Bo & Hope #28 September 23 - November 19, 1996: 8 hr original edit

Dvd #28A 9/23 Bo's concerns deepen when he finds out that Billie hasn't been attacked by Franco, but dated him in Europe. Bo still suspects Franco is the attacker, and he's determined to find out if Franco is really what he claims to be. Hope is thrilled to see Franco again, and he joins them all for dinner. It's obvious that he and Billie were close, and Hope thinks it's wonderful. Bo eyes him with distrust.

9/24 Bo, Hope, Billie, and Franco talk about how Billie met Franco while staying in Rome for a while. After awhile they decide to call it a night. Bo says he and Hope will take Billie home, but Franco says he will do it. Bo says he insists but Hope gives him a look and tells him Franco can take Billie home. Bo is uneasy, but he lets Franco take Billie home.

We see a man knock on a door, and Jill answers it. She has been sleeping because she is rubbing her eyes. She says hello and mumbles something about Susan, but when she looks at who is at the door she screams "Oh my god it's you!" and the man pushes his way into the apartment and the door is slammed shut.

9/26 After a horrible nightmare, Bo is convinced that Billie is in terrible danger with Franco. But Hope is able to assure Bo that it's nothing, and he forgets about Billie for now. Later, Billie talks to her best friend Hope about Franco. Hope assures Billie that risk is necessary for love. While Billie tries to decide if she's ready to take the plunge with the handsome Franco, the attacker strikes again [actually he did it the night before, but in the morning an extremely upset Jill calls Bo and says "He's back." Billie wonders if Franco will be the one to get her over Bo, and decides to give him a chance. An eager Franco shows up at Billie's place again with a huge bunch of flowers. Billie notices a bandage on his hand, and he claims that he hurt himself when he was removing the thorns from the flowers.

9/27 Jill calls Bo to tell her she's been attacked again. Bo meets her on the pier and her face is bruised badly. She tells Bo she thought the knocking on the door was her roommate but she was groggy and didn't realize who it was. Before she could stop he pushed his way inside. She says she didn't get a good look because it was dark. The man started hitting her and forcing her down. She says he was going to rape her, so she grabbed a glass vase and hit him with it. She knows she cut his wrist and then as he was hurt she got away. Bo tells her that he needs her to ID the stalker and testify in court against him. She says no, because he will come after her, then she runs away.

Hope shows up at Billie’s apartment with a bag filled with junk food. Franco leaves to wash his hands and Billie talks about Franco and Hope says she thinks Franco will change her life. In the other room Franco says to himself he is going to change Hope's life as well. Later on the pier, Billie runs into a woman selling flowers and has a flashback about how Bo used to always buy her a white rose there. Next at the park, Billie remembers about being there with Bo on the swings. Hope returns to the boat to find Bo upset about Jill. He tells Hope that she cut him, and that when he suggested a lineup she ran off. Hope gets mad at him when Bo suspects Franco and Bo goes to talk to Billie about him.

Bo and Hope get into a huge argument about it, and how Franco is making her so happy. Hope convinces Bo not to go to Billie unless he is 100% sure. As they are fighting Jill shows up at the boat and says she is ready to answer his question. They start questioning her. Bo then shows her a picture of Franco but she is unsure, but she knows she could identify him in a line-up. Bo then says he is going to get Franco even though Hope says he can't do that

.

9/30 Bo decides to go bring Franco in for a line up but Hope tells him she will not let him do it. They start to argue and Jill panics and runs off. She tells Bo to call her when he has the guy. Hope tries to persuade Bo not to do this, but his mind is made up. At the Cheating Heart, Billie remembers good times with Bo. Franco excuses himself to make a call, and calls his mysterious boss. He informs his boss about the situation, and that Billie has no idea what's in store for her.

Bo and Hope arrive, and Bo noticed the bandage on Franco's wrist. Billie explains he cut himself on the thorns of some roses he picked for her, but Bo doesn't believe him. Just as Bo is about to tell Franco why he's there Hopes phone rings, and it's Jill. Jill has remembered something about her attacker and she has to see Bo NOW. Bo and Hope leave and go to the boat to meet Jill. There she tells them she remembered her attacker had intense blue eyes. After Jill leaves Hope tells Bo he was wrong (Franco has green eyes) and she wants him to drop it. Bo and Hope return to the pub and Bo acts all buddy with Franco.

10/2 Hope is alone on the boat when she comes across an old video of Bo and Billie. Unable to resist, Hope takes a look. Hope is surprised to see how happy and very much in love they were. Although she tries not to let it bother her, Hope can't help but wonder if unattached Billie could be a threat. Hope has a heart-to-heart with Alice, who is not sure that inviting Billie to the wedding is such a good idea.

Bo arrives to see Victor then heads down to the barn to find Billie. Hope arrives shortly afterwards to deliver the wedding invitations. Kate is impressed with Franco’s work, including a striking photo of Franco with blue eyes. He explains that sometimes he wears contact lenses during photo shoots to achieve a different look.

10/8 Bo and Hope are making the final touches on the wedding reception they have planned for Carrie and Austin when Billie and Franco show up together. When Carrie and Austin arrive everyone cheers them. Everyone congratulates them but they don't give them a chance to explain. As Jonah presents Mr. and Mrs. Austin Reed Carrie steps back and Sami steps up and announces she is Mrs. Austin Reed. Mickey then explains the whole mess to everyone. Everyone is shocked, but they turn the party into a Welcome back Will one. Billie introduces Franco as her new boyfriend to everyone. Hope still feels insecure when she sees Bo and Billie looking at each other as their song plays.

Franco has a mysterious call later on the docks. He tells the person he doesn't like it, but he'll do it. Then he removes a contact lens case and puts in some blue contacts. Little does he know that Billie is also on the docks not far from where he is.

10/9 Bo makes arrangements to have a special task force patrol the docks and parks for Jill's attacker. When Hope and Bo stop by Shawn and Caroline's later on they learn that Franco has moved back in. Franco & Billie run into Bo and Hope. They chit chat but then go their separate ways. Bo seems troubled by Franco and looks back at him as he and Billie walk away. Franco turns to Bo and tilts down his sun glasses, revealing his blue eyes to Bo for a split second.

10/10 Hope and Billie meet up at the Salem Place. Billie is shopping for a swimsuit and Hope is meeting her wedding planner. The planner arrives and announces who she is to Billie and asks if she'd care to join them. Billie tells her she won't be joining them. Billie tells Hope she loves her for trying to protect her, but she is happy for her and Bo. However when one of Bo and Billie’s songs plays Hope sees how much it hurts her, and wonder if Bo and Billie are really over each other.

Hope comes over to see Jen tells her everything will be okay. Jen tells Hope that if her and Jack ever got together again they'd realize that it was just not meant to be. Hope asks her that despite of everything, is she still in love with Jack. Jen says she has feelings for Jack, but she doesn't know what they are. Later Hope admit she's concerned about Billie's feelings for Bo, and whether Bo is over Billie. Hope asks Jen to be her matron of honor, and Jen accepts. Hope runs into Billie again, as does the wedding coordinator who has a stash of veils for Hope to look at. The wedding coordinator asks if Billie is going to be in the wedding, but Hope says she hadn't asked. Hope feels now is better than never and asks if she'd be in the wedding, and Billie agrees.

10/11 Hope is trying on wedding veils as Billie remembers trying on wedding veils herself for her wedding to Bo. Hope goes off to the back to look at a new shipment, and Billie picks up a veil and tries it on. Bo comes in thinking she is Hope and Billie becomes upset and leaves. Bo picks up the veil and looks at it and also remembers his wedding to Billie.

Outside the wedding shop Franco runs into Andre (The prisoner from France, my he travels quickly for an escape convict). Andre threatens to ruin Franco's plans if he doesn't cut him on the deal. Franco tells him to leave Salem now, but Andre knows who Franco's employer is. Franco tells him that this information could get him killed and he should forget it and get out of town. Later Franco calls his boss and tells him what's up, and wants to know what to do.

Bo, Billie, Franco, and Hope head out to the island and Andre follows them. When they get there old memories of her and Bo surface and Franco says that maybe they can make some new memories today. Bo is still uneasy about leaving Billie with Franco, but Hope assures him Franco is perfectly harmless. Bo and Hope do the traditional shower thing, and Billie hears them from the cabin. Meanwhile Franco has disappeared and Andre is murdered by a mysterious figure with a knife.

10/14 Franco is on the beach, and in his hand is a bloody knife. Nearby on the sand is a dead Andre. However, for what it's worth, the person who killed Andre was wearing gloves. Suddenly, Franco hears Billie calling his name. Franco glances up and down the beach, searching desperately for a place to hide before Billie stumbles upon Andre's body. He manages to catch up to Billie before she gets to the beach, and the two return to the cabin for some food.

Afterwards, Bo notices Franco is acting a bit strangely. First he suggests they leave soon since it is getting late, and then he resists the idea of building a fire on the beach. He stops Bo from going out to get more firewood, and says it's "his turn". Billie accompanies him against his wishes, so he tells her to gather wood in a certain area while he looks elsewhere. She defies him and heads to the beach, where (after the obligatory insertion of Bo/ Billie flashbacks and Billie sighing "Will I ever get over Bo?") she sees the body and screams. The others come running. Bo confirms that the guy is dead, and Hope calls for a coroner. Bo questions everyone, and no one recognizes the man, including Franco who says "I've never seen this man before in my life.”

10/16 Bo suspects Franco is somehow involved in the death of that John Doe found on the island the other day [actually it is still the same day, and they haven't left the island]. Franco swears that he isn't but to appease Bo, he agrees to have another look at the body. After taking that look, Franco says again that he has never seen the man before. Bo was about to accuse him anyway, but Hope stops him. After Franco leaves, Bo turns to Hope. "We've searched the island," says Bo impatiently, "and Franco was the only person alone that night." "No, someone else was also alone that night," says Hope. "And," she adds, "that someone is Billie." [Actually it was Abe who pointed out to Bo that neither Billie nor Franco have an alibi.

Hope is just still upset that Bo is still so suspicious of Franco, and it doesn't help that he seems even more so now that Franco is involved with Billie. Hope is continually reminded of the time Bo and Billie spent on the island together and the relationship they shared, and it upsets her. Bo and Abe talk to the ferry captain, and he recognizes the dead man as one he brought to the island. As they did not converse at all, he can't supply any further information.

The search for the murder weapon begins. Bo and Billie notice that one of the knives from the set Mrs. Horton gave them for their wedding is missing from the cabin. It is Franco who has the knife, and he calls his boss to assure him/her that Bo has absolutely no evidence against him, and he will hide the knife where no one will find it. Unfortunately, Billie finds Franco before he can do so. She would like to leave the island now. He is sorry that their 'special day' was ruined.

Bo hesitates to let Franco and Billie leave, but Abe says they should go since they need to wait for the coroner. Abe respects Bo's gut feelings, but there is no hard evidence against Franco. Billie looks at the body once again before leaving, and announces that she recognizes him. She saw him on the phone at Salem Place, and he wrote something. Abe finds no paper on the body, but finds a phone number written in his hand. It's for the Brady Pub. Bo glares at Franco and asks if this man was trying to reach him.

10/17 After finding the phone number of the Brady Pub on the dead body, Bo pays Franco another visit [they haven't actually left the island yet.] This time, Bo is more aggressive when it comes to getting Franco to give him an explanation. Franco defends himself, swearing that he is no killer. Again Bo is not convinced, and he's not about to let Franco off the hook until he gets some answers. Billie and Hope arrive on the scene, and they continue to insist that Franco is innocent. Bo gets angry, and it's not long before the three of them are arguing about Franco. They have no idea that Franco has the murder weapon. Franco excuses himself to take a walk, and uses the opportunity to rid himself of the knife. He tosses it into the water.

Meanwhile, Bo stands by his belief that Franco is the number one suspect. Though there is no hard evidence now, forensics will pick up on the slightest clues left behind. Hope catches up with Franco and apologizes for Bo's behavior, but Franco says he knows Bo is only trying to do his job. He casually plants the idea in Hope's mind that perhaps Bo is so upset because he still has feelings for Billie. He also mentions this to Billie, who insists that she and Bo are just friends now, but privately wonders if since Franco noticed, maybe Hope has noticed also.

Back in Salem, Abe listens to Bo and Hope's arguments for and against Franco as a suspect. Both have valid points, and Abe tells Hope he's going to assign her part-time to the case. Franco is confident that Hope will help to clear him, and then gets disturbing orders from his boss. Franco then disguises himself and gains access to the morgue, where he uncovers Andre's body and hopes he doesn't get caught before he makes sure no one finds out who the killer is.

10/18 As the medical examiner calls Abe that he is ready to perform the autopsy on Andre, Franco is in the morgue disguised as a coroner and is placing the blue contacts into Andre's eyes. Bo, Hope, and Abe arrive as Franco is inside. As they talk with the coroner Franco is discovered inside by a a woman who works at the morgue. She is about to call security but Franco convinces her he is the new intern Hal Green and she doesn't call security.

Bo, Hope, Abe, and the coroner go into the room to begin the autopsy and the coroner asks Franco to assist him with the autopsy but Franco manages to slip out without anyone noticing. The coroner discovers that Andre has had some dental work done with techniques that are common in Europe. Bo thinks he has his link between Andre and Franco, however the coroner then discovers the blue contacts that Franco placed in Andre's eyes. Abe receives a call IDing the man as Andre Somer. They learn that he had been in prison in Paris for 3 years and busted out October 8th, meaning he could not have been Jill's attacker.

Bo comes up with proof that he believes will catch the true murderer and Jill's attacker. Bo discovers the contacts in Andre's eyes and hypothesizes that Jill's attacker killed Andre and placed the contacts in him to throw them off track. Bo tells Abe he knows someone who had vibrant blue eyes, Franco.

10/21 Bo has come up with a plan to prove Franco is the man who killed Andre and attacked Jill. Bo and Hope go to see Jill and Bo explains to her he believes her attacker wore blue contacts and that he is planning a lineup of men all wearing blue contacts and wants to know if she will try and ID her attacker, which she agrees to. Bo and Hope then leave to go find Franco. Franco is still with Billie and spots Bo and Hope before they see him. Franco begins to kiss Billie and when Bo spots Franco and Billie kissing he becomes tense making Hope worry. They approach Franco and Bo asks him if he will wear blue contacts and stand in a line up and Franco tells him that he will not.

10/22 Franco tells Bo that he can't be in the lineup because contacts irritate his eyes. He says he wears them for work, and in fact that he was wearing them for a shoot the other night which is how he explains why Bo saw him with blue eyes the other night. Bo proposes that Franco only has to wear the contacts for 1 minuet and that a doctor will be standing by to treat his eyes afterwards and Franco agrees. Bo asks him to do it immediately and Franco is okay with it but he needs to make a phone call to rearrange his schedule. Franco calls his boss and Bo catches him on the phone but Franco gets his way out of it by pretending he's talking with his model agency.

Later at the station, Abe informs Bo that Hope is feeling neglected because of this case and that she feels that the only reason that he is after Franco is because he is dating Billie. At the pub Hope admits to Caroline that she is disappointed that Bo is paying to much attention to the case and not the wedding. She tells Caroline the case is special because Billie is involved. Unknown to Hope, Billie walked in the pub just as Hope said that and becomes worried.Franco shows up at Jill's apartment.

10/23 At the station, Bo and Hope get into an argument because Bo has not had the tuxedos fitted for the wedding. As they argue Jill calls the station to tell them she will not be coming in for the lineup. Everyone goes to Jill's place where a note on the door explains that she had been lying about the attacks because it was her ex-boyfriend and she was embarrassed to say so.

As Franco and Billie are shopping for nightgowns for Hope, Billie becomes upset because she remembers picking out hers. Franco mumbles that Billie need not worry because Hope will never get to wear hers because their won't be a wedding night.

10/25 Hope, Bo, and Shawn D. take a walk in the park and Bo asks Shawn D. to be his best man. On their walk they see Billie and Franco kissing in the park and Bo still can't shake the feeling Franco is no good. They meet up and invite them to an engagement party the force is throwing for them but Billie says they already have plans. Later Shawn D. asks Bo if it bothered him to see Billie kissing Franco but before Bo can say anything Hope whisks him away. Back at the boat Bo tells Shawn D. that they shouldn't talk to about Billie around Hope because it upsets her.

Shawn D. runs into Franco as he is riding his bike to his Grandparents and they talk about Hope and how she is upset with all the reminders of Billie, especially some old videotapes. Shawn D. says he is going to tape over them but Franco suggests he give them to someone who might want them, and Shawn D. says he will give them to Billie. Soon after Shawn D. drops them off Franco comes over and sits down to watch the tapes with Billie (who does not know what is on them). Billie becomes upset over the tapes and decides to just go to bed but after Franco leaves Billie continues to watch the tapes.

At the party, Bo learns from another cop who saw Jill this morning and said she looked like she had been beat up again.

10/28 At the party for Bo and Hope one of the cops informs Bo that she saw Jill this morning, and she was beaten pretty badly. The cop says that she was lying about her ex-boyfriend because her ex moved away two years ago. Bo can't accuse Franco without solid proof, and he can't get re-involved in the case without upsetting Hope. Later Bo and Hope do the Macarena at the party with all their guests. Hope is than taken aside to open presents with the girls and Bo ponders whether to get re-involved with Jill's case.

Billie continues to watch the video's of her and Bo together, happy and in love. Franco has a chat with his boss (on the phone) outside of Billies apartment. He tells his boss that everything is set, and that Bo may be in love with two women, but after tonight he will have none. As Billie continues to watch the tape Franco calls the police and claims to have seen an intruder enter her apartment.

The cops at the party get news of the break in attempt and report it to Bo. Most of the cops there are drunk so Bo takes the call. Since Hope is busy with the girls Bo decides to leave a message with one of the guests and runs to Billie's. Bo enters the apartment to find Billie asleep on the couch and the tapes of them together still playing. Later when Hope hears the report she also goes to Billie's and finds Bo already there comforting a sleeping Billie.

10/29 Hope sees Bo at Billies apartment gently stroking her hair and talking to her apologizing for hurting her. Hope comes in and Billie wakes up, but pretends to be asleep. Bo wants to explain what happened but Hope asks how he can explain the look on his face? He explains to her the situation when he arrived and that he tells her that he came because he thought Franco was going to attack Billie which Hope is even more upset about. Bo tells her there is new information placing suspicion back on Franco. Hope says this isn't about Franco it's about his feelings for Billie which are still there. Hope leaves to have some time alone and Bo goes back into the apartment and wonders if Hope is right about his feelings for Billie.

After Bo leaves Franco shows up and Billie tells him what happened. She begins to cry and feels guilty. After Franco leaves she continues to watch the tapes. At the boat Hope tells Bo that before they move on with the wedding plans he has a lot more thinking to do.

DVD #28B 10/31 Bo runs into Billie in the park who explains that Shawn D brought her the tapes and that she never should have watched them. Later Shawn D. tells Bo what he did and that he didn't think it was wrong and neither did Franco. This news infuriates Bo who goes back to the boat. Meanwhile Hope is taking a walk when she runs into Franco. They talk about what happened (he says Billie told him) and asks her if she is going to stop the wedding. Hope is shocked at the suggestion because the idea never occurred to her.

Franco walks hope back to the boat and when they arrive Bo punches Franco. When he tells Hope that Franco told Shawn D. to give the tapes to Billie Shawn D. comes up from the boat and says that it was all Shawn D.'s idea to give the tapes to Billie. Bo apologizes and Franco accuses Bo of being jealous because he still has feelings for Billie and doesn't want to see her with another man. After Franco leaves Hope thinks what Franco said is right, and she asks Bo if he still loves Billie. Bo says Billie is the past, you are my future. Hope becomes upset because all Bo had to say was "no" but he couldn't. She says until she is sure she is the only one in his heart there won't be a wedding.

11/1 Hope wants to call off the wedding. She tells Bo that she loves him with all her heart and has no doubts, but she doesn't think Bo loves her with all his heart and asks him to try and prove he is no longer in love with Billie. Bo tells Hope he did love Billie, and that when he saw Billie watching those tapes he felt sad that he was the cause of her pain. Hope says she saw more than sadness on his face and asks him if he is engaged to the right woman. Bo tells her of course he is engaged to the right person and Hope just wondered because of how long it took Bo to return to her when she realized she was Hope. He says his love for her was buried away and he couldn't see it but Billie could. Hope says that as long as Billie is upset by Billie being with Franco or any other man she can't marry him.

Billie and Franco drop by the boat to tell them that Franco is leaving Salem which Bo is delighted to hear. After the two of them leave, Bo gets down on his knees and asks Hope to marry him which she happily accepts. Bo has guards at the airport watching to make sure Franco gets on the plane. Franco phones his boss and assures him the guards will be convinced that he has gotten on the plane for New York.

11/4 At the party, Billie puts up a brave front for Bo and Hope but Kate sees through it. Bo calls the detective who has followed Franco to the airport and he is relieved to hear that Franco has boarded the flight to New York. As soon as Bo's man leaves the airport, Franco pops out of the boarding tunnel and makes his way to the party at the Horton’s.

11/5 Hope plans to throw her bouquet to Carrie tomorrow, but Carrie still thinks Sami will get between them. Carrie doesn't want to drag Bo and Hope into the argument between her and Sami so Carrie pulls out of the wedding.

Mike and Mrs. Horton were planning a surprise show for Bo and Hope but they find slides of Bo and Billie among the ones they were going to show and remove them. When Mike and Mrs. Horton leave to watch Bo cut the cake Franco gets in and switches the slides around. As the slides are shown the ones of Bo and Billie come up and the party comes to a halt. Hope brushes it aside and says she is secure about Bo's love for her and the party continues. Kate finds Billie and threatens to tell Bo that she still loves him but Billie says she will never forgive Kate if she does.

11/6 Billie is looking through a chest in her apartment when she comes upon all her old wedding mementos and can't help but remember her own wedding.

Meanwhile, Bo and Hope are busy preparing for their own wedding. Hope goes to her grandmothers where a surprise shower is waiting for her including a complete make-over. Bo is running around town trying to get in last minuet errands. He stops buy a florists to have a bouquet delivered to Hope with a card but Franco switches the envelopes after Bo leaves and the flowers are delivered to Billie. Billie becomes upset and heads out to Salem Place where she overhears Bo tell Abe that he loves Hope more now than ever. Bo tells Abe about Jill and to keep an eye out for her.

Mrs. Horton sees Billie and takes her aside. She tells her she knows she still loves Bo and Billie tells her she has tried to forget but she can't. Once the wedding is over she is going back to Paris and throw her life into her work. She asks Mrs. Horton if she could go to Smith Island and Mrs Horton lets her but is hesitant because the phone doesn't work. Franco overhears this and calls his boss about this great opportunity.

Earlier Bo called the hotel and Franco has checked in but he has a do not disturb on his phone. Bo think's Billie is safe, but she's not. He also goes over the case file one last time to see if he missed anything. Franco finds Jill on the docks and grabs her. He tells her he's not done with her yet.

11/7 Bo leaves the station to pick up his gift for Hope and heads over to Mrs. Horton's house. Jack meets up with Bo at Salem Place. Back at the boat, Jack tells Bo he fears Peter will kidnap Jen. Bo tells him if he finds something out about Peter to call him because it could be dangerous. Bo leaves and Mrs. Horton calls the boat but Jack answers. She asks him to call out to the island on Bo's radio to make sure she is all right.

Laura and Jen come over to see Hope and Julie (who now has short blond hair) and Doug arrive home as a surprise. Mrs. Horton gives Hope her mother's earrings which Hope wore on her first wedding day in London, which Bo returned to her when he believed Hope was dead. Out back, Shawn D has prepared a special dinner for Hope and Bo and they toast each other and their lives together. Bo gives Hope her present, a music box that plays "Embraceable" (No clue if that is the songs title or who sings it). After they dance, Bo leaves her until tomorrow.

Billie is at the Horton cabin and continue's to watch the old tapes of her and Bo. On the docks Franco has beat up Jill and as she is lying unconscious on the docks. Franco makes his way to Smith Island where Billie is. Jack radio's Billie on the Island and she says she will be okay once the wedding is over and she can leave Salem. Outside the cabin Franco finds a knife in the dirt and picks it up. Billies leaves to go on a walk and Franco enters the cabin and turns the radio on in hope of running the battery out.

On his way home Bo runs into Jill on the docks and she's been beat up. He asks her to look at some pictures of his prime suspect but she is too frightened and runs away. Bo returns to the station and calls the hotel in New York but he still has a do not disturb on his phone but they tell him he is in the room and has ordered room service.

11/8 Shawn D is nervous about the wedding and tells Hope he is afraid something may ruin it. Hope tells Shawn D that they are going to be married tomorrow. She tells him it's understandable why he has these doubts but nothing will go wrong. Later Doug gives Hope a talk about how he hopes she'll be happy with Bo. They talk about Billie for a little bit and Hope tells him that she really respects Billie for giving up the man she loves so her and Bo can be happy. She also says that she realizes Bo and Billie have a past but that she truly believes Billie is out of his heart now. Before going to bed, Julie wishes Hope well and how she wishes her grandfather could be here to see the wedding. Mrs. Horton drops in to check on Hope while she is sleeping and prays that the wedding goes smoothly.

Bo calls Jill and tells her he must speak with her tonight about her attacker. Jill is afraid to ID her attacker but Bo promises her they will catch this guy and then she can live without fear. Jill agrees to meet him at his boat so he hurry's over there, but before leaving the station he calls Franco's room one more time with no luck.

At the boat, Jill tells Bo that this attack was worse than the others and this time he talked. She says he had a European accent and that he said that there is another woman he met far away who had recently came to Salem but that no matter what he did she would not love him. Bo says "it's Billie" and Jill tells him if he knows this woman that he should warn her because he said that he said he was going to make her pay. Bo asks her what else he said and Jill says that he told her the woman was vulnerable tonight because she would be alone in a secluded place. Bo calls her place like Jill suggests but gets no answer. He calls around and learns from Jack that Billie went to the Smith Island. Bo tries every way possible to get somebody to check up on Billie but nobody can go unless he's positive it's an emergency. Jill tells him he has time to go out and he tells her that he won't get any sleep if he doesn't check on Billie so he decides to go out to the island.

Billie wakes up to find Franco standing over her and jumps. Franco tells her that he forgot his Italian passport and needed to come back to pick it up because it would have taken a few days to get a new one. He says he stopped by her apartment but the super told him Billie was out on the island so he rented a boat to come out and see her. Billie asks why he went to all this trouble just to see her and he says it's because he knows the wedding is tomorrow and she is hurting. Billie thanks him for caring but that she can't offer him anything more than her friendship right now.

Billie wants to go back to Salem but Franco encourages her to stay so he can cook her his world famous Parmesan chicken and Billie agrees to stay until after dinner. As they go to eat dinner, Billie recalls having dinner with Bo out at the cabin. Franco continues to stall Billie but she really wants to go back to Salem. He tells her he needs to be with her tonight and begins to kiss her. Billie stops him and he stares at her evilly. As Bo arrives on the Island he hears Billie scream.

11/11 Hope has nightmares of being left at the church all alone and Doug comforts her by telling her everything will be all right. Hope can't get back to sleep so she calls the boat and get's the answering machine. She leaves a long message for Bo about tomorrow and how she can't wait to get re-married.

Meanwhile Bo finds Franco hitting Billie and punches him and tells him he's going to jail. Bo accuses Franco of beating up Jill and coming here to kill Billie. Billie tells him that's not what Franco was doing. She explains that Franco was making Cherry Jubilee for dessert and she got to close to the fire and her napkin caught fire. She says Franco was just patting the flames out.

Bo says that Franco still beat up Jill and that Jill will swear to it in court. Franco accuses Bo of purposely trying to keep him away from Billie because he still loves her. Bo tells him he's wrong and Franco says if Bo arrests him he will have to go to the arraignment tomorrow instead of his wedding. Billie tries to convince Bo not to arrest Franco and while they talk Franco slips away and cut's Bo's boat free so Billie and Bo are stranded. Bo sleeps outside and the next morning tries to swim around and find his boat with out any luck. Bo returns to the island drenched and Billie takes him back to the cabin and they try and radio for help but the radio is dead. Hope wakes up and is happier than ever, because she thinks today is her wedding day.

11/12 Bo tries franticly to get off the island but can find no way off. He begins to blame Franco for all of this and Billie says it is her fault for coming back from Paris in the first place. Bo tells her not to blame herself, that Franco is using her but she refuses to believe Franco is anything but sweet and innocent. As they are talking they hear a helicopter overhead and try to signal it by making a fire but the helicopter doesn't see the smoke signal. Later Bo removes the battery from the flashlight and plugs it into the radio. There is just enough power to get the radio working and Bo makes contact with someone. Hope prepares for her wedding and sets off for the church, believing everything is okay.

11/13 Everyone gathers at the church for Bo and Hope's wedding but Bo has not shown up. Jennifer was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Lexie, Wendy, Sami. Hope had asked Carrie to be in the wedding party, but she declined because Sami was in it and she didn't want to cause a disruption on Hope's wedding day. Melissa, Kimberly, Marie, Doug & Julie came back to Salem for the wedding. Hope looked beautiful and the church was filled with friends and family who had gathered to see Bo and Hope's love renewed. Unfortunately, Bo's preoccupation with the mysterious Salem newcomer, Franco Kelly, set him off on a mission. Bo was convinced that Franco is a killer, and the man who assaulted at least one Salem woman.

When Hope gets word that Bo isn't there yet Julie, Jen, and Alice calm her down. Upon arriving at the church. Carrie visits Hope and tells her she plans to stay in the back of the church and hope Sami doesn't see her.

On the Island, Bo has decided to swim to Salem but Billie tells him the water is to cold and the undertow is to dangerous but he insists on going. Billie suggests she should swim back and deliver the message because Bo has not slept but he is determined to do it himself. Billie watches Bo through some binoculars and when she see's Bo stop she swims out after him. She tells him to return to the island with her and when she refuses to leave him he returns. When they make it back Bo is hypothermic. Billie takes him into the cabin by the fire and she undresses him and herself and snuggles with him to keep him warm.

Back at the church, everyone is in a state of panic that both Bo and Billie are nowhere to be found, but Hope has not been told about the seriousness of the situation. Franco shows up claiming to be there to wish Hope well and when they tell him Bo is not there he acts like he knows something. When Shawn tells him to speak up if he has any information Franco tells them all what happened at the cabin last night. Kristen goes up to Hopes room to tell her everything but before she can Hope hears Franco in the hall talking about Bo. Hope rushes into the hall and asks Franco about Bo. When he tells her what happened they go off to Smith Island together to see if Bo is still there. When they arrive Hope finds Bo and Hope together under a blanket by the fire.

11/14 Hope walks into the cabin to find Bo and Billie sleeping together in front of the fire naked and under a blanket. Franco wants Hope to leave but she wants an explanation and wakes Bo up. Bo tells her she looks like an angel and he then notices Billie. He tells her he doesn't know what's going on and Hope says not to make a fool out of her. Hope runs out of the cabin and Bo follows her and finds Franco. Bo tries explain but Hope says Bo threw it all away, and she thought something had happened to him.

Billie wakes up and hears them arguing outside. Hope tells Bo he betrayed her and walks off. Bo tells her nothing went on and begs her to return to the church and marry him, but Hope can't forget what she saw. Bo tries to tell her why he came to the island but Hope says he's using Jill as an excuse for what she just saw. Hope asks Franco to take him home and Franco says once they get back to Salem he is turning himself into Commander Carver to prove that Bo's accusation are lies. Billie tells Bo she is sorry and Bo says that this is Franco's fault and that he will prove it and get Hope back.

11/15 Franco drives Hope home and she is in awe. Back at the cabin Billie explains to Bo why they were together like that and Bo tells Billie he put Hope through hell and that he has to find her and explain that this was a big mistake. Billie says she should have just stayed in Paris and Bo tells her that they have both been manipulated. Billie says "by Franco" and Bo says when this is all over he is going to make that bastard pay. Later Bo asks Billie why she came out to the island and she said to get away. She tells him Franco didn't come with her, that he just surprised her. She says she was planning to go to the wedding and she does want him and Hope to be happy. Bo tells her that he realizes her feelings toward him and that she gave up a lot going to Paris. He tells her he did love her but Billie says "Not the way you loved Hope" and that's why she left. The boat finally arrives and Billie and Bo get back to the mainland.

On the way home Franco tells Hope that he believes Bo has been so angry towards him because he is still in love with Billie. Hope thanks him for his honesty and his friendship. At the wedding everyone begins speculating about Bo and Billie and what could have gone on at the island. Hope arrives at the church with Franco and tells the guests the wedding is off. She then tells them that she found Bo and Billie together at the cabin and then runs off it tears.

Bo and Billie arrive at the church to learn Hope has left and called off the wedding. He tells them that they didn't sleep together and must find Hope.

Franco brings Hope back to Alice's house where the reception has been set up. Franco suggests he take her elsewhere but she says she wants to be alone and Franco goes. Hope remembers all the good times she shared with Bo and Shawn D runs in and hugs Hope and says "How could dad do that". Hope tells him she's sorry she broke her promise that nothing would go wrong but Bo comes in and says he broke the promise, not her. Shawn D goes upstairs and Bo says he will explain everything and this whole nightmare will be over and they can get married.

11/18 Bo begs Hope to listen to his story. When she finally agrees to hear what he has to say he tells her everything about the attempted swim back and Billie putting him in front of the fire. Hope doesn't understand why he had to go to the island and Bo says the coast guard wouldn't go and he couldn't find Abe. He honestly thought Franco was going to kill Billie. Hope asks if he was there to stop a murder, or to stop Franco from making love to Billie. Bo says that Franco is dangerous and if she heard Jill's statement she'd believe him.

Hope asks if Jill ID'd him and Bo says no. Hope tells him everything he has is circumstantial. Hope tells Bo if he can prove Franco is really this horrible person she will forget what she saw at the cabin and believe him. Bo thanks her and says he will go over to get Jill and have him ID Franco in person. Franco, who is outside the window, overhears this and rushes to Jill's place. She asks what he's doing here and he says they both have to get out of town fast cause Bo is coming over. Little do they know Bo is already there, in fact he's about to knock on the door!

Billie goes home and dreams that Bo calls off the wedding and tells Billie he loves her and wants her back. Billie then wakes up crying.

11/19 Franco tells Jill that they have to get out of the apartment before Bo shows up but Jill says she is to sick to go anywhere. Bo shows up and starts pounding on the door. Jill and Franco stay very still and eventually Bo walks away but Jill accidentally knocks over a table. Bo hears it and thinks something is wrong. He breaks down the door but when he gets in nobody is there and the window is open. He looks outside and sees Franco dragging Jill through the rain and jumps out after them.

Franco and Jill make it to the docks and she says she can't go anymore. Franco becomes mean but when she refuses to go on he leaves her under the stairs at the docks and tells her he will get a car, but she better be there when he returns. Franco walks off and is caught by Bo who demands to know where Jill is. Meanwhile Jill decides not to wait for Franco any longer and gets up to leave but passes out on the docks.

Hope has a chat with Alice about the situation she's in with Bo and doesn't know what to do. Alice tells her that Bo and her were meant to be together and everything will work out. Alice leaves and as Hope is about to go to bed there is a knock at the door, it's Billie.

Billie says Alice let her in because she needed to talk with Hope. Billie tells Hope everything that happened and Hope says that's what Bo told her. Billie asks if she believed him and Hope says she doesn't know. Billie tells Hope that Bo loves her more than anything and almost died trying to keep his promise to marry her. Billie tells Hope if she still loves him to go to him and marry him but Hope says she doesn't know if she can. Hope says that she realizes now that Billie is in Bo's heart as well, and she won't share Bo's heart with anyone. Billie says it's not true and Hope brings up Franco.

Billie tells Hope why Franco was there and that Bo came because he thought she was in danger and he wanted to help her as a friend. Hope says that may be true, but that maybe, just maybe Bo was there because he couldn't face the fact that she was over him and was with another man. Hope says she has put up with this Franco dilemma for months now and that she even promised she'd marry Bo if he can prove Franco is this horrible man he believes him to be. Billie asks Hope if she believes Franco could be this person and Hope says no, and that it's over between her and Bo. Just then the phone rings, it's Bo and he tells Hope he is at the station with Franco and tells her to come on down.
