Robin & Patrick #1  December 6, 2005 – May 27, 2006 – 8 hour original edit

Robin sees Dr. Drake attempting to spike his morning coffee and asks him if this is how he prepares for surgery. He doesn't think he's capable of performing the surgery, though. Robin tells him she is confident in his abilities, as are Monica and Alan. Just then a patient comes in convulsing. The nurses are talking about how they don't have another surgeon to work on the patient. Dr. Drake interjects and looks at the brain scan. He immediately takes the patient into surgery. Robin looks on as Dr. Drake performs the surgery and saves the patient's life. When he is through, she tells him how impressed she is with his performance.

Robin tells Jason and Sam that she just witnessed Noah saving a man's life and she has all the confidence in the world that he will do the same for Jason. Jason goes to his room, while Sam goes back to find Dr. Drake and question him. She finds him spiking his coffee and tells him she won't allow him to operate on Jason. Dr. Drake tells her the surgery isn't until tomorrow, but Sam doesn't care. He explains how Robin found him in a bar in New York. Just as Sam says she won't allow him to come anywhere near Jason, Robin believes that Dr. Drake is their last hope. Dr. Drake says there is another surgeon, though. He is younger and more capable.

Robin barges in on a doctor making out with a beautiful woman. Once the girl leaves, Robin introduces herself. Her reputation precedes her, and the cocky young doc (whose name is later revealed as Patrick) refers to her clinicals as "garbage." Undaunted, Robin shows him Jason's head scan, and all Patrick can say is he's a "lost cause". Later as Robin and Patrick talk, Noah overhears them and offers his medical opinion, which Patrick clearly isn't interested in. Turns out he's Noah's son, and in addition to trashing his own career Noah nearly did in Patrick's as well. Patrick, in turn, refuses to operate on Jason! But Carly stops him in the elevator, demanding he reconsider.

Carly tries to seduce the young Dr. (Patrick) Drake in the elevator in exchange for him to agree to do Jason's surgery. Sam pries open the elevator and drags Carly out of the elevator before she does something foolish. Sam dares Patrick to do the surgery by insinuating that he is afraid to do it because he can't measure up to his father Noah. Patrick tells her that Jason's condition has deteriorated too much and the surgery is too risky to try. Carly gets Patrick to do the surgery eventually.

Robin argues with Patrick after he accuses her of incompetence in front of Jason and everyone and treats Jason like a specimen. She suggests he work on his bedside manner. She also scolds him after Noah tries to give him medical advice and Patrick dismisses him coldly by telling him that surgical techniques have advanced since he was a surgeon last. Robin tells Patrick off when he dismisses her as a doctor and makes remarks about how young she looks. She insists on observing the surgery from inside the O.R., which he objects to but she gets her way. Sam walks alongside Jason's gurney and tells him she loves him as he is brought into surgery. Sam watches from the doorway as the surgery is about to start. Suddenly a masked man in scrubs appears near the doorway holding some papers to disguise his face. The man turns out to be a disguised Manny Ruiz, Sonny and Jason's archenemy.

A raging snowstorm hits Port Charles. Inside the OR, Drake Sr. enters with unsolicited, unwanted surgical advice for Drake Jr., which Robin agrees with. Patrick's testosterone rages but when Robin dresses him down in front of the crew, he takes in Noah's words. Jason begins to dream of the people in his life, as the lights begin to flicker...and flicker...and flicker. Alan goes around barking orders, while Manny grabs an axe and takes out the backup generator, leaving GH completely without power! Carly becomes unglued, and Manny takes center stage first in Jason's dream, then in his room!!

Manny walks into the operating room unnoticed due to his nurse attire. Carly figures out something isn't right though and barges into the room. Manny grabs her and takes her hostage just as the lights go out. Sonny rushes in to try and save Carly. He manages to chase Manny out of the operating room. Sam grabs a fire extinguisher and hits Manny in the back, freeing Carly for a moment. In the end, Sonny ends up shooting Manny in the stomach just as the cops come in to arrest Manny.

Patrick finishes the surgery on Jason, despite Manny's interruption. He comes out and tells Sam and the others that everything went fine but he's not sure when or if Jason will ever wake up. All the doctors blame Sonny and Carly for contaminating the operating room by coming in. They felt they had no choice, though, as Manny was aiming to kill Jason. Later, Robin sings Patrick's praises to everyone who will hear. She has good cause to do so though, as Jason wakes up and appears to be fine. Noah and Patrick also exchange praise for each other in a shocking moment.

Jason tells Sam the doctor's didn't save him, she did. Robin overhears this and tries to leave, but they see her anyway. She comes in to check him and while she's doing so, Sonny and Carly come in. Carly tells her she can leave now. Jason is over her so now that she's saved his life, they're done with her. Robin tells her that Jason is recovering from brain surgery so if anyone should leave, it's Carly. Carly is furious, but Sam interrupts and tells them both to knock it off for Jason's sake. Robin decides to be the bigger person and leave.

Patrick comes in to see Jason after much prodding from Robin. Robin and Patrick bicker before entering Jason's room. Patrick takes a stab at guessing Robin's social life and is pretty accurate at describing how pre-occupied she is with her work. Robin is annoyed, but the two go in to check on Jason anyway. Patrick tells him that he will have to stay in the hospital for a few weeks. Jason is not happy, but Patrick won't have him blemishing his perfect record by rushing his recovery.

Robin and Patrick talk about a sick kid. Patrick's self-serving blather earns him another scolding from his colleague. Drake Jr. then works his way to Jason's room where he openly feigns concern over his patient before asking his first of what will be several questions about Jason's employment. Outside the room Drake Jr. tells Samantha she could do better than Jason the "coffee importer"-presumably meaning himself; Samantha promises Patrick that hitting on her will result in his death. Jason then sends his fiancé home, just in time for Robin to spring a surprise deli sandwich on him. Pat catches her leaving his room and accuses her of targeting Jason romantically, which gets the mobster all riled up. The egotistical Drake Jr. orders him into bed, not at all out of concern for his health but because of the blemish Jason's non-recovery would put on his record.

Patrick spouts more ego at Robin and her feelings towards a "drug dealer". Dr. Scorpio first corrects the "drug dealer" label, then lets him know that his "tough guy with a heart" act is a joke since she knows firsthand what one really is. Sam returns to GH, not at all upset to find Robin conversing with Jason.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: Robin: "Your bedside manner stinks."

Patrick: "That depends on which bed...and who's in it."

Robin gets into an argument with Patrick about one of her patients. He feels that the young boy would benefit from surgery but she feels that there are other options and that he didn't show any compassion toward the patient. Patrick points out to her that it doesn't pay to get emotionally involved in his patients’ lives when he may have to perform delicate brain surgery on them. Robin feels he should have shown some compassion toward this patient. Patrick tells her she can go ahead and get close to her patients then if things go wrong and the patient dies, she can go drown herself in a bottle of scotch, referring to how his father Noah handles things. Robin watches him leave and is galled by his ego.

Later, Sam finds Patrick in the hallway. She tells him that Jason insists on getting out of the hospital as soon as possible. Patrick notices that Robin is right there and makes it a point to mention to Sam the idea of having sex in Jason's hospital room. Robin tells Sam that if she has any questions about Jason's recovery, she should ask her not Patrick, since he has no real interest in his patient after he performs surgery on them. Sam walks off to go back to Jason's room.

Patrick makes a comment to Robin about how flushed she looks after his conversation with Sam. Robin makes a dig about how he doesn't seem to care about where he has sex including hospital rooms. Patrick makes another comment about how she seems to be thinking about when she caught him having sex with another employee on the operating table. Patrick tells her that she shouldn't worry since he took the necessary precautions so he wouldn't catch anything. Robin goes pale and storms off very upset.

Patrick is furious with Robin. Robin tries to convince Patrick that patience is the key to her brain medication. Patrick can't believe she cancelled his surgery, and Robin seems surprised. Noah steps in and explains that he's the one who cancelled the surgery. He felt the patient didn't need the surgery either and thinks his son just wants to be the hero. They all go consult when Manny is wheeled in. Patrick asks for a CT scan, but sarcastically verifies it with his dad.

Sonny goes into the prep room and attempts to bribe Patrick into killing Manny during the operation. Patrick tells him he can't be bought, and Robin enters and tells Sonny they're in the business of savings lives, not taking them. Sonny tries to excuse her, but she won't leave. She tells Sonny that she believes Manny should be punished, but by the justice system. After Sonny leaves, Patrick tells her she wasted her breath because he never

Robin and Patrick enter the operating room where Patrick explains what is wrong with Manny. He tells him he thinks he can fix it, though. Manny is upset that Robin would be in the operating room because he doesn't trust her. She wants him dead just like everyone else. Patrick says he is wrong, because she is the only other one besides him who feels his life should be saved. They begin the surgery and Robin has a suggestion to make Manny's recovery easier. Patrick doesn't take it though and Manny's blood pressure starts to fall. Robin keeps telling Patrick to hurry up, but he is able to complete the surgery in its entirety.

After the surgery, Robin goes to tell Jason and Sam that Manny's surgery is over. They will have to wait to see what the results are until he wakes up. Jason warns Robin that if she goes in to check on him to make sure she has someone with her. Manny is known for preying on women who are alone.

Sam and Jason watch Patrick speak in a television news conference about Manny's surgery. Patrick says that Manny's aggression was caused by the brain problems that he just operated on and he is no longer a danger to society. Meanwhile, Robin and Lucky go in to check on Manny. She asks if he remembers the surgery and he says he does remember. He also apologizes to her. Patrick and Robin both feel he doesn't belong in prison; his crimes were due to his tumor, but Dara is not at all moved.

Sam is kissing Jason as Robin walks in the room. She apologizes for disturbing them but she needed to ask Jason for his help. She explains to Sam and Jason about Manny's surgery and how he seems like a totally different person after it and that when they were operating on him they found that the problems he was having were on the part of the brain that deals with aggression. She tells Sam and Jason that a case can be made that Manny was not responsible for the crimes he committed before the surgery. Sam doesn't believe that Manny could be a different person than he was before the surgery. Robin points out that Jason Quartermaine was a totally different person before his accident. Sam points out that Jason was never a psychotic and demented person out to hurt other people including all of them either. Robin asks him to consider seeing Manny in person for her to get a read on whether he is different or faking it.

Robin walks with Jason to Manny's room. Robin tells Jason that she doesn't know whether to believe Manny is changed or not and needs him to see him for himself since he is good at telling if someone is lying or not. Robin goes into Manny's room and tells him he has a visitor. Jason comes into his room a little. Manny looks at Jason and seems scared of him. He tells Jason that he is sorry for what he did to him. Jason looks at him and wonders if he is for real or not.

During the GH Christmas party, Patrick wonders what Robin would look like in an elf costume. In full Santa gear, a sloshed Noah appears at the hospital to distribute gifts. Patrick informs Robin that's how he's celebrated every Christmas since his mother died. Alan does the annual Christmas reading.

Patrick eventually asks his drunken father to leave; in private, the elder Drake lets his son know how proud of him he is, then listens ashamedly as Patrick recalls a not-so-jolly Christmas of yesteryear. Montage of Bobbie hugging Lucas, Brooke Lynn hugging Ned, Skye hugging Alan, Liz and Lucky lost in each other's arms, Ric and Alexis smooching, Patrick and Robin, among many others. There's also a very poignant scene in which Edward and Audrey hang photos of their late loves, Lila and Steve.

As Robin is undressing and talking to another nurse about Patrick, he appears in the dressing room. She's irritated, but his apologies do nothing to calm her. She dresses, while he badgers her about having no social life. Her beeper goes off and they go to talk to Jason and Sam. Patrick tells them as soon as the final test results come back, they can go home. He warns him not to rush into things too quickly though, and baits Robin by mentioning her inexistent social life. When he goes outside, Sam follows him and tells him to stop baiting Jason.

Inside, Jason is asking Robin about her feelings towards Patrick. She admits he's a great doctor, but he's a selfish jerk. She knows he is flirting with her, but once he finds out she is HIV positive, he will leave, just like all the others except for Jason.

As Robin sits down at the Metro Court for dinner, she notices Patrick sitting alone behind her. He tells her it's silly for the both of them to be eating alone and invites her to have dinner with him. Patrick and Robin do end up having dinner together. Robin explains that she went into medicine because her first love died and there was no cure for his illness. Patrick is surprised to hear that Jason wasn't her first love. Robin gets up to leave and Patrick offers to take her home. She tells him she would rather crawl through glass then let him take her home, but he can gladly pick up the check.

When Robin leaves, she encounters Carly in the lobby. They get into an argument when Carly mentions having Jason bring his motorcycle to Michael's birthday party. Robin wants her to leave Jason alone, but Carly tells her she is just jealous that Jason loves her and not Robin. Patrick overhears Carly fighting with Robin and learns that Robin is HIV-positive.

Patrick eavesdrops as Carly tears into Robin, labeling her as jealous of Carly's ability to have a family since Robin's HIV prevents her from having her own. Dr. Scorpio gives right back, in so many words calling Carly pathetic and desperate. But Carly is relentless and Robin stands there, absorbing blow after verbal blow until she loses it and smacks Carly right across the face! The feisty blonde charges at her nemesis, forcing Patrick to reveal himself in order to prevent blood from being spilled between the two gals.

After Robin is thrown out, Patrick defends Robin when Carly refers to her as a 'bitch'. Later, at GH, Pat is much less ornery than usual towards Robin, who puts 2 and 2 together and figures out Patrick knows about her disease. "HIV-positive or not, act like a jerk, you'll be treated accordingly," says Dr. Drake when Robin starts to preach. Through Patrick, we learn that Noah's alcoholism was spurred by Noah's unsuccessful attempt to operate on his terminally ill wife ,  Patrick’s mom. For the first time Patrick speaks to Noah without attitude or bitterness, admitting he looked up to his father until he became one with the bottle. Noah clearly hasn't let go of the pain and anger. His son leaves behind a number to a rehab clinic, which a despondent Noah soon dials.

Robin and Patrick head over to the conference room at the hospital where Alexis and Ric are setting up their depositions. Patrick is called in to give his first. Before he goes inside Robin stops him and tells him that she wants to clear something up with him first. She tells him that she hopes that when he is giving his deposition that he doesn't go on about how brilliantly he performed Manny's surgery and makes sure to mention that he noticed a difference in Manny after the surgery. Patrick goes in and gives his deposition and comes out just as Robin moves away from the door after trying to eavesdrop on the proceeding. Robin goes in next. Alexis thanks her for coming in to give her deposition. Alexis asks her for her medical opinion first. Robin explains that she has seen a major difference in Manny's personality since the surgery and that his condition caused the violent and aggressive actions.

Robin is floored next when Alexis asks her about Jason. Robin asks her how that question is relevant. Alexis doesn't tell her why she is asking her and asks her about how much she knows about Jason. Robin tells her what she knows about Jason and tells her how Jason was before his accident that damaged his brain many years ago. Robin admits that Jason's change in behavior was like night and day. Alexis asks her to confirm that she was more than friends with Jason at one time. Ric looks over at Alexis and shakes his head to let her know she is going too far in her questioning. He looks over at Robin and tells her that they have no more questions for her and let her go. Robin catches Patrick eavesdropping outside the door and gives him hell for it. Patrick tells her that he could hear how different she sounded when she was talking about Jason and how she wasn't so cold then. He accuses her of not being over Jason yet.

Patrick starts hitting on Elizabeth, who makes it very clear that she is happily married and that her husband is a cop. Patrick backs off. Robin shows up at Jason's place to talk to him. Sam answers the door and tells Robin that Jason is gone right now. Robin asks her if she can come in and wait for him. Sam doesn't have a problem with that. Robin tells her that she just finished her deposition in Manny's case. Sam assumes that Robin told Alexis that Manny is an evil creep and the surgery didn't change that. Robin tells Sam that she told the truth, Manny is a different man since the surgery and that his medical condition caused his violent actions. Sam is floored by this bit of information and starts to tell Robin off for defending Manny to her when she should be testifying against him instead. Robin tells Sam she is a hypocrite considering that she condones Jason's violent lifestyle but can't see Manny is in the same business.

Jason comes home just as Robin defends her actions claiming that she gets hammered for being honest and telling the truth and that she did the right thing by telling A.J. that he was Michael's father and she won't apologize for it. Jason tells Robin that it wasn't about doing what was right for her but that it was about Michael and that because of her actions, she tore Michael's life apart in the process.

Robin reminds Jason that it is he and Carly's fault that Michael went through what he went through because their lie to A.J. set the wheels in motion. Jason lays into her for interfering all those years ago but once he vents both Jason and Samantha express gratitude for saving Jason's life. Robin returns to GH just in time to find Patrick making a dinner date with a colleague. When he has the "audacity" to urge Robin to smile more, she slaps him in the face!!! However, it only seems to arouse him and he forwards a dinner invitation to Robin, which is promptly rejected.

Carly calls Patrick asking for his help when Michael complains his arm is numb. Thinking he's about to get laid, a suave Dr. Drake is all too happy to cancel his plans; Robin soon learns of his "house call". In the end, all he does is examine Michael, who is fine. Robin then shows up to offer a truce to an annoyed Carly then her jaw nearly drops as Patrick comes down the stairs! Ms. Benson does nothing to change Robin's misconception of what they were doing.

Carly doesn't want Robin to know that Michael fell into the ice for fear that she will turn her in to family services, so Carly makes up a lie that she and Patrick were sleeping together. Patrick goes along with it by kissing Carly passionately. Robin storms off and goes back to the hospital. Patrick is hopeful that Carly really wants to have an affair with him. She blows him off and shows him the door, though. He knows she likes him, though, and he's a patient man. Back at the hospital, Patrick tries to irritate Robin some more. She warns him that his life is in danger if he wants to have a fling with Carly. The only person who's more dangerous is Jason's sister, Emily.

Emily tells Elizabeth she's got to start dating again. Nothing serious, but she needs to go out to a movie once in a while. They walk towards the elevator and Emily decides the next guy who gets off the elevator is the one she's going to ask out. Patrick steps off the elevator.

Robin interrupts Emily and Patrick setting up a date. Patrick is needed to perform surgery on Jesse, who was shot by Manny's cousin. Patrick rushes down and manages to remove the bullet from Jesse's spine, much to Maxie's relief.

Robin is upstairs talking to Emily. Robin is shocked that Emily would go on a date with Patrick. Emily explains that she's just using Patrick as a distraction and Robin guesses that she needs a distraction from Sonny. Emily blabbers on and on about how there's nothing going on between the two of them. The more she talks, the more it is obvious that she has feelings for Sonny. She can't handle talking about it anymore and storms off. Patrick interrupts Nik and Emily talking and to take Emily out on their date. Nikolas is obviously upset and storms off.

At the Nurses Station, Robin and Liz do a bit of Amy-esque gossiping, as Patrick and Emily are both late for duty. Courtney arrives and joins in. Soon, Patrick and Emily make their grand entrance, still laughing from the previous nights events.

We finally see their date via flashbacks as Coleman shares the story with a disbelieving Nik and Lucky at his bar. They'd encountered a drunk yahoo who carried a grudge against Jason and Sonny and Coleman warned him that Jason’s sister was in the bar. The guy saunters over as Patrick warns Emily that he is no good in a bar fight. When he took inventory on Emily's bottom, Patrick lasered two billiard balls at his chest (so as not to damage his precious hands) and Emily broke a cue over the guy’s back knocking him out!

Patrick continues to charm Emily; a nearby Robin is jealous and disgusted at Patrick without even realizing it. A bit later, Nikolas stops by in search of Emily, and finds her being mesmerized by Dr. Drake's charm. When Patrick comments how Nik's loss is his gain, the prince slugs him in the face! Patrick gives him one right back, ticked that the "Neanderthal" drew him into fisticuffs (you know, the hand thing).

Emily gets a big bouquet of flowers. She reads the card privately. Patrick and Nikolas wonder who sent them. Robin asks Patrick if he is jealous and thinks of Emily as a challenge now that someone else is sending her flowers. Patrick acts like his usual arrogant self and feels he has no reason to be jealous (the flowers are from Sonny).

Sonny arrives and he and Max corner Patrick near the Nurses' Station. Sonny makes a veiled threat about how if Patrick ends up hurting or taking advantage of Emily and he finds out something that may happen to his wonderful surgical hands. Emily interrupts Sonny threatening to break Patrick's hands if he dare hurt Emily. Pulling Sonny aside, she reads him the riot act.

Elizabeth sees Emily looking very nice and asks her what's up? Emily explains that her class was cancelled so she had time to get ready for her date. Not knowing that Patrick is behind her, Elizabeth hopes out loud that Emily is not going out with that arrogant jerk, Patrick. He surprises her by answering that he's not going out with her tonight. Just then, Sonny steps off the elevator. Jason and Sam walk out into the lobby just in time to see Emily and Sonny together. As Sonny and Emily leave, Patrick sees how worried Elizabeth is about Emily and the two banter back and forth until Lucky arrives. He got off work early, so she suggests they go out to eat and to a movie. He tells her he just had to pay some bills, but she thinks she has some spare money until she remember she had to buy Cameron some new snow boots. Patrick walks up and hands Elizabeth money, telling her she dropped it when she was going through her purse. When Lucky leaves, Elizabeth gives the money back to Patrick and tells him she doesn't want his charity.

Jason and Sam have arrived at GH to have a test done to determine whether she carries the Fragile X Syndrome gene that caused her brother’s condition. Robin comes in and tells them she's covering for Dr. Lee. Sam is upset and doesn't want her to treat her at first. But she can't wait any longer to find out if she's a carrier of the Fragile X gene. She tells Robin that her brother has Fragile X Syndrome and since her and Jason are contemplating having a baby, she wants to get checked out. Robin doesn't seem phased by the request and tells them it's a simple blood test. She should be able to get the test results back today. Sam gets a clean bill of health.

Robin testifies at Manny’s trial that he had a medical condition that caused his violent behavior and the surgery has corrected this medically induced condition. Manny is rushed into GH after being shot at the courthouse. Robin praises Emily's efforts to save Manny’s life, but then has to promise a date to Patrick in order to get him to operate. Carly gets to the hospital, Patrick tells her he saved Manny's life again, thinking she would be upset. Carly is relived, knowing that as long as Manny is alive, Jason won't be prosecuted for murder. Patrick is shocked at her reaction and tells her that she may have to make it up to him later. Carly goes to Manny's room and wakes him up. She wants to know who shot him. Robin interrupts and tells her to leave her patient alone. He's just had surgery and he needs to rest.

Patrick flirts with Elizabeth and Robin is disgusted with him for flirting with a married woman. She tries to convince Patrick that she will pay for him to go out on a date with someone else. Patrick says that wasn't the deal. He wants to go out with her.

Robin and Patrick go to the Metro Court Hotel for their dinner date. Robin keeps looking at her watch and tells him she will give him an hour for dinner but the date is over after that. Patrick asks her to give their date a chance and not to be so serious. Robin agrees to let her guard down and asks him about himself. He tells her some stories from his childhood and adulthood and Robin shares with him how she wasn't always so seriously dedicated and that she had a wild side at one time.

She tells him about how she stole her Uncle Mac's car to go to a Smashing Pumpkins concert with her boyfriend Stone and how they ran over a skunk and never made it to the concert and how Mac made her feel guilty and confess by acting so nice to them. Patrick compliments her on how beautiful she looks when she smiles. She thinks he is using the compliment as one of his usual come-ons. Patrick tells her it is the truth. Robin thanks him for the compliment. Robin asks him about his mother. He tells her how she died on the operating table after she insisted his father perform the surgery.

Noah shows up at GH and asks Elizabeth if he could page Patrick. Elizabeth tells him that Patrick is at the hotel having dinner. She welcomes him back to the hospital and thinks he was on some sort of sabbatical. Noah tells her he just finished a stint in rehab and hopes to stay sober and explains that he started drinking after his wife died. Noah shows up at the hotel and interrupts Patrick's date with Robin. Robin tells them she was planning on leaving right now anyway. Patrick asks Noah what he is doing out of rehab so soon.

Noah tells him he plans to stay sober and wants to return to work as a surgeon at General Hospital. Patrick is very much against the idea and makes it clear to Noah that he isn't welcome at General Hospital since it has taken him a long time to work out from under his shadow and build a reputation as a brilliant surgeon and he won't let him ruin it. Patrick storms off to the elevator after a waitress brings over a favorite drink of Noah’s without him ordering it. Noah picks up the martini glass and spills the contents into a nearby plant to show Patrick he means to stay sober.

When Robin returns to GH, Elizabeth apologizes for telling Noah where Patrick was and possibly ruining their date. Robin tells Elizabeth that Patrick showed a part of himself tonight that showed her that there are reasons why he behaves the way he does.

At the Metro Court, Carly lectures Patrick on his treatment of Noah before engaging in a friendly dance outdoors. Patrick lets his guard down around Carly and shares a rare moment of honesty with her. Afterwards he finds out that his father must have a liver transplant in order to survive. As much anger as he has for his father, he doesn't want him to give up on his life. He begs him to fight to live.

Carly goes to the hospital and finds Patrick. Robin is jealous to see the two of them talking and interferes, telling Carly about Noah being ill. Patrick tells her to butt out, and he and Carly leave. Carly takes him to a hotel room, where he erroneously thinks he will get to sleep with Carly. She informs him that the old Carly may have done that, but not now. She brought him to the hotel just to get him to talk to her about what's been bothering him. He admits that he's worried about his father. He lost precious time with him being mad at him, and now it may be too late. Carly tells him not to worry because he has a secret weapon to help him convince his father to try and save his life.

At GH, Patrick agrees that Noah should remove his name from the liver donor list, and then offers his father part of his own liver! The junior Drake is incredulous when Noah refuses it. Failing to notice her own lurking "late" father in the background, Robin finds out about Noah's decision and in almost record time hunts Pat down to chastise him. He heatedly reminds her to mind her own business.

Carly approaches Noah in the hallway. She tells him that he should accept part of Patrick's liver and try to live for his son. Noah gets angry when he sees Patrick approach them and tell Carly she shouldn't have said anything to him. Noah makes it clear that he will not accept his liver and risk Patrick's life. Patrick complains about Noah not caring about him enough to want to live and accept his liver. Carly tries to explain to Patrick that it doesn't prove anything than that Noah loves him and doesn't want to risk his life and that she would feel the same if one of her sons wanted to donate one of his organs to her if she was sick. Patrick gets stubborn about it and complains about his father.

Robert Scorpio returns while investigating a virus outbreak in the Markham Islands. He learns that Luke Spencer was there and has been exposed and follows him back to Port Charles. Robert has accessed a private computer room, and after a few failed password attempts finally accesses GH's flu records. Robin stumbles upon him by accident and her jaw nearly hits the floor upon laying eyes on her dad for the first time in well over a decade. A "Hello, sweetheart" is all Robert can manage.

Robin is in shock at seeing her father but that shock soon turns into disbelief and anger. She lashes out at him for making her believe he was dead all these years. Robert tells her he wants to explain it all to her. Robin doesn't want to listen to any of his explanations and accuses him and Anna of pretending to be dead all these years and then suddenly coming back in her life because they missed her. Robert tells her that Anna doesn't know he is alive. Robin gets angry with Robert for keeping away from both of them for 14 years without a word or phone call. Robert tries to explain things to her but Robin's resentment and anger toward him shut him out.

Robert asks her to at least give him a chance to explain. Robin asks him why she should sit and listen to him make excuses for why he couldn't contact her all these years. Robert reminds her that he is her father and has that right. Robin sits down and agrees to listen but makes it clear to him that she hates him and that won't change. Robert tells her that the boat explosion did happen but it wasn't caused by Faison but by the WSB themselves. He tells her that he was officially declared dead then and they had him in a holding cell and treated him like he was a double agent. He tells her that the WSB threatened to kill Anna and her if he didn't agree to work for them as a spy. Robert believed they would target her and he couldn't let that happen and felt she would be safer if she didn't know he was alive.

Robin asks him why he didn't try to find her and see her. Robert tells her he tried but he couldn't do that. Robin doesn't know whether to believe him or not. She starts crying more and asks him what he did after the eleven years he was a spy. He tells her about his new job as an agent for some medical safety commission and shows her his I.D. Robin doesn't know if she can believe it is a real job or just a cover for what he is really doing. Robert tells her his job is to investigate and track unknown and dangerous viruses to their sources and contain them in their environment. Robin asks him if he ran into Frisco while working as a spy since Frisco works for the WSB? Robin tells him that Frisco left his wife and children to go off and be a hero also. Robert tells her he never saw him.

Robert assures her that he did keep track of her and saw her from a far over the years and even almost came to see her at her apartment in Paris. Robert tells her why he came back to Port Charles, to find out if Luke and the chimp he brought back with him are carriers for a deadly virus. Robert tells Robin he wants her to go home right now because he is worried that her compromised immune system may be too weak to deal with this kind of virus with her HIV-positive condition. Robin tells him he has no right to act like her father after all these years and order her around.

Robin goes to leave but Patrick comes in to talk to her. She tells him he has good timing for a change and introduces him to Robert. Patrick is confused since he thought her father was dead too. Robin tells him that Robert gave her some story about Luke and a chimp being a carrier for some dangerous virus. Patrick confirms to them that could be true since Luke came in with his daughter who was very sick and was exposed to the chimp also. Robert tells Robin to go home but she tells him to go to hell. Robert tells Patrick what he knows and asks him to take him to where Luke is.

Luke thinks his feverish mind is at work when he sees Robert standing near his cubicle in ER. Robert assures him they are both still alive. Luke seems happy to see him and asks him if he is working for the WSB again. Robert explains what he does for a living and voices his concerns that Luke and the chimp may be carriers of a deadly virus that the government tried to contain to the village where Luke found the chimp. Robert orders GH quarantined by Robert.

Mac arrives and GH and socks Robert in the face upon finding him alive more for the pain he caused Robin than himself. He points out that when both Robert and Frisco took off for their big adventure that he stayed home and raised their daughters and he has been his joy to do so.

Robert, Robin, and Patrick determine that Luke is the carrier for the deadly virus not the chimp. Since he's also the only one fighting it off, they decide to try to develop a serum using Luke's blood plasma. The hard decision is going to be who will receive and who won't receive the potentially life saving medicine.

Alcazar switches pages from Lulu's file and replaces them with Skye's file. When Robin and Patrick come in, they realize that Skye is going downhill fast. They take the reports back to the council, where they decide that Skye should get the antidote first. Alcazar starts to have second thoughts and demands that Robin also give Lulu the antidote. It's what Skye would want, and besides he is a big time contributor to the hospital. Robin tells him that right now, money means nothing. Alcazar says nothing about switching Lulu and Skye's results, so Skye gets the antidote.

The doctors' council decides as a criminal, Sonny belongs at the bottom of the list of treatment recipients as long as he's no worse off. Emily overhears this and emotionally and tearfully pleads Sonny's case, to deaf ears. In fact, Alan gets so frustrated with her he reminds her she's not a physician and boots his dejected daughter out of the meeting!!

Soon after, Robin blasts Robert's judgment of Sonny and lets him know Sonny will mean more to her than he ever will.

Emily wheels Rick into plead Sonny’s case before the council of doctors. The committee of doctors and Robert agree with Robin that Patrick should head the committee since he seems the most objective of the doctors in deciding what patients get the rest of the serum. Luke shows up at the conference room and points a gun at them all and demands that Lulu get the serum since he produced it from his body and he should decide who gets it next.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "Congratulations, Junior Drake, you've been elected God. Here's your first commandment: My daughter gets the serum or somebody in this room DIES." - the episode's final quote courtesy of an armed Luke, to Patrick and the rest of the doctor's council.

Robert approaches Luke and asks him to put the gun down and listen to reason. Luke refuses to put the gun down and is willing to shoot Robert if that is what it takes. Robert tells him that if he shoots them he will accomplish nothing but more trouble and that will not help save Lulu.

Patrick and Robin discuss the list of patients that will get the serum and Lulu isn't on it. Patrick and Robin are alone in the conference room. Patrick tells her that they now have something in common; they feel bitterness toward their fathers. Robin tells him that her father pretended to be dead the last 14 years and that is not the same situation he is in with his own father. Robin looks at the dosages of the serum and tells Patrick that they could give everyone the same dosage they gave Skye originally and there would be enough for a fifth person to get the serum. They decide to give the serum to Lulu.

Robin goes to Lulu's room and tells everyone the good news about the serum. Lulu's temperature starts to drop slowly and she starts to get better and wakes up. She is so happy to see Luke and vise-versa. Robert comes back to the conference room and runs into Patrick. Patrick informs him that they have enough of the serum to give it to a fifth person and they decided to give it to Lulu. Robert is happy to hear that and thinks Patrick came up with that brilliant plan. Patrick tells him that Robin is the genius behind the idea.

Robert finds Robin pouring over patient files at the nurses' station. He brings her some more files and apologizes for making her wait. Robin turns to him and laughs a little and asks him if he is joking. He smiles at her and tells her that he never expected their reunion to be easy and compliments her on coming up with the idea to give Lulu the serum. Robin downplays it and Robert comments that she was never one to accept a compliment even when she was younger. Robin tells him that she learned from him how to think about things differently.

Noah and Robin pumped Luke for more magic serum. A worried Patrick urged at-risk Robin once again to bail. "I'm in for the duration," she told him, stubbornly. Patrick arrived in Tony’s room with the serum but it is too late. Patrick calls Time of Death: 3:52. Armed with extra serum, a grim Patrick found Emily and asked for her help: The next candidates on the list were Sonny and Nikolas. Emily can’t choose between the two the men she loves, so Patrick went for the standard coin toss method. He flipped the coin in the air and just as he catches it, Nik grabs his arm and tells him to give the serum to Sonny.

Patrick makes the decision for Emily and decides to give the antidote to Sonny. He goes in and tells Sonny that he is worse off then Nikolas. After he injects him, Emily pulls him aside and asks if Sonny really is worse off then Nikolas. Patrick confesses that they are both in the same position, but Sonny had more to lose than Nikolas.

Sonny's condition improves after being given the antidote and Patrick tells him he will be able to go home soon. Patrick and Liz talk about how quickly the virus is spreading. Patrick finds it hard to believe that the virus could be man made. A nurse tells Liz she has a phone call, but it's a bad connection. Liz answers the phone and is relieved to hear Lucky's voice on the other end. Unfortunately, Lucky appears to be saying goodbye before the phone goes dead. Liz collapses and Patrick leads her over to a couch. He tells her she needs to go find an empty room and get some rest. She says she is going to continue to help the people that she can, though, and grabs a chart and gets back to work.

Patrick has Sonny released from the hospital. Sonny doesn't want to leave Emily at the hospital but she persuades him to go home and take care of Michael and Morgan. They go to leave and run into Robert in the hallway. He tells Sonny that he can't leave the hospital with Michael because they have both been exposed to the virus and could spread it to others on the outside. Sonny tells him he has been released and Michael isn't sick, so they have been allowed to leave the hospital. Robert tells Sonny that he is the one who is in charge around here and he will have to arrest him if he tries to leave the hospital. Emily overhears their conversation and gets Robin. Sonny tells Robert that no one tells him what to do concerning his son.

Robin interrupts and tells Robert that Sonny and Michael have been tested and don't show any signs of the virus in their systems and can go home. Robert concedes to Robin and lets Sonny go. Robert comments about how Robin seemed to become friendly with the criminal element in Port Charles and accuses Sonny of using her to make himself look like a boy scout by claiming to be friends with the police commissioner's niece. Robin tells him that she doesn't believe Sonny ever used her and that he was there for her when she needed someone unlike himself.

A mysterious woman packs an envelope with a letter and one vial of antidote and sends it to General Hospital. Robin and Patrick go to the nurse's lounge to try and rest a little in between shifts. He tells her that they should be off on an island somewhere, and she makes a joke about him always hitting on her. Elizabeth comes in to give them updates, and they notice that Robin is hunched over on the bench. Patrick goes to check on her and realizes she has a fever. He carries her out of the room and insists that she get her own room.

When Robert realizes that his little girl is sick, he is furious. He comes in and tells her that she should have gone home when he told her to, but Patrick tells him to back off and let her rest. Robert leaves, and Patrick and Robin both relate to how their father's have abandoned them. When Patrick leaves the room, he finds a package with a note in it. He takes it to Robert, who reads the note while Patrick finds the vile with the antidote in it.

When Robin finds out the antidote Patrick is about to give her is the only one they have, she refuses it. Robert is upset, but he can't convince her to take it. The next two people in line are Danny and Alexis. Holly, the mysterious woman, calls Robert at the hospital and tells him that one more vial of antidote will cost him $1 Million. When Luke finds out what's going on, he decides to team up with Robert to help.

In an attempt to learn more about the virus and what they are dealing with, Robert pulls Jason aside. Jason doesn't want to give any information to Robert, though. Luke convinces him to give Robert any information that he may have, though. Luke manages to get the million dollars from Lorenzo and he and Robert go to stake out the place where they left the money. They see a mysterious lady enter and start to put a vial down. Shots are fired and when the smoke clears, the lady is gone, along with the vial. Robert is disappointed, but Luke seems to think that she will contact them again to get her money.

Patrick takes  Carly’s blood in an attempt to develop a cure. Patrick is worried about Elizabeth, but she brushes him off. Patrick warns Jason that Sam is showing the same symptoms that Danny did before he died. Jason lashes out at Patrick for not being able to help her. Sam wakes up and tells Jason not to blame Patrick for what is happening to her

Patrick cautions Mac that the virus has weakened Maxie's heart. Patrick commiserates with Lainey after finding her crying in the doctors' locker room. A grieving Mike confides to Patrick how much he regrets the mistakes he made with both of his children. Robert is stunned to recognize the extortionist is Holly!

Jason and Carly follow the trail to the airport and are able to make off with the case of antidote. They take the virus back to the hospital but are stopped at the door. The police guarding the hospital won't let them in. Thankfully, they called ahead and Patrick comes out and lets them in. Alan tells Patrick that they don't have time to test all the drugs, but Patrick goes ahead and starts administering it anyway. He's happy to be able to give Robin the medicine and continues to check on her progress.

Patrick comes in to Sam's room and tells her that she can get up and walk as long as Jason is there with her. Jason tells him that he won't leave her side. Patrick also takes the time to thank Jason for the work he did to get the antidote and save all the patients. When he leaves, both Sam and Jason are amazed at his change of attitude.

Robert tries to stop Robin from leaving the hospital but she is determined to go to Tony’s funeral. Luke delivers a moving eulogy that brings many people to tears. Later, Robert comes into Robin's hospital room and tells her that he is leaving town unless she wants him to stay. Robin tells him that she has done just fine without him in the past and she doesn't need him. She is obviously still angry with her father. He tells her if she ever needs him, he is just a phone call away. After he leaves, Patrick comes in and sees Robin crying.

Skye is readmitted to General Hospital, Robin and Dr. Lee enter her hospital room. Dr. Lee and Robin tell her that she doesn't have any sign of the virus in her system. They surprise her when they tell her she is pregnant. Skye can't believe the news and tells them she is surprised by it. They tell her that her baby will not get the virus.

Appalled to learn who's been playing surrogate mother for little John, Robin warns Jax not to let Carly anywhere near his son from now on. Patrick again argues with his ailing father about Noah's refusal to place his name on the transplant list.

At the hospital, Robin warns Jax not to trust Carly. Carly interrupts the two of them and asks Jax to come back to her place with her for a surprise. Patrick overhears Robin's conversation with Jax about Carly and tells her that he thinks she is jealous of Carly. Patrick thinks that Robin should be more decisive like Carly. Robin decides to take his advice and pulls Patrick into a kiss. She asks him out to dinner, and he accepts. She is less than thrilled when the two of them sit down and Carly and Jax are across the room.

Carly sends a bottle of champagne brought over to Robin and Patrick's table. Robin doesn't like Carly's token and walks over to her table and tells her off. Carly makes a snide comment about her being afraid to drink and get loose and be a real woman. The two women almost come to blows but Jax and Patrick keep them apart. Robin goes back to her table with Patrick and fumes about how Carly is just using Jax. Carly comes to sit at her table later. Robin tells her off and asks her why she doesn't spend more time with her own children instead of on Jax and his son. Carly gets upset finally when her words hit home.

Robin is bothered as she watches Jax and Carly dance together. Max cuts in and wants to dance with Carly. Jax lets him and goes to sit down. Max really knows how to dance and swirls her around the dance floor. Robin can't believe it when she sees Carly go over to Jax and kiss him passionately. She complains to Patrick who is more amused then angry with her for ignoring him on his date. Patrick takes Robin's hand and tells her they are leaving so she will pay more attention to him. They end up outside Kelly's. Robin looks inside Kelly's but tells Patrick she lost her appetite watching Carly at the hotel. Patrick tells her he liked seeing some fire come out of her instead of just ice and kisses her when she brings up how much she dislikes Carly.

Robin again urges Jax not to become entangled with Carly, then is appalled to witness a kiss between them. Patrick bars an irritated Nikolas from visiting baby John in the NICU. A furious Noah reminds his son why he does not want his name on the transplant list. Robin urges Noah not to reject his son but he again orders Patrick to stop meddling in his life. Bobbie encourages a guilt ridden Noah to believe he does deserve a second chance at life. Bobbie gives Noah some sage advice about the legacy he's leaving his son.

Robin contemplates diving back into the dating scene despite her HIV status

Robin enters the locker room and overhears Patrick saying that it will be difficult but he bets $100 that he can “get her to do it.” When he arrives at her door bearing flowers, she invites him in and then begins to seduce him. She wants to know where he wants to do it? On the floor, the couch, standing up? He is surprised to say the least and asks what has gotten into her? Patrick is hurt when Robin tells him that she knows he bet another doctor $100 to sleep with her.

Back at GH, she overhears the two doctors in the locker room discussing how Patrick convinced a mother that her child needed brain surgery, she realizes she had jumped to conclusions. She decides she's going to apologize to him and finds out he went to Jake's for a beer. When she gets there, she sees Carly and Patrick dancing together at Jake’s.

Patrick forces her to apologize in front of Carly. Robin is humiliated, but apologizes anyway. After Robin leaves, Patrick seductively approaches Carly. She says she has to put the brakes on (she winds up returning to Jax). She goes back to the hospital and tells Alan it is all his fault. Monica is sure it is but is curious exactly what is Alan’s fault? Robin fumes that he should have made a rule that a staff member can’t date a co-worker. Monica laughs about how much pain that would have saved them over the years. Robin begs them to stop her before she does something stupid like give in as Dr. Patrick Drake is the most pompous, arrogant man and the fact that she was even tempted should make her have her head examined. Patrick baits Robin and tries to get her to ask him if he and Carly slept together.

Alan interrupts and tells Noah has disappeared, that he hasn’t shown up for work in two days and he isn’t answering his page.

Patrick tries to find his father with the help of a nurse, Epiphany. He is pointed in Emily's direction since she was the last one to see Noah. Emily is nowhere to be found, though.

Patrick makes several calls to bars in the area looking for a missing Noah. He is told that no one has seen Noah lately. He gets off the phone. Robin approaches the nurses' station and sees him. She asks him if he found Noah yet. Patrick reveals his frustration and worry over Noah for a moment. Then he switches gears and asks Robin to go to Luke's re-opening tonight. Robin can't believe he is interested in going out with her when his father is still missing. She tells him she will not go out with him and tells him off for being so insensitive concerning his father.

The new nurse Epiphany overhears their conversation and just shakes her head. Dr. Lee comes over to the nurses' station and Patrick turns around and asks her to go with him to the casino. Dr. Lee accepts his invitation. He tells her to go find a gown to wear since it requires formal attire. Robin is incredulous watching Patrick walk away. Epiphany comes over and tells her she doesn't understand him any more than she does.

Robin is at the nurse's station when Epiphany receives word that Noah has been found. A detox clinic nearby has called and is looking for his next of kin. Robin goes to pick him up and takes him back to the hospital. She looks at his file and realizes that he took himself to the clinic before he fell off the wagon and started drinking again. She goes to the Haunted Star and takes Patrick away from his date with Dr. Lee. Patrick appears unmoved when he first sees his father, but when Noah collapses after trying to leave, Patrick helps him back into bed.

Noah continues to refuse to be put back on the transplant list and then refuses his pain medication. In a desperate attempt to save his father's life, Patrick hands him a syringe with enough drugs to stop his heart. Patrick thinks that Robin is going to lecture him, but instead she tells him that he just may have saved his father's life.

Patrick warns Noah he'll be dead within days if they don't act soon. Prodded by Robin, Patrick confesses to his incensed dad how he forged Noah's signature to get him on the donor list. Patrick argues with Alan about putting Noah at the top of the donor list for a liver. Alan tells him there are protocols and procedures that Noah must go through if they find a match for a liver. Patrick tells him he plans to donate part of his liver for Noah to save his life. Alan doesn't think it is that cut and dry. Patrick gets more upset that Alan won't go along with his plan. Alan tells Patrick to go sit somewhere by himself and cool off.

Alan leaves and Robin approaches him after overhearing what was said. She tells Patrick that Alan is right. Patrick doesn't want her opinion and goes in to see Noah, who is getting worse according to Robin. Patrick talks to Noah and Robin listens in. Patrick tells Noah that he wants him to live and that Noah gave him life twice, by fathering him and for steering him toward his career as a brilliant surgeon. Robin is touched by his words.

Robin urges Patrick not to risk being accused of any impropriety by operating on the wounded officer whose liver is a match for Noah. She warns him that if something goes wrong it could look suspicious. Later, Lucky overhears a staff member make the ugly suggestion that Patrick deliberately lost his very first patient in order to provide Noah with a new liver.

Bobbie talks to Maxie about Jesse being an organ donor and “paying it forward” by approving the transplant donor for Noah. With Jesse on a ventilator until his organs can be harvested, a shaken Patrick asks Robin if she believes he lost his patient on purpose? Lucky attacks Patrick and accuses him of murder. Robin assures Lucky that far from being negligent during Jesse's surgery Patrick instead did everything humanly possible to keep the police officer alive. Robin offers to keep a grateful Patrick company as he waits anxiously for word on his dad's transplant operation. After Jesse's liver proves not to be viable, Patrick insists on immediately becoming his father's living donor.

Patrick schedules himself for immediate surgery but discovers he'll need a shrink to sign off on a psychiatric evaluation first. Robin forges Lainey's signature on the necessary form to expedite the transplant surgery. Robin wakes up after falling asleep the night before in a chair next to Patrick's hospital bed. She can't believe she slept that long and spent more time with Patrick than Noah. She leaves to go check on Noah. She comes back with a small tub of water, sponge, and body wash. She tells him she volunteered to give him a sponge bath. He gets all arrogant about how she has an ulterior motive and really wants to see his body. Robin surprises him by pouring cold water onto his nether regions with a sponge. He jumps up and can't believe she would do that to him. She leaves the new nurse, Epiphany to give him a sponge bath instead. He isn't too pleased with the thought of the nurse giving him a sponge bath.

Robin returns later with some pictures of him having his sponge bath. She tells him she is going to enjoy having complete control over him while he is a patient still. He makes a remark about how she can have total control anytime she wants. He tells her he is on the mend and knows his blood pressure and heart rate are normal. Robin agrees he is on the mend but warns him he better be careful because Noah will wake up to find out that he received about 60% of his liver and won't be too happy. Epiphany peaks her head into the room and notifies them that Noah is regaining consciousness.

Robin orders Patrick to stay in bed and recoup his strength before he'll be allowed to visit his father. Dreaming of his late wife, Noah pulls Bobbie close when she leans over his bed. Later, Noah awakens and is stunned to realize he's been given part of his son's liver. Noah is furious to learn that Patrick donated his own liver to his father against his specific orders. Noah decided to take action and Robin was suspended, which Patrick overheard. Against doctor's orders, Patrick got out of bed to see his father and chastised him for his actions. Then, Patrick collapsed and Noah called for help.

Robin told Patrick that he passed out while visiting Noah and now has to have surgery to stop his internal bleeding. She also reminded him that she can't operate on him because she got suspended. Patrick instructed her to go across the hall and tell Noah that he refused the surgery until he drops the lawsuit against Robin and the hospital. Noah told Robin that he didn't know that she would get involved. Later, Robin told Noah that Patrick's procedure went smoothly and that his son will be fine. Patrick wakes to see Robin's smiling face at his side. She told him it was touch and go but jokingly tells him that the vasectomy was a success.

An officious hospital administrator vows to ensure that Robin loses her medical license for operating on Patrick while under suspension. Patrick berates Noah for endangering Robin's career. Noah informs Miss Sneed he's withdrawing his lawsuit. When she blusters, he makes some threats of his own that his allegations were made while he was doped up after surgery and threatens to file a complaint about her.

Robert again attempts to convince Robin that it was in her best interest that he stayed away for so many years. Robin tearfully informs her father that his efforts to reconcile are too little, too late. Patrick finds her at the nurses' station trying to hide her tears. He asks her what is wrong. She tells him that she is worried that Lucky is pushing himself too hard and isn't a very good patient. Patrick tells her that he isn't a very good patient either. Robin interrupts their conversation to ask Patrick what he is doing out of bed. Elizabeth leaves them to argue. Patrick tells Robin he is well enough to go back to work. She disagrees with him.

Noah asks Epiphany for some files on a surgical patient and is dressed and ready to go as well. Epiphany makes it clear to him that he is not ready to practice medicine yet. Patrick watches his father and tells Robin that if his father is well enough than he is. Robin just shakes her head in disgust. Patrick finds Noah in the locker room. He tells him he is not strong enough to perform such intricate surgery right now. Noah tells him he can do a better job than his son and leaves. Patrick thinks he is acting crazy.

Robin finds him moments later and asks him what is going on with him and his father. Patrick asks her why she is so concerned about his father when he almost ruined her career. She tells him that she is overcompensating with his father because she can't deal with her own father right now.  Patrick runs into Elizabeth outside of Lucky's room and tells her he did that favor for her that she asked of him. Lucky wheels himself out of his room and sees them talking together. He doesn't look pleased to see Patrick near his wife and jumps to the wrong conclusion.

Robin assures Lucky he has no reason to be jealous of Patrick where his wife is concerned. Patrick suggests to an irked Robin that she's been lusting after him since the day they met. Robin extends an olive branch to her grateful father, then immediately grows angry again when she learns he's leaving for the Markham Islands in just a few hours.  Robert advises his fuming daughter to stop hiding behind her diagnosis and start enjoying life for a change. Robin marches over to Patrick's place and demands that he make love to her.

Robin comes on strong with an astounded Patrick, who eagerly responds to her passionate kisses. Robin finally pulls away from Patrick as second thoughts begin to weigh heavily on her mind. Patrick encourages Robin to loosen up and let some joy into her life for once. Robin stomps away from Patrick's place in a huff after Gwen shows up for her date with young Dr. Drake.

Lucky has a nightmare about his wife romancing Patrick. Noah and Patrick butt heads after the elder Dr. Drake steals a surgical patient out from under his bristling son's nose. Robin complains to Epiphany about being stuck in a rut.

Lulu shows up at the hospital to see Robin. She pleads with her to call Robert and persuade him not to go after Luke as she is afraid that Robert will get her father killed. Robin is amused by how worried she is about Robert. She tries to reassure her that Robert and Luke go way back and that they are always trying to one-up each other. Lulu asks her to try and stop Robert but Robin tells her Robert won't listen to her and will do what he wants. Robin points out that their dads are never boring.
