July 2, 1996  With Commercials - Lucy is worried about Kevin after watching his twins study tape recording. Simone and Keisha discuss their shock about Justus resigning. Keisha suggests that Simone go to the Q’s and talk with him. Justice tells Edward that he is going to recommend AJ for his City Council seat. Edward and Ned have doubts but Justus goes to bat for AJ. Ruby introduces Gina to Keisha and they discuss her working for Kevin. AJ and Keisha discuss whether he really wants the city council job. Lois talks to Dara about joining L&B but she declines. Lois is not about to give up that easily. Ned tells Edward that he is going to cancel his Idle Rich tour that Lois has planned but Edward insists he go. Ned is suspicious of Edward pushing him out the door. Ned tells Lois he is canceling. Kevin remembers a creepy flashback. Justice and Simone discuss their relationship. He decides to end things for good.

July 3, 1996  No credits, with commercials - Robin pays Kevin a visit to tell him that she wants to minor in grief counseling. Mac questions Sonny about the rumor that some outsider is planning to move in on Sonny's business. Brenda tells Jax that she has decided to sign with Jax Cosmetics. Luke tells Lulu a fairy tale. Laura makes a mysterious international phone call, and is surprised when the number is disconnected. Jason delivers  Sonny a letter from a Kansas City Group who want to take over one of his transportation networks. Robin learns that Gina is working for Kevin. Robin brings Gina to tears over her past her nonsupport of Stone. Kevin explains that if Robin is serious about being a counselor, she needs to be more forgiving about the way people handle grief. Over burgers and beer, Mac tells Kevin the latest on Felicia's stalker. Katherine gets the news that Brenda is signing with the competition. Robin pushes Katherine to move on and hire another model. Sonny is angry when Jason pulls a gun at the meeting. Harry is behind the K.C. group takeover. A mystery man is on the phone, discussing Laura's attempt at contact.

July 4, 1996  With Commercials - Luke and Bobbie discuss the leads on her daughter. Luke calls Sonny to ask for help in finding the PI Bobbie used, Felix Peyzer. The Mystery Man gets an update on Lulu. Lucky visits Lulu while Laura keeps trying her international phone call. The Mystery Man plans a visit to PC. Mac invites a depressed Felicia to join him in the park for the 4th. Robin almost catches Carly with Jason in his room. Tom is back from San Francisco. 4th of July celebration gets underway in the park. Carly quizzes Robin about her boyfriend. Lucy makes an effort to get along with Katherine. Keisha and AJ discuss the City Council job. Jason shows up at the park to be with Robin. Carly flirts with Brian. Jason warns Carly to stay away from Robin. Ending fireworks montage with AJ and Keisha, Tom and Felicia, Mac and Katherine, Kevin and Lucy. Jason and Robin watch from the bridge.

July 7, 1996  With Commercials - Felicia tells Tom about her weird lack of mail. Tom finds her missing mail. Felicia gets an envelope with photos of herself and all the men in her life. Luke finds out that Sonny’s men have found Peyzer. Carly sees her Nurse’s program test score and is dumbfounded that she didn't get a perfect score as she cheated. With the news that Peyzer is in town, Luke wants Bobbie to tell Tony the truth about her daughter. Alan and Dorman talk about his hand surgery. Alan insists Dorman not tell anyone about his plans. Luke and Sonny questions Peyzer and gets the adopted parent’s address out of him. Luke tells Bobbie he's going to go check out the adoptive parents in Florida. Carly is worried when she sees Peyzer at GH. Laura gets a call from the mystery man on the plane. He wants a meeting on Spoon Island tonight. After Dorman asks Monica if she convinced Alan to seek surgery, she is angry that he breached doctor/patient confidentiality. Felicia phones her grandmother and asks her keep her girls for a while longer. Carly tries to call Peyzer. Tony catches Carly in a lie about her mother. Luke arrives at Carly's mother's door. Laura arrives on Spoon Island.

July 8, 1996  No Commercials - Carly covers with Tony. Luke asks Virginia Benson about her daughter and tells her about Lulu. She admits to him that she does not know where Caroline is. He gets the last address that Virginia has for her. Laura sees Stephen for the first time. Laura asks if Helena sent him. Stephen assures her is not being controlled by his mother. Laura asks if her son is with him. She wants him to be tested, but Stephen is evasive. Peyzer is back at GH to talk with Carly. Carly learns that Luke went to talk with her mother. Peyzer tries to blackmails Carly. Tony remembers Bobbie’s birthday. Carly and Tony plan a party for her. Luke reports back that he has some leads on Bobbie’s daughter.

July 9, 1996  No Commercials - Lois and Ned talk about his tour and trying to sign Dara. Lois goes to work on Dara again. Edward calls the Qs together to announce that AJ will be the new city council member. Ned is angry that Edward bought the seat for AJ. Felicia and Mac go to the park trying to recreate how and where the pictures she was sent were taken. Tom is not happy when he finds out that Kevin, Monica, and Dorman have all been chosen fort he hospital HMO committee and he was not. Felicia gets a message from her stalker. AJ gives his speech but it not the one that Edward wrote for him. Ned tells Lois about AJ and discuss Edward’s motives for pushing Ned out the ELQ. Keisha and AJ discuss his speech and their future. Mac gets a call that Felicia’s mail is going to a PO box but they don’t know whose. Dara and Justus make dinner plans. Kevin mentions to Mac that it is strange all the pictures of Felicia do not contain Tom.

July 10, 1996  With Commercials - Felicia has a new lock put in on her apt. Tom urges her not to go into hiding. They go to the park but Felicia can’t shake the feeling of being watched. Changing the subject, Tom tells Felicia that he is thinking of leaving GH. Sonny fills Jason in on his plan to trap the leak in his organization. Sonny asks Brenda if she is happy with Jax. Brenda has a photo-shoot for Jax cosmetics. Gina and Robin meet again in Kevin’s psychology class. Both Gina and Robin are thinking about Stone as Kevin talks about survivor’s guilt. Kevin goes on to discuss the situation between Gina and Stone, without using any names. He refers to Gina as shallow, superficial, and judgmental. Kevin appears to have gone off the deep end, but then comes back to reality and ends class. Gina is devastated and thinks Kevin purposely went after her. Jason overhears Sonny’s enemies plan for him. The plan goes south and shots are fired. Robin asks Kevin about his behavior in class, but he has no memory of it. Mac tells Felicia that they traced the PO box to Tom.

July 11, 1996  With Commercials - Laura tells Luke that they have donor for Lulu. Bobbie thinks the donor is her daughter. Luke fills Bobbie in on Caroline being raised by a single mother, named Virginia. Lois tells Ned about booking the Idle Rich to play in Boston. Ned can’t shake the feeling that Edward is up to something. Edward wants Justus to look into a deal Ned closed in Singapore for ELQ. Edward takes delight in Justus fixing the problem that Ned overlooked. Lila is angry at Edward for pitting grandson against grandson. She also warns him that she doesn't think Justus will be any easier to control, and someone will get hurt. Justus has his dinner date with Dara, and tells her he's quitting trial law. Justus pushes her to take Lois’s offer of a record contract. Dara tells Lois that she has decided to give singing a shot. Ned cancels his gig out of town. Felicia accidentally clocks Tom as he is lurking outside her apt. A scared Felicia decides to go to Texas. In Switzerland, Stephen pays a recovering Nikolas a visit.

July 12-17, 1996: 7/12, 7/15 Nik's first scene, Tom finds Steve dead,7/16 Everyone learns of Steve's death, 7/17
July 12, 1996 With Commercials - Lesley Lu undergoes the bone marrow transplant. Jax is concerned when he sees Brenda taking painkillers for the pain in her hip. She explains that it is pain from her prior car accident. Monica confronts Alan about him not telling her about his upcoming hand surgery. Alan suggests a separation and leaves the mansion. Later, Monica and Dorman meet for a drink at the PC Hotel. He gets a room for them. Laura tries to deflect Bobbie wanting to finding her daughter who, she is convinced is the donor. Luke and Bobbie discuss his search for her daughter with Carly listening. Carly later admits to eavesdropping and Bobbie does not want Carly to mention anything about her daughter to anyone, especially Tony. Sonny phones Robin looking for Jason. Brenda has a dizzy spell at Kellys. Sonny helps her; Jax sees them together. Sonny helps Brenda into a chair and explains to Jax that Brenda almost fainted. Alan and Bobbie run a check on Lulu’s donor and find out that all information is being kept confidential. Laura questions what Stephen wants for saving Lulu. Brenda reassures Jax that her condition is due to an empty stomach and the painkillers.

July 15, 1996  With Commercials - Jason contacts Sonny with the KC men on his trail. Jason uses Carly’s apt to hide. Ned tells Edward his tour is canceled. Lois and Brenda announce that L&B is suing Eddie Maine for breach of contract. Alan, Tony & Tom meet to discuss the HMO committee. Tom lets them know that he and Steve had another argument the night before, and there is no way that Steve will compromise. Tom tells them that he is quitting, and they try to get him to reconsider. Monica and Dorman in bed together. She apologizes for not telling him about her mastectomy. Alan sees Monica in the hotel lobby. They argue. Lulu continues to improve. Bobbie wants to find her daughter, the donor. Laura thinks Bobbie should just drop it. Luke pushes Bobbie to tell Tony the truth. Lois and Ned have dinner with Jax & Brenda. Ned and Jax talk business. Jax offers Ned a job. Lois asks if Ned and Jax bonded, and he explains why they can't go do the tour. Tony goes to the hospital and tries to talk Tom out of quitting. Tom refuses to listen and goes to Steve's office, and finds him slumped in his chair. KC men catch Jason. Sonny sets them up telling them the deal if off. Lucky finds Nikolas with Lesley Lu in her room. (Note: First appearance of Tyler Christopher as Nikolas)

July 16, 1996 With Commercials - Tom is stunned by Steve’s death. Simone learns. Luke suspects Laura is hiding something. She tells him the truth about Nikolas and Starvos. He is angry that she lied. Laura explains how Helena had her mother killed. She had no choice but to lie as she was afraid they would go after him next. Lucky questions Nikolas and he claims he is Lulu’s brother. Lucky does not believe him. Audrey and the GH staff learn that Steve has passed away. Alan calls and tells Lila and Edward. Tom tells Audrey of the fight he and Steve had when he told him he was resigning from GH. Later, Audrey breaks down with Monica. Lucky goes to Laura wanting the truth.

July 17, 1996 No Commercials - Tony tells Kevin about Steve’s passing away. Nikolas spends time with Lulu. Luke and Laura learn that Nikolas has been to see Lulu at GH. Laura has to come clean with Lucky about her time on the island. Carly visits Jason. She wanted to celebrate getting into the nursing program, but with Steve’s death she has no one to celebrate with at GH. Audrey has a talk with Kevin about Steve. Lucy overhears and learns about Steve. Nikolas takes off before the Spencers arrive at GH. Lucky’s anger shows and Luke has to calm him down. Jason finds a sad Robin at the bridge. Tony gives Carly a gift for her getting into the nursing program. Nikolas breaks in and takes a look around the Spencer house.

July 18-23, 1996: 7/18 Steve Hardy's funeral, 7/19, 7/22, 7/23
July 18, 1996  No Commercials - Note: Episode starts abruptly during a flashback Audrey has of Steve. PC prepares for Steve Hardy’s funeral. Tony invites Carly to sit with the Jones at the service. Tom thanks Simone for helping at the chapel. Edward starts bellowing about ELQ and what they can do about GH. Lois is annoyed, but Ned convinces her that this is Edward's way of dealing. The Spencers head to GH for the service. Lucky is upset, thinking that Laura has been seeing Nikolas. Tom tells Audrey that he isn't going to speak at the service. He isn't sure if Steve died of a heart attack or a broken heart. Carly sees Jason and Robin together in the chapel. Laura spots Stefan. Alan, Tony, Edward, Amy, Monica and Laura speak at the memorial. Laura gets a note from Stephen to meet him. Audrey gets up to speak, but Tom stops her and speak. Episode ends with Steve flashbacks.

July 19, 1996  No Commercials - After the memorial, Audrey breaks down with Tom and Gail. Sonny visits LuLu at GH while Brenda watches. Bobbie tells Luke she's going to Switzerland to try to find out if the donor was her daughter, but he tells her not to bother. Luke tells Bobbie about Laura’s son. Laura meets Stefan at Lesley's grave and tells him she wants to see her son. He reminds her she made a pact with Helena never to see Nikolas. Luke wants security for Lulu. Brenda asks Sonny to go for a walk. Tom goes to Steve’s grave. Felicia comforts him. Brenda and Sonny chat and suddenly, there is a loud noise, they take cover, but it's only a car backfire. An angry Nikolas asks Stephen why he was never told that he had a sister. Stefan tells him Laura abandoned him to be with Luke and still won't want to see him. Nikolas doesn't want to leave PC, but Stephan orders him to go to the airport. Audrey gets overwhelmed having to take care of Steve’s affairs  Nikolas sees Laura for the first time.

July 22, 1996  With Commercials - Brenda tells Jax about her rocky relationship with Sonny. Brenda opens a present from London. A book of Shakespeare's Sonnets, which thrills Brenda till she finds out it's from Julia. Jax gets a mysterious phone call and tells the person not to call him there. Sonny’s accountant tells him that he is in trouble with the IRS. Jason is concerned. Sonny tells Jason that he will kill himself before he goes to prison. At GH, Laura sees Nikolas. Nikolas gives her the brush-off and gets on the elevator. Luke goes after him, but Nikolas gets away. Luke does not want Laura to see Nikolas again Stefan asks Nikolas about Laura. Stefan knows that Laura will not be able to stay away now, so he decides to remain in PC. Mac and Katherine disagree on Brian being a model for Deception. Brian agrees to think about it.

July 23, 1996  With Commercials - Keisha and AJ in bed together. Keisha didn't want the Q's to know she stayed over. Ned and Lois talk about her lawsuit. Ned is ready to pay her off, but Lois does not want his hush money. Edward plans a surprise Q board meeting. Justus warns Ned about Edward’s end run around him. Nikolas and Stefan look at Wyndamere. Nikolas doesn't like the place. Emily and Monica have a heart-to-heart talk. Dorman calls and Monica puts him off. Laura wakes a sleeping Luke wanting to talk, but they make love instead. Later, they argue. Lucky interrupts Laura before she can tell Luke about Stefan. Lucky tells Luke about how much he hates Nikolas. Luke leaves to confront Helena. Lucky won't tell Laura where Luke is headed. Ned thinks of a way to outsmart Edward.

July 24-29, 1996: 7/24, 7/25, 7/26 Tracy returns, 7/29
July 24, 1996 With Commercials - Monica contemplates ending things with Dorman. Brenda gets a gift of a “genie’s lamp” from Jax. Brenda wishes “for her day with her prince”. Sonny tells Robin that he has asked Jason to find a new job as the feds are coming after him. Ned makes a deal with Jason to beat Edward at his own game. He wants Jason to take control of his  ELQ shares in trust and vote with him at the board meeting. Tom tells Audrey that he has reconsidered his resignation until things are settled at GH. Sonny tells Mike that he feels like the feds coming down on him is what he deserves. Tom tells Felicia that he is afraid that Audrey thinks that he did not love Steve. Robin tries to talk Jason into quitting Sonny’s business before he is arrested, but Jason insists he’s found another way out. Monica is surprised that Alan is going ahead with his hand surgery as GH is in turmoil over losing Steve. Audrey and Felicia talk about Tom. Jason discuss his plan with Sonny to sell him his ELQ stock.

July 25, 1996  With Commercials - Felicia goes to Kevin at GH, worried about Tom. Kevin makes an out of character comment and Felicia tells him off. Kevin apologizes. Carly tells Tony about her money woos. Carly is jealous when she sees Robin and Jason together at GH. Robin is there to get her test results from Alan. Carly and Jason argue about Robin again. Jason is angry that she is jealous when they have an “arrangement”. Lucky worries that he and Laura have not heard from Luke since he went to pay a visit to Helena. Lucky lays into Laura again about Nikolas. Bobbie tells Tony that Carly is starting to get on her nerves. Carly is too clingy. Tony just thinks that Carly admires Bobbie. Tony and Bobbie plan an evening out. Felicia is surprised when Tom tells her that he has decided to stop working with the PCPD. Tom feels ambushed when Kevin arrives to talk with him too. Bobbie and Laura argue when Bobbie wants to know what is going on with the Cassadines. Lucky overhears them. Lulu is taken from her crib at GH. Luke finds a bedridden Helena, who is on respirator. He wants to know why she sent Nikolas. Luke learns about Helena’s other son Stefan. Carly schemes and ends up having dinner with Tony in Bobbie’s place. She plays him about how she does not have enough money to continue with the Nurses' Program. Tony talks her out of it posing for a “legitimate” photographer. Bobbie is annoyed when she sees them together.

July 26, 1996  No Commercials. Note: Episode starts abruptly.  Edward sets up a Q family dinner/board meeting. Ned and Justus discuss Edward's scheming. Lois and Ned discuss their plan. Edward proposes a new CEO for ELQ, he wants Ned out and Justus in. Jason arrives, accompanied by Sonny. Jason tells Ned that he sold his stock to Sonny. An angry Ned accuses him of taking advantage of Jason. The board is deadlocked. Tracy arrives. (Note: First scene of Jane Elliot for a limited run) Luke rails on Helena about Stefan being in PC with Nikolas. He demands to know where they are living in PC. Luke calls home and leaves a warning  message for Laura to implement "Plan B" Stefan redecorates Wyndamere. Luke arrives at Wyndamere and finds a huge portrait of Laura hanging on the wall. He and Stephen come face to face. Laura goes to GH and finds that Lulu is missing. Laura fears that the Cassadines have kidnapped her and freaks. Lucky tries to tell Laura that he moved Lulu to Ruby's place. Laura has to be sedated. Lucky is worried that she had a meltdown. Laura warns Lucky that the Cassadines are dangerous and says they must find Luke. Lulu is returned to GH and Tony insists that Laura spend the night. She awakens later to find Nikolas staring at her.

July 29, 1996  With Commercials - Tracy demands to know what the board is trying to do to her son. Tracy meets Lois. Nikolas and Laura talk. She insists that she has loved him from the minute he was born, but he has nothing but disdain for her for leaving. At Wyndamere, Stefan introduces himself to Luke. Luke warns him to stay away from Laura. Stefan insists he is not leaving PC. Luke reminds him that every Cassadine that has come up against him as ended up dead. Luke meets Nikolas. Edward blames Ned for opening the door to Sonny. Jax sides with Edward and Ned is ousted from ELQ. Lois and Justus talk about the pros and cons of the Qs. Lois wants to make sure Justus hangs onto his soul. Edward offers Sonny a buyout of his stock.  Alan and Monica try and talk to Jason about Sonny. Alan attacks Sonny. The Qs take a family photo. Luke returns to GH and Lucky explains why he took Lulu. Luke tells him that he put the Cassadines on notice. Luke checks on Laura.

July 30-August 2, 1996:  7/30, 7/31, 8/1, 8/2
7/30/96 With Commercials. Luke tells Laura about meeting Stephen and Nikolas. Luke demands to know why Laura failed to mention her meeting with Stefan, Laura gets hysterical. Stephen warns Nicholas that Luke despises him and to never let his guard down around him. Laura expresses hope that her firstborn can be redeemed. Later, Lucky tells Luke that he feels responsible for Laura’s condition. Edward berates Ned for handing over ELQ stock to the mob. Jason is back at the mansion and confronts Alan about going after Sonny.  Jason threatens to make Alan pay if he messes with Sonny again. Alan is badly shaken after the encounter. Alan and Monica sadly ponder how Sonny became more important to Jason than them. Tracy slaps Jax across the face for siding against Ned. Ned assures Lois is happy about being free from ELQ. Brenda questions Jax about why he voted against Ned. Jason and Robin check on Sonny. Tracy shows up at gatehouse determined to get Ned back into ELQ. (Note: ABC News brief interrupts the Ned scene - 2-3 minutes lost) “Disarm” ending montage. Tracy kisses Jax.

7/31/96 With Commercials. Felicia and Tom have dinner with Lucy and Kevin. Tracy apologies to Jax for slapping him but she did not want anyone to deduce that they are in cahoots to take over ELQ. Edward wants Katherine’s help for spin control now that a mobster is on the ELQ board. Mac is baffled as Felicia’s stalking has stopped even though she is now back in town. Robin tries to explain to Jason that Alan is just worried about him. Tom and Audrey reminisce about Steve. Tracy meets Katherine. Tracy tells Edward that she is back in PC to make sure Dillon is not cheated out of his inheritance. Believing he needs time for himself, Lucy pushes Kevin to take a vacation. Mac thinks that he now knows who is stalking Felicia. 

8/1/96 With Commercials. Mac apologizes to Katherine for being so busy with Felicia’s case. Mac wants Kevin to make up a character profile on the stalker. Kevin figures out that Mac is pegging Tom as a suspect. Felicia decorates for Bobbie’s surprise party. Bobbie is annoyed when Tony sings Carly’s praises. Jason tells Robin about the money, Sonny paid him for his ELQ stock. He was happy to give the stock to Sonny as he is grateful to him. Katherine shows Brian his Deception pictures. Kevin cancels on Lucy’s planned vacation for them as Mac needs him to help track down Felicia’s stalker. Felicia gets another package from her stalker. It's a tape recording of Felicia with her girls. Felicia plays the tape, she wants to help nail this guy. Bobbie is ticked when Tony gives Carly money for nursing school without consulting her. Mac bails on Bobbie’s party. Bobbie tells Tony the truth about Laura’s son. Mac calls a WSB friend to look up Tom's files from Africa and finds that it's been deleted. Bobbie is surprised by belated birthday party at the Brownstone.

8/2/96 With Commercials. Tracy, Lois and Ned have a family dinner at The Outback. Lois makes an effort to get along with Tracy. She tries to make conversation with Tracy about Eddie Maine, but Tracy just wants to discuss ELQ business. Luke asks Sonny if he knows anything about Stefan. Bobbie is overwhelmed by her surprise birthday party and runs out. Monica goes after her and gives her a peep talk. Brenda joins the Ashtons to talk L&B business with Lois. Bobbie resents Carly taking over her life. Bobbie encounters Stefan. Unaware of his identity, Bobbie chats  with him until Luke arrives and he and Stefan come to blows. Stefan says he has an urgent message for Alan. Stephan warns Alan that GH is in trouble as Mercy Hospital may move on it since the untimely death of Steve. Mac calls Felicia and tells her he thinks he knows who the stalker is, so she should lock her doors and not let anyone in until he gets there.  Stefan returns home to find Laura waiting.

8/5/96 With Commercials. Lucy is worried about Kevin taking on yet another project. Kevin insists he is fine. Bobbie argues with Luke about Stefan’s intentions. Stefan tells Laura of his scuffle with Luke. Laura warns him not to push Luke. Carly apologies to Bobbie. Mac finds Tom lurking outside Felicia’s apt. Felicia thinks Mac is absurd when he  tells her about his theory about Tom being her stalker. Tony tells Luke to tread lightly with Laura. Luke finds that Laura is missing from GH. Carly tries to return the money Tony gave her, but he insists she keep it. She thanks him with a kiss. Lucy overhears Mac and Kevin talking about Tom being the stalker. Laura admits to Luke that she went to see Stefan. 

8/6/96 With Commercials. Monica introduces Emily to Dorman. Emily dislikes him and begs Alan not to let Dorman operate on his hand. Lucy admits to Kevin that she overheard his conversation with Mac on the previous night. Certain he would never do her any harm, Felicia wants Tom for moral support. Tom wants details of her talk with Mac, however, Felicia does not reveal that he has become the number one suspect. Kevin asks Lucy not to say anything about Tom being a suspect in the stalking case. After enlisting Kevin's help in keeping an eye on Felicia, Mac pays Tom a visit. While the Idle Rich go through their sound check at the Outback Club, Tracy taunts Jax about Brenda’s obvious interest in Sonny. Jax assures Tracy that he's already made his move to neutralize Sonny. Lucy donates Kevin’s painting to The Outback's ambiance. Monica urges Alan to postpone his surgery.

8/7/96 With Commercials. Jax attempts to convince Sonny that he should sell his ELQ shares. Sonny turns him down flat. Kevin is livid when he learns that Lucy is showcasing his painting at The Outback. Doubt creeps in and Felicia rummages around Tom’s office. She eventually finds the folder with his notes about the stalker. Mac walks in on her putting the file back. She now thinks someone is trying to frame Tom. Robin convinces Sonny and Jason to attend Ned’s show. Tracy sees Ned perform for the first time as Eddie Maine. Ned and Lois announce that they are going on summer tour. Ned and Lois say goodbye to Robin, Jason and Sonny. Felicia arrives home to find her apartment trashed. Mac arrives and Felicia breaks down.

8/8/96 With Commercials. Kevin and Felicia discuss her stalker and how suspicious it is that Tom is now MIA. Mac and Kevin theorize with her about what would trigger Tom to stalk. Amy calls Carly out for her “wide eye innocent” act and Tony comes to Carly’s defense. Laura admits to Luke that she wants to get to know Nikolas. Luke thinks it that it is too late for her to play mommy. Lulu's birthday. Laura tells Justus about Nikolas. Felicia get a few strange phone calls from Tom. Lucky meets Gina. Carly offers to make dinner for Tony. Mac puts round the clock protection on Felicia’s apt. Nikolas shows up at the Spencers.

8/9/96 With Commercials. Carly cooks dinner for Tony at the brownstone. They dance together and share a kiss. Laura discovers Nikolas on the porch, with present for Lulu. Luke warns her not to be too friendly. Nikolas gives Lulu a Faberge egg. Luke and Lucky talk Nikolas. Laura realizes just how much Luke hates Nikolas. Alan visits Stefan at Wyndamere to discuss Mercy Hospital's proposed takeover of GH. Alan wants to know why Stefan cares if GH goes under. Alan tells Monica that he canceled his hand surgery. She is now not sure that urging him not to have the surgery was a good idea. Felicia shows Mac and Kevin the gun she now has for protection. Audrey arrives looking for the missing Tom. Kevin goes off on the fact that Tom may become physically violent with her, Felicia asks him to leave. 

8/12/96 With Commercials. Mac learns that Tom is back and at Felicia’s apt. Felicia pulls a gun on Tom. Kevin tells Lucy about the threats that Tom has made to Felicia. Tom explains where he has been and how there is no way he could be her stalker. Lucy is confused as to why Kevin left Felicia alone. Bobbie walks in on Tony and Carly dancing. Katherine and Robin talk about her leaving for school. Robin and Jason go swimming at the Q lake. She questions whether leaving for school is the right thing. Kevin and Mac arrive at Felicia’s. Tom accuses them of putting half-baked theories in Felicia’s head. Mac lays out the case against Tom. Another call comes in from “Tom” Felicia swears that is Mac’s proof of Tom’s innocence. Carly calls Tony and apologies for the kiss that happened between them. Carly waits for Jason in his room. Jason and Robin fall asleep at the Q boat house  

8/13/96 With Commercials. AJ and Keisha find Jason and Robin at the Q boat house. Keisha is glad that Robin and Jason are happy. They decide to get together before Robin goes to Yale. Jason tells AJ that he holds no grudge for the accident. AJ comes close to telling Keisha the truth about Jason’s accident. Mac is stressed over Felicia’s stalking and that Robin has been gone all night without calling. Katherine suggests that Mac and Robin spend time together before Robin leaves. Tom thinks Felicia should go to Texas until everything is sorted. Mac decides to talk to Felicia about Tom again. He calls Kevin for backup. Lucy is surprised Kevin doesn't believe Tom's innocence since he was there when the phone call came in. Kevin suspects that Tom could've set it up before hand. Robin returns home thinking she is going to be busted by Mac. Jason returns to find Carly waiting for him and asks her to leave. Jason wants to plan a trip with Robin before she leaves. Mac wants Felicia to press charges against Tom.

8/14/96 With Commercials. Luke and Laura bring Lulu to GH for a checkup. Laura questions Luke if Sonny knows about Nikolas. Jax convinces Brenda not to cancel an interview Lucy has set up for her. Luke asks Bobbie about Tony and Carly. Kevin learns that Felicia has gone out of town with Tom. Kevin is upset that Felicia has put herself in danger just to prove that she trusts Tom. Lucy defends Felicia’s decision. Bobbie busts Carly for being late. With GH getting deeper into financial trouble, Alan asks Sonny to let the hospital use his $30M gift for Stone’s memorial wing, but Sonny refuses. At his class, Kevin flips out on Gina. Tracy pays Jax a visit. She needles him about Brenda and Sonny again. Brenda sees Alan for a refill of her pain meds. Sonny finds an upset Gina in the park. Lucy finds an upset Kevin.

August 15-20, 1996:  8/15, 8/16, 8/19 Stone's birthday, Montauk begins, 8/20 (Soapnet Chasin Jason episode)
8/15/96 With Commercials. Laura calls Nikolas to tell him about Lulu’s positive test result. Stefan intervenes but Nikolas wants to see his sister. Brenda pops some painkillers before her interview. Gina makes it clear she does not want Sonny’s help. Nikolas meets Laura and Lulu in the park. Laura sees a side to Nikolas that she does not like. Sonny has flashbacks of Lily after he visits Luke’s Club. After having a bad dream, Brenda tells Jax that she is the reason that Lily is dead. Jax does not like Brenda beating herself up. Jason asks Sonny for some time off to take Robin on a trip. Mike suggests Montauk. Luke picks up on Bobbie’s growing disdain for Carly. Luke and Laura have nice dinner out at The Grill, that is until Stefan shows up. 

8/16/96 With Commercials. Luke gives Stefan the stink eye at The Grill. Stefan is there to have a drink with Alan to discuss GH business. Alan offers Stefan an investment opportunity to fend off Mercy’s takeover of GH. Sonny learns that the girl he tried to help in the park was Stone’s sister, Gina. Felicia and Tom are back in PC. They have dinner with Kevin and Lucy. Felicia is anxious to put things right with Kevin. Tom wants to work with Mac to find the real stalker. Monica ditches Dorman to have dinner with Alan. Alan arranges dinner for their anniversary, which Monica has forgotten. Without informing Sonny, Jason takes a run from one of Sonny’s other couriers. Stefan and Laura discuss Nikolas. After, Stefan tells her that he feels that Laura is ashamed of her son, Laura sets out to prove him wrong by telling Alan and Monica. Gina quits her TA job with Kevin. A dumbfounded Kevin has no memory of his outburst. Robin and Jason leave for Montauk. Lucy recalls all of Kevin’s outbursts.

8/19/96 No Commercials. (Note: Episode part of SoapNet’s “Chasin’ Jason” marathon). Jason and Robin arrive in Montauk. Robin remembers it is Stone’s birthday. Stefan tells Nikolas that he was surprised at Laura’s public honesty in claiming him of his son. Luke’s anger shows at Laura for telling all of PC about Nikolas. Luke thinks Stefan played Laura. Gina, Mike and  Sonny toast Stone’s memory. Alan and Monica’s dinner continues. Alan tells Monica about Steve over-extending GH. Alan has no choice not to cozy but to the Cassadines for  help. Jason and Robin go to bed. Sonny and Luke discuss the Cassadine mess. Luke overhears Stefan call to Laura wanting to meet.

8/20/96 No Commercials. (Note: Episode part of SoapNet’s “Chasin’ Jason” marathon). Robin and Jason in bed the morning after. Later, Robin and Jason hit the Montauk beach. Mac and Garcia discuss Felicia’s stalking. Garcia still thinks Tom could be guilty but Mac is now sure he is innocent. Lucy is starting to doubt Kevin is not the stalker.She prods him a bit with the facts of the case and how she believes Tom is innocent. Lucy reads up on memory loss and lost time. She vows to find out the truth. Tom listens to one of the tapes of his so called phone call to Felicia. He is trying to figure out how the recording was spliced together to frame him. Audrey asks for Tom’s help with Steve’s financial matters. Lucy tells Mac that she wants to be the psychic assigned to the stalker case. 

August 21-26, 1996:  8/21, 8/22, 8/23, 8/26
8/21/96 With Commercials. Jason takes Robin to dinner in Brooklyn. Later, he leaves to do an errand for Sonny. Jason is ambushed. A mysterious man approaches Robin at the restaurant. Mac is not too game to let Lucy help with stalker case. Kevin finds that Gina is now working at Kellys. Kevin arranges for her to TA with another professor but he wants to know what he said to offend her. Lucy goes to Felicia and offers her psychic abilities. Tom goes to Mac to listens to all of the tapes of the stalker phone calls. The phone calls have been traced back to GH. Tom and Felicia make love. Lucy gets some disturbing facts about Kevin from Gina.

8/22/96 With Commercials. Lois and Ned in Los Angeles on tour. Ned scores an extended gig there. They contemplate staying. Tracy does not like Justus taking over at ELQ. Alan points out that Justus is part of the family. Tracy and Justus go a few rounds. Edward and Justus discuss Damian’s murder. Nikolas is not happy when Stefan tells him that he is meeting Laura. Nikolas wants no part of the meeting. Laura tells Ruby about Nikolas. Luke breaks up the physical fight between Lucky and Nikolas. Stefan gives Laura some background on Nikolas. Bobbie is angry with Alan for thinking of putting GH in the Cassadine’s hands. Alan tells her about how much trouble the hospital is in. Luke comes to Alan with the same concerns. Courting the Cassadines is bad news.

8/23/96 With Commercials. Tracy arranges a meeting with Sonny. Ned and Lois arrive back in PC. Ned warns Tracy not to mess with Sonny. Mac is worried about Robin as she has not called. Luke and Stefan argue in Alan’s office. Stefan takes a look into the GH file computer. He takes an interest in room 666. Laura defends the Cassadines to Bobbie where GH is concerned. Stefan takes his meeting with Alan. Mac goes to Sonny concerned about Robin. Lila shuts down a Q fight. Stefan turns down Alan’s request to help GH. Mac serves GH with a warrant to look at the phone calls made there to Felicia. A hurt Jason is admitted into a Brooklyn hospital. Laura learns Lucky got into a fight with Nikolas. Bobbie finds Stefan snooping around GH. Luke breaks into Wyndamere.  

8/26/96 With Commercials. Alan accepts an invite from Lila to have dinner with the family. Alan and Tracy squabble. Edward turns down Alan’s request for ELQ to help GH out financially. Luke plants a bug at Wyndamere. Stefan visits the GH room where his brother died. Carly tells Tony that she feels awful about their kiss. She says she understands if he wants to keep their distance Tony does not want to give up their friendship. (Note: short video drop out during the Tony scene) Tracy and Lois get into it. Luke assures Laura that if he didn’t stop the fight between Nikolas and Lucky that Lucky would have been seriously hurt. Ned and Lois decide to wait to tell the Qs they are moving. Alan gets word that Jason is in the ER in a Brooklyn hospital. Dorman turns off Monica’s pager. Stefan finds Luke’s bug and plans to use it to his advantage.  

August 27-30, 1996:  8/27, 8/28, 8/29, 8/30
8/27/96 With Commercials. Felicia misses her daughters but fears bringing the girls back. Kevin tells Lucy that his recurring dream has returned. Kevin is out of it and tells her he is ill. Later, when Felicia and Tom drop by the lighthouse, Lucy hustles them out. Katherine tells Mac that she got a strange message from Robin on her machine. Sonny learns that one of his men had Jason fill in for him on an errand in Brooklyn. Alan arrives at the Brooklyn hospital and finds Jason in restraints. He tells him that Robin is missing. Robin refuses to cooperate with the Brooklyn police as they press her about Jason’s activities. Tracy demands to be included in Edward and Justus’s ELQ business. Mac asks Justus to fly to NYC with him and help Robin. Alan finally gets hold of Monica and tells her about Jason being mugged. Lois breaks the LA news to Brenda. Justus gets Robin released. Sonny arrives in Brooklyn. Alan arranges for Jason to be transferred to GH. Lois loses her temper with Tracy.

8/28/96 With Commercials. Lucy continuing her quest for evidence of Kevin's innocence. She visits Tom.  She explains her role as psychic investigator in the stalker case. Tom advises her to stay out of it. She asks Tom for a psychological profile of the stalker. She describes Kevin's dream to him. Carly tells Tony that she overheard Luke tell Bobbie that he does not trust her. Tony asks Luke if he has something against Carly. Stefan donates money to the Charles Street Foundation on the condition that he remain anonymous. Lucy performs a few tests on Kevin. Bobbie tells Laura that she is thinking that she and Tony should adopt a baby. Tony overhears Bobbie scolds Carly when she makes a mistake at GH. Luke finds out that Stefan has made a huge donation to the foundation. Tom links his patients tapes to the stalker phone calls.     

8/29/96 With Commercials. Mac has Robin checked out at GH. Monica apologies to Alan for having to handle Jason’s beating on his own. Tom shows Felicia the tapes. Tom thinks now is the time for her to go to Texas. Kevin finds a modem and tape recorder in his desk drawer. Lucy digs into Kevin’s movements over the last month. Monica rips into Dorman for turning off her pager, thus making her miss the call about Jason being hurt. Tony checks out Jason. Jason and Robin are reunited. Kevin contemplates going to Mac and telling him he needs help as things are happening that he can’t explain. Mac arranges to move on Kevin but wants to keep it quiet. Mac arranges for a police escort to take Felicia to the airport. Alan and Sonny get into it outside Jason’s room. Tom searches Kevin’s office and finds recording equipment. Lucy finds him. 

8/30/96 With Commercials. Tracy is ticked when Ned and Lois tell the Qs they will be moving to LA. Alan tries to not let Sonny see Jason at GH, but Robin intervenes. Lucy finds Tom searching Kevin's office. He shows her the equipment. Lucy tries to deny Kevin's guilt until they find more incriminating evidence in Kevin’s computer. Felicia calls Kevin and tells him she is going to Texas. Kevin has another dream. Sonny and Robin visit with Jason. Jason reveals it was Sonny's own guys who beat him up because he wasn’t the runner they expected. Kevin's PC dials Felicia's phone and plays another tape. This time it is Mac telling Felicia that Garcia is after her. Ned and Edward discuss a possible take over attempt by Jax. Edward wants Ned to try to determine if Jax is really up to something. Tom tells Mac about Kevin and an APB is issued. Felicia, confused by the call from “Mac”, takes out Garcia just as Kevin arrives. Tracy tells Jax that with Ned leaving, ELQ will be ripe for a take over. Ned arrives to see Jax. Alan and Sonny exchange insults outside Jason’s room before Brenda hustles Sonny off. Mac,Tom, and Lucy find Felicia gone. Kevin has Felicia.

September 2-5, 1996:  9/2, 9/3, 9/4, 9/5
9/2/96 With Commercials. Brenda and Sonny talk about Lily and her feelings of guilt. Garcia comes to. Ned pays Jax a visit. Tracy suspects that Ned knew that she just had a meeting with Jax. Lucy begs Mac to let her confront Kevin if he went to lighthouse. When they arrive no Kevin but Lucy finds his painting destroyed. Lucy insists Kevin is reaching out because he is in pain and he would never hurt Felicia. Tom fears it is too late. Lois admits to Edward that she will miss him. Edward gives her a gift for the baby. Kevin tells Felicia that he is taking her to the lake. After an outburst, Felicia starts to get scared. Lois and Tracy go another round after Tracy finds Edward’s gift. Kevin and Felicia arrive at the lake house on Jasmine Island.

9/3/96 With Commercials. Gina interrupts Sonny and Brenda’s talk. She give Sonny a photograph of Stone that she found. Lucy thinks Kevin’s painting is a map of where he could have taken Felicia. Ned throws Tracy out. Sonny invites Mike to dinner. Ned tells Lois that Tracy and Jax have teamed up. Lois wants to tell Brenda but Ned stops her. Lucy cracks the message Kevin left in his painting. Mac and the gang deduce that  Kevin may have taken Felicia to Jasmine Island. Kevin flips his wig and pulls a knife on Felicia. Ned tells Edward about Tracy and Jax’s alliance. Sonny and Mike have dinner. Edward questions Tracy about her “interests”. Tracy phones Jax. Mac, Kevin, and Lucy leave for Jasmine Island.

9/4/96 With Commercials. Jason and Robin wake up in his hospital room together. Tony checks out Jason and he is released. Luke asks Mike about the Greek account name on Stefan’s check. Carly gets the cold shoulder from Jason. Alan tells Robin about her new HIV treatment options. Laura calls Stefan wanting to see Nikolas. Bobbie calls Luke “out of control” when he rants and raves about Stefan. Bobbie explains that Stefan visited the room at GH where Stavros died. Luke thinks Stefan is painting himself as the “wounded” party. Laura finds Nikolas in the park. She takes him to her mother’s grave as proof that she loved him. Robin tells Jason the news that she may never get AIDS. 

9/5/96 With Commercials. Bobbie asks Tony how he feels about adopting a child. Tony thinks she's trying to replace BJ. Tony does not want to open himself up to that kind of pain again.  Mike tells Luke that the Greek writing on the check is "Timor" or "atonement”. Nikolas is confused why Laura took him to Lesley’s grave. He wants to know what that has to do with him She tells him that Lesley was murdered by the Cassadines. He doesn't believe her, and she tells him to ask Stefan. Stefan makes a mysterious phone call about keeping someone “comfortable”. Katherine wants to throw Robin a going-away party at Luke’s Club. Robin tells Katherine her good news about her HIV. Finding Carly waiting for him again in his room, Jason tells her that he does not want to have sex with her anymore. They argue and she threatens to tell Robin. Nikolas confronts Stefan about what he learned from Laura and he admits the truth. He hates the Cassadines now too and bolts. Laura is angry when she finds Luke listening to his Wyndemere bug. He found her Cassadine medallion.

September 6-11, 1996:  9/6, 9/9, 9/10, 9/11
9/6/96 With Commercials. At Luke's, Katherine arranges Robin's going away party. Lois and Ned plan dinner with Jax and Brenda. Lois tells Ned how difficult it is to keep the secret from Brenda about Jax and Tracy being in cahoots. Tracy gives Ned and Lois a baby gift, which does not sit well with Lois. Brenda and Jax arrive and Ned tosses Tracy out. They all go to Robin’s party together. Ned is called away to NYC on ELQ business. Luke taunts Laura with the medallion. She wants to know why he didn't tell her he had bugged Wyndamere and is now eavesdropping on Stefan. He claims it is because he does not trust her anymore. Stefan has turned Laura's loyalties away from him and Lucky. They argue. They hear on the bug's receiver that Nikolas is missing. Robin wants Sonny to promise that he will try and move on with his life. Stefan arrives at Luke's asking to see Laura. On Jasmine Island, Mac and his men planted a bug on the outside of a window in order to hear what's happening between Felicia and Kevin. Tom and Lucy argue about what to do and Mac orders that Lucy be removed from the scene. Lucy breaks free and runs to the house to save Kevin.

9/9/96 With Commercials. Robin going away party continues at Luke’s. A confused Kevin does not recognize Lucy. Lucy gets inside the house. The Spencers and Stefan get into it about whose fault it is that Nikolas ran away. Carly shows up at Robin’s party. Jason warns her not to ruin the party. He is going to tell Robin the truth so her threats are meaningless. Insisting she can handle Kevin, Lucy distracts him and Felicia escapes. Lucy tries to talk Kevin down. Luke decides to help Laura search for Nikolas. Robin and Sonny say goodbye. Robin is relieved when Felicia arrives.   

9/10/96 With Commercials. Robin and Jason visit the boxcar one more time. Jason admits he has been sleeping with Carly. Kevin begins to really loss it. Tom wants Mac to wait things out and see if Lucy can reach him. Laura regrets telling Nikolas the truth. Luke and Laura tell Lucky that Nikolas has taken off. Katherine waits with Felicia for news on what is happening at the standoff. Lucy gets the truth from Kevin about his abusive childhood. Believing that Stefan is exploitive Laura’s guilt, Luke agrees to find the missing Nikolas. Mac calls Felicia with the news that the standoff is over. Felicia has flashbacks of Ryan. 

9/11/96 With Commercials. Ned calls Lois with the news that he is coming home from NYC today. Gloria arrives at the gatehouse to help Lois pack. Lois tells Gloria about Jax and Tracy’s takeover attempt. Ryan flashbacks continue to haunt Felicia. Kevin is under observation at GH. Tom explains to Felicia about what made Kevin snap. Jax and Brenda make love. Tracy meets Gloria. Ned arrives home from NYC. Mac tells Felicia that he does not want to have to press charges against Kevin. Tom checks in on Kevin. Ned has a meeting with Edward and Justus. Ned tell them that Jax has mounted a powerful campaign against ELQ. Tracy and Jax meet and Brenda overhears them talking about their plans. 

September 12-17, 1996:  9/12 Robin leaves for Yale, 9/13, 9/16, 9/17
9/12/96  With Commercials. Ned packs. Ned denies it when Lois thinks he really doesn’t wants to move. Brenda walks in on Tracy and Jax plotting. Tracy panics. Jax says the ball's already in play, and it's too late for Ned to do anything about it. Brenda eavesdrops and goes to see Ned and Lois and tells them about the meeting. Lois and Gloria talk. Lois is worried that the Qs will self-destruct if they lose ELQ. Lois tells Ned they should stay till he bests his mother and secures ELQ. Luke asks Sonny if his men have found Nikolas. Later, Sonny gets a call that Nikolas was spotted near the river. Robin says goodbye to Mac before leaving for Yale. Mac and Robin flashbacks. Jason picks Robin up and they leave. Katherine suggests a vacation to a sad Mac but he puts her off. Stefan arrives at the Scorpio’s wanting to know to know about search for Nikolas. Luke finds Nikolas in the the catacombs. He strongly suggests Nikolas leave PC. Jason and Robin say goodbye at Yale. 

9/13/96 With Commercials. Jax admits to Brenda that he intends to take over ELQ. Jax tries to explain life in the big game to Brenda. Lois convinces Ned that he needs to stay and defeat Jax and Tracy, and then they can go to LA. Laura tries to talk to Lucky, but he is still bitter. Stefan interrupts them. Laura begs Stefan to leave before Luke returns home. Lucky accuses her of caring more about Nikolas. Nikolas and Luke talk in the catacombs. Luke explains the facts of Cassidine life to Nikolas. He plants the seeds of rebellion. Bobbie notices a discrepancy between Carly class work and her entrance exam results. Tony jumps to Carly’s defense. Carly argues with the PI Pyzer. He says due to Luke and Sonny his business is gone, he wants money from her to leave town. He threatens to expose her. Ned offers help to Edward. They need to stop Tracy first. Lois overhears them talking about Tracy’s hit and run. Laura meets a very distraught Stefan in the park. Monica gives Dorman the brush off and tells him that she'll be at a convention for a couple of weeks. Nikolas decides to leave town, he goes to say goodbye to Lulu. Lucky finds him in Lulu’s room. Tony gets a call from Carly who wants to see him. Tony surprises her by showing up at her door. She tries to tell him the truth, but he misunderstands and thinks it's about the kiss they shared. Lucky and Nikolas get into heated argument. Just as Luke and Laura return, Nikolas takes a tumble down the stairs.

9/16/96 With Commercials. Luke and Laura walk in the house to find Nicholas at the bottom of the stairs and Lucky at the top. Stefan arrives right behind them. Nikolas is rushed to the hospital unconscious. Lucky is worried that Nikolas will die. Carly and Tony  Carly share another kiss. Tony gets called into GH. Felicia goes to see Kevin at GH. Felicia can’t forget the memories of being terrified and wants Kevin to pay for what he did. She tells Mac and Tom that she wants to press charges against Kevin. Alan and Monica remember that it's Jason's birthday and bring gifts to Jake's. They share a dance. Jason goes to see Carly and tells her that he told Robin the truth about them. Carly asks Jason if he ever loved or even liked her. They ponder why they slept together when both of them knew it was wrong. Kevin wants Lucy to recognizes that he really needs help and probably will need to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital and receive treatment for a long time. He wants her to consider staying away from him. She asks him to marry her. Stefan and the Spencers await news on Nikolas. 

9/17/96 With Commercials. Brenda shows Jax her latest modeling photos. Lois asks Ned about Tracy’s hit and run. Kevin turns down Lucy’s proposal, but Lucy is not taking no for an answer. Tony informs Stefan and Laura that Nikolas did not break his neck. Stefan flips out when Tony mentions there could be paralyzed. Felicia wants both Tom and Mac as witnesses of Kevin’s stalking. Mac tries to convince her not to press charges. Later, Felicia busts into Kevin’s house to take a look around. She sees Kevin’s eery painting. Felicia shows the painting to Dara in order to prepare her case. Dara agrees to take the case. Luke tells Sonny abut his chat with Nikolas in the catacombs. Laura makes sure that Lucky knows that she does not blame him. Ned tries to stop AJ from playing right into Tracy’s hands. Nikolas is in and out of consciousness. Mac tells Kevin to get a lawyer. Laura tells Luke that she knows that whatever Nikolas’s reason was for breaking in to their house, she knows that he was looking for trouble. Ned delivers a threat to Jax. Lois sets a trap for Tracy.   

September 18-23, 1996:  9/18, 9/19, 9/20, 9/23
9/18/96 With Commercials. Bobbie reminds Stefan that Nikolas was trespassing at the Spencers. Mac tells Kevin and Lucy that he believes Felicia will press charges against Kevin. Mac doesn't believer he can stop her. Dara wants a warrant for Kevin’s arrest. Ned and Jax face off. Lois gets Tracy’s confession of the cover up of her past hit and run on tape. Things get heated and Lois gets a crap in her stomach. Gloria rushes her to GH. Nikolas wakes up. Audrey confronts Carly about her now shotty performance at GH. Carly asks Pyzer for more time to get his money. Edward wants Ned in NYC asap. Edward admits he miscalculated and offers Ned a three year contract back as CEO of ELQ. Kevin as a session with Gail, but he thinks it is a waste of time. Lucy goes to talk with Felicia to try and persuade her to not go after Kevin, but Felicia is not budging. Tony blows off an evening with Bobbie. Mac arrests Kevin. 

9/19/96 With Commercials. Pyzer is back for his money from Carly. She gives him a down payment. Justus tells Sonny of ELQ’s trouble. Lois is upset at herself for getting so upset at Tracy. Brenda arrives at GH to be with Lois. Ned turns down Edward’s offer of a three year contract at ELQ. Ned gets word about Lois being at GH. After Carly is caught leaving the hospital during her shift, Bobbie and Tony go another round over Carly’s crap performance. Carly overhears Bobbie and Tony arguing about her past with both Damian and Alan. Ned arrives at GH. Lois is diagnosed with false contractions and released. Carly confesses to Tony that she withdrew the money he gave her for school but she can’t tell him why. Tony and Carly make love. Ned explains the proposed 3-year contract with ELQ to Lois. Bobbie wants Luke to tell her where she can find Virginia Benson. 

9/20/96 With Commercials. Laura assures Lucky that Nikolas won't suffer any permanent damage from his fall down the stairs. Later, Laura and Luke argue about what happened between the boys. Luke delivers an ultimatum. She must choose between him/Lucky or Nikolas. Lois admits to Ned that although she did tell him to do what he must to protect ELQ, she now has regrets. She plays the tape of Tracy’s confession. For the sake of the baby, Lois wants to go back to Brooklyn. Sonny and Brenda talk about Jax and the takeover of ELQ. Sonny advises her to be loyal to Jax but not if it means losing her friends. Lily stood by him when she shouldn’t have. Stefan orders Bobbie to be followed. Nikolas flirts with Gina. Nikolas is angry at Stefan for lying to him. Sonny tells Jason about Jax's attempts to takeover ELQ; Sonny won't give up his seat on the ELQ board without a fight, especially if it means losing to Jax. 

9/23/96  With Commercials. Carly and Tony in bed together. Tony feels guilty when he thinks of Lucas. Carly wants to spend the day with him. Bobbie sees Virginia Benson. Brenda and Jax have it out about Tracy.  Brenda is upset because of Lois's close call and blames Jax for it. Jax explains that his family rose from nothing and they don't just give up. Brenda needs time to think. Nikolas angrily confronts Stefan about  “the truths” he learned from Luke. Stefan challenges him to get out of his hospital bed and come with him. Laura arrives at GH and finds Nikolas gone. She finds the letter that Nikolas wrote to Lulu. In the letter, Laura reads that Luke told Nikolas that he didn’t belong in PC or Lulu’s life. Later at home, Laura confronts Luke. Stefan takes Nikolas to the room at GH where Stavos died.  

September 24-27, 1996:  9/24 Lois leaves town, 9/25, 9/26 Alexis arrives, 9/27
9/24/96 With Commercials. Stefan reminds Nikolas that is concern is his safety, but Nikolas thinks he wants to keep him ignorant. Stefan explains why did what he did. Luke tells Laura that he does not regret what he tried to persuade Nikolas to leave. With no choice, she is  going to tell Nikolas that she can’t see him anymore. Lois tells Ned she is leaving tonight. Lois tells Brenda that she is leaving. Ned and Lois say goodbye. Brenda tells Jax about Ned and Lois breaking up. The trail of cause and effect leads back to Jax and he has to make it stop. He smoothes things over with her.  Carly and Tony hang out in the park. Laura arrives at GH to tell Nikolas goodbye. Bobbie is back in PC telling Luke that she saw Virginia. She wants Luke to find Caroline even more now. Episode ends with Ned and Lois flashbacks. 

9/25/96 With Commercials. Lucy tries to get Mac to have Kevin moved out of jail and into a hospital. Kevin is booked. Laura tries to explain to Nikolas why she can’t see him again. She has to do something to stop the anger and hatred between Nikolas and Lucky that caused him to be in the hospital. Luke reveals to Bobbie that he has made Laura cut Nikolas off. Lucy gets Kevin a lawyer, but quickly fires him. Kevin insists on pleading guilty. Carly and Tony establish some ground rules for their interaction at the hospital. Bobbie gets flowers from Stefan. Felicia tells Tom that she postponed bringing her kids home. Stefan wants the skinny on Virginia Benson.  

9/26/96 With Commercials. Tony and Bobbie argue about their past argument. Tony admits that he was not felt anything since BJ’s death, he is just going threw the motions. Before Kevin’s arraignment, Lucy goes to talk with Gail. She is approached by Alexis Davis, who wants to represent Kevin (Note: First appearance by Nancy Lee Grain as Alexis) Felicia is freaked when she gets a call from Kevin, who was trying to call Mac from jail. Felicia learns that Kevin is planning to plead guilty. Gail meets with Kevin. Carly drops out of the nursing program at GH. Bobbie and Stefan talk about Laura’s choice. Mac warns Felicia about what a trial will mean for everyone involved. Kevin meets Alexis but he insists he does not need her. Lucy reminds Kevin how much she loves him. She pleads with the Kevin inside to try and save himself. Tony and Bobbie learn Carly has quit. Carly tells Jason she is leaving town. But she soon realizes she can’t.   

9/27/96 With Commercials. At his arraignment, Kevin changes his mind and pleads not guilty. Ned accepts Edward’s contract and wants a ELQ board meeting tonight. Brenda looks over her upcoming promo tour itinerary. Sonny gives Ned his support. Ned says if Sonny really is serious about saving ELQ he should resign his seat on the board. Ned offers to swap Sonny's stock for a small ELQ subsidiary, a paper mill. Ned gets Sonny's proxy for the board meeting. Brenda says goodbye to Ned before her tour. Brenda tells Sonny about Lois leaving. Tracy meets with Jax to discuss their next move. Jax tells Tracy she is now on her own. Alexis tries to scores Kevin bail, but it is denied. Alexis phones Stefan.   

September 30 - October 3, 1996: 9/30, 10/1, 10/2, 10/3
9/30/96 With Commercials. Note: A news ticker runs at the bottom of the screen for a few scenes of this episode. Lucky feels that nothing will return to normal for the Spencers until the Cassadines leave town. Luke and Laura tell him that she will not be seeing Nikolas again. Nikolas is released from GH. Stefan considers Bobbie a “friend”. He invites Bobbie and Tony to Wyndamere for dinner. Sonny changes his mind about the ELQ board meeting and decides to go. Jax tells the Qs that he miscalculated and underestimated them. Sonny is not so forgiving. Bobbie tells Laura that Nikolas as been released from GH. Bobbie questions why Laura is cutting herself off from Nikolas. Cousin Alexis visits Stefan at Wyndamere. Stefan is banking that Kevin stay out of jail as part of his plan to bring GH to it’s knees. Tracy arrives at the board meeting. Ned plays the tape of her confession. Bobbie confronts Luke about his demand of Laura. Lucky gets a message from Stefan on his computer to play the game “Timoria”. 

10/1/96 With Commercials. The ELQ board meeting continues. The Qs learn that Lois has gone back to Brooklyn. Ned tells Edward that he intends to stay at ELQ for 6 months and then he is going to be with his wife. He orders Edward to Tracy banish again. Lucky learns more about “Timoria”. Luke tells Laura that Bobbie came down on him for making her choose. He wants to know how long she is going to hate him for. Tony meets with Carly. He tries to persuade her to come back to GH. Bobbie wonders where Tony snuck off to. Nikolas asks Stefan to remove the portrait of Laura at Wyndamere. Bobbie goes to Carly’s apt and leaves her a note. Luke suggests a vacation for his family. Tracy leaves the Q mansion. 

10/2/96 With Commercials. Note: A news ticker runs at the bottom of the screen for a few scenes of this episode. Lucy visits Kevin in jail. Kevin has a mini-break down in his cell. He begs her to get him help. Carly gets Bobbie’s notes and freaks out that she knows about her and Tony. Tony wants to take Carly to his family cabin where they can go and not worry about being seen. Monica is back from her conference. Dorman gets her to meet him at the hotel. (Note: Dr. Dorman is now recast with Tuc Watkins) Alexis asks Gina to testify at Kevin’s trial. Carly asks Audrey to be reinstated into the nurse’s program. Bobbie tells Carly that she will have to buckle down if she is to continue in the program. Stefan meets Gina and is happy that Nikolas is making friends. Alan tells Tony that he has rescheduled his hand surgery. Monica and Dorman meet at the hotel. Alexis tells Kevin that he is being transfer to a maximum security prison without therapy until the trial. Tony gives Carly a key to the cabin. 

10/3/96 With Commercials. Monica breaks it off with Dorman. He becomes enraged and insists it is not over till he says it is.  Mac gets word of Kevin’s transfer. Sonny notices how much Jason is missing Robin. Lila and Ned have a heart to heart about his heartbreak over Lois leaving. Lucy insists to Kevin that his friends will come through to make sure he is not denied psychiatric help. Mac visits Kevin in jail to make sure Kevin knows that he is in his corner. Monica learns about Alan’s surgery with Dorman and scrubs in to oversee. Sonny accepts Lucy’s offer to buy back his shares in Luke’s club. Tracy gets a visit from Ned at her sleazy hotel room.   

October 4-9, 1996: 10/4, 10/7, 10/8, 10/9 Stefan declares his love for Laura
10/4/96 With Commercials. Tony and Carly make plans to go to his cabin tonight. Kevin has another breakout in prison while Lucy visits. Gail arrives to have a session with Kevin. Mac tries again to talk to Felicia about the demons that Kevin is facing. Katherine overhears their conversation. Tracy and Ned’s talk at the sleazy motel continues. He lowers the boom on her. After Alan’s surgery, Monica tries to mend fences with Dorman. Monica insists Alan recover at the Q mansion. Dorman gives Alan pain pills. Stefan and Nikolas make plans to meet at The Outback. Stefan invites Bobbie to join them. Stefan has Tony followed. Tony and Carly arrive at the cabin. Carly places a call to a surprised Virginia. AJ rewrites an old speech Jason made against the toxic waste incinerator at The Outback. Keisha is ticked at AJ as she’s been waiting for him for the the past hour, and instead she finds him in a bar, surrounded by alcohol. She is also ticked that he blew off an AA meeting. Kevin is transferred. 

10/7/96 With Commercials. Brenda calls Jax from her tour. Now penniless, Tracy requests a meeting with Sonny. Stefan and Alexis have a meeting about their plans. Sonny tells Luke that the Cassadine “Timoria” bank account that he check out for Luke was indeed a phony. Tracy demands Jax pay up the money from their deal. She threatens him, to cut her a check, or she tells Brenda all about them. Tony heads back to PC after his tryst with Carly at the cabin. Bobbie visits BJ’s grave on her birthday. Later, Bobbie visits Luke. Luke agrees to look for Caroline. Tracy tries to negotiate a loan from Sonny but he is not about to deal after what she did to Lois. Brenda surprises Jax by coming home early. Stefan gets Laura to meet him in the park by telling her that he and Nikolas are going back to Greece. Tracy makes plans to leave for NYC. Sonny and confronts Jax over what he learned from Tracy. Things get physical. GH is closed down.

10/8/96 With Commercials. Brenda breaks up Sonny and Jax's fight. Later, Brenda and Jax get into it over Sonny. Lucy tells Luke that so many of Kevin’s patients are suing him that GH has had to close. Luke is suspicious when he learns just how Alexis came to be Kevin’s lawyer. Stefan and Laura recall their time in Greece. Alan explains to Tom and Bobbie about why GH has had to close. Alan fills Tom in on Steve’s spreading GH too thin. Tom warns the Qs not to lay the whole mess at his father’s feet.   

10/9/96 With Commercials. Carly and Tony in bed together at the cabin. Bobbie finds it strange that Tony has not checked in at GH. Luke accompanies Lucy to her meeting with Alexis. Luke grills Alexis. She reveals that it was a Stefan Cassadine that suggested she take Kevin’s case. Lucy fires Alexis. Stefan tells Laura that he still loves her. They talk about the day she found out Luke was alive. He only blamed her for leaving because that was what was expected of him. They say goodbye. Edward offers GH a short term loan, but Ned vetoes ELQ helping in any way. Not realizing that GH is closed, Tony using it as a cover with Bobbie so he can spend the night with Carly at the cabin. Alexis and Stefan meet in the park. Laura tells Luke that the Cassadines are leaving town tomorrow. The Spencers learn that GH is closed.  

October 10-15, 1996: 10/10, 10/11, 10/14 Bobbie finds Tony & Carly in bed together at the cabin, 10/15
10/10/96 With Commercials. Luke has some questions for Alan about why GH closed. He believes that Cassidine are behind masterminding the closing. Bobbie tells Felicia that she has no idea where Tony is. Mac gives Jason a letter from Robin. Dorman pays Alan a visits at home for a checkup. Alan and Monica learn that Dorman is now employed at Mercy. Tony returns home and learns GH is closed. Bobbie confronts him about where he has been. Nikolas is confused when he finds Stefan’s bags all packed. Stefan tells him that none of their plans have changed. Luke arrives at Wyndamere and questions Stefan about the timing of him leaving town and GH closing. Jason goes to see Alan. He wants to pay for Robin’s HIV medication if she decides to take it. He thanks Alan for treating Robin so well. Bobbie gets flowers from Stefan. Monica and Bobbie lament over GH closing. Felicia tells Mac that she is going to Texas to bring her girls back. Tony and Carly make plans to go back to the cabin. Luke sees Bobbie arrive on Spoon Island.    

10/11/96 With Commercials. After seeing GH empty for himself, Alan can’t help but feel responsible for it’s closing. Monica and AJ suggest he go to the Outback, where some the GH staff has gathered, to let them know he still cares. Tony and Carly arrive back at the cabin. Stefan gets word that Tony and Carly are at back at the cabin. Bobbie tells Luke that she's going to ask Stefan to save GH. Luke tells her not to play into the Cassadines hands. Luke learns that Virginia got another call from Caroline. He traces the call and learns that she called from PC. Stefan turns Bobbie down. Mac volunteers to go with Felicia to Texas as Tom can’t, Katherine is not pleased. Alan arrives at The Outback and is treated to the ire of the GH staff. Nikolas questions why Stefan turned Bobbie down as saving GH would isolate Luke and destroy him. Alan gets a call from Stefan who wants to talk about GH. Bobbie arrives home to an empty house. She takes a wrapped anniversary gift for Tony and wishes herself a happy anniversary. Luke arrives in Florida  and tells Virginia that Caroline called from PC. A dark figure punctures one of Tony's tires.

10/14/96 With Commercials. Jax and Brenda plan a second splashy wedding in PC.  Laura tells Bobbie that Luke went to Florida and there may be a lead on her daughter. Laura learns that Bobbie asks Stefan to bail out GH. Stefan makes sure Laura will meet him at GH. Stefan asks Nikolas to come with him to see how things play out with GH and Laura. Virginia finds a picture of Caroline in a yearbook, which she shows Luke... it's Carly. Tony finds his flat tires. He and Carly are stranded. Bobbie gets word from one of her “neighbors”, aka Stefan’s cook Mrs. Landsbury, that someone is using her cabin. Laura joins Nikolas and Stefan at GH to meet with Alan. Stefan says he is considering supporting GH but the funds are Nikolas's inheritance and they would need to stay in PC to oversee how the money is used. Stefan says that Laura needs to decide GH’s fate since she wanted them to leave. Bobbie finds Tony and Carly in bed together at the cabin.

10/15/96 With Commercials. Brenda tells Ned about her upcoming wedding. She asks Ned to give her away. Brenda agrees with Ned that he should be whatever it takes to get Sonny out of ELQ. The fate of GH rests in Laura’s hands. She agrees that Stefan should make the loan and stay in PC for as long as necessary. Stefan gets a seat on the GH board. GH’s doors are reopened. Tom is not happy. After finding them in bed together, Bobbie reams Tony and Carly. Luke hopes a flight back to PC. Jason learns that Sonny is still beating himself up over Lily’s death. He is having a hard time taking Lily’s painting down, Jason agrees to get rid of it for him so he can move on. Ned shows up at Sonny’s door. Luke finds a devastated Bobbie. 

October 16-21, 1996: 10/16, 10/17, 10/18, 10/21
10/16/96 With Commercials. Nikolas decides to take a volunteer job at GH. Tony gets his car fixed and needs to back to PC to speak with Bobbie. Carly begs him to stay. Luke learns that Bobbie found Carly and Tony together. He decides not to hurt Bobbie any further and lies and tells her that Caroline is dead. Tony walks in on Bobbie and Luke talking about her “other daughter”. Bobbie comes clean. Ned pumps Sonny for information about the problems between him and Jax. Sonny surmises that Ned wants him to take care of Jax. If a skeleton from Jax's past would force him off the ELQ board, Ned wouldn't lose any sleep over it. He informs Sonny about Brenda’s big wedding. Jax calls his father and tells him about his upcoming wedding. Laura is worried about having sold her soul to the devil to save GH. Carly opens the door to Luke at the cabin.

10/17/96 With Commercials. Lucy has a fantasy about Luke busting Kevin out of prison. She snaps back to reality when Kevin appears before her behind a pain of glass in a orange jumpsuit. She promises to get him out of jail soon despite firing Alexis. Kevin has one of his mini-meltdowns. Tom is ticked when he finds Stefan set up in Steve’s office. Stefan informs Tom that Alexis will be the new GH council. Tom takes offense when Stefan talks about Steve’s mismanagement. Luke confronts Carly about sleeping with her stepfather. Luke tells Carly that there is no way that Bobbie will ever finds out about her being her daughter. He gives her money for a one way ticket out of town tonight. Tony and Bobbie argue. Lucas interrupts them and they play nice. Felicia and Mac arrive home with Maxie and Georgie. Stefan arrives at the brownstone to thank Bobbie for persuading him to help GH. Luke finds the two of them in an embrace. Lucy goes to Mac to help Kevin. Tony arrives back at the cabin to find Carly gone. 

10/18/96 With Commercials. Lucy urges Mac to help Kevin. Felicia listens to Lucy's pleas. Mac is not sure what more he can do. Felicia urges Mac to at least go to Kevin and make sure he is alright. A guard at the prison mistakes Kevin for Ryan and roughs him up. Later, Lucy asks Luke to break Kevin out of jail and Luke talks her out of it. Mac visit Kevin; he is disturbed to find Kevin withdrawn. They talk and Mac gives him a letter from Robin. Mac promises to try and help more. Carly leaves the cabin and runs to Jason's apartment for a place to crash. After she turns on the tears, he lets her stay. Carly ask Jason to go to Kelly's and get her things. Tony arrives at Kellys looking for Carly. Luke sees Bobbie and Stefan embracing and goes for Stefan's throat. Luke learns it was Laura who asked Stefan to stay in PC. Luke finds Laura at the Lesley’s grave in the cemetery.

10/21/96 With Commercials. Luke and Laura talk in the cemetery. She knows that Luke already knows what went down at GH with the Cassadines. Laura is angry at being manipulated. Alexis gives Lucy a file on the strategy she was working on to get Kevin released. Lucy rehires her. Sonny meets with Mac to discuss what he knows about Jax but Mac refuses to spill. Brenda is becoming more dependent on her pain killers. Katherine makes a play to be Jax and Brenda’s wedding coordinator. After a talk with Tom about Kevin, Felicia calls Dara. Lucy visits Kevin again and finds that he has been roughed up. She again promises to get him out of prison soon. Lucky overhears Luke tell Sonny that the Cassadines are now staying in town. Felicia tells Dara that she now wants to drop the charges against Kevin. Dara tells her the wheels are already in motion and it is too late.  Lucy arrives with Alexis in toe and tells Dara, Tom, and Felicia that she is filling charges against them. Lucky starts his game of “Timoria”. 

October 22-25, 1996: 10/22, 10/23, 10/24, 10/25
10/22/96  With Commercials. Lucky’s Timoria” game continues. Lucy explains the charges she is filing against Dara, Felicia and Tom. Tom informs Lucy that Felicia was trying to get Dara to drop the charges. Kevin has another episode. Bobbie agrees that Tony can stay at the brownstone for Lucas’s sake. Tony tells Bobbie that Carly is gone. They discuss what went wrong with their marriage and what to tell Lucas. Luke asks Justus about how to get someone deported. Mac gets word that Kevin has been taken to the prison infirmary. A catatonic Kevin is taken to GH. Lucy, Mac, and Tom arrive. Justus asks Laura to meet him and not tell Luke.   

10/23/96 With Commercials. Kevin is awake. Gail arrives at Kevin’s request. Lucy’s charges against Felicia and Tom make the papers. Stefan admits to Bobbie that she has been on his mind. Katherine is ticked at Lucy for dragging Mac’s good name through the mud. She wants Lucy to sign a retraction for the PC Herald. Mac asks Katherine to back off. Carly and Jason talk about her relationship with Tony. Gail and Kevin make a breakthrough as Kevin is starting to remember some of his childhood memories. He has enormous guilt over leaving Ryan with their mother. Tom walks in on Stefan working in Steve’s office again. Carly returns to GH and comes face to face with Bobbie. 

10/24/96 With Commercials. Ned plans to rid the ELQ board of everyone not family. He plans on sicking Sonny and Jax on each other hoping that they will annihilate each other. With both Sonny and Jax refusing to take buyouts now Ned wants a massive public relations campaign headed by Katherine. He wants Sonny and Jax to work as a team. Felicia sees Kevin at GH. After finding Stefan in Steve’s office again, Tom questions why Stefan gives a damn about GH. Stefan tells Tom and Audrey his idea of turning Steve’s office into a medical library. Audrey doesn't think Tom is being fair to Stefan. Tom thinks Stefan is doing background checks on all the staff. Stefan meets with Monica to discuss her opinion of Alan as an administrator. Carly and Bobbie get into it in a GH elevator after Carly comes to get her things. Carly ask Tony to meet her at Jake's. Monica turns down Dorman request of his job back at GH. She thinks Mercy is the place for him. Stefan comforts Bobbie. With both of them dropping their charges, Felicia and Lucy make a mends. Ned gets word that Lois has given birth to a baby girl. Tony arrives to see Carly at Jason’s apt.   

10/25/96 With Commercials. A tearful Bobbie tells Stefan that Tony is having an affair. Ned gets the details of Brooklyn’s birth from a phone call from Brenda. Ned informs Lila. Carly tells Tony she was going to leave town  but just couldn't. They want to continue seeing each other and Tony asks her to stay at the cabin until they figure things out. Sonny sees Stefan about his 30 million dollar donation to GH for the AIDS wing. Stefan offers to match the funds but Sonny says thank but no thanks. Katherine meets with Jax about the wedding planning. She pockets a copy of Brenda’s Jax cosmetics tour itinerary. Brenda returns home. A sad Ned visits what would have been Brooklyn’s nursery.  

October 28-31, 1996: 10/28, 10/29, 10/30, 10/31
10/28/96 With Commercials. Ned packs up the baby’s nursery. Sonny thinks of Brenda. Stefan offers Laura a job at GH. Laura accepts but questions his motives. Sonny tells Luke that he sensed that Stefan and Bobbie have something going on. Sonny pesters Mac again about what he knows about Jax. Jax overhears Sonny and Mac’s conversation. Mac assures Jax that Sonny will not stop until he uncovers Jax’s secret. Brenda gives Ned a picture of Brooklyn. Ned thanks her for being there for Lois and the baby. Justus tells Laura that he believes Luke is trying to have Nikolas deported. Luke plants drugs on Nikolas. Luke sees Justus talking with Laura. Sonny sends one of his men to Australia to check out the link between Jax and Mac. Jax contemplates telling Brenda his secret. Nikolas is apprehended by GH security. 

10/29/96 With Commercials. Stefan demands GH security let Nikolas go. When they won’t, Bobbie covers for Nikolas. Luke can’t believe his ears. Luke and Laura get into a bitter fight and Luke walks out. Jax almost tells  Brenda his secret but is interrupted when his parents arrive in PC early for the wedding. Jax tells his father that Sonny is sniffing around in his past. Garcia warns Mac that Internal Affairs will be questioning him next about Kevin’s case. Katherine is worried about Mac losing his job over going to bat for Kevin. Mac could care less and tells her that Kevin’s case, in particular, makes him consider resigning. Jax and Brenda make love.  Laura doesn’t believe Luke was right to frame Nikolas but believes Stefan pushed Luke. Bobbie confronts Luke. 

10/30/96 With Commercials. John Jaxs pays Sonny a visit. He demands Sonny back off his investigation of Jax. Jax and Brenda in bed together. Luke questions why Bobbie has changed sides. Luke admits that he took some extreme measure, but he is desperate to break the hold Stefan has on Laura. Tony and Carly at the cabin. Tony shows off his pipes and records a song for Carly on a cassette recorder. As Stefan and Laura argue, Nikolas screams about how sick he is of the fighting. Laura insists that the future lies with Nikolas’s choices. Jax has a nightmare about losing Brenda to Sonny. Nikolas questions Stefan why no one can forgive in the Cassadine family. Sonny is attacked on the docks. Jason takes care of the attacker.

10/31/96 With Commercials. With Kevin getting better, Dara announces that it's time to move him back to prison. Lucy can't believe it. Kevin is desperate to not have to go back. Gail pegs Kevin as having faked a catatonic state to get out in the first place. Alexis threatens to file an injunction. Ned and Justus are talking about getting Jax out of ELQ and Brenda overhears.  Justus tries to explain, but she's sick of hearing "it's just business." Brenda shows Lila a picture of Brooklyn. Lila offers Brenda the mansion to get married in. Brenda asks Emily to be a bridesmaid. Sonny tells Jason and he is certain that the goon that attacked him was sent by Jax. Sonny knows he must be on the right trail, he needs to go to Australia. Lucy gets word that all of Brenda’s promotional appearance have been canceled. Sonny tells Ned he is on the trail of something that would get Jax out of ELQ permanently. After overhearing, Brenda confronts Sonny. Dara talks to Justus  about Kevin’s case. Later, Dara wants to offer Kevin a plea bargain of community service and supervised psychological counseling. Lucy asks what changed her mind. Jax tells Brenda of his pre-honeymoon plans. Lucy gives Kevin the good news.

11/1/96 With Commercials. At Wyndamere, Stefan and Luke argue about him trying to frame Nikolas. They are interrupted by a call from Laura who wants to visit Nikolas. Stefan gloats to Luke. Laura pleads with Nikolas to not quit his job at the hospital. After they talk, Laura is snatched off the Wyndamere dock. Nikolas agrees to think about it. Lucas and Bobbie sort through his Halloween candy. Luke warns Tony that he believes Stefan is interested in Bobbie. Tony and Luke sucker punch each other when Luke insults Carly. Bobbie and Tony talk and he apologizes to her for not being there to support her when she found out about Caroline's "death". Bobbie gets the wrong idea and thinks that he wants to get back together. He hurts her again when he tells her he's not ready to come home yet. Bobbie catches him on the phone to Carly. Brenda and Jax on their pre-honeymoon in New Orleans. Sonny arrives in Australia and buys some damning information about Jax. He phones Ned telling him that he's about to discover Jax's deepest secret. 

11/4/96 With Commercials. Heading to PC for Brenda’s wedding, Jason’s tire blows out on his bike and he and Robin are stranded at an Irish Pub called the “The Wild Swan”. Brenda insists they stay in Pennsylvania and enjoy themselves. Emily helps Brenda get ready for the wedding. Ned gives Brenda a package from Lois. Luke snatched Laura from Wyndamere so they could talk in private. It is revealed that Luke and Laura staged the fight after Nikolas got busted with drugs at GH. Tony makes plans to see Carly at the cabin. Expecting Tony, Carly is surprised to find Bobbie there instead, listening to the song Tony wrote for Carly. Armed with someone who will blow Jax out of the water, Sonny calls Ned from the ELQ jet as the plane is about to land. 

11/5/96 With Commercials. Tony warns Stefan to stay away from Bobbie. Before the ceremony, Brenda and Jax exchange private vows. While the wedding guests wait, Lucy pegs Katherine has trying to sabotage Brenda’s promo tour of Jax cosmetics. Carly explains to Bobbie why she went after Tony. Bobbie is resigned to the fact that it is over between her and Tony. Just as Brenda and Jax are about to walk down the aisle, Sonny arrives with Jax’s back from the dead wife Miranda. Miranda bolts and Jax goes after her. Before he can explain, Sonny gets a slap from Brenda. Brenda thinks that he ruining her wedding is revenge. Tony arrives at the cabin and learns that Bobbie was there. Tony insist to Carly that he has to leave and go and talk with Bobbie. Miranda and Jax talk. Brenda goes after Jax and sees him and Miranda embracing. 

11/6/96 With Commercials. Bobbie decides to take some time off of work and take a vacation. Gail has a session with Kevin. Kevin comes to the realization that he has to tell Lucy the truth about his faked cationic state that lead him to GH. Wedding guest continue to wait wondering what has happened to Jax and Brenda. Sonny explains to Brenda why he brought Miranda to PC. Jax wants an explanation from Miranda. She explains that she survived the explosion. Jax suspects his father knew that Miranda was alive and covered it up and confronts him. John collapses in the Q foyer. Mac and Katherine get into a fight. Kevin learns that he will face a medical review board. Tony returns to the brownstone to find Bobbie gone. Miranda accuses Sonny of using her. John is rushed to GH.  Mac sees Miranda.  

November 7-12, 1996: 11/7, 11/8, 11/11, 11/12
11/7/96 With Commercials. Sonny and Miranda argue. Mac sees Miranda in the Q foyer. She had wanted to die after the accident, she couldn't have Jax looking at her with pity. Monica treats John Jax at GH. Ned attacks Sonny for breaking Brenda's heart. Alan treats Lonnie, a 12yr-old former resident of Ward House, who is brought into GH with a drug overdose. Keisha and Justus are sad to learn that he later died. Edward looks to take advantage of John Jax falling ill. Jax explains to Brenda that nothing has changed between them. Dorman informs Monica that he is suing her for sexual harassment. Miranda and Brenda come face to face when she goes to GH to check on John. Mike and Sonny go a few rounds about what he did to Brenda. Mac suggests Sonny not enter the hospital. 

11/8/96 With Commercials. Dorman and Monica talk about his sexual harassment suit. He claims that Monica pursued him for sex then, after she broke off their relationship, used her influence on Alan to block his return to GH. Later, Monica comes clean with Alan about the affair. Emily overhears their conversation. Although hurt, Alan is not about to let Dorman ruin Monica with a trumped up suit. Bobbie calls Tony from the Dominican Republic to inform him that she got a divorce. John tries to make Jax see why he kept Miranda's condition from him. Luke and Laura have another staged public argument at GH. Luke finds another Stefan-hater in Tom Hardy. Mike rags on Sonny about bringing Miranda to wreck Brenda’s wedding. Sonny tries to justify his actions by claiming he was only interested in finding out Jax's secret in order to oust him from the ELQ. Emily winds up on the docks. She tries to call Lucky but he blows her off. She meets Matt, who is waiting to buy pot. Lucky continues the “Timoria” game. He defeats level 1 and a map prints out. He takes the printout and takes off. Tom finds figures for a "Timoria Grant" on Steve’s computer. Bobbie finds Stefan waiting for her in her hotel room. Brenda opens the door to Sonny 

11/11/96 With Commercials. Brenda and Sonny have it out about him bringing Miranda to PC. Jax confronts Miranda about why she lied about being alive. He learns that Jerry knew the truth as well. Tony tells Luke about the divorce. They talk about their failed marriages. Matt offers Emily drugs. Following the map, Lucky gives Emily the brushoff on the docks. Stefan and Bobbie share a kiss and end up in bed together. Mac insists on taking Miranda home from GH. After the blowout with Sonny, Brenda is quick to reach for her pain pills. Ending montage with Brenda, Jax, Sonny, Luke, Bobbie and Stefan.

11/12/96 With Commercials. Alan tells Monica that he is going to go talk to Dorman about a settlement. Tony arrives at the cabin. He tells Carly that Bobbie got a quickie divorce. Carly proposes they get married and have Lucas come live with them. Tony thinks it is too soon. Stefan and Bobbie in bed together. Bobbie has regrets. Katherine is surprised by Miranda; who is sleeping in Mac’s bed. AJ and Keisha want to pressure the PC City Council to make drugs a major public awareness issue. Justus does not want to help as it would mean being in the limelight. Monica tells the Qs about her affair with Dorman and the lawsuit. Dorman is not interested in a settlement from Alan. Keisha goes to Mac to help on the drug fight. Mac insists they need more man power. Bobbie and Stefan return to PC. Bobbie wants time to think. Bobbie tells Alan about her and Tony’s divorce. Monica cancels her sixth month checkup with Dr. Cahill. 

November 13-18, 1996: 11/13, 11/14, 11/15 Luke & Laura's 15th Anniversary - episode of L&L flashbacks, 11/18
11/13/96 With Commercials. Bobbie explains to Tony about why she rushed to get a divorce. Miranda learns that Mac is the commissioner of police. They discuss how much Mac has changed. Katherine is put off by their closeness. Lucky tells Luke about Lonnie dying. Lucky and Luke talk about what's happened and the whole drug situation at his school. Stefan assures Nikolas that Luke’s debt will be collected with interest for what he tried to do to him. Katherine arrives on Spoon Island taking pictures. Nikolas takes offense and tells her she is trespassing but they eventually hit it off. Keisha overhears Jason and Sonny discuss the drug problem. Keisha confronts Sonny thinking that he would know about the influx of drugs. Luke wonders what's different about the situation in the past few months and concludes the difference is Stefan Cassadine. Mac tells Miranda that he is one that almost killed her.

11/14/96 With Commercials. Alan and Tom talk about Kevin and his future with GH. Stefan arrives and Tom warns Alan not to trust him. Alan tells Stefan about Dorman's suit. They decide they have no choice but to put Dorman back on staff at GH to diffuse the situation. Stefan is eager for Alexis to take Monica’s case. Monica meets with Dorman again to try and get him to drop the lawsuit but he ends up ripping into her. Brenda visits John at GH. Mac explains to Miranda that he is the one that set the explosion that almost killed her. He had big plans and needed money. She doesn't despise him, she's just very sad.  He tells Miranda that Jax has moved on. Mac asks Miranda to stay. Tom sees Kevin. Lucy sees Felicia at the hospital. Felicia is there to meet Alexis and Dara to discuss the terms of Kevin's parole. They discuss a restraining order for a year, therapy, and an ankle bracelet. Back at the penthouse, Brenda confronts Jax about lying. Brenda asks Jax if he stills loves Miranda and he is saved by a phone call. 

11/15/96 With Commercials. Note: 15th anniversary episode of Luke and Laura’s wedding with flashbacks. Laura opens a gift from Luke and finds a cigar band. Laura storms into Luke's Club and they have another one of their fake fights. They plan to meet later. A dressed up Luke prepares to meet Laura. Lucky chats with Luke and gives him an anniversary card.  Luke's "pink dinosaur" refuses to start jeopardizing his date with Laura. Lucky arrives home and agrees to baby sit. Luke borrows a car from one of his customers at the club. Laura also has car trouble. Laura and Luke meet in the catacombs. Lucky plays “Timoria” on his PC. Luke and Laura toast their 15 years of marriage.

11/18/96 With Commercials. Felicia tells Mac that she has decided to not make Kevin where a ankle monitor as a term of his parole. Mac tries to convince Miranda to stay in PC. She agrees to think about it. The Jaxs’ learn that John as to have surgery to remove a clot. Monica learns that Dorman is back on staff at GH. Jason and Sonny discuss Jax. Felicia and Mac discuss Miranda and his part in the accident. Ruby and Mike arrive at GH to support Brenda while John is in surgery. Brenda breaks down fearing that things will never be the same again between her and Jax. Miranda has a few choice words for Sonny. She does not like him or what he did. John Jax makes it through surgery. Monica is angry with Alan for putting Dorman back on the GH staff. Alan explains he had no choice.  

November 19-22, 1996: 11/19, 11/20, 11/21, 11/22
11/19/96 With Commercials. AJ learns from Monica that Alan has rehired Dorman. Later at GH, AJ tears into Alan. Tom tells Luke that he has found nothing in Steve’s files to suggest that Stefan set up GH to fail.  At the club, Luke mentions Timoria to Tom.  Luke tells Tom to stay on the trail. Tony and Bobbie tell Lucas that they have split up. Tony asks Bobbie about how cozy she is getting with Stefan. Tony packs and leaves. Kevin is released from GH. Stefan wishes Kevin well. Kevin introduces Lucy and Stefan. Lucy doesn't trust Stefan. Tony tells Carly he moved out of the brownstone. At GH, Emily meets Nikolas. She learns Monica canceled her checkup. Alan returns home; he and Monica argue. Alan explains he was only trying to protect her. Monica would rather resign than work with Dorman. Luke learns from Bobbie that Carly is still in town and with Tony at the cabin.  Luke warns her not to make the mistake of trusting Stefan Cassadine. Tom looks into the Timoria Grant that Steve applied for GH six months before he died and shares the info with Luke. Alan learns Monica canceled her six month cancer checkup.  

11/20/96 With Commercials. Kevin leaves GH. Alan and Monica argue about her canceling her checkup. She agrees to go. An edgy Felicia worries about Kevin being released but not being cured. Felicia learns about Bobbie and Tony’s divorce. Carly asks Tony to take her back into town. Luke fills Tom in on “Timoria”.  Kevin returns home to find all of his paintings thrown away by Lucy. Kevin comes clean with Lucy about faking his cationic state. Carly meets with Luke. She warns him that if he wrecks her life, he wrecks Bobbie’s as well. Jason comforts an upset Emily. Lucy and Kevin make love.  

11/21/96 With Commercials. Mike thinks that Sonny should back off of Brenda. Jax learns that John is ready to go home to Alaska after he is discharged from GH. Sonny warns Jax that there are things that he does not know about his father. Mac wants Miranda to stay in PC. John explains to Brenda why he did what he did after Miranda’s accident. Kevin orders painting supplies. Lucy and Kevin get into a fight. They make up when Kevin realizes just what Lucy risked for him. Jax goes to Mac for confirmation of Sonny’s accusations. Brenda learns from Katherine that Miranda is staying with Mac. Bobbie asks Stefan if he regrets what happened between them. Miranda wants Jax to tell her to go. 

11/22/96 With Commercials. Brenda overhears Jax and Miranda talk. Jax does not want Miranda to leave. She agrees to stay for a while. Tom brings files to Luke proving that GH was set up to take a fall by the Cassadines. Tom wants to go public, but Luke urges restraint. Lucky continues the “Timoria” game. Laura begins to get concerned. Stefan informs Alexis that he wants her to represent Monica in her harassment trial. Laura goes to Luke's Club, and they fake another public argument. Laura expresses her concern about Lucky's game. Lucky reaches Level 3 of “Timoria” and recognizes a radio tower he knows. He goes to find it. Luke and Laura arrive home and find Lucky gone. Luke checks out Lucky’s computer and sees the name “Timoria” and decides to play. Mac and Miranda talk about Jax. She tells him about the love letters Jax wrote her. Mac gets a call from Luke saying Lucky is missing. Tom tells Felicia about the documents implicating the Cassadines. Alexis introduces herself to Monica. Alexis wants to represent her in the harassment trial. Monica gets the good news about her test results. Brenda asks Jax if he still loves Miranda. Luke gets to Level 2, and Laura recognizes the picture as the old railroad tunnel. Laura heads out to search while Luke continues the game. Lucky steps into quicksand.

November 25-28, 1996: 11/25, 11/26, 11/27, 11/28 Thanksgiving dream
11/25/96 With Commercials. Alan wants to come home to the Q mansion. Jax tells Brenda that he does not know if he is still in love with Miranda. He tells her about his recent knowledge of family company’s shady dealings. Luke continues the “Timoria” game, while Laura searches for Lucky. An angry Laura calls Stefan telling him that she is onto his game of playing with Lucky. Justus and Dara have dinner at Luke’s Club. AJ and Keisha join them. Keisha tells Justus that she has decided to join the police force. AJ and Justus are not too wild about the idea. Laura finds Lucky and Stefan arrives to helps her. Alan and Monica make love. Brenda goes to talk with Sonny. Luke arrives at the bogs. 

11/26/96 With Commercials. AJ and Emily learn that Alan and Monica are back together. Jason pays Monica a visit. Luke and Stefan save Lucky. Brenda asks Sonny if it was hard to convince Miranda to come to PC with him. Knowing that he and his father have unfinished business, Jax confronts him about what Sonny learned about the family business dealings. Tony and Bobbie hammer out the details for Thanksgiving for Lucas. Bobbie does not want Lucas around Carly. Back at the Spencer’s, Luke tells Laura he found a Cassadine bugging device underneath the dining room table. They stage another fight. Jax decides to go to Alaska to take his father home. He says goodbye to Brenda. And injured Stefan shows up at Bobbie’s door. Lucky explains the “Timoria” game to Luke and Laura. 

11/27/96 With Commercials. Brenda goes to the Scorpio’s in search of Jax’s letters to Miranda. Brenda uses Robin as her excuse for coming over and finds the letters. Felicia meets Miranda. They talk Mac. At the Brownstone, Bobbie takes care of Stefan's wounds as he tells her about what happened with Lucky. Bobbie insists on taking him back to Wyndamere. Bobbie is shocked when she finds a ring meant for her. Tony insists Carly join him and Lucas for their pre-Thanksgiving dinner at Kellys. Carly worries that Lucas will hate her for breaking up his family. Katherine takes Nikolas to Luke’s Club. Mac asks if Sonny has any information about the drugs coming into PC. Sonny tells him that his sources say it's not one family. They're coming in from out of the country. He asks that Sonny share any information he finds out with him. Sonny questions why Miranda is staying with him. Miranda finds Brenda in her room with the letters.  

11/28/96 No Commercials. Thanksgiving in PC. Episode is Edward’s, Katherine’s, Lucy’s , and Jax’s crazy hilarious dreams. Features Sonny, Brenda, Jax, Miranda, Lucy, Kevin, Felicia, Tom, Mac, Katherine and The Qs. 

December 2-5, 1996: 12/2, 12/3 1 year anniversary of Stone's death, 12/4 Stefan & Bobbie marry, 12/5 Robin returns for a visit
12/2/96 With Commercials. Sonny continues to grill Mac about Miranda. Brenda makes no apologies after Miranda finds her reading her letters from Jax. The two face off. Brenda questions why she is still in PC. Stefan reveals to Bobbie that he knows all about her past. Stefan lays out to her what marrying him would mean. Nikolas learns that Stefan has asked Bobbie to marry him and questions his motives. Luke and Lucky theorize about what Stefan was trying to accomplish by roping Lucky into his game. They decide to continue the game. Miranda explains to Mac and Katherine about why she held onto Jax’s love letters. Sonny gets a letter from Robin on the  anniversary of Stone’s death. Bobbie arrives at the Spencers. Jax is back in PC and spots Brenda and Sonny on the docks together. 

12/3/96  With Commercials. Mac, Katherine, and Miranda discuss Brenda’s reading the love letters. Katherine thinks Brenda did it only to learn more about Miranda. Brenda accuses Sonny of ruining her life and tells him about reading Miranda's letter. Jax eavesdrops, and confronts Brenda. Sonny is ticked that Brenda forgot what day it is. Nikolas thinks people are just tools to Stefan. Bobbie and Luke argue over Stefan. Luke knows she saw Stefan last night. Bobbie thinks that Luke is paranoid. Luke gets a call from the WSB saying Helena is missing. Laura proposes letting Bobbie in on their master plan. Luke thinks that Bobbie would tell Stefan everything. Ruby tells Bobbie about Tony inviting Carly to share Thanksgiving eve dinner with him and Lucas. She realizes that Tony now has no respect for her. She is ready to start over. Sonny offers Gina a job at Luke's as a hostess. They toast Stone. Brenda looks at her calendar and realizes what day it is and picks up the phone to call Robin only to hear Jax talking to Miranda saying he needs to meet with her. Bobbie accepts Stefan’s proposal. 

12/4/96 With Commercials. Dorman’s lawsuit against Monica makes the morning papers. Lucy wants Brenda back on the Jax cosmetics tour. Brenda insists she can’t leave town now. Bobbie takes Lucas to Wyndamere to meet Stefan and Nikolas. Ned shows Justus a folder on his plan to annihilate Jax. Justus does not like it. Ned reminds him that he has 6 months at the helm of ELQ and he wants Sonny and Jax off the board before he goes. Alan and Monica meet with Alexis to go over her case. Kevin blows off his meeting with Tom. He tells Lucy that wants to resign and not face the GH review board. Ned goes sniffing around GH for medical records. Lucky and Luke continue the “Timoria” game. Bobbie agrees to marry Stefan tonight. Jax is anxious to resolve things with Miranda. Alexis asks Kevin to be a consultant on Monica’s case. Luke arrives at Wyndamere, on the hunt for Helena. He takes a blow to the head and falls unconscious.

12/5/96 With Commercials. Robin returns home from Yale for Christmas. She arrives at Sonny’s penthouse.  They talk about Miranda. Robin feels that Sonny shouldn't have found Miranda. Robin tells Sonny and Jason that she won’t be coming home for Christmas as she going on a media tour for HIV+ youth. Jason gives Robin her Xmas present. Carly shows Tony the new apartment she wants to rent for them. He thinks it's time Carly went back to work at GH. She agrees to accompany him to the hospital. Carly gets the cold shoulder at GH. Later, Carly tells Tony that she does not want to go to GH ever again. Luke learns his assailant was Alexis. He explains he is there searching for Helena. Luke learns she is a Cassadine. Alexis makes sure Luke is escorted off the island. Stefan and Bobbie get married. Luke and Laura figure out that "Mangard" from the game is an anagram for "Grandma." They wonder if it's Helena.  

December 6-11, 1996: 12/6, 12/9 Laura "dies" in the explosion, 12/10, 12/11
12/6/96 With Commercials. Miranda pays Sonny a visit. They discuss his opinion of Brenda and whether she is good for Jax. Brenda feels threatened when Jax makes dinner plans with Miranda. Mac welcomes Robin home. She tells him that she is not coming home for Xmas. Jason takes Robin to the airport so she can return to school. Stefan tells Bobbie about his plans for a Greek honeymoon for them. Bobbie is dreading telling Luke and Tony about their marriage. The Spencers make a connection to Lesley and the “Timoria” game. Luke tells Laura not to get her hopes up but they will follow things to the end. Lucky makes a breakthrough in the game. Jax needs to get his hands on the Miranda’s death certificate if there is one. Bobbie shows up at Carly and Tony’s new apt. Laura meets Stefan. He tells Laura that Helena wants her to believe the old woman in “Timoria” is her mother. Brenda goes to Sonny to ask about the death certificate. 

12/9/96 With Commercials. Sonny admits to Brenda that Miranda came to him for information. Sonny agrees to have Jason run a search for the death certificate. Jax and Miranda meet for dinner at The Grill. Jax questions if she came to PC to pick up where they left off. She insists that it is too late for them and leaves. Bobbie tells Tony and Carly that she is married and will be moving out of the Brownstone. Stefan admits to Laura that he was given the task of killing her mother. Stefan explains that Helena made him choose between Nikolas and Lesley. But that he faked Lesley’s death and that she is alive. Katherine and Nikolas meet at Luke’s Club. Nikolas and Jason play a game of pool. Stefan reveals to Laura that he married Bobbie. Stefan takes Laura to the place where Lesley is hidden. Stefan is worried for her safety with Helena on the loose. Laura ventures in while Stefan waits outside. Suddenly there is an explosion that rocks the building. 

12/10/96 With Commercials. Brenda waits for Jax to come home from his dinner with Miranda. Jax finds and Miranda walking on the beach. They talk about the past and where they go from here. At the brownstone, Bobbie packs her things and takes a last look around. She tells Felicia about her marriage to Stefan. Bobbie insists that Stefan is not a rebound. A second explosion rocks the building with Laura and Lesley inside. Stefan calls for help. Luke sees Katherine and Nikolas together at his club. Luke and Nikolas get into it. Katherine defends Nikolas. Mac and Lucky arrive at the explosion. Overcome by guilt, Stefan tells Lucky that Laura was in the fire. Jax comes home and Brenda probes for details of what went on between him and Miranda, and wants to know when Miranda is leaving. Lucky come into the club and goes after Nikolas. He tells Luke about Laura, and Luke goes crazy. Nikolas runs out. Luke appears at Bobbie's door.

12/11/96 With Commercials. Monica worries about what her public scandal is doing to Emily. Kevin meets with Alexis about the Dorman case. Lucy is anxious to know what a Cassadine wants with him. Bobbie tells Luke about her marriage to Stefan. Luke tells Bobbie about Laura being dead. A distraught Stefan returns to Wyndamere and calls Alexis when he can’t find Nikolas. When she arrives, Stefan tells her about the explosion. Luke explains to Bobbie about the explosion. Bobbie refuses to believe that Stefan is a monster. Stefan arrives at the Brownstone and tries to explain that he is not a killer. Bobbie agrees to go with him back to Wyndamere. Justus tells the Qs that Laura is dead. Justus reveals to Keisha that he killed Damian. Lucy and Kevin learn about Laura. Emily gets pot from Matt. Luke returns to find a whole house of mourners for Laura. 

December 12-16, 1996: 12/12, 12/13, 12/14 Twist of Fate GH's 1st Primetime episode, Laura's funeral, Sonny drugged, Katherine is shot, 12/16
12/12/96 Stefan says Bobbie should go see Luke.  He then cries over Laura's portrait.  When Alexis comes in, with no news of Nikolas, they talk about the stupid feud.  She asks aobut Laura, and he claims he hardly knew the woman. When Bobbie returns, having been thrown out by a scenery chewing Luke, Alexis comforts her a bit.  Alexis thinks Stefan is upstairs, but actually he is in the basement having flashbacks to Greece.  "How will I ever live without you?"  Eventually he returns to the Great Hall and comforts Bobbie, who is understandably upset that Luke claims she murdered Laura.  "You're beginning to see what it means to be a Cassadine."

Presents arrive from Wyndham's.  Laura had planned in advance.  Lucy is there helping.  She and Luke hug.  Luke sends Sonny to see Mac about arresting Stefan.  Luke and Lucky talk with Lucy about the ceremony, which will not be in the church.  Lucy heads upstairs for a while, and Bobbie lets herself in.  Luke tells her to leave.  She's a spy for the Cassadines.  "Does he want to make sure that our tears are real, that our grief is real, that our broken hearts are real?"  Bobbie says she is Luke's sister.  He informs her "What I came to tell you last night, you will never know."   Ruby can't believe they're fighting, but Luke runs Bobbie off.  He starts to tell Lucy how much he hates the house.  Lucky falls right in with this, talking about leaving right after the funeral.  Poor Lucy. Brenda and Jax talk about Luke.  Then she tells him she can't leave all this unresolved, that Jax should make a decision.  He asks how come she can understand Luke, but can't see that the same thing happened to him. His face is the same, but nothing else is.  Everything he's done since Mirander "died" has been changed by that incident, and when the door opened and she was there, he was all disoriented.  Brenda knows what she has to do, which is nothing. That's the hardest thing of all.

Mac hears from the Rochester police that the explosion was an accident. Alexis, meanwhile, goes to Katherine to see if Nikolas has been spotted. Mac is annoyed that Katherine knows a Cassadine. "Keep your distance." She avers, to the interest of legions of Patch-and-Kayla fans, "I have never even laid eyes on this evil uncle."  She leaves for the office. Sonny drops in.  The end of the conversation is that Sonny should attempt to keep Luke on a leash so the kids don't end up orphans.  Mac leaves, but Miranda asks Sonny to stay for tea.  Actually, she wants him to take her to the airport. At the airport, we see Dr. Dorman meet a "patient" and he spots Sonny, but Sonny doesn't really see him. All the pins in Miranda's legs make the metal detectors crazy, so she takes a long time.  Sonny asks why she's leaving, and she says she needs more practice being dead.  Sonny states that "Practice is how you get to Carnegie Hall.  Home you steal." She leaves anyway. Mac comes home and sees the note from Miranda.  He's all upset and storms off to Jax and Brenda's to bluster and threaten and say it's their fault.  Meanwhile, Katherine has also found the note, all crumpled up.

12/13/96 Stefan took a shocked Laura to see Lesley, who is catatonic. Stefan revealed that Helena did not know he saved Lesley's life after the car crash and then took Lesley to a sanitarium in Greece. Stefan was stunned when the building blew up after Laura went inside to see her mother. Luke and Lucky were "devastated" when two bodies believed to be Laura and Lesley were found in the rubble. Luke nixed letting Bobbie attend Laura's funeral because she's married to Stefan. Lucky kept Luke from shooting Stefan. Stef was intrigued by Katherine who came to the island to talk to Nik. Brenda saved Sonny after a thug injected him with drugs. At Brenda's insistence, Jax followed Miranda to Australia but Miranda said it's over between her and Jax. Ned overheard Justus tell Keesha that he killed Damian. Lucy is upset because Kevin and Alexis are friends.

At the Spencer house, Lucy, Sonny, Lucky and Luke mill around in the aftermath of Laura's death.  Luke told Lucky that there was nothing to hold them in Port Charles now and said he was taking both kids on the road after the funeral. Luke and Sonny discussed how Mac would be filing double-murder charges against Stefan. At Windemere, Bobbie and Stefan talk about what happened. Stefan urged Bobbie to visit Luke.  Alone in the wine cellar, Stefan gazed at Laura's portrait and wept. Bobbie visited Luke and they got into a terrific argument over the Cassadines. He forbade her to attend the funeral. She returned to Windemere and told Stef that Luke tossed her out.  Later on, Tony went to Windemere to visit Lucas. He and Bobbie had a tense conversation and then Tony and Stefan mildly tangled. Alexis, who was trying to find Nik, sought out KatyBell but the kid wasn't with her. Apparently he's hiding out.

Sonny dropped in on Mac at home; Mac was just leaving for work. Sonny got snagged by Miranda to take her to the airport. At the airport Sonny spied Dr Dorman meeting a wheelchair-bound man fresh off the plane from Colombia. In their hotel suite, Brenda urged Jax to go after Miranda and resolve what's going on between them. Then "come back to me" she smiled.  Brenda visited Ned and asked him to be her date for the funeral. She also told him that Jax went to Australia to have it out with Miranda.

At the Q mansion, Justus told Keesha that he was going to confess to Damian's murder. She urged him not to and suggested he honor Laura's memory by turning his back on the Quartermaine corporate machine and returning to the Charles Street Community to help folks. Later on, Justus went to Luke and told him he was going to confess and would Luke be the corroborating witness?  Luke told him not to be a chump and said he wouldn't assist Justus on his path of self destruction.

Twist of Fate Primetime Episode 12/14/96 Before Luke left for the funeral he tucked a gun into the waistband of his trousers. He arrived at the funeral and stood with Amy, hugging her.  Luke
spoke to the mourners gathered around Laura's grave. He turned the solemn occasion into an anti-Cassidine tirade but eventually Tony got him to stop. Mac, who had glimpsed the gun, made Luke hand it over. Luke returned to his club and got another gun, which he tucked into the back of his trousers this time. He said his good-byes around town then he and Lucky went to Windemere to play out the final act of his little drama. He confronted Stefan and pointed the gun at him. Bobbie entered to Stefan's rescue and Luke withdrew after Lucky showed up and pleaded with him to spare Stefan's life and avoid a jail sentence.  Luke and Lucky, on a secluded road, chuckled over how smoothly their plan went. The only thing that bothered Luke was that Lucky tossed his favorite gun away and "it's got my fingerprints on it!"  Lucky replied that he had to make their scene look realistic to Bobbie and Stefan. They met up with Tom Hardy and Laura next to a van. Lesley is in the back and she spoke Laura's name as they fired up the car and headed off.

Sonny's limo screeched to a stop outside GH's emergency entrance. He ran inside and demanded to know where Brenda was. Seems he had gotten a call that said she had been an accident.  He left his bodyguard at the front desk and followed a nurse to see Brenda. Instead he was shown into an empty emergency station and was grabbed around the neck by somebody in a lab coat. Sonny was injected with drugs, put on a gurney and covered with a sheet. He was then wheeled out, under the nose of his bodyguard still waiting at the front desk, and taken to his penthouse, where he was dumped on the couch. Brenda found him later, after looking all over town. She knew something was wrong when Sonny didn't show up for the funeral. She called 911 and kept him talking until the medics arrives. Then she accompanied him to GH; before he was wheeled away he said,  "I Love You" to her.

At Windemere, Stef gazed mournfully at Laura's portrait.  Then he burned the picture and the dress she posed in, which he had saved all these years. Later on, Bobbie and Stefan talked about Lesley Webber. He confessed what happened all those years ago and ended by swearing he did NOT kill Laura or Lesley. Later on, Stefan was wandering around Windemere calling out Nik's name. A figure stepped from the darkness, it was Luke who held a gun pointed at where Stefan's heart would be if he had one. Luke drew a bead on Stefan but just then Bobbie entered into the clearing and stepped in front of Stefan, protecting her hubby from her brother's gun.  She told Luke to just leave them alone. Lucky then ran up and pleaded with Luke to spare Stefan's life and return to him and Lesley Lu. Lucky grabbed Luke's gun and threw it into the shrubbery.  They left and Stefan told Bobbie to go up to the house.  Then Stefan combed the bushes and found the gun; he was careful not to disturb the fingerprints on it. He pointed at the tree and fired. Just as he pulled the trigger, a woman stepped from behind the tree and into the line of fire. Stefan looked on horrified, as the blonde sank to the ground. Katherine was leaving her apartment for the funeral. She opened her door and Nikolas was standing outside. He came in and grabbed her, planting a hard kiss on her mouth. She recognized that the kid was upset and confused and instead of being angry at him, she sensitively drew him out about Laura's death. They were interrupted by the Mac. Nik split and Katherine, after a few well chosen words to Mac, followed the kid. She assumed he went home and went to Windemere. Katherine started walking around in the underbrush, presumably on her way to the front door. She stepped from behind a large tree and caught a bullet that Stefan has just fired at the tree.

12/16/96 Most of this episode reaired portions of the Twist of Fate as a flashback. Luke, Lucky, LuLu, Laura, and Leslie are reunited. The five drive away from Port Charles together, with everyone assuming that Laura is dead.  Katherine goes to Windemere to find Nikolas and lurks outside in the woods trying to find her way to the house. Stefan, also in the woods, is holding the gun Luke held on him that Lucky had thrown into the brush, and ends up firing the gun into the night, the bullet hits Katherine. When he comes out of his daze, he realizes what he has done and that someone has been hurt. He rushes to Katherine's side and feels for a pulse. In panic, he calls for Bobbie's help while one of the guards calls for paramedics. Bobbie rushes to the scene, realizes it is Katherine, and tries to help her as much as possible while waiting for the ambulance. Nikolas shows up at Windemere to find Stefan and Bobbie standing over a shot Katherine. He is frantic and demands to know how this happened and at who's hands. Stefan replies that he was outside and simply found her like that.

In Australia, Jacks has found Miranda walking on the beach where they were married and takes her to a nearby hut. She is cold and asks what it is he wants from her and why he is there, since everything is over between them. Jacks disagrees, telling her that nothing is over between them and that he came to Australia seeking the truth so that they can each move on. Miranda tells him she couldn't believe how much she still loved him when she saw him again. She then recants and tells him she is just acting crazy since she is so confused. Jacks attempts to touch her but is denied. She asks him to stop confusing her but he tells her she is not a good lier and asks what it is she is really thinking. She tells him she is thinking about the sea, their wedding and the vows they exchanged so long ago. He tells her that they cannot continue to find and lose each other over and over again, and despite her half hearted attempts to push him away, he grabs her and kesses her passionately.

At the emergency room at GH, Sonny fights for his life after being set up with a large dose of heroin. Brenda remains by his side. Mike shows up in a panic over Sonny's condition. He remembers to Brenda that she knew Sonny was in trouble at the cemetary, after he didn't show up for the Laura's service. Brenda tells Mike she just had a feeling in her gut that something was amiss. She says that Sonny doesn't do drugs and that he told her that someone did this to him and set him up. In the ER, a half conscious Sonny remembers being called to GH because someone notified him that Brenda was in a car accident and requesting his presence. He was then drugged by someone posing as a doctor and taken to his house and left him to die. Brenda and Mike are told that Sonny is holding on. Mac shows up and Mike asks him if he is there for Sonny or on official police business. Mac tells him "both". Mike tells Mac that someone obviously wanted Sonny dead. Mac walks away to call Katherine on his cell phone, he leaves a message for her at his house. Brenda asks Mike if Mac believes that Sonny was framed. Mike is unsure. Brenda rushes to Sonny's side as he comes through. She holds his hand and tells him she is there for him just like she promised. He opens his eyes, grabs her hand, and is pleased to see her.

In the ambulance on the way to the hospital, Bobbie takes care of Katherine. Stefan and Nikolas follow behind. Nikolas asks Stefan if Laura's death was really an accident. Stefan swears to him that it was. Nikolas goes further to question Katherine's shooting, as to whether that was too an accident. Stefan tells him he was outside by the cliffs when he heard a gun shot and then found Katherine lying there. He asks Nikolas how he knows her and why she would have been at Windemere. Nikolas responds angrily that it doesn't matter why she came, just that they find out who shot her and that she is okay. Back in the ambulance, Katherine's pressure drops and the paramedics phone GH to prepare them for a trauma patient in unstable condition. As Katherine is rushed into GH, Mac looks down, devasted to find her on the stretcher coming in.

December 17-20, 1996: 12/17 Taggert's first epi, 12/18, 12/19, 12/20
12/17/96 With Commercials. Alan treats Katherine and she goes into emergency surgery. Stefan and Nikolas arrive at GH. Mac questions them. Sonny wants to know how Brenda knew he was in trouble. Jax stops things with Miranda. But things are not over for them as they are still married. Detective Taggert arrives at GH to question Stefan about the shooting. (Note: First episode for Real Andrews as “Taggert”) Nikolas is quick to point the finger at Luke. An APB is issued for Luke. Felicia arrives to wait with Mac while Katherine is in surgery. Katherine makes it through surgery but is not out of the woods. Sonny tells Brenda that he believes the people that set him up did it to get to her. Jax wants Miranda to come back to PC and divorce him. They need closure. Luke’s fingerprints are found on the gun. 

12/18/96 With Commercials. Brenda asks Sonny if he thinks Jax set him up. Brenda thinks he is stretching. Nikolas admits to Bobbie that Katherine was on Spoon Island because of him. Alexis is puzzled that Stefan is not happy that Luke could be out of his way permanently if he did shot Katherine. Taggert gets a warrant for Sonny’s apt. Jason arrives at GH and gets the skinny on what happened to Sonny. Carly and Tony decorate their Christmas tree. They are interrupted by a call from Bobbie. Felicia runs into Kevin at GH, when Kevin and Lucy arrive to check on Katherine. Bobbie learns that Luke has taken off for good. Taggert questions Jason. He tries to goad Jason to taking a swing at him. Jason shows up at Carly’s door. Sonny is read his rights. Katherine wakes up. 

12/19/96 With Commercials. Carly misunderstands what happened to Sonny. Jason is angry with himself for not protecting Sonny. Dara wants a statement from Sonny. Ned overhear Keisha tell Justus he doesn't belong at ELQ. Keisha confronts Ned about his attitude toward public service. Mac gets word that Katherine is awake. Alan finds it strange that Stefan is taking such an interest in Katherine’s case. Sonny works with a sketch artist to draw the mystery woman who lured him into the ambush. Keisha is teed that AJ has not yet written a recommendation for the PCPD academy. Mac has more questions of Stefan. Jax is back in PC and sees Sonny and Brenda together at GH. Mac asks Katherine if she knows who shot her. Stefan tells Alexis that he may need an attorney.  

12/20/96 With Commercials. Carly expresses her fears to Jason that Tony might someday not need her. Tony walks in on them. He informs Carly that he has to be with Lucas on Christmas. Bobbie worries to Felicia and Tom that Katherine might finger Luke. Nikolas shots his mouth off about Luke. Bobbie jumps in to defend her brother. Stefan tells Alexis that he shot Katherine accidentally and admits he was trying to frame Luke. Katherine tries to describe what happened on Spoon Island but her memory is fuzzy. Jax demands to know why Brenda is with Sonny at GH. She tells him about saving Sonny's life. Brenda asks about Australia. Miranda appears at GH. Jax tells Brenda that he and Miranda decided it was over between them , but she came back so they could get an divorce. Sonny gives Jason the sketch of the woman who set him up and orders him to find her. As Sonny prepares to leave GH, he gets a call from the setup woman, but as she begins to speak, she drops the phone as a figure appears. Tony asks Justus to represent him in his custody suit for Lucas, but Justus declines. Katherine starts to panic at seeing Stefan.

December 23-27, 1996:  12/23, 12/24 Christmas Episode, Ned & Alexis talk at PC grille (1st scene together?), 12/26 Emily first takes drugs (marijuana), 12/27
12/23/96 With Commercials. Sonny wants a trace on the call from the setup woman. Katherine freaks out when she can’t feel her legs. Miranda comforts her. Bobbie is puzzled when Stefan does not want to leave the hospital. She convinces him to go and get a Christmas tree with her and Lucas. Tony convinces Justus to take his case for custody of Lucas. Justus warns Tony that he cannot share any of visits with Lucas with Carly. He has to break the news to Carly that he has to move back to the brownstone. The Qs meet Emily’s new friend, Matt. Lucy and Kevin decorate their  tree. They talk about their past Christmases. Taggert and the PCPD investigate the setup woman’s apt. She is long gone. Brenda asks Jax if he made love to Miranda in Australia. He insists he can’t live without her. They make love. Miranda is anxious when Mac mentions that Katherine was hurt on Stefan Cassadine’s island. 

12/24/96 With Commercials. Christmas eve in PC. Sonny, Mike, and Jason go Christmas tree shopping as Mike insists they decorate the penthouse. Sonny takes over selling trees when the proprietor goes into labor. Jason and Mike take her to the hospital. Bobbie takes Lucas to the GH Christmas pediatric party and learns that it is not much of a party. She decides to take on the challenge of decorating for the party last minute. Bobbie and Alan call in reinforcements. The Qs decorate their tree. Alexis and Ned meet for the first time at the PC hotel bar. Katherine gets a Christmas phone call from Robin from DC. Lucy gets a card from Scotty. Jason shows up at Carly's and she gives him a present. Jason visits Lila, at the Q, and brings her a box of peppermint candies. Alan reads the Christmas story.  

12/26/96 With Commercials. With the holidays, Alan and Monica miss Jason even more. Tony prepares to operate on Katherine. He wants Bobbie on his team which surprises Carly. Katherine has a nightmare about the shooter. Emily is less-than-thrilled with her gift from Lila, something a Proper Young Lady would wear. Monica offers to help Emily return it. Alexis and Kevin meet with Monica to discuss Dorman. Kevin begins to build a psychological profile. At GH, Dorman prescribes more pain pills for Alan. Stefan calls GH and checks on Katherine. He next calls Anna Seaburg in Zurich. Tony gives Katherine her options, operate now, which is riskier, or later, which might mean paralysis. Lucy pays Katherine a visit. Kevin probes Dorman. Carly informs Tony and Bobbie that she got her physical therapy job at GH back. Stefan takes Tony off of Katherine’s case.  

12/27/96 With Commercials. Brenda wants to know how long a divorce will take between him and Miranda. At Sonny’s request, Taggert and Sonny take another look around the “setup woman’s” (Marilyn Cooper) apt. Kevin buddies up to Dorman. Stefan informs Tony that he is flying Anna Seaburg in to operate one Katherine. Tony informs Katherine. Nikolas notices a very high Emily at GH and offers to have someone take her home. Bobbie confronts Stefan about taking Tony off Katherine’s case. Emily lets it slip to Dorman that Kevin is working on Monica’s case. Sonny tells Brenda and Jax that he searched Marilyn Cooper’s apt. He asks Brenda to promise to stay out of the investigation. She promises but Sonny has he doubts that she will. Tony goes to bat for Tony and Katherine decides to let him do her surgery. Brenda poses as Marilyn Cooper’s sister and goes searching for information. Katherine goes into surgery. Dorman finds Monica in the GH parking garage. 

December 30, 1996 - January 3, 1997:  12/30, 12/31/96 New Year's Eve parties at Q's, brownstone, Luke's, Robin calls Sonny and Jason, 1/2/97, 1/3/97
12/30/96 With Commercials. Alan intervenes when Dorman threatens Monica in the GH parking garage for sending Kevin in to spy on him. A witness hears Alan threaten Dorman. Brenda has to cover when she is recognized as the Jax cosmetics model after going to snoop on Marilyn Cooper. Jax comforts Miranda when she is upset after seeing Katherine go into surgery. Nikolas calls Stefan out for his lack of focus at GH and his lies about Lesley Webber. Katherine is out of surgery but time will tell if she will walk again. Brenda goes to Sonny with the information she got on Marilyn Cooper. Alan and Monica talk with Emily about not going near Dorman. Taggert is teed at Sonny and Brenda for butting into his investigation. Brenda insists on continuing to help Sonny.  

12/31/96 With Commercials. Luke’s Club throws a New Year’s Party. AJ tries to get Jason to go to the Q's but he refuses. Ned invites Brenda and Jax to the New Years Eve party at the Q's. Felicia throws a party at the brownstone. Katherine wants to be alone, and sends Mac and Miranda to Felicia's party. Carly gets the cold shoulder when Tony brings her to the party at the brownstone. Justus and Tony talk about his custody case for Lucas. Alexis drops by the Q party. Alan and Monica tells Alexis that Dorman knows that Kevin is working with them. Katherine has a dream. She awakes to sees Stefan at her bedside. Katherine thanks Stefan for having saved her life. AJ talks to Keisha about proposing to propose. Emily chats with Nikolas, who is waiting for Alexis, out in the driveway at the Q's. Carly feels neglected and lets Tony have it. Robin calls Sonny and Jason.  

1/2/97 With Commercials. To smooth things over, Tony brings Carly flowers. The two make love but after Tony has to leave abruptly. A depressed Katherine is worried that her career at Deception is done and that Lucy is ready to pounce. Miranda asks Sonny about what he knows about Stefan Cassadine. Brenda does not want any secrets from Jax and she comes clean about digging into Marilyn Cooper’s past. She tries to convince him that she has to help Sonny. Ned threatens a web page on the inner dealings of the Jaxs corporation. Jax seems unphased until Ned brings up Miranda. Brenda accuses Ned of using their friendship to try to manipulate someone she loves. Jax agrees to sell his ELQ stock. Alexis tells Stefan that his guilt over Katherine’s accident could become potentially dangerous. Keisha is ticked at AJ when Edward mentions their engagement and she and AJ are not even engaged. Alexis tells Kevin that Dorman knows he is working for the enemy. Kevin still wants to work Monica’s case. Mac wants to make sure that Lucy will not go after Deception while Katherine in the hospital. Mac denies Sonny’s request to take another look around Marilyn Cooper’s apt.  

1/3/97 With Commercials. Sonny tell Brenda again to keep her nose out of this business of Marilyn Cooper. She agrees but then follows him to the nurse's apartment. They look for clues in the apartment and are almost caught. Sonny has a hard time not freaking out in the small space of the closet, where they are hiding. Jax tells Mac that he does not like Miranda spending so much time with Katherine. Ned pays Katherine a visit at GH. Later, she dreams that Stefan visited her. Ned gives Jax a deadline by which hr must sell his ELQ stock. With Paige’s birthday, Monica gives Emily a locket with Emily and Paige's photos in it. Later, Emily runs into Dorman again, Emily is rescued by Alexis who tells Pierce to back off. Alexis meets with Dorman and his attorney. Dorman taunts Alan an Monica about his met with Alexis. Emily and Nikolas talk about losing a parent. Mac and Jax wrangled over what was best for Miranda. Miranda and Stefan come to face to face. Katherine feels a twinge in her leg.
