Luis orders Sheridan to get in his car, but Sheridan refuses and stalks off. The hitman fires a shot from his silencer and Sheridan screams, falling to the ground. Luis rushes over to Sheridan, who explains a tree branch fell on her. Luis examines the branch and suspects a bullet sliced it off the tree. Luis looks around for a shooter while Sheridan remains skeptical. Luis forces Sheridan to race through the woods to hide from the hitman. An angry Sheridan refuses to believe anyone is after them. Luis and Sheridan make it to Luis' car, but the hitman is right behind them.
On the prom boat, TC catches a drugged Julian coming on to Eve. An enraged TC repeatedly punches Julian in the face, while Eve fears he will kill Julian. Eve finally gets TC to calm down when she lies that Julian accidentally fell on her when the boat rocked.
Theresa tells Ethan she loves him. Ethan is stunned. A flustered Ethan tries to convince Theresa she's confused about her feelings. Theresa presses on and says she can sense he feels the same way. Meanwhile, a fiercely determined Gwen rows her way towards the prom boat. Theresa asks Ethan how he feels about her. Before he can answer, the boat rocks and Theresa falls into his arms. At that moment, Gwen arrives and is furious to find them in a compromising position.
Kay and Miguel search the prom boat for Charity, unaware she is already back on land. Under the influence of the evil pendant, Charity summons the forces of nature to bring destruction. A large gust of wind hits the prom boat. As the dark forces urge Charity to become evil, the storm begins to pick up intensity. Back on the boat, everyone begins to panic. Reese is perplexed when he realizes radar isn't picking up the storm. Tabitha smiles to herself, knowing the storm is Charity's doing. Gwen informs Miguel and Kay she saw Charity on the docks. Kay worries as Miguel takes off in a rowboat to find Charity.
Ivy makes several attempts to tell Sam her secret, but Sam brushes her off. Sam realizes Ivy has done something to Grace and forces her to take him to his wife. Meanwhile, Grace screams for help as water begins to fill the stateroom Ivy locked her in.

Sheridan struggles with the intruder in her bedroom. Sheridan manages to get the attacker off of her as Luis rushes in. Both are shocked to see the intruder is Hank. Hank tries to explain his actions.
Charity remains in a trance due to the pendant. When Miguel tries to help Charity, he is struck by lightning. The dark forces successfully ward off help from above. Meanwhile, everyone on the prom boat panics as the storm worsens. Huge waves rock the boat and Tabitha and Timmy are knocked overboard. Tabitha is distraught when she can't find Timmy. Timmy hitches a ride on a shark, thinking he's on a dolphin.
Theresa and Ethan manage to pull Gwen back up onto the boat deck. Despite the mounting chaos, Gwen demands to know what’s going on between Ethan and Theresa. Ethan is put on the spot when Gwen asks him if Theresa is in love with him
Sam, TC, and Eve work feverishly to get Grace out of the locked stateroom. The danger to Grace intensifies as the water in the stateroom rises higher and higher. Eve rips into Ivy for putting Grace's life at risk. Grace is finally rescued, and Ivy is stung by Sam and Grace's emotional reunion. Everyone on the boat is horrified when they realize the boat is sinking.

On the prom boat, Sam announces that everyone must abandon ship. TC, Eve, Grace, Jessica, Kay, and Simone board the last lifeboat while Sam stays behind to make sure everyone gets off safely. Meanwhile, Ivy phones Pilar and tells her to call for help. Theresa begs Ethan to kiss her just as Gwen approaches and demands to know what is going on. Sam orders the threesome to get off the boat, just as a giant wall of water washes everyone overboard. Sam makes it to his family's lifeboat, but worries about a missing Ivy. Ivy spots the lifeboat and cries for help, but no one hears her. In the water, Ethan finds Gwen, but leaves her to rescue a drowning Theresa. Ethan's actions anger Gwen and lead Theresa to believe he has chosen her.
Chad is pulled underwater, and Whitney begins to cry when she can't find him. Chad finally resurfaces. He gets Whitney to admit he was right about her hiding her feelings. Whitney suddenly cries out in pain.
At Sheridan's cottage, Hank is instructed to kill Sheridan or else. As he pulls his gun, Pilar arrives, worried about the situation on the prom boat. Sheridan tells a reluctant Hank she is going with Pilar to wait at the docks. Meanwhile, Luis attempts to respond to the emergency call from the prom boat, but the harbormaster refuses to let him take the police boat. Luis knocks him out and takes off in Sam’s boat.
While wearing the evil pendant, Charity strangles Miguel. Father Lonigan arrives at the docks to fight evil and manages to remove the pendant from her neck. However, Tabitha gloats since Miguel appears to be dead.

As Sheridan and Pilar worry about the victims of the prom boat, Les tells Hank he must kill Sheridan to cover his debts or be killed himself. Hank offers to help with the rescue, but Pilar tells him he must honor Luis' wishes and see to Sheridan’s well being, not realizing the irony of her words. When Luis returns, he thanks Hank for watching Sheridan but is secretly jealous of their time together.
Theresa’s feelings for Ethan are nearly detected when Luis catches Theresa staring at him. Later, Theresa is elated, and Gwen disturbed when Theresa is the only one who can comfort Ethan about Ivy being lost at sea. Rebecca is shocked to learn Ethan chose to rescue Theresa instead of Gwen and calls Theresa on her intentions regarding Ethan.
Tabitha and Timmy gleefully await “Evil" Charity’s reaction to her family and friends, but without the pendant, she is back to her old self. Charity is concerned when she can’t remember how she got off of the prom boat. Kay and Simone are thankful she doesn’t realize their part in her humiliation at the prom. Kay tells a shocked Simone she is rethinking her plan to break up Charity and Miguel. However, she later comes upon the evil pendant.
As everyone worries about Sam and Ivy, Sam finds her floating alone in the water. Dazed from a blow to the head, Ivy thinks Sam has come to declare his love. As Sam attempts to keep them afloat, a semi-conscious Ivy suddenly begins to tell Sam her secret.

Charity is upset to learn she choked Miguel. Miguel assures her she was in shock and didn’t know what she was doing. Later, Tabitha volunteers to take the kids home and supervise them so she can keep an eye on any new developments. Meanwhile, the evil pendant causes Kay to recommit to winning Miguel by driving Charity crazy.
Ivy tells Sam Ethan is his son. But before Sam can question Ivy on her bombshell, Luis and Ethan rescue them. Later, Ethan blasts Sam for failing to prevent the prom boat disaster. Luis comes to Sam's defense and nearly comes to blows with Ethan before Sam intercedes. Luis is shocked as Sam defends Ethan. A weak Ivy demands Ethan talk to Sam with respect and almost reveals her secret.
Theresa declares to a disbelieving Pilar and Whitney that she will never give up on Ethan. Rebecca tells Gwen Theresa should no longer be involved with the wedding and then confronts Theresa about her actions regarding Ethan. Rebecca begins to get rough with Theresa, grabbing her by the shoulders. An angry Pilar tells Rebecca to back off and warns her to never lay a hand on her daughter again, or she will be sorry. Later, Pilar and Whitney are shocked when Theresa expertly lies to a suspicious Gwen about her feelings for Ethan. Theresa then announces she has come up with a new tactic to win Ethan’s love.
