A Story With LUSH

Summary - This story does not come close to the present lives of Harmony
residents. I did take some of the storylines like Sheridan's flashbacks &
Martin's disappearance. Luis, Sheridan, Hank, and Beth are all in High
School. Ethan is away at boarding school, Theresa is nine yrs. old and Miguel
is six.
Disclaimer - I do not own any of these characters they are owned by Passions
on NBC.
Warning- Some places may contain heavy material. I will begin the paragraph
with a rating to fore warn you. If you are offended I am sorry.

Chapter 3
Two Months have passed.
Luis, Hank, and Beth were all sitting at a table in the Book Cafe
studying for final exams. Luis and Beth had a talk about what happened
between them that nigh, but it had been vague and left some questions still
unanswered. Christmas was a month away and you could already smell it in the
air.
"Aghhhhh!" Hank yelled. " I am so tired of studying."
Beth looked up from her notes and rolled her eyes at Hank. Luis saw Beth roll
her eyes and started to laugh.
"Im serious guys. Lets get away from these books and do something fun."
Hank motioned.
"Like what?" Luis asked.
"I dont know go to the lighthouse or down to the pier."
Luis saw his baby sister coming in and walking towards him.
"Theresa, what are you doing here? why aren't you at home?" he demanded.
"I am with Whitney and her Mom." She responded. "Mama said it was okay."
Luis looked at Theresa for a moment wondering if he should be a little angry
for not being with an adult. But, he decided to let it slide.
"Ok. But be sure to stay close to Mrs. Russell."
"Alright." Theresa promised before heading off to join Whitney.
Luis and Beth decided Hank was right and that they all needed a break from
studying. They all went to the pier. Hank was walking a few feet in front of
Luis and Beth.
"So, what are your plans for the Christmas holidays?" Beth asked Luis.
"I dont really have any."Luis replied. "You?"
"Well, my Mom is letting me go to visit relatives in New York. She
thinks I need a break from Harmony."
"when will you be back?"
"Probably a week into January."
"That means you wont be back for that New Years party their throwing
down at the beach."
"Nope I guess not."
"Well, Ill be missing you while your gone." Luis told her leaning
down.
"Oh, really."
Luis and Beth were about to kiss when they heard Hank shouting.
"Hey, guys come here!"Luis and Beth walked to where Hank was.
"What is it Hank?" Beth asked.
Hank pointed down at the beach. "Check out that couple getting it on
on the beach."
Luis and Beth followed Hanks finger to where he was pointing. Sure enough
there were two people rolling around on the sand. Luis and Hank burst out
laughing.
"Shut up you guys they might hear us." Beth said.
"No, they wont. The waves are to loud." Luis pointed out. "Besides I
think their to caught up in what they're doing to care about anything else."
Suddenly they saw Hank's brother coming down the beach towards the couple.
"My brother to the rescue." Hank snorted. "Here I come to save the
day!"
Luis and Beth laughed at Hanks interpretation of his brother. They all
watched the scene play out in front of them while Hank supplied the lines for
his brother.
"Hello, Im Officer Sam Bennett." Hank began. "Do you know what you two
were doing? Its very dangerous to be out here this close to the pier. Plus
you get all that sand in your clothes...."
Luis and Beth burst out laughing.
"And that stuff takes days to get out. Very bad."
When Hank was finished Luis was holding his stomach half bent over.
"Stop it man my sides hurt.' Luis begged.
"Come on." Hank said jumping down from the rail. "That's enough fun
for today lets head back."
They all left the pier and headed back to the Book Cafe. After Luis and Hank
dropped Beth off, Luis drove hank home.
"So, what were you and Beth talking about?" Hank asked Luis when they
got in the car.
"When?"
"Down at the pier."
"Oh, she was telling me that she was going away during Christmas
holiday."
"Oh."
Hank looked over at Luis. Luis sensed Hank staring at him.
"What?" Luis asked annoyed.
"So, are you going to have fun while she's gone?"
"Fun?"
"You know, make new friends." Hank said winking.
"Hank I told you Im not going to do that to Beth."
"Yes, you are Luis you just dont know it yet."
"Hank I would never cheat on Beth and you know that."
"But she doesn't have to know." Hank said with another wink.
"Shut up." Luis dropped Hank off at his brother's house.
"See you tomorrow!" Luis shouted as Hank ran into the house. Hank
waved his hand in the air.
