Galen Gering plays Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald, the ruggedly handsome and volatile oldest son of Pilar, the Cranes housekeeper. He is a determined and valuable part of the Harmony Police Force. Luis, is a total ladies man who harbors resentment towards the upper class, particularly the Crane family because of the mysterious disappearence of his father 10 years before.
With the return of the beautiful Sheridan Crane to the peaceful town of Harmony, Luis' outlook on his father disappearence changed somewhat over time. After their initial crash meeting, well crash meetings, he saw a different side of the Crane family. When Sheridan spent the night in jail, Luis comforted her when she had a nightmare, one of his softer moments, until she realized what she was doing and he became angry again.
After Sheridan went with Luis to New Mexico, for his mothers sake, to help him find Martin, they had a few close (and nearky unclothed) encounters. Luis saved Sheridan from drowning, and saved her again on New Years eve instead of the man he thought was his father.
A native of Los Angeles, Gering graduated from the University of Miami this past May, with honors. While pursuing his education in film and creative writing, he began modeling, and has appeared in over 50 national commercials. Gering was recently featured in two independent films, "Road Trip" and "Pistol Whipped". His role on "Passions" is his first television series appearance.
His hobbies include making films, writing and Pro-Am beach volleyball. His birthday is February 13 {A day after mine! ;)}
