Glass Onion
Born and raised in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania vocalist, Chris Bornmann
formed Glass Onion in early 1999 when him and drummer Trevor Chitwood met during
a recording project at MTV Studios. Soon after meeting they formed a band, and
the second they played together it clicked. After writing some material, Chris
brought in long time friend and bassist, Brian McFayden who was looking to start
a band. At first they were a three peice with Chris handling vocals and guitars,
which didn't work out to well considering Chris wasn't the greatest guitar
player. After weeks or searching, they had given up until they met guitarist,
Zach Syler who was doing a solo act at a local jazz club. The band quickly
merged into a tight musical act that earned them several gigs at well known
clubs and events throughout New York City up until just recently when they
signed a contract with the World Wrestling Federation agreeing to be the "WWF
Band" at the hit club/restaurant "WWF New York." Now after all
the bands hard work, they earned themselves a record deal with Flip Records, and
are currently in the studio with producer Brendan O' Brien working on their
debut album "Glass Onion Sux" due out in late April or early May. You
can see the band rocking this summer with Strangers With Candy, Phunk Junkeez,
PHD, Dial 7, and Papa Roach.

Information
The name "Glass Onion" comes from: Where the name "Glass Onion" came from in Chris's words exactly: "the whole band (Trevor, Zach, Brian, and me) were hangin out with SWC after a show, and Zach got all drunk, and Worm dared Zach to jump on glass with onion juice on top, so Zach did (bein his stupid self) and Worm just put two and two together and that's about it. We used to be called P.I.C. I forgot what that was supposed to mean though..."
