Chapter 1:
this is my first attempt at a story so if you have any suggestions on how to improve the story PLEASE write me and tell me so.. ok here goes...i don't own any of these characters blah blah blah don't sue me please. feel free to put this on your website if you think that it is good (and please acknowledge that it is mine)ok here goes
setting:inside the youth center
All of a sudden luis heard a scream. he instantly leaped out of his seat and headed to where he thought the scream had originated.as he swung through the outside doors of the youth center he caught a slight glimpse of sheridan screeching by in her car with someone HOLDING A GUN TO HER HEAD! he was caught in a moment of utter shock but when he broke out of it he quickly jumped into his jeep and raced after her car. With the speed on his dial rising he finally caught up to her car close enough to see what was going on.At first all he could see was a bearded man holding a gun to her neck which was tightly squeezed between his arm and his chest, so she couldn't break free. the closer he got the more hert his heart became. the image of this rugged man herting her, causing tears to stream down her face, caused him pain that he never thought a ''crane'' could make him feel. he felt heartache! he was over whelmed by this feeling he was having.but suddenly the car turned onto a dirt road that looked like it was heading towards the woods. a thought rushed through his mind " what was he going to do to her ,why was he pulling onto an abandoned road." then all of a sudden the car he had been chasing for what seemed like years to him stopped.he anxiously pulled over hoping that everything wound be all right.
The man stepped out of the car and grabbed Sheridan to come along with him. he used such force with her that she almost stumbled into him.luis cautiously stepped out of his jeep and placed his hands into the air at the mans instructions. the man told him to come closer so that he could see what he was forcing him to do. as Luis approached the strange but fairly familiar man a look of shock appeared on his face. it was his father, martin fitsgerald.he spoke "you are making me do this"
Luis calmly asked''what are you talking about me forcing you to do something,'' all the while he couldn't take his eyes off of sheridan's tear stricken face. he felt almost responsible for this.he thought to himself that he should have just asked her to stay like he had yearned to do at the youth center, but he didn't and now she was being held at gun point thanks to him.then his father spoke. ''you should have just let me get away and I wouldn't have to do this'' luis "what" '' this'' as he finished he slowly brought the gun up to sheridan's head suddenly Luis had a rush of all sorts of different feelings, guilt, sadness, regret , and love. he realized at the moment that his ''father'' raised the gun to Sheridan's head that he -`would rather kill his father than spend the rest of his life without Sheridan. Sheridan screamed out Luis's name in one last attempt for him to save her life. Luis quickly grabbed his gun and shuttled it out of it's holder. he raised it to point at his father. at the exact same time ''martin'' was begging to pull the trigger. Luis pulled his trigger. a gun shot echoed through the air,for a moment Luis had no idea whose gun had gun off. then his question was answered. martin fell to the ground with a thump. Luis ran to Sheridan catching her from falling. he wrapped his arms around a now weeping Sheridan and never wanted to let go. then after just moments she pulled away slightly so she could speak. "why did you do this for me" she said through sobs of happiness and grief. " I did it because I...think...I think that I .. am falling...i." just before he could Finnish his sentence she looked up at him with tearyed eyes and gave him a look of understanding. " I just realized that I don't know what I would do if I ever lost y" this time she didn't stop him with a look, she grabbed the curve of his neck and passionately kissed him.she wanted it to last forever and so did he. then the clock struck twelve on his watch and they pulled slightly away to look into each others eyes. as they did this they were both a million miles away thinking about how they had been told by Theresa that the one that you are in the arms of when the clock strikes twelve is the one that you will be with for the whole next year . they were both wishfully thinking how great it would be if this were true. then they both simultaneously broke out of their trance . they looked into each other's eyes and with a look of acknowledgment from Sheridan letting Luis know that she was thinking the same thing he slid his hand to the small of her back and pulled her into a deep and more passionate kiss. thoughts rushed through their minds about hank. Sheridan>how was she going to be able to break the news to him. Luis> how was he going to explain this to him, his best friend who was inlove with Sheridan himself. then all of a sudden all the thoughts that were haunting them left their minds, they were in love and nothing else mattered.
