On 3 July 2011, Dolce Vita Villas officially celebrates its tenth birthday. We’re going to have a party! But not before we thank our (mainly) loyal customers for choosing us as their preferred villa holiday provider.
It’s been eventful of course, and there have been plenty of changes during those years. Nevertheless, there are many constants in this business, the drive for quality, the pressure on price, and the most important of course, customer service. Whatever you want, we’ll do our best to help. Without that kind of attitude, I’m sure we wouldn’t be where we are today, and we’re delighted when our customers tell us we are succeeding! Our customer Deborah recently said:

Interestingly though the “whatever you want” part is one of the biggest changes. People used to be happy with arriving at the villa, exploring the locality to find things and settling in to an exciting holiday in new surroundings. Now it’s anything from banquets on arrival to hot air balloon rides, guided tours and thermal bath trips! Expectations have risen, and will continue to so so.
Locations have changed too.Tuscany Villa Rental was (and still is) our no. 1 location, but seaside locations, and especially Sardinia, are on the up. I see that as a reflection of the type of holiday that renting a villa through an agency has become. There’s a distinction appearing between the full service agency rental, where everything is available and service is key, and the “no frills” rental direct from owners. Dolce Vita Villas remains resolutely the former, providing a full service and determined to give our customers a truly wonderful experience.
Finally, we’d like to mention the innovations we think have been significant for our customers. This blog, of course – interactive up-to-date information is fantastically important. The newsletter – keeping people posted on events. New destinations such as the Caribbean and skiing holidays. A great mix of new things, and I’m sure they’ll keep on coming for the next 10 years!
