke with the same radioactive isotope that the Balkan infected Jerry with. Jerry said Liesl had not had enough time to create the cure herself. Liesl had done the next best thing. Liesl had fond another brilliant doctor to do the work. Jerry said that the cure was almost finished, but unfortunately, there was only one dose to be had. Jerry left Luke huddled on the floor and returned to the lab where a reluctant Robin was being held prisoner and forced to work on a cure for polonium poisoning.
