Curlyqgrl's Nikolas Cassadine Tapes

Early Nik #1 June 24, 1996 - January 22, 1997 - 8 hour original edit
This edit introduces Nikolas Cassidine to GH. This is edited to Nik's scenes, with about 15 minutes of set up leading up to Nik donating bone marrow to save his baby sister. I do have another series, the Cassidine vs. Spencer 1996 #1, #2, #3 which is more complete and contains all of Luke, all of Laura, all of Lucky, all of Stefan, and all of Nik's scenes. So if your interested in the entire storyline of Lulu's illness, the impact on the Spencers when he arrives in Port Charles, Lucky and Luke's reaction to him, Stefan's manipulations of Laura, using NIk to get to her, the conflict her pull towards Nik has on her relationship with Luke, all of the early drama and conflict between the Spencers and the Cassidines is covered on the Cassidine vs. Spencer series. I only recommend the Early Nik edit for a fan who is more interested in something more edited to Nik's scenes and doens't want the full storyline showing how his arrival impacts everyone else.
This edit begins with Lulu being seriously ill and Lucky is not a match. As her condition worsens, Laura finally approaches Stefan to ask him to have her son, Nik, tested as a potential bone marrow donor. Laura is very relieved when he is a match and Lulu receives the transplant which is successful. So while this is mostly edited to Nik's scenes, I did include some of the early set up of Lulu's illness and Laura approaching Stefan to have Nik tested as a donor. Nik visits his new little sister in the hospital. Lucky is very upset to find a strange guy in his sister's room, he is even more shocked when Nik haughtily informs him that he his Lulu's brother and he saved her! Stefan and Nik move to Wyndemere. Laura tells Nik that Helena had her mother, Leslie Weber, killed. Luke confronts a runaway Nik in the catacombs, pulls a gun on him and tells him to leave town. Nik sneaks into the Spencer's to say goodbye to LuLu, Lucky finds him there and they struggle. Nik falls down the stairs and hits his head and is rushed to GH. I also included the scenes as Laura and Stefan anxiously wait for word on his condition. When he does wake up, Laura later tells Nik that she can't see him anymore. Just as Nik and Stefan are going to leave town, Stefan arranges a financial crisis at GH and Laura has no choice but to ask him to stay and bail out GH. Luke plants drugs on Nik (its really candy).
I also included the scenes of Stefan telling Laura that her mother, Leslie, is alive (it is believed she was killed in a car accident in 1984). He takes her to where she is, as Laura enters the building, it explodes! I also included the aftermath of the explosion as Stefan and Lucky react to "Laura's death". Nik reels with the news of his mother's death, he shows up at Katherine's door and kisses her. During the primetime "Twist of Fate" scenes, Nik goes to the cemetary to visit Leslie's grave (he doesn't yet know she is alive) and I also included scenes of Laura's funeral, though she is soon shown to be alive and leaving town with Luke, Lucky, and Leslie, her long thought dead mother. I also included the scenes when Tom tells Sonny about set up as the whole escape is told with flashbacks to set up their plan and shows exactly what happened. Stefan mistakenly shoots Katherine at Wyndemere. An APB is put out on Luke as forensics determine Luke's fingerprints were found on the gun that was used to shoot Katherine. Nik meets Emily and he takes an upset, stoned Emily home, then sees her again at the Quartermaine New Year's Eve party, and then again at the PC Grille at her birthday party. Spencer vs Cassadine #1 June 14 - August 14, 1996 - 8 hours
This series covers the conflict and drama between the Spencers and Cassidines and contains the return of the Cassidines to Port Charles. The #1 in this series starts just after Laura has been acquitted of Damian's murder but they don't get any time to celebrate as Leslie Lu comes down with a very high fever. They rush her to the hospital and after extensive testing, Simone tells them that Lu has aplastic anemia and she needs a bone marrow transplant. The best option is a sibling which has a 25% chance of being a match. Unfortunately, Lucky is not a match and one by one as all of their friends and family are tested no one is a match. Luke and Laura are desperate for a bone donor donor. Bobbie tells them about the daughter she gave up for adoption and Luke begins searching for this new neice. Laura finally approaches Stefan to ask him to have her son, Nik, tested as a potential bone marrow donor. Laura is very relieved when he is a match and Lulu receives the transplant which is successful. Nik visits his new little sister in the hospital. Lucky is very upset to find a strange guy in his sister's room, he is even more shocked when Nik haughtily informs him that he his Lulu's brother and he saved her! Stefan and Nik move to Wyndemere, Luke heads to Greece to confront Helena, Laura loses it when Lulu is missing after Lucky had taken her from the hospital to protect her from the Cassidines. Spencer vs Cassadine #2 August 15 - October 14, 1996 - 8 hrs
The Spencer vs. Cassidine #2 edit contains with Nik/Lucky/Luke/Laura/Stefan's storyline. Laura tells Nik that Helena had her mother, Leslie Weber, killed. Luke pulls a gun on Nik and tells him to leave town. Nik sneaks into the Spencer's to say goodbye to LuLu, Lucky finds him there and they struggle. Nik falls down the stairs and hits his head and is rushed to GH. Laura later tells Nik that she can't see him anymore. General Hospital is cclosed, the BB King concert, Stefan and Laura's island flashbacks begin. Virgiina Benson, Carly's adoptive mother, shows Luke a more recent picture she found of her daughter, Caroline. The revealation that the picture identifies her as Carly is on the #3 edit as the aftermath of Luke's discovery is contained. This edit contains all of the Luke, Laura, Lucky, Nik, Stefan scenes. Spencer vs. Cassadine #3 October 14 – December 27, 1996 – 12 hours on three 4 hour dvds
When I did the Cassidine vs. Spencer #1-3 new master dvds, I wound up adding additional scenes along the way. This resulted in my adding an extra dvd to this portion of the series, a new Cassidine vs. Spencer #3C dvd. So the Cassidine vs. Spencer #3C is now a 12 hour edit on three 4 hour dvds. This edit continues with Stefan's plotting. Just as he has agreed to leave town, he has arranged the financial downfall of GH and forces Laura to ask him to stay and loan the institution the money it needs to stay open. Luke learns that Carly is actually Bobbie's daughter, Caroline. Bobbie has discovered Carly in bed with her husband. When Luke arrives at the brownstone, he tells the devastated Bobbie that her daughter is dead (to avoid her learning that it was her daughter who slept with her husband). He then confronts Carly and tells her that Caroline is dead, and then heads back to the brownstone and finds Stefan has conveniently arrived to take Bobbie in his arms. Just as Nik & Stefan are going to leave town, Stefan arranges a financial crisis at GH and Laura has no choice but to ask him to stay and bail out GH. Luke & Laura stage a fight, Luke plants drugs on Nik (its really candy), Stefan continues to pursue Bobbie and when she flys to the Dominican Republic to get a divorce, he follows her there and they sleep together. Lucky plays Timoria with Stefan and leads to him getting trapped in quicksand in the bog. Laura desperately searches for her son and calls Stefan for help. He winds getting caught in the bog himself and Luke is forced to rescue Stefan as well as Lucky. Stefan continues to romance Bobbie and marries her towards the end of the edit. L&L realize that Stefan is behind the game and play it to find out what the ultimate goal is. Laura figures out that Lady Manguard is an anagram for grandma and suggests that it could mean Leslie is still alive! We see Leslie's face for the first time, she is alive! I also included all of L&L's 15th anniversary episode with all of the flashbacks. This is followed by the Twist of Fate primetime scenes with Laura's funeral, Nik mourning at her grave, Luke, Laura, and Leslie leave town, as Stefan shoots Kat at Wyndemere. Spencer vs Cassadine #4 December 27, 1996 - April 2, 1997 - 7 hrs 45 mins
This edit cover's New Year's Eve, Laura's return from the dead (about 30 minutes into this edit), and she brings Leslie back with her! More Greek flashbacks as Stefan grieves for Laura, Bobbie sees Laura is alive and confronts her. At GH, they are having a dedication to Laura and to Leslie and Laura shows! The town is shocked to learn she is alive and her death had been faked, Bobbie confronts Luke, Leslie begins her recooperation, Laura takes Leslie to Switzerland, Emily kisses Nik, Tony rescues Bobbie from a burning building. During the month of Jan, 1997 when the Spencer's were off screen I choose not to include all of the Stefan and Nik scenes as they were mostly centered around Katherine and didn't seem to fit on the Cassidine vs. Spencer series. So on the #4 I did not include all of Stefan and all of Nik as their storylines all started to take slightly separate paths. A lot of scenes with Kat that really got away from the whole Spencer vs. Cassidine drama and I felt those would be better on a Stefan & Kat edit (sorry but I don't have this to offer). I did include all of Laura's scenes, all of Luke, Lucky, and a LOT of Stefan and Nik. I skipped some Stefan and Bobbie during this time frame, I also skipped some of Stefan and Nik when they were with Kat and I tried to keep the focus on the Spencers and Cassidines and their relationships with each other. Spencer vs Cassadine #5 April 3 - June 30, 1997 - 8 hrs
I finally completed the Spencer vs. Cassadine tape #5. Many of you may remember that I got to a section of my original edits which lasts from May-July, 1997 where these episodes have a slight buzz in the background, some episodes are worse than others. So for that reason I stopped editing on this tape when I got to the May, 97 episodes. However, many people over the past year asked me to continue this series. I was fortunate though that a friend gave me her original tapes from this time frame. I think the video quality is better on my episodes, while the sound quality is usually better on the tapes during this time frame that I was given...so editing this took longer as I would go back and forth between the two sets of tapes checking the episodes to see which would record better, some scenes will look and sound better than others but it is all highly watchable.
During this time frame Laura is still in Switzerland so not a lot of L&L together, there is a lot of Stefan & Bobbie, lot of Luke with Bobbie, Alexis has some great scenes with Luke, and with Stefan, some Nik, some Lucky (though he isn't on this tape as much), and a very little Laura (Genie must have been on maternity leave). I didn't include a lot of Katherine, so there is very little Kat & Stefan together, very little if any of Nik & Kat. Bobbie gets a clue about Stefan's interest in Kat, and his Faberge Egg plan, culminating in her teaming up with Luke, getting busted by Stefan for spying on him, and him throwing her out. Some cute stuff as Lucky meets Sarah Webber and his crush on her begins...a great NB sequence when Luke & Bobbie do the disco dance sequence. Click here to read the full edit description.

Spencer vs Cassadine #6 June 30 - November 10, 1997 - 7 hrs 57 mins
This tape contains the conclusion of Stefan throwing Bobbie out. Genie is still on maternity leave so Laura is not on this tape. There is a lot of good stuff between Luke & Stefan as the Faberge Egg/computer virus story draws to an end. This tape also includes all of Lucky's scenes up to August 1st (from that point on all of his scenes are contained on the Liz and Lucky tapes so they aren't duplicated here unless with Stefan or Luke). Then Tony Geary goes on vacation. During this time, the storyline becomes about Alexis conning Stefan into believing his beloved Katherine is actually his half sister, Natasha (who is really Alexis). She is of course doing this for his own good, but talk about devious! It was kinda of fun to see her scheming. Luke returns from vacation and starts to figure out something is going on. He pressures Kat to go to the cops with the info that Stefan is the one who shot her. She finally agrees that if he finds the gun she will. So he searches Wyndmere and finds evidence of Alexis dealings (that she has hidden away in a tunnel) which he leaves for Stefan to find. By the end of the tape, Stefan has caught onto Alexis's betrayal. Click here to read the full edit description.

Spencer vs Cassadine #7 November 10, 1997 - February 10, 1998 - 8 hrs
This tape picks up with Stefan confronting Alexis over her betrayal and throwing her out, he then reunites with Kat, Nik gets shot outside of Luke's club, and Helena returns to town. Laura is still off screen during this time, Luke has returned to and is trying to hide that Carly is Caroline (the daughter he told Bobbie had died), and sleuthing around till he finds out that Alexis is Natasha (Stefan's sister). Spencer vs Cassadine #8 July 13 - October 12, 1998 - 8 hrs
This edit contains all of Luke's scenes, all clips of Laura (lots of flashbacks but Genie still on maternity leave during this time frame). I also included the Stefan scenes as pertaining to Luke and Laura. I did not include all of the Stefan & Kat though towards the end of the edit I began including more of them as he proposes to her and they begin to plan the ball. I did not include the Robin & Nik scenes (Note: I have done the Jason & Robin edits which include all of the Nik & Robin scenes, and I have done all of the Liz and Lucky storyline on a separate edit series). I kept the focus on the Spencer vs. Cassidine conflict, which centers around Luke/Laura/Stefan/Helena and occasionally Lucky/Nik. This edit covers Liz's rape and the aftermath as Lucky takes her to the Spencers, Bobbie encourages Luke to tell Lucky about Laura's rape, Luke has flashbacks to Laura in the park after the rape, Stefan has flashbacks to him and Laura in Greece after Katherine gives him a bench, Nik tells Lucky that Luke raped Laura, a disbelieving Lucky investigates and is shocked to discover the truth, he confronts Luke and moves out. Helena returns to town and uses the estrangement between Luke and Lucky to get Lucky to work for her. Luke receives a portrait of Helena, which he hangs in his club, Nik tells Luke that Stefan has a portrait of Laura, Stefan proposes to Katherine and plans for the Bacchanalia Ball begin. The trunk arrives from Greece with Laura’s dress, Luke and Alexis plot to kill Helena during the ball.
I can't take any credit for this description other than organizing and formatting it. There are some amazingly descriptive descriptions of scenes, particularly between Luke and Lucky that come from Soapzone.com. The recappers from this time frame did an incredible job of capturing a moving storyline. Spencer vs Cassadine #9 May 20 - July 13, 1998 - 8 hrs
This is a big edit... it contains Laura's return, Stefan & Katherine's engagement party ...the Bacchanalia Ball (I included ALL of the balls scenes, pretty much two entire episodes without commercials of course). This is followed by Katherine falling to her supposed death from the parapet (that Luke and Alexis had loosened). The tool used is found in Stefan's possession and he is arrested for murder. I also included all of the Luke, Laura, Stefan, Nikolas scenes from the June primetime episode. I also included some key moments from the Nurse's Ball - the celebration montage, Lucky & Liz singing Jailhouse Rock with Taggert, the Aids story montage, and Ned & Emily singing Power to Believe, I also included Tony's rant as he directed it at the Cassidines. This is a full 8 hour original edit from my original episodes, the quality on both the #8 and #9 is going to be quite good. I included every Luke, every Laura scene (its WONDERFUL to have her back on screen), Stefan, and quite a bit of Nik's storyline as he was involved more with the Spencer vs. Cassidines during this time frame (previously he had more scenes with Robin and his whole storyline with Robin is included in the Robin & Jason edits, I also have already done all of the Liz and Lucky storyline separate so I did not include all of their scenes unless they were with Luke/Laura/Stefan/Helena). Spencer vs Cassadine #10 July 13 - October 12, 1998 - 8 hrs
This edit contains all of Luke’s scenes, all of Laura’s scenes. Included on this edit is Lulu’s birthday, Stefan’s trial and Kat’s return from the dead. Luke is furious when he finds out Laura and Stefan had a past sexual relationship. There is a lot of Stefan on this edit, as he and Laura talk about their relationship with more island flashbacks. The edit ends as Laura and Stefan kiss. There is also quite a bit of Nik, as more of his relationship with Laura is explored. There is not as much of Luke on this edit as this is around the time of his annual vacation. Click here to read the full edit description.

Spencer vs Cassadine #11 October 1 - December 23, 1998 - 8 hrs
This edit continues to cover all of Luke's scenes, and all of Laura's scenes during this time frame. There is also a lot of Stefan's scenes (with Nik, Bobbie, Kat, Laura, Luke) though not all of Stefan's separate scenes are included though I would say most of them. Luke is offscreen during the first 2 1/2 hours of this edit as Tony Geary takes his vacation. Laura and Stefan's history is explored more through additional Greek Island flashbacks to their earlier days. Stefan takes advantage of Luke leaving Laura, to begin pursuing "Lasha". There are several kisses, dinner, and they begin spending a lot of time together. So this is a good edit for the Stefan and Laura fans.
I included all of the scenes for Nik's birthday party, up through the end as Luke returns and stands gazing at Wyndemere. Luke kidnaps Lucky and takes him up to a cabin for several days, while Liz and Nik worry about his whereabouts. Luke's foot gets caught in a bear trap and as he writhes in agony, he has flashbacks to him and Laura over the years. Stefan hires Jerry to investigates Katherine's accident off the parapet (Luke caused by loosening the railing in an attempt to kill Helena). Luke has a great series of scenes first with Nik, then with Stefan on the 18th anniversary of Stavros' death. Luke doesn't quite spill the beans to Nik about Stefan being Nik's real father though he is very tempted to. Luke also has scenes with Alexis as they work together against Helena's latest plot. Luke discovers that Bobbie's latest boyfriend, Jerry Jacks, is working for Stefan. Kat remembers the night she fell off the parapet, remembers learning that Stefan is Nik's father. There is actually quite a bit of Nik on this edit, scenes with Stefan, Luke, Laura, and Lucky though of course not all of Nik's scenes. There is a bit of Lucky, with Laura, and with Luke while up in the cabin, but the best choice for the Lucky storyline during this time frame remains the Liz and Lucky edits (as those edits contain all of Lucky's scenes). Lucky & Liz #3 June 29 - November 3, 1998 - 8 hrs
This is one of my favorite Liz & Lucky edits. Liz continues to deal with the rape, and is worried about being able to respond to a guy and asks Lucky to kiss her. When he leans in to oblige, she freaks out and runs. Murty offers to tutor Liz, she thinks he is the rapist so she agrees in order to try to get more info on him. Liz and Lucky sneak into Murty's and Liz is scared and stabs Lucky by mistake, they realize that Murty is gay and his roommate assures them he was at a party the night of the rape and couldn't have done it. A guilt ridden Liz, cares for Lucky in her room. Jason arranges for a romantic night out for the young couple, complete with a limo, an elegant dinner, and dancing. Afterwards, they return to the boxcar, Lucky sings "Elizabeth" and they share their first kiss. About half way into the edit, Emily's blackmail storyline begins. So there is quite a bit of Nik and Em on the last four hours of this edit as the foursome work together and go undercover at Em's modeling agency in NY. The scenes between Nik and Lucky are very funny as they very grudginly work together to help Emily, and a bond slowly starts to grow between them (these are classic scenes). They discover that Tom, the photographer, is the rapist. When Tom realizes they are onto him, he pulls a gun and shoves them in a closet. Nik and Lucky rescue the girls, Tom returns but the boys overpower him, and he is lead away in handcuffs. The edit ends on Elizabeth's birthday as they sweetly kiss. Nikolas & Emily #1 May 26th - August 18, 2003 - 8 hours
This is an 8 hr original edit from my original episodes. This tape begins with Nik & Em's first scene together in late May, and includes all of Nik's scenes so it has all of him with Emily, Lydia, Stefan, ect...and it also contains all of Em's scenes so its her whole storyline during this time frame with Nik, Zander, Q's. The tape ends just after the carnival, when Em's white counts drop and she goes into ICU. Zander heads to Jake's to get drunk, and Coleman calls Nik to come get him.
I have also completed an Emily Returns tape that covers all of her scenes from her return on April 1st into July 1st, so there is some duplication between the Emily Returns tape and the Nem tape #1 as Nem have their first scene together on May 26 (which is about 4 1/2-5 hrs into the Em Returns tape) so the scenes up into July 1st will be on both tapes and the last 3 - 3 1/2 hours of Nem scenes on the Em Returns tape will be duplicated on the beginning of the Nem #1. Nikolas & Emily #2 August 18 - November 17, 2003 - 8 hr original edit
Nik and Zander get drunk at Jake's bar. Emily has contracted bacterial meningitis, winds up in the ICU and almost dies. As she fights for her life, Zander proposes. They are married in the ICU, and whisked off to their honeymoon in another part of GH by Dillon dressed up as a Venetian gondolier. Emily dreams of Nik, and dreams she kisses him, and makes a turn for the better. Capelli takes pictures of a passionate kiss between her and Nik during a power outage, the pictures are sent to Lydia and she shows them to Zander. Luke holds a mock trial for Stefan's murder of Summer, and Stefan is arrested. Stefan dies in a confrontation with Luke, Helena returns for his funeral. Nik gives Lydia divorce papers, Nik & Em sleep together after the Halloween masquerade ball and Zander sees them together, Em & Zander split up, Nem pledge their love to each other. The tape ends just after Zander pulls a gun and threatens Nik and Emily has Zander arrested. Click here to read the full edit description.

Nikolas & Emily #3 November 11, 2003 - Feb 23, 2004 - 8 hour original edit
This edit contains Sam and Nik going into partnership on a treasure hunt, Zander setting the bomb and the ship exploding while Nik & Em are on board, Nik gives Em an engagement ring for Christmas, Luke's Christmas Carol fantasy in which Nik plays a key role, Em finds Blackthorn's journal and the pirate fantasy of Constance Quartermaine and Blackthorne is played out, Nik is arrested for Cody's murder. Alexis makes her own deal with Ric to get Nik off. Nik finds Zander in the basement of the hotel and knocks him out, this leads into the Port Charles Hotel fire, and a falling chandelier gravely injures Emily. While she is taken off by helicopter, Nik goes down the stairwell. Emily waits outside desperate for news and sees a missing Jason emerge from the shadows without Nik who is presumed dead and Em grieves. Zander is also presumed dead. Nik shows up suddenly at Wyndemere very much alive, but is soon arrested for Zander's murder. Click here to read the full edit description.

Nikolas & Emily #4 February 24 - May 13, 2004 - 8 hour original edit
This edit contains all of Nik's and all of Emily's scenes during this time frame. It includes Zander's death, Nik's accident and subsequent amnesia, Mary taking advantage of it and telling him he is her husband "Connor''. Mary meets Emily and gets a job at GH, Connor painting the church and meeting Lorenzo. It ends as Connor agrees to work for Lorenzo. Click here to read the full edit description.

This edit covers a lot of great storyline! Nik & Mary get married in Mexico, Emily is shocked to discover Nik is alive and kissing Mary! Lucky falls in love with Emily and kisses her. Emily and Nik begin a friendship though she doesn’t tell him his true identity. Their passion for each other takes over and they sleep together. Emily tells Liz that Nik is alive, Liz tells Lucky who is angry with Em that she didn’t tell him his brother was alive! Mary tries to commit suicide twice. While groggy she tells “Connor” the truth and Emily’s knowledge of him. He is furious at Lucky and Emily. Lila’s memorial scenes included. Click here to read the full edit description.

Nikolas & Emily #6 July 30 - October 25, 2004 - 8 hour original edit
This edit contains Helena having Nik locked up at Shadybrook, Emily helps him escape, Nik gets his memory back and they reunite, Mary goes psycho at the Q mansion while the power is out after a storm and she kills Sage and Trent, Mary dies and Emily is suspected of her murder. Nik and Emily get engaged, Helena curses them just as she did Luke and Laura so many years ago. Helena and Tracy work together to try to split them up and convince them that the curse is real. Emily almost drowns in her own bathtub, and grows weaker daily seemingly affected by the curse, Nik and Em go to Greece to try to break the curse, and find they do so by kissing in the Garden of Aphrodite. Helena tries to attack Emily with a dagger. Alexis stops her, later while struggling with Nik, Helena falls over a cliff seemingly to her death though no body is found. Emily Rape Aftermath January 28 - May 3, 2005 - 4 hours
Nik was offscreen from late January into early May, and during this time frame he was only shown in a few pretaped scenes in Feb. I decided to offer the following as a separate edit that focuses on Emily’s storyline during the timeframe that he was gone. There is about 20-25 minutes of Nik & Emily scenes on this edit, so the main focus is on Emily’s storyline while Nik is gone. I think pick up the Nem #8 with Nik’s return and no Nem scene is missed so the purpose of this edit is to continue with Emily’s storyline during this timeframe. This is one four hour edit.
This edit begins with the aftermath of Lucky's shooting as he fights for his life and is in a coma, Em testifies at the trial when Luke wants to pull the plug on Lucky, fortunately Lucky wakes up and begins to recover. Em begins feeling and dealing with the aftermath of the rape, lashing out, and turns to Liz to confide in. Em talks to Nik on the phone and then visits him in prison but freaks out when he pulls her towards him to kiss her.
The Q's grieve at AJ's funeral, then its Michael's memorial when he is presumed dead. Em begins having more and more flashbacks to the rape, Liz has told Lucky and he has moved into Wyndemere intent on protecting and helping Em while Nik is away. Liz grows concerned over their closeness. Em holds a shotgun on two goons who are attacking Sam at Kelly's. This four hours also goes through Emily finding Alan has locked Monica in the freezer to stop her from notifying anyone when AJ returns with Michael, then during a confrontation AJ accidentally shoots Alan, while Em desperately tries to help her father, Jason and AJ struggle and fall off the balcony. Nikolas & Emily #8 May 3- August 22, 2005 - also included Feb scenes edited to Nem
This edit continues from where the Nem #7 leaves off with the next Nik & Emily scene. This edit includes Emily's visits to Pentonville and she freaks out when he tries to touch her, when she visits him again she tells him she wants a divorce and doesn't visit him again till May. I did not include all of Emily's scenes while Nik was in prison (as Tyler was off shooting his miniseries). Emily's scenes from Feb-April, 2005 are contained on the separate "The Rape Aftermath" Emily edit for anyone who would like to follow her storyline while Nik is away.
      From May 3- August 22, I included all of Emily’s scenes and all of Nik’s scenes so this edit contains their entire storyline. It covers Emily visiting Nik again in May, and she finally tells him that Connor raped her. Helena kidnaps Emily, then Lucky leads the rescue and Helena is arrested, Nik is exonerated and released from prison, Emily learns that Luke raped Laura and confronts him, Nik and Emily slowly begin spending time together though she is easily startled anytime he tries to touch her. Nik agrees to role-play as Connor to give Emily a chance to get closure over the rape. They agree to just date, but their relationship turns more intimate when Nik finds Emily at the gazebo after Courtney's wedding to Jax, and they walk through the motions of remarrying each other, complete with slipping the ring on her finger and kissing the bride, though Emily tenses as he does so.
      Emily gets involved with Michael's therapy and is a support system for him. She tells Sonny about the rape and how therapy has helped her, when he is resistant to Michael continuing with therapy though Emily admits to Nik that she has been using the situation to hide from her dealing with her own situation. Nik begins to grown frustrated at her continuing distance, though she assures him she still loves him. They decide to sleep together, though Emily does use the work excuse to avoid spending as much time with Nik as she could. Emily remains emotionally distant, and is not able to feel passion for Nik the way she did before the rape. Nik is torn up over this, and finds comfort in a new friendship with Courtney as she is also struggling with Liz carrying Jax's baby as their surrogate. A hurricane hits Port Charles, and Nik and Courtney spend more time together in the barn, and run into each other on the docks. One night, Nik kisses Courtney and Liz sees them. They both agree to end the budding flirtation and then wind up on the same plane together headed to the same Bahama island, wind up in the same hotel, and yes, in hotel rooms directly across the hall from each other.
      Emily and Jax arrive at the hotel room and find them together wearing bathrobes and believe the worst. Emily tells Nik the relationship is over, but she doesn’t blame him. This edit ends as Emily confronts Courtney. Click here to read the full edit description.

Nik #9 (Nik & Emily & Courtney) August 23 - December 2, 2005 - 8 hour edit
Nik and Emily go back and forth on wanting to be together, still in love with each other. He wants to be with her but she is hurt over his kissing Courtney. She finally believes he didn't sleep with Courtney and begins to trust him again. In the meantime, he sleeps with Courtney and the next day Emily tells him she was wrong about splitting up and wants to get back together and he tells her it is too late. They both learn of Courtney's pregnancy, though she isn't sure Nik is the father. Nik is terrified when a crazed Carly stabs Emily. Nik & Emily throw a fairy tale wedding and reception for Liz and Lucky at Wyndemere.
This edit continues with Nik's storyline from where the Nem #8 ends. This edit contains all of Nik's scenes including his storyline with both Emily and Courtney, so this is more of a Nik edit though I did include quite a few additional Emily scenes, but did not include all of Emily's separate storyline (skipped the Emily and the Sonny & Carly storyline). I also included the wedding preparations, and the Emily and Liz scenes, and the wedding and some of the reception. I also included a lot of the train collision and aftermath and included Nik's scenes, and Emiily's scenes and those they were each involved with. GH Luncheon Tape #12 - August, 2003 - 2 hrs 5 mins - As always I started off the tape with shots of the exterior of the hotel, and also added some street shots, and some of the nearby restaurants. I included the soap boutique so you guys could see the items available there. I was able to get a really nice interview with Natalia at Chad's event. Pat Griffin was very kind, I volunteered to tape the event as a benefit for Cystic Fibrosis and she arranged a little pre-event interivew with Natalia and Chad that I could add to the GH Luncheon tape...so these two are about 10 minutes.
     I was again asked to do some coverage in the press room (bless you Debbie Morris for giving me this opportunity). Again, I'm NOT a professional videographer just a goober fan with a video camera. In the press room I interview Scott (Dillon), this is a nice 5 minute interivew (most of the rest are shorter). Then Dylan (Michael), Lindsay (Georgie), Scott Egan (Johnny), Loreli (Penny, not sure if I'm spelling her name correctly - sorry!), Greg Vaughn, Robyn Richards, Stuart & leslie, Nancy Lee, Ted King. Several of the actors are signing autographs. Tamara is signing a bat (not sure if its her bats or Jason's!). There are also photo opportunities for the photographers with Tamara, Ted, Nancy Lee, Steve, Alicia,
     Then its on to the main event and the actors are introduced and enter the ballroom amid HUGE screams from the fans. Then in a truly surprising, thrilling, shocking moment which Debbie Morris kept tightly under wraps...she goes up to the podium and says something about the PCPD needing some help catching criminals so they called in the WSB and in stroll in Tristan Rogers and John Reilly dressed in black (they joked its Men In Black 3). They received a standing ovation and thunderous applause and were obviously touched with the receptionand that fans remembered and still loved them all these years later. It was the HIT of the weekend! They spoke for a few minutes, I could have listened to them for hours! Wouldn't it be fun if they did an individual event!
     Everyone posed on stage for a cast photo, then I have shots of poses with Tristan & John Reily together, and with Maurice, and I think Steve was also in the group. I didn't take pictures, just video of them posing for pictures.
     I also have interviews during the luncheon with Wally, John J. York, Robin Chrisopher (with her award, both her and Nancy said this was better than the Emmy), Denise Alexander, Cynthia Preston and George (her web master) with their respective awards. I also interview Cari Shayne in the press room of the PC dinner and will add that to this tape as well as it was nice to see her. I have shots of several of the actors with fans like Maurice, Nancy, Tamara, Scott Egan, Alicia, Chad, Greg, Steve, Rick, Ted, Natalia, Stuart & Leslie, Andrea, and others.
GH Luncheon 2004 - 1 1/2 hours - This event starts off with some Friday morning poolside shots with fans and their soap boutique purchases. Interview with Vicky of Journey Online. The edit continues with Saturday morning footage before the luncheon with shots of fans as they are lined up waiting to check in, I love all of the fans creative shirts and buttons. Then I showed all of the goodies on the various fan club tables, tons of pictures, and raffle items shown from the main GH fan club tables, Kurth & Taylor's new preview CD, Vanessa's table, Tyler's, interview with his fan club president Shari Evans, Lisa of JJY Online and his table, Sheri McCutheon who does Stephen Nichol's official site and his table, Leslie's Charleson's table and an interview about their online action (:24 mins to this time). TNext is the press room footage, the actors arrive in the press room, pose for pictures, interview with various magazines, web sites, before being brought out to the ballroom. I interviewed Tiffany an intern at GH, interview with the Eye On Soaps web site ladies (what a great group!), shots of various actors posing for pictures: Alicia & ron Hale, Ted King, John York & Lindze & Robyn (cute moment when one of the twins who plays Kristina runs up to John and holds out her arms for him to pick her up, shots of all the teens together (Lindze, Adrieene, Ryan, Katie, Robyn), cute moment as Tamara arrives with Starbucks for Alicia who gives her a big thank you hug! (Note: I used a smaller second camera to get the arrivals so I could leave the main camera stationery, good thing as the tape jammed in the main camera so I had the second camera handy to get Leslie's tribute to Anna Lee so this first section is a bit jumpy as I was changing tapes in the main camera, you will notice when it switches back to the main camera amazing the difference a tripod makes!). This year's event was dedicated to Anna Lee's memory. Leslie read the plaque: In Loving Memory of our dear Anna Lee, who brought charm, grace and dignity to everything she touched,will be deeply missed by her friends, her family and her fans. She was a joy and a delight, finding humor in the smallest of things, and finding strength

     Tamara reads a note from Jackie who was in Africa for the Gabriel Project accompanying a child back to the US for treatment, cute moment as the twins started laughing so Tamara gave one of the girl's the microphone and had a hard time getting it back! Cyndi and Tamara picked up the girls and took them up with them to the podium. Greg talks a bit about the Gabriel Project which brings sick children to the US for medical treatment. The actors then pose on stage for a group photo (1 hr 20 minutes to this point). There was not a Q&A this year. Adrian (Cruz), Ignacio, John J. York, Rick Hearst, Dirk Cheetwood. This was a very casual cocktail party so there was no Q&A and only one brief interview. I interviewed Adrian (though was rather loud in there so his interview is audible but its hard to hear my questions), and shots of Adrian, John, Iganacio, and Dirk with fans and a bit of Rick with fans. Greg stops by, Lindze stop by but there isn't much footage on them. Ignacios' band, "3 1/2 Feet Under" play. Cynthia Preston stops by, and there are shots of her and Rick slow dancing, cute moment. Jason & Kimberly stop by, Kimberly says a few words as does Jason, inviting fans to their event on Saturday night.
GH Luncheon -1 hr 47 mins
In the press room I interviewed (about 22 minutes): John Ingle, Stuart Damon, Lindze Leatherman, Julie Berman, Scott Clifton, John J. Back in the main ballroom the actors are introduced: John Ingle does the introductions, Adrian Alvarez, Denise Alexander, Julie Berman, Maurice, Steve, Dylan Cash, Dirk & Drew Cheetwood, Tyler Christopher, Scott, Stuart, Sonya, Rick Hearst, Kent Masters King, Becky, Ted, Lindze, Natalia, Kimberly, Ignacio, Jason, Connie, Greg Vaughn, Bergen, Laura, and John J.
John York goes out with a roving mic to the fans for the Q&A portion of the event with questions fielded to the following actors: Steve, Kimb, Maurice, Stuart, Jason, Julie, Connie, Scott, Jackie, Laura, Jill Farren Phelps.
