Goten, though only seen in between and the Cell and Buu Sagas and in the Buu Saga, plays a fairly sigifigant role in DBZ, but he is only in two movies. Goten is the second son of Goku and Chi-chi, and is born when Goku isn't even alive. Until the Buu Saga, Goten is trained by Gohan, and this is also the first time we see someone learn Bukujutsu. He turns SSJ at the age of 7, which greatly surprises Gohan. Amazingly Goten first sees his father when he is 8, and is then taught the Fusion Dance. He fuses with Trunks during the fight with Buu to become Gotenks. Gotenks then takes on Buu, and gets a little cocky. Gotenks takes him on in normal form, but is getting beaten, so then he goes to SSJ. Then we see Gotenks' Ghost Move, but that still doesn't defeat Buu. Well now Gotenks is really p.o.ed because he thinks he's invincible. This causes Gotenks to become SSJ 3! He becomes the most powerful character in all of DBZ! He is taking on Buu and winning! And just as it appears that Gotenks is going to win, he gets absorbed. He is rescued when Vegetto gets absorbed and Goku rescues him.
