Storm is very close to Gambit in many ways. She was the reason that Gambit was brought to the X-Men. When she was in her child state, which was brought up by Shadow King, Gambit found her. He was trying to rob the Shadow King and saw this little girl. He saved her and took her from the Shadow King. She then brought him into the X-Men. Also they have alot in common. They both visit the Morlock Grave Center were the Morlocks rest. Gambit was involved in the destruction of the Morlocks and Storm was the leader of the Morlocks.
