Chapter 1:
Luis is punching the punching bag, when Teresa walks in.
"Luis".........."Luis!"
"Oh sorry Teresa I didn't hear you"
"Whats wrong Luis? I haven't seen you this mad since, well since you 1st met Sheridan. Is this about Sheridan?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Because she's out there crying."
"Theresa, what are you talking about?"
"Sheridan is crying, I was getting ready to walk in here when I heard someone crying, I walked closer to the person and found Sheridan, so I asked her what was wrong"
"What did she say Teresa? Please tell me what did she say?"
"She jumped back, and said I'm sorry then left"
"Sorry for what?"
"I don't Luis, she just said that, and then got in her car. She still might be there"
"No nevermind, forget it, forget I ever said anything about it, and her."
"What do you mean Luis? I like Sheridan she's a ni ceperson!"
"No she's not a nice person, and she deserved all those guy's who used her."
"Luis, how dare you say those things!"
"Theresa you don't know the Sheridan I just talked to."
"So you made her cry Luis?"
"No, I mean Maybe, I mean uhhhhhhhh." He hit the punching bag again.
"Look Luis I'm sorry, I'm going to leave"
"Fine! Oh but Teresa don't say anything to mama,PLEASE!"
"Ok fine I won't, bye" Teresa left her brother there in confuion, confusion about Sheridan, and confusion about what he was gonnasay to mama.
As Teresa was walking out of the Youth Center, she saw Sheridan with her head on her stirring wheel, and tears streaming down her face. "Poor Sheridan, my brother can be such a Jack-Ass!"
Sheridan lifted her and was getting ready to turn on her car when she saw Teresa out of the corner of her eye. "Shit, shit, shit, Teresa is gonna tell her brother that I'm crying, and then he'll know that he got me good! I'll make up something about why I'm crying" She rolled down her window.
"Hi theresa" Sheridan said trying to smile.
"Hi sheridan, are you ok?"
"Yeah I ah, I uh, shut my hand in the door, do you wanna go to the Book Cafe with me and get some coffee?"
"Sure I'd love to, are sure your ok?"
"Yeah I'm ok. Get in" They were driving to the Book Cafe and Teresa could tell she didn't shut her hand in the door, because tears were still coming, and she looked as if her hearthad just been crushed.
"2 coffee's please," said Sheridan, "So Teresa how's life?"
"Could be better, you?"
"Could be a lot better, everything seem's to perk up, then fall right back down. But the hell with our problems how's school?"
"It's great, I have to make this dress for this really stupid class, but since I get to design it's gonna be great!"
"Tell me about your dress", said Sheridan, this talking was taking what Luis has said off her mind.
"Well, I'm almost finished drawing it, but it's long and strapless, I haven't picked out the color yet but it's simple, yet very elegant!"
"Sounds great, I want to be one of the 1st to see it when your done."
"You and Luis, he loves it when I actully do something instead of sit and daydream, but he's always so impressed with what I can do!" Just the mention of Luis's name brought tears to Sheridan's eyes.
"Sounds like you've got it made, Teresa"
"Are you ok Sheridan? you have tears in your eyes again."
"Oh, Teresa I'm sorry. I'm gonna have to cut this short, I just don't feel to great right now"
"Thats ok sheridan, don't worry about it, you probably have more important things to do"
"It's not that theresa, I'm not trying to blow you off or anything, I just to be alone for a while, do you want me to take you home?"
"No I can walk"
"Don't be silly Theresa I'll run you home, anyway, I wanna see your drawing of that dress"
"Good" Teresa said with a great big smile on her face, "you'll love this dress, maybe you can help me pick out the color."
"Ok, let's go" When they got there Sheridan was looking around to see if Luis's jeep was there.
"No Luis isn't here," Teresa said,
"I was, I mean, I just, nevermind let's go in"
"Ok let's go in Sheridan"
They went inside, and Sheridan was looking at Teresa design,
"Oh Teresa, this is beautiful!"
"Your not just saying that?"
"No I love it! I'm not a fashion designer or anything, but I think this magnificent! Show this to Ivy and see what she thinks."
Luis had just come home and had came in through the kitchen, he heard voices and paused to see who it was.
"Really! You really like it?"
"I'm serious Teresa, you have a true talent, you area very lucky girl"
"Oh Sheridan Thank-you, but I shouldn't get my hopes up, Luis would never let me......."
"Teresa this is your dream! If Luis really loves you, which we know he does, he won't care."
"Thank-you Sheridan, thank-you!" Teresa hugs Sheridan. Theresa goes into the kitchen to grab the the phone when it rings.
"Hello? Hello? stupid people!"
"Theresa"
"who said that?"
"Teresa, it's me Luis"
"Luis, what are you doing?"
"I heard people talking then I relized it was Sheridan and you, I didn't know what to do so I just sorta waited here until she left"
"Why don't you just go talk to her Luis?"
"Because she's mad at me, for what reason I do not know, and she'll scream at me if I try to talk to her."
"Theresa are you ok in there?" Yelled Sheridan.
"Yeah be right out"
"Luis just go in there"
"No Teresa you don't get it Sherdan hates me and I, I, I don't like her either!"
"Luis Please!!!"
"Teresa are you alright?" Sheridan saw Luis and turned around to leave.
"Sheridan wait" said Luis.
"Wait for what Luis? What you said on the dock really hurt, I mean, I mean uhhh, JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!Please!" She had tears in her eyes and couldn't find her coat, "WHere is my coat?" she yelled.
"What do you mean what I said on the dock?"
"I think I'll be going up stairs now," said Teresa.
"Nothing Luis, nothing"
"No Sheridan I want to know what you are talking about, and I want to know now," He yelled.
Sheridan flinched, she was not sure what to say there was a long pause, and Luis took a step closer to her,they were 2 ft. apart.
"Sheridan, don't hit me but I want to know what I did to make you feel so terrible at the dock, even though I didn't say anything wrong"
That last remark through Sheridan over the edge, her tears were coming harder, but not enough to make her brake down sobbing.
"You didn't do anything? You didn't do anything?! I hate you Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald, I hate you so much, and I never want to see or hear you ever again!" Sheridan started to walk out the door when Luis grabbed her arm.
"Sheridan"
"Don't touch me," she screamed and pulled away,
"Why, Why? What the F*** did I ever do to you?" She pulled her arm back like she was going to hit him again and Luis grabbed her.
"Sheridan, stop it, tell me what I did! and I'll let you go. Sheridan was shaking trying to get free, but no matter what she tried Luis grip got tighter "Sheridan, I'm stronger than you I hold on to you all night if I have to, tell me now what I did!"
"Fine, but let me go first, your hurting me Luis, your hurting me" Sheridan said all sympathetic.
"Oh sheridan I'm sorry!" As soon as he put her down she ran for the door, pulling a chair down behind her so he would trip.
"Sheridan help me I think I broke my arm!" He was sitting on his knee's holding his right arm
"I hope you know I still hate you," she said walking towards him" When she was about a foot away from him he said...
"Your not the only one who can act" He grabbed her by the waist and pulled her to the ground she was kicking and hitting, so he pinned her arms to the ground, and put his knee's on each side of her waist so she couldn't get free.
"Sheridan I'm gonna ask you one more time, and if you don't answer me I'm gonna call Ethan and ask him, because he knows everything about you!"
"Luis, why are you doing this to me?"
"Doing what?"
"Putting me through this!" Sheridan's eyes weld up with tears, and she turned her head to the side.
"Sheridan please don't cry."
"You said I was a spoiled princess, you said you were using me, and, and ,and, I HATE YOU!"
"Sheridan I never said............."
"Stop lying Luis, let me go!"
"NO sheridan, when did I say this? Where did I say this? and It wasn't me who said this!"
"Are you happy now, I told you why I am pissed, I acted like I didn't care, but I did care, I cared because I thought you were different than all those other guys, I thought that there could maybe be a chance for us, but your just like the others, and all you care about is yourself!" Sheridan started to wiggle and roll back and forth, but Luis wouldn't let go. He bent his head down and kissed her on the lips, Sheridan was trying to push him off her but he still had her wrists pinned down. She kneed him, and he fell to the side in pain.
"Oh god Sheridan"
"Don't ever touch me again" she said with tears streaming down her face.
Teresa walks down stairs to see if Sheridan is still there.
"Oh my god Luis! Are you all right?"
"Yeah, Yeah, just can't seem to breath"
"What happend? What did you do to Sheridan?"
"What did I do to Sheridan? Nothing!"
"Then why did she knee you?" "I, well I, I kinda..."
"Well come on what did you do?"
"I pinned her down on the floor, to find out what happened, oh and kissed her"
"What did she say when she left?"
"She said: Don't ever touch me again"
"Thats it?"
"Well she was crying pretty hard, but I don't think that means anything."
"You don't that means anything? You idiot! Come On Luis, she liked you a lot, and what ever you did to her...."
"I didn't do anythig!!!"
"OK, well whatever happened she was really hurt! When you kissed her she thought that you were still using her or something in the sort of deal! It all add's up!"
"What? Theresa I'm lost"
"Ok to make a long explanation short she thinks that you are just using her to get your way"
"But I'm not Teresa, I would never hurt Sheridan,well not on purpose!"
"Then tell her, don't let her interupt you or anything just come out and say it!"
Chapter 2:
Sheridan drove home in a rage, she felt as if she had been used and everything she had dreamed for herself had went up in smoke! As soon as she got home she ran to the couch, and began to cry even more. All of a sudden there was a loud knock at the door.
"Leave me alone" she yelled, not knowing who it was and not caring who it was either.
"Sheridan let me in Please!" yelled Luis, "Sheridan I really need to talk to you!"
Sheridan got up and walked closer to the door, but never opening it.
"What do you want," yelled Sheridan, "Oh let me guess, let's see you, could hurt my feelings even more, or with the force I've gotten today from you I wouldn't be suprised if you tried to rape me Officer!"
"Sheridan I would never mean to hurt you, at least not on purpose, and I'm telling you I never said anything about you being a "Spoiled Princess" or "using you" I'm serious Sher."
"Stop lying Luis, and for your information my name is SHERIDAN, as in Sheridan Crane, and to tell you the truth officer I think your on Crane property!"
"Sheridan Crane open this goddamn door right now!" yelled Luis, feeling as if he were ready to break down the door. Sheridan was taken back by his words, she had all of a sudden gotten scared, as if Luis was going to do something crazy, like bust down her door.
Chapter 3:
She walked to the door and almost opened it when she realized, 'He's just playing me for a fool, and I'm not gonna give in.'
"Go to Hell!" she yelled and started to walk into the kitchen when Luis through open her door, Sheridan jumped back fearing for what was to happen next.
"Sheridan I'm gonna ask you this simple question, and please don't yell at me until you hear me out"
"Luis I......"
"Shut-up Sheridan! I want to know word for word what happened, to make you so mad at me!"
"Because you said........"
"Sheridan I didn't say that though, and I want to know why you think I would?"
"Luis I was standing behind you, I was there, I heard you say it, why can't you just tell me the truth" she sobbed.
"Sherisdan I am telling you the truth. I didn't say anything to hurt you like that, Please don't cry!"
"Luis will you leave? I just really need to think, and your not helping me by lying!"
"Sheridan, But I'm not......."
"LeaVE!!" She screamed, choking on her own words.
"Fine bye", he said with his arms up in the air 10 min. After Luis left there was a knock at her door. 'What does he want now' she thought, feeling her self becoming very mad, "Oh Julian what to do want?"
"Is that anyway to talk to you brother, Sheridan?"
"Bite-Me Julian"
"Aren't we fiesty today, oh is this about the officer who broke your heart?"
"No"
"Well I was just wondering how my heart-broken sister was feeling after Luis called her a "Spoiled Princess"
"It's none of your concern Julian......How did you know that Luis and I are fighting?"
"I ah, Ummmmmm IVy told me"
"Ivy doesn't know Julian, tell me how you know and I want the truth!!!"
"I have not a clue what your talking about Sheridan" Julian said tying to act all innocent.
"You had something to do with this Julian didn't you?! And don't say you didn't because I know you want to keep us apart!"
All of a sudden the phone rang and Sheridan went to answer it. Julian ran out the door before she had a chance to tell him to stay put.
"HELLO" she almost yelled.
"Sheridan it's Hank, do you wanna go out tonight?"
"No, Hank I know you mean well, but to tell you the truth I really don't like you and I just want to be friends!" She hung up the phone before he had time to say anything. She went back into the living room to yell at Julian when she found he had left.
"Damn him" she yelled It was only 8:00 but Sheridan was ready for bed. As she was lying down she started to think about what had happened in the past week. Then she got stuck on that laugh had on the dock, it was a so not Luis' laugh. It was so deep, and almost evil. Then she got stuck on Luis not having a clue why she was mad, it was like he was a great actor, or he really didn't know. But everything seemed to point to Julian, how does he know all this she though? How does he know?
Chapter 4:
"Father, Sheridan knows something," said Julian.
"What did you say Julian?"
"Nothing, I just.........."
"You just what Julian? You probably gave it away and now Sheridan will tell Luis and she'll cry in his arms, and they'll say I'm sorry and........"
"I get it father, don't worry I'll figure something out!"
"Why can't they be together?" yelled Ivy coming in to the room, "Why?"
"Ivy you better leave now!"
"NO Julian let her stay, besides we need to talk Ivy dear, Julian Leave"
"What do you want Alistar?"
"Well, it was obvious that Julian couldn't hide anything, from anyone!"
"Yes, I know" said Ivy, "But that doesn't answer my question!"
"They can't be together, because, well because I don't want them to be" said Alistar then hung up the phone.
The next morning at the Lopez-Fitzgerald house...
"So Luis, you and Sheridan friends again?" asked Teresa.
"No we never were!" Luis said in a gruff voice back.
"She liked my dress"
"She was just saying that to make you feel good," said Luis, "She's a crane, be happy she didn't say she hated it!"
"Luis she liked it I know she did!" said Teresa with tears in her eyes. Then she ran up the stairs.
"Theresa I'm sorry, I didn't mean it!" she slammed her door and began to cry. 'As much as I hate to say it I think he's right' Theresa thought to herself, 'she probably hates it! All the Cranes must be terrible people!' Theresa was getting ready to walk down stairs when Pilar ran in the room.
"Teresa hurry and get dressed, Sheridan has a surprise for you, but she hasn't told me what it is so come on!"
"For me? I wonder what it could be?"
"I don't know but let's go find out"
When Pilar came downstairs Luis asked her were was she going going.
"Where are you and Teresa running off to Mama?"
"Sheridan's"
"Why she'll probably scream at you!"
"What?" asked Pilar confused.
"You heard me she's been really, really different lately"
"How so?" asked Pilar.
"She's just, not like she has been."
"I'll talk to you later Luis, Teresa and I need to go"
At Sheridan's house
"Ok Jack just sit down, and get comfortable they'll be here any minute!"
5 minutes later Teresa and Pilar pulled up.
"What is it Sheridan?" Pilar asked,
"Oh I have a surprise for Teresa, Teresa this is Jack Robbins."
"Hi," said Teresa confused.
"Teresa, you know when I was at your house yesterday, and you showed me your designs, and I told you I loved them!"
"Yeah," Teresa said becoming happy.
"Well I couldn't sleep last night so I called Jack about your designs and he would love to see them!"
"Really?" Theresa said with a huge smile on her face, "I didn't think you liked them!"
"What? I told you I did Teresa!" Sheridan said confused.
"Well I know but Luis said that you just said that to be..... oh never mind, but my drawings are at home!"
"Well I guess we could go over there?" suggested Jack.
"That would be fine!" said Pilar, "but let me call home first."
"Thank-you so much!" said Teresa hugging Sheridan.
"I was glad to" said Sheridan.
"Ok we're all set let's go" said Pilar.
Chapter 5:
When they get to the Lopez-Fitzgerald house it clicks to Sheridan that Luis just might be here. (They all rode in Jacks car)
"Ummmmm...maybe I should leave I would hate to be a bother" Sheridan said as everyone was getting out of the car.
"Nonsense, if it wasn't for you Teresa wouldn't have this chance, anyway I bet you can keep me company" said Pilar very happily. They walked into the house and Theresa ran upstairs to get her drawings.
"What was that all about Teresa?" asked Luis.
"Ohh Sheridan DID like my drawing, and called this guy, whose name I can't remember at the moment, to look at it, but I left it at home so everyone came here to see it" said Teresa.
"Sheridan's here? asked Luis.
"Yeah of course, but for some reason she didn't want to come in." said Teresa.
"Oh don't tell her I'm here ok?"
"Ok, sure, but why?"
"No reason," said Luis lying, "I just don't feel good"
"Yeah sure", said Teresa, "I know you two are still fighting, I'm not stupid, but I won't tell her"
"Thanks Theresa"
"Your welcome, I have to go down stairs now though."
Theresa walked down stairs and Pilar and Jack were talking, but Sheridan was just sitting there in the dark, looking very nervous.
"Sheridan said she liked this one, right Sheridan?" asked Teresa.
"Sheridan, SHERIDAN!!!!"
"What oh sorry, I'm in space what did you ask me?" At that moment Sheridans cell phone rang. 'Saved' she thought.
"I'm gonna go into the kitchen and answer this ok?"
"Sure" said Pilar not paying any attention.
"Hello?"
"Sheridan it's Ethan," he said sadly.
"What is it Ethan?"
"Sheridan I have some news, come home quick, Please!"
"Sure I'm on my way, did someone get hurt?"
Just come Sheridan" and with that he hung up the phone.
"I need to leave" Sheridan said walking through the kitchen doors.
"Why?" asked Pilar, "is something wrong?"
"I don't know but............Shoot, I didn't bring mycar, did I?"
"No, but we can drive you back"
"No Theresa has been waiting for this for her whole life"
"Luis can take you," suggested Pilar.
"No, thats alright," said Sheridan.
Before Sheridan could stop her Pilar yelled at Luis and he came to the top of the stairs.
"Yeah" he said, staring at Sheridan.
"Can you take Sheridan home she has to........"
"It's ok Pilar, I'll call a cab" said Sheridan, avoiding Luis's eye contact.
"NO I'll take you." said Luis, "anyway I think we need to talk." Luis began to walk down the stairs.
'Great' Sheridan thought.
Chapter 6:
Luis and Sheridan get into his car and pull out of the drive way.
"Sheridan I'm, well, I ah, I wanted to tell you thank you!"
"And what for?" asked Sheridan confused.
"For what you did for Teresa, she is so happy all her dreams are coming true."
"Oh. your welcome"
Minutes past without talking.
"So why do you have to get home?" Luis said trying to make small talk without her screaming, and crying.
"Ethan callled he said there was an emeregency, and I needed to get home"
"Do you want me to drop you off at your cottage, or at the Mansion?"
"Probably the Mansion"
When they get there Sheridan can't get the door open.
"This door is stuck Luis"
"Oh it gets jammed sometimes"
"So will you help me get it un-stuck?" asked Sheridan.
"Oh yeah, sure, I seem to be out of it" He undid his seat belt and reached over to help her, Luis accidentally touched her waist, and her hole body got stiff, at the sheer touch.
"Sorry, I didn't mean......"
"Don't worry about it" said Sheridan, her voice shaking.
"It's really jammed!" Luis said.
"Yeah it really is" agreed Sheridan, turning her head to face the window, because she knew she was turning red.
"There" he said as the door opened.
"Thank you, and thanks for driving me home"
"No problem," he said, "but do you...."
It was to late she had already slammed the door in his face.
Chapter 7:
"What was that for?!" yelled Luis, jumping out of the car.
"What was what for?" asked Sheridan, knowing what he meant.
"Why did you slam the door in my face?" he yelled getting into her face.
"Accident" she replied with a smirk on her face.
"Well I'm glad you have respect for people." he said turning to his car.
"Excuse me, you have to room to talk, Mr. Mr.aaaaa High and mighty" she said (studdering), "Please don't let me hurt your ego." she finished satisfied with herself, and began to walk towards the mansion.
At this point Ethan heard noice outside and looked out in time to see Luis grab Sheridans arm and swing her towards him.
"Get your god d*** hands off my aunt!" yelled Ethan walking out the door.
"Ethan" Sheridan said startled.
Luis let go of Sheridans arm. "I'm sorry" said Luis.
Ethan began to walk towards Luis, "If you ever lay a hand on my aunt again I'll...." At this point Sheridan had to interrupt, because if they were to fight Luis sure is hell could put the beat down on Ethan.
"Ethan, this doesn't concern you."
"But Sheridan I, he could of, I mean...."
"Luis will you please leave now?" Sheridan said preoccupied with Ethan.
"Sure, whatever" said Luis in disgust.
Sheridan and Ethan began to walk into the house. "Ethan just drop it, as of tommorrow I don't have to deal with him."
"What do you mean Sheridan"? Ethan asked puzzled.
"I booked a flight and, well I'm leaving for London tommorrow at 7 p.m"
"But Sheridan...."
"But Sheridan nothing I'm leaving, oh what did you want me for?"
"Oh yeah" said Ethan, "It's no biggy but I heard Father talking with Mother about you and Luis, Father said that he was glad that something worked I don't remember, but Mother kept saying how could you be so arrogent, and your stupidity get in the way of..but I missed the rest because Pilar came in" said Ethan.
"Oh" said Sheridan, "Well as of now I don't care, and Luis L.F and Sheridan Crane are over, well I mean we're under because there was never an us, but who cares, I'm hungry for muffins, let's go to the Book Cafe" replied Sheridan wanting to change the subject.
Sheridan and Ethan were out at the Book Cafe.
"Ok," said Ethan, "but one question, why London?"
"Well," started Sheridan, "I love the sights in London, and I like France and everything, but it's hard to remember certain things they say, and well Jean Luc"
Chapter 8:
After Sheridan finished her sentence, Luis walked in to the Book Cafe with Hank.
"Hey guys, what can I get for you?" asked Beth smiling at Luis.
Sheridan walks towards the front desk and tells the girl, who is not Beth, what she wants. "How about a blue berry muffin?"
"Umm.. How about a blue Berry.." They say in unison.
"Oh hi Sheridan" said Beth, not making eye contact. (In this story Beth totally hates Sheridan, and gives her anything but the time of day)
"Hi" said Sheridan happily, 'why doesn't Beth like me?' she thought.
"Looks like you and Luis ordered they same thing. And according to what I've heard, you teo usually get into a fight about it." said Hank trying to make conversation with Sheridan.
"Yeah it's been known to happen" Luis said staring deep into Sheridan's eye's like he could see right through her.
"Yeah" she agreed, trying to avoid his eye contact but it was weighing on her like a thousand pounds.
"Here" said Beth shoving a bag into Sheridan's face "Oh I'm sorry" said Beth smiling
"Beth I'm trying no to start a fight," began Sheridan "but is there a reason, any reason at all for you not liking me?" Luis's face had a huge smile planted on it, Beth had always treated Sheridan like this, but now she was standing up to her.
"Whoa ladies," said Hank "this isn't Springer."
"Oh God Hank can't you leave you stupid comments to yourself?" said Luis. Now Sheridan had a smile on her face.
"Well," began Beth "I don't admire the way you prance
around everywhere thinking your miss high and mighty, and your not."
"Oh, ok I get it," said Sheridan "so you don't like me because I act like everyone loves me, and I have everyone wrapped aroung my finger, right?"
"Yes" said Beth giving Sheridan a hateful look. Luis was out in the blue, he didn't know were Sheridan was going with this.
"Ok, so you don't like how I act towards people, so now let me tell you what I think of you," start Sheridan getting closer to Beth.
Luis's smile was back on his face, "I think your little act is working, but do you mind if a reveal it?"
"What?" asked Beth
"Well, you think you have everyone wrapped around your finger the way you say "Luis can you please help me" and "Sheridan is just little Bitch, who wants to rip apart Luis's life so she can feel better about herself" I was there Beth I heard, and let me just tell you that I'm sick and tired of your little games, and as of tommorrow I probably won't see you again!" She got closer to Beth's face, "EVER!" (In this story Sheridan heard Beth say this to some guy at the Bar when she went to the bar with Luis)
"Well I for one am glad" said Beth as Sheridan turned around to walk away, "Oh, and Sheridan," Beth said as Sheridan turned around.
"Here's my farewell." With that Beth leaned down and
kissed Luis full on the lips, like Luis had never expected.
Sheridan was stunned she didn't know what to do, she
wanted to turn and walk away, yet she wanted to cry.
"Oh, ok," stuttered Sheridan, "I'm gonna leave now" Luis was also in the blue he wanted to yell at Beth for hurting Sheridan, yet he wanted to kiss her again to make Sheridan Jealous, but he didn't like Beth at all!!!!!!
"That was weird" Hank said.
Ethan saw Sheridan walk out the door and followed her, then he saw Luis walk out the door following her
"What did you do now Luis?" Ethan said.
