My own Psalms to God

Psalm 0001

Praise God in the third heaven.
Praise God on the throne.
Praise Him for His power.
Praise Him for His goodness to all of mankind.
Praise Him for His gift of life to all people, animals and plants.
His ways of righteousness are far above the ways of man.
If only we would learn from Him; from His word.
If only we would take heed and treasure the words of the Bible.
If only we would obey His commands, it would be well with us.
We would prosper and not fail.
If all people loved their neighbor as He commands;
And if we would love our God who created us and gave us life;
Then we would be blessed and flourish.
Then God would be pleased with us and make us happy.
But mankind does not know; nor understand the way to peace.
Jesus, the Christ; or Messiah, is our only hope.
He is our Savior. He paid the death penalty for our sins.
He will show us the way to world peace.
Jesus is coming soon; and will return as a conquering King.
It is His by right; and He will be King of kings and Lord of lords.
He will rule from Jerusalem over the entire world.
His kingdom will soon be established and will last for all eternity.
No one will take His crown; He will rule forever and ever.
Praise the Lord our God.

Psalm 0002

Praise the Lord, O my soul.
Praise Him in the highest heavens.
Praise Him from the earth below.
Praise Him for His love and kindness, mercy and compassion.
Praise Him for His creation.
Jesus, You are praised for creating life on this planet.
But the people have sinned, and have sinned multiple times.
Everyone of us has sinned, and most do not acknowledge it.
Your people are few who revere You and obey Your commands.
The church of God lives on, and You are the head of Your church.
You said, the gates of hell will not prevail against it.
Therefore, lead us, for You said,
I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
We may be few compared to the world population,
but Your word stands forever.
Help us, O Lord, to stand firm in Your ways.
Be our Guide and our Shepherd.
Lead Your flock in the light of Your word.
We are Your family, who obey Your commands.
We have been baptized and have repented of our sins.
You said, If you love Me, obey the commandments.
We keep the festivals and rest on the Sabbath day.
You want Your church to preach the kingdom of God to the world.
Most nations have heard of the kingdom of God,
because they have heard or read about it.
You want all the nations to hear about the kingdom of God,
Then the end of this age will come.

Psalm 0003

Praise God the Father.
Praise God the Son.
Praise God the Father,
for Jesus could not have accomplished the mission without Him.
Praise Jesus Christ, who came from heaven, where the Father is;
and through the Holy Spirit became conceived in the virgin Mary;
and became the Son of God.
Jesus grew up in wisdom and stature.
Jesus grew in favor with God and men.
When Jesus began His ministry, at about the age of 30,
He was baptized by John the Baptist.
Jesus preached, Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand.
The King of that kingdom was here on earth,
And His kingdom would most definitely arrive.
The religious leaders grew jealous of His influence over the people,
For He spoke as one who had authority, and not as the Pharisees and Scribes.
Pilate knew they had turned Him in because of envy, so he tried to set Him free.
Jesus was scourged.
But the people wanted Barabbas to be set free instead, and to crucify Jesus.
The Romans led Jesus away to be crucified because the Jews could not.
However, all people are guilty for killing Jesus because we have all sinned.
And all of us are enemies of God until we are converted,
and have repented and asked God for forgiveness, confessing our sins to God.
Jesus bled and died on the cross.
And because Jesus was without sin, He became our Savior.
There is only one name under heaven by which we can be saved,
For there is salvation in no other than Jesus Christ.

Your primary goal should be: to seek the kingdom of God and
seek God's righteousness.

Also, love God with all your might and love others as yourself.

Now what is the kingdom of God? And what is God's righteousness?

Also, how do you love God with all your might? And how do you
love others as yourself?

First, let's look at how you love others.

Rule 5: Honor your father and honor your mother.

Rule 6: Do not murder.

Rule 7: Do not commit adultery.

Rule 8: Do not steal.

Rule 9: Do not give false testimony about another person.

Rule 10: Do not desire another person's wife or possessions.

Next, let's look at how you love God.

Rule 1: Do not have other gods before God.

Rule 2: Do not shape an image and bow down to it.

Rule 3: Do not say God's name without meaning it.

Rule 4: Remember the seventh day Sabbath and keep it as special time and do no work on it.

Yes, these ten rules are the ten commandments found in Exodus 20 in your Bible.

Now, let's look at God's righteousness.

God is holy, righteous and good.

God keeps His word.

God obeys His own laws.

God does not sin. (Sin is breaking God's laws.)

We should seek to be like God in our ways.

Finally, let's look at the kingdom of God.

The kingdom of God will be God's kingdom.

The kingdom of God will be a domain that has a king.

God will be the king of the kingdom of God.

This domain will be on earth and God will be King of kings and Lord of lords.

To recap:

Your primary goal should be: to seek the kingdom of God and seek God's righteousness.

Also, love God with all your might and love others as yourself.

This world is evil.

All that matters is our Gods and the Bible. God the Father and God the Son and the Bible.

Let Us create man in Our image, in Our likeness.

Man does not live on bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

Holy, holy. Are you Lord God Almighty? Worthy is the Lamb! Worthy is the Lamb! Holy, holy.

This world is passing away and the lust of it.

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

What a waste of time I have been spending on entertainment.

All this worldly filth will be burned up.

This world is nothing compared to the kingdom of God and eternity.

Focus, spend time in the Bible. Trust God.

Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth.

God is so awesome!

He sits on the throne.

Satan and this world will be burned up.

Read, read the Bible. If you don't have one, buy one or ask for one.

I feel like I have been wasting my time watching TV and wasting my time listening to the radio.

Wasting my time with movie DVDs. Wasting my time with music CDs.

Although I have watched some Christian movies.

There is so much deception in this world.

Satan the Devil has deceived the whole world.

Fight the good fight.

Onward Christian soldiers!

Take up the whole armor of God

Ephesians 6

Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross!

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,

that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high

Hebrews 1

Glory to God!

But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom."

The Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us

The Holy Bible - read it!

Jesus is the Son of the Living God.

Jesus is the Christ - anointed one - Jesus is the Messiah

Narrow and difficult is the way that leads to life and few find it.

Love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.

Love your neighbor as yourself

on these two commands hang all the Law and the Prophets

You shall have no other gods before Me.

You shall not make for yourself a carved image -- any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them.

You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work.

Honor your father and your mother.

You shall not murder.

You shall not commit adultery.

You shall not steal.

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor anything that is your neighbor's.

God spoke all these words

All the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off.

And Moses said to the people, "Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin."

Exodus 20

Trust in God and stand in awe and cease to sin.

Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.

The Bible In A Nutshell

God made Adam and Eve, the first of humanity. Then after 1500 years, Noah and the Flood. Then God selected Abraham, Isaac and Israel to create a nation of Israelites. God led them out of Egypt by Moses. The Israelites passed through the Red Sea and came to Mount Sinai. God spoke the ten commandments to the Israelites. They spied out the land of Canaan. But because of their complaining and constant rebellion, God decided that they should wander the desert for 40 years until the older generation died. The younger generation grew up and were lead by Joshua and God gave them victory over most of the people of Canaan. Then the Israelites settled and the period of the Judges lasted about 400 years. Then the Israelites asked for a king. So God appointed King Saul by the hand of Samuel. Next came King David. After him, King Solomon, who was the wisest of all kings because God gave him wisdom. After this the kingdom divided into the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom of Judah. God sent prophets to warn them of their backsliding and idolatry. Eventually the northern kingdom went into exile by Assyria. God warned Judah, but eventually the southern kingdom of Judah went into exile also by Babylon. After 70 years in captivity, many Jews returned to Jerusalem and under the guidance of Ezra and Nehemiah, the Jews built the wall around Jerusalem and the temple. After they built houses and settled down, time passed and the Messiah was born of a virgin in Bethlehem. Jesus grew up and performed a ministry with His disciples for three and a half years being guided by God the Father. Jesus was scourged and crucified and became the Savior of all mankind. After His death, he was laid in a tomb and after three days and three nights Jesus was raised from the dead. He appeared to some people before He ascended to sit at the right hand of God. The disciples or students became apostles or teachers. They received the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. They went out and preached to the people about Jesus. Paul was converted by God and preached about Jesus and the resurrection to Jews and Gentiles. He wrote many letters to the churches. Peter, James and John and Jude wrote letters also. It was revealed to John the book of Revelation that told of future prophecies and the coming of the New Jerusalem to earth where God would rule.

Jesus will come down to earth and rule all nations from Jerusalem. The knowledge of the Lord Jesus will be as the waters cover the sea. Everyone will know about Him.

"Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'I am zealous for Zion with great zeal; with great fervor I am zealous for her.'
"Thus says the Lord: 'I will return to Zion, and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, the Mountain of the Lord of hosts, the Holy Mountain.'" (Zechariah 8:2-3)

I am so happy for Jesus because He accomplished the victory on the cross by being obedient to God until death. Therefore He has a name above every name in heaven and on earth, so that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus will come back and rule in Jerusalem over the whole earth. People will try to prevent Him, but they will die of a plague where their flesh will dissolve. No one will be able to prevent Jesus from taking over the governments of this world after the tribulation.

Presently, according to the image in Daniel 2, the iron and clay of the feet are in power now and will remain so until the next event, the Rock, cut without hands, will strike the image at the feet causing all the false kingdoms and religions to crumble into pieces and the wind will sweep them away without a trace. Then the Rock will become a huge mountain that fills the whole earth, which means that Jesus, the Rock, will take over all the kingdoms of this earth. As it says, In the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

Also, as we understand it, we are in the seventh church era, the Laodicea. Next comes the seals, including the trumpets. On the seventh trumpet, Jesus returns.

What do we expect, according to prophecy, which will be fulfilled, just as the Messianic prophecies were fulfilled, which proves the Bible to be true? We expect the churches of God, lead by Jesus Christ, to go to, what we call, the place of safety. Then we expect the scroll of the tribulation prophecies, with seven seals, to be given to Jesus Christ, from God the Father.

The first seal: a white horse, he who sat on it conquered. The second seal: a red horse, he who sat on it caused war. The third seal: a black horse, he who sat on it dealt with famine. The fourth seal: a pale horse, he who sat on it delivered death to a fourth of the earth. The fifth seal: souls crying out, how long, O Lord, until you avenge us? They should rest a little longer. The sixth seal: a great earthquake -- every mountain and island was moved out of its place. The sun became black, the moon became red, the stars fell to earth.
144 thousand sealed.

The seventh seal: Seven trumpets. The first trumpet: a third of the trees were burned up and all the grass burned up. The second trumpet: a third of the salt water becomes blood. The third trumpet: a third of the fresh water becomes bitter so that men die when drinking. The fourth trumpet: a third of the day does not shine and a third of the night does not shine. Woe, woe, woe. The fifth trumpet: demons torment men for five months who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. They cannot die. One woe is past, two more to come. The sixth trumpet: release the four angels who are bound to kill a third of mankind by an army of two hundred million using fire, smoke and brimstone. The second woe is past, one more is coming. The seventh trumpet: loud voices in heaven saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” The dead in Christ are raised. They ascend into the sky. The angels of the Lord gather them around the sphere of the earth to Jesus, who is over Jerusalem. A great multitude of saints of all nations around Jesus. All nations will gather to battle against Jerusalem. Then Jesus and the saints descend. Jesus will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem. The mountain shall split in two making a very large valley. The plague which Jesus will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: their flesh will dissolve while they stand on their feet. Their eyes shall dissolve. Their tongues shall dissolve. The third woe is past.

Jesus will be King over all the earth. Everyone who is left of all the nations shall go up from year to year to worship King Jesus, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship King Jesus, on them there will be no rain.

The mountain of King Jesus’ house will be exalted above the hills and all nations will flow to it. Many people will come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion will go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore. Isaiah 2; Micah 4

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. Isaiah 35:5-6

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; their young ones shall lie down together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 11

When will Jesus return to Jerusalem? When the seals of the scroll are opened and those prophecies fulfilled. There are seven seals. The seventh seal contains seven trumpets. At the seventh trumpet, Jesus returns.

He will come on the clouds. At that time, those who sleep in the dust, or the dead in Christ, will hear the voice of the Son of Man and will awake from their graves and come out. Then they will ascend into the sky.

Then the angels will gather the saints around the sphere of the earth to Jesus, who will be over Jerusalem. There in the sky where Jesus and the saints are will then descend to the Mount of Olives. Jesus shall stand on the mountain and the mountain shall split in two and create a large valley. All nations will gather to battle against Jerusalem. A plague will befall all those who try to stop Jesus from reigning in Jerusalem. Their flesh shall dissolve where they stand. Then Jesus will reign in Jerusalem with the saints.

"Thus the Lord my God will come, and all the saints with You." Zechariah 14:5 And in that day it shall be that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea; in both summer and winter it shall occur. And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. Zechariah 14:8-9

And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain. If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. Zechariah 14:16-19

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. This is the first resurrection. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Revelation 20:4-6

During those same one thousand years of Christ's reign, Satan is bound for a one thousand year prison sentence. Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. Revelation 20:1-3

Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city [Jerusalem]. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:7-10

When Satan is released from prison and goes out to deceive the nations, the gospel message will go out. After the 1,000 years are completed, the second resurrection takes place. The rest of the dead come to life. Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth -- to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people -- saying with a loud voice, 'Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.' Revelation 14:6-7

After everyone has heard the gospel and everyone has decided, then comes the judgment. All nations will gather to battle against Jerusalem. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:11-15

Regarding Lucifer, who became Satan, your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, that they might gaze at you. You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your trading; therefore I brought fire from your midst; it devoured you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you. All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; you have become a horror, and shall be no more forever. Ezekiel 28:17-19

Behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, that will leave them neither root nor branch. You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this, says the Lord of hosts. Malachi 4:1-3

Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelins and spears; and they will make fires with them for seven years. They will not take wood from the field nor cut down any from the forests, because they will make fires with the weapons; and they will plunder those who plundered them, and pillage those who pillaged them, says the Lord God. It will come to pass in that day that I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea; and it will obstruct travelers, because there they will bury Gog and all his multitude. Therefore they will call it the Valley of Hamon Gog. For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land. Indeed all the people of the land will be burying, and they will gain renown for it on the day that I am glorified, says the Lord God. They will set apart men regularly employed, with the help of a search party, to pass through the land and bury those bodies remaining on the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make a search. The search party will pass through the land; and when anyone sees a man's bone, he shall set up a marker by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon Gog. Ezekiel 39:11-15

Then comes the new heaven and new earth. Then I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:1-4

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Revelation 22:1-2

Then life goes on forever into eternity. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end.

The kingdom of God will begin at Jesus Christ’s return. We don’t know when, but soon in the near future is likely. For world events show that we are near the end of this age. Gay rights and transgender issues are in the news. There are many terrorist bombings and shootings. It’s getting worse and worse. Our national debt is a serious issue. How long can we go on?

But regardless of the issues, America The Time Is Now personal appearance campaign is in the works in United Church of God with the three Beyond Today presenters, Darris McNeely, Steve Myers, and Gary Petty. They are traveling around the country sharing a message of help for today and hope for tomorrow.

Everywhere people need to repent and turn to God. Time is running out. The seals of Revelation will play out as prophesied. God the Father is in control with the master plan. History has played out according to His will to fulfill prophecy. He allows humanity to make their own choices, but things are going as planned.

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. That’s why I write often about the kingdom of God. I want to be a part of it. I want to be in the first resurrection and see the kingdom Jesus sets up from the beginning.

I want to acquire the character God has. He is the perfect example of righteousness, holiness and goodness. God is love. What better character is there than that? I have a long ways to go to become like God.

Jesus was the perfect example of human life. He never sinned. He obeyed God to the bitter end, even torture and death on a cross! Therefore Jesus has a name above every name. And every person will see Jesus and every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

What must we do to inherit eternal life? Jesus was asked this and He said, keep the commandments. And He was asked, which ones? He listed several of the Ten Commandments. Also when asked which commandment was the greatest, Jesus said, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your mind, and all your soul. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets. Those two commandments are a summary of the Ten Commandments.

I’ve read the Bible and in the Bible I was impressed when I read about how Enoch walked with God, Noah walked with God, Abraham was a friend of God because he obeyed God, Moses talked face-to-face with God as a man talks to his friend, David was a man after God’s own heart, Daniel was beloved by God, and God was well pleased with Jesus. Why did God love these people? Because they obeyed. Jesus said, If you love Me, obey the commandments.

When Cain was downcast after God did not accept his sacrifice, God said to Cain, If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it. We need to master sin, or in other words: overcome sin.

God created us and He knows best. He knows the way to peace and love and happiness, which eludes mankind under Satan’s influence. When we first sinned, we chose the knowledge of good and evil instead of the way of life that God wants us to follow. We need help from God to find the narrow path that leads to eternal life.

The Bible, especially the Psalms, talk about the righteous versus the wicked. The wicked will not stand in the judgment, but the righteous will live on eternally.

Adam and Eve sinned by eating of the forbidden tree. But we’ve all sinned at some point. For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

I am grateful to God for life. It is amazing how we can think of billions of galaxies in the universe, to the protons, neutrons and electrons in atoms. DNA is amazing because of the amount of information stored in it. The cell and all its functions. All the parts that make up the human body, the skin, the muscles, the bones, the nervous system, the circulatory system, the digestive system, the reproductive system, the brain, the heart, the lungs and all the internal organs. Amazing. And for our minds to think about the future and the past and about God and about plants and animals. The mind is an amazing thing with the spirit in man, far superior to the animals. And joined with God’s Spirit, we can believe in Jesus, the resurrection, the kingdom, the new heavens and new earth and New Jerusalem.

God is so kind and loving. He is patient. He is merciful. But He wants us to think about our spiritual condition. Are we living up to God’s standards? Are we obeying the laws? Are we doing our own thing instead? Are we living in sin? How often do we sin? Are we trying to overcome? Have we improved over the years or gotten worse? Are we keeping the holy days and feasts? Are we keeping the Sabbath holy? Are we obeying all ten commandments?

God gives us time to make decisions and choices of all kinds. Our life is the sum of our choices. Satan is the god of this world. Are we following him, or are we following God? Maybe a bit of both? We need to take a stand. Follow God all the way. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through Jesus Christ. Many are called, but few are chosen. Why is that? Because many are not fully committed to God. The meek will inherit the earth. The pure of heart will see God.

Why did God create a nation of Israelites? To be an example to the world. Also to be the keepers of the scriptures and to copy them over time so that the words would not be lost. I’m so thankful for the printing press. Now we have Bibles everywhere and many different versions and translations. The one I trust the most is the New King James Version. I like how when talking about God the first letter is capitalized. Such as My, Me, Him, He, God, Lord, etc.

Moses and Aaron were sent by God to confront Pharaoh. They said, Thus says the Lord God of Israel: Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness. Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go. (Exodus 5:1-2) And soon ten plagues fell on Egypt. Finally Pharaoh let the Israelites go. They went out boldly after Passover night. The feast in the wilderness was the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

What is the Feast of Unleavened Bread about? We are to de-leaven our lives, in other words, to remove sin from our lives. In the New Testament, Paul said to the Corinthians in his letter: Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (1 Corinthians 5:6-8)

The scriptures are filled with all kinds of important information that we need to know for our spiritual well-being. Regular reading of the Bible is helpful. Commit yourself to God daily. Don’t allow sin a foothold in your life. Whatever you spend time and money on, that is important to you.

When you look back on your life, what do you see? Is it good? Is it bad? Probably a mixture of both. Have you made any progress spiritually? Do you put the words of the Bible into practice in your life?

What is the purpose of life? To love people and learn to obey God and be like God. God wants to expand His family.

What do you remember from the Bible? A nation of God’s choosing failed to live up to expectations and they displeased God though He was very patient with them and warned them many times. They eventually went into captivity. Then after 70 years, they rebuilt Jerusalem.

After a few hundred years, Jesus was born. He grew up. With God’s guidance Jesus performed a ministry, and God healed people so they would listen to Jesus. Then after three and a half years of ministry, He was tortured and put to death by bleeding and hanging on a cross. People hurled insults at Him, but He did not sin. He obeyed God to the last breath and became Savior of the world. He was buried in a tomb and after three days and three nights He was resurrected back to life. He appeared to His disciples and others. Then He ascended to be at God‘s right hand.

On the Feast of Pentecost the Holy Spirit was given and the New Testament church began. Then the apostles went out and taught the people about Jesus. Paul was converted and did a ministry and wrote letters to the churches. To John was revealed visions of prophecies that were about the future. He wrote Revelation.

We have been separated from God because of our sins. God allowed us to make our own choices. But I want to live for God, for I have learned about God’s amazing love and goodness and righteousness and holiness. He is a good God. They both are. They are right about everything. It is humanity that fails to please God. But there are a few out of the many that do please God. The Bible has many examples of good and bad people.

We are living in a world where Satan and his demons influence mankind over time. They are invisible but they have effectively manipulated humanity. We must fight against that influence. The world is becoming more and more accepting of evil.

It is easy to want forgiveness and accept it when it comes. But to forgive is harder. You have to forgive others their trespasses against you before God will forgive your trespasses against Him.

God has loved us by being patient with us rather than what our sins deserve. He extends grace so that we can have the opportunity to live on and not die. For the wages of sin is death. If God did not allow us to go on and treated us as our sins deserve, there would be no hope for us in this world and everyone would die. But God knows we are influenced and tempted. He gives us time to learn and repent. Repentance is going the other way, no longer doing the wrong that we were doing.

Doing what is right is so much better. You don’t feel guilty for doing what is right. You feel guilty for doing what is wrong. God sends rain on the righteous and the wicked. He allows the wicked to learn and repent if they are willing. It is God’s desire that all come to repentance, not that that will happen. But for as many as are willing He wants that.

God is everlasting, the eternal God. And He wants to give eternal life to us. But if we choose our own way instead of God’s way, then we cannot have eternal life. We would be miserable and cause innumerable problems. So therefore the wicked will die in the judgment. Only the righteous will live on into eternal life.

When you help people, it is showing God that you love Him. When the King will ask when I was hungry and thirsty, etc. and you fed me and you gave me drink, and they say when were you hungry and thirsty and we fed you and gave you drink? Then He will say, when you did it for the least of these My brethren, you did it unto Me.

God is so thoughtful. He thinks of the tiniest details. His creation is amazing. So much thought He put into it, so much variety. So many animals, so many plants, trees, bushes, flowers and grasses. And even the cycles of water, evaporation, accumulation, rain, rivers.

What are the fruits of the Spirit? Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23) All of Scripture is inspired by God.

God is longsuffering. He is patient with us, desiring all to come to repentance.

God gave us His word so we could learn from it. We can learn what God is like. We can learn what God wants from us. We can learn what God has done. We can learn how people have responded. How do you compare to those examples?

Seek the Lord while He may be found. Call on Him while He is near.

God’s Son Jesus Christ our Lord, was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. (Romans 1:3-4) Jesus did an amazing thing, according to the will of God the Father. He lived a sinless life, grew in favor with God and men, performed a ministry for three and a half years, was scourged and nailed to the cross and bled to death. He became the Savior of the world. He was laid in a tomb and after three nights and three days, He was resurrected from the dead and appeared to His disciples and others.

Since Jesus lived a sinless life, we ought to overcome our sins and try to live sinless. He kept the Sabbath and the Feast days. We should also keep the Sabbath and the Feast days. We can’t do a ministry like His, but we can learn from His righteousness.

The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man -- and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:18-32)

God will render to each one according to his deeds, eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness -- indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil. (Romans 2:6-9) The wicked will not stand in the judgment. But those who are righteous will have eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. (Romans 3:23-26)

Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law. (Romans 3:31)

If we have faith in Jesus and His sacrifice and obey the commandments we can be forgiven and will be raised up at the last day. Those who are asleep in Him will one day hear His voice and come out of the graves. They will live again. And those who are His will be with Jesus forever.

All the dead will be brought back to life. Some in the first resurrection and many in the second resurrection. The next moment of consciousness will be when they arise from their graves. God is truly amazing. It is not hard for God to do this, because with God all things are possible.

Jesus will come back soon. He will establish His kingdom at the seventh trumpet that sounds. The dead in Christ will rise and meet Him in the sky. They will be gathered around the sphere of the earth by the angels to meet their Lord. Then Jesus will descend on the Mount of Olives and establish His throne in Jerusalem.

God is the Master. He knows what’s best for us. The Kingdom of God will be wonderful. People will be healed. The desert will blossom as the rose. People won’t train for war any more. Satan the devil will be locked away for 1,000 years.

Jesus will be ruling in Jerusalem. The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. If we obey Him now, we will be able to obey Him then. If we won’t obey Him now, how will we obey Him then?

Having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. (Romans 5:1-2) By faith we believe in God’s One and Only Son, Jesus Christ, who also believed in His God and became perfect through obedience, even unto torture and death. He is our Savior. Salvation is found through no one else than Christ Jesus.

God is good. Put your trust in Him. The Bible is God’s inspired words to us to help us understand Him. He is our God. He is faithful to fulfill prophecy. He is faithful to the promises He makes. Draw near unto Me and I will draw near unto you, He says. Come unto Me you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest, for My yoke is easy and My burden is light, He says.

Glory, and honor, and power, and might, be to our Lord God Almighty. He is worthy of worship and praise. Praise the Lord for His wonderful Creation. Praise the Lord for His goodness and holiness. Praise the Lord.

I am so grateful that God is such a good God. Both of them are. So full of kindness and mercy are our Gods. They are patient and loving and good. I love Them both.

Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. He will separate the wheat from the chaff. He will separate the sheep from the goats. The meek shall inherit the earth. The proud and boastful will burn.

Since God is so good and wonderful, He is our example of how to be. Holy and righteous and good. Learn to be like Him. Seek first His righteousness and practice being that way. Love everyone, including your enemies. Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Think about God and His ways when you lie down, when you rise up, when you walk by the way, when you sit down, wherever you go. Meditate about the kingdom that will come.

Jesus will set up His throne in Jerusalem. He won’t have anything to worry about because He will return with all power and glory, not as a fragile human being. He will be spirit as He is now. Nothing and no one will be able to stop Him from setting up His kingdom and ruling forever and ever.

I know all judgment is committed to Jesus Christ. All the nations will be around Jerusalem and the court will be seated and books will be opened. And the people will be judged by what is recorded in the books. The angels will separate the sheep from the goats. And fire and hail and rain will fall on the “goats.”

Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5) The Holy Spirit is a direct connection between God and a person. It’s like the wind, you can’t see it, but the results are evident. Sow to the Spirit. Stir up the Spirit within you. Perhaps you will be reminded of spiritual things.

So when Jesus comes and sets up His kingdom, He will send out the saints to rule over the various cities under His command. For Jesus will rule over the whole world. All peoples will come to worship Him. Everyone will learn about the Sabbath and the Holy Days. There shall be no night in Jerusalem because the glory of the Lord will be its light. And a river will flow from beneath His throne. Everyone will learn the laws and ways of the Lord. The knowledge of the Lord will be as the waters cover the sea.

God is watching us and evaluating us to see where we will fit into His kingdom. If we don’t then we will come up in the second resurrection, after the first 1,000 years. Then we will come to the final great white throne judgment. The king will tell the angels to separate the sheep from the goats. Those that are easily led, like sheep, will enter the kingdom; whereas those that are stubborn and hard-hearted, like goats, will be cast into the burning flames.

This is God’s world. But for a time, God is allowing Satan to rule this world. But Satan can only rule for a while, then God will take over. Satan’s ways don’t work. He just causes suffering, misery and death. God’s way is the way of life. No war, no battles, peace and healing and multiplication of life. One day, after the judgment, there will be no more death forever.

God’s way leads to peace and happiness. He can bless and He can curse. But the curses are to lead us back to God so He can bless.

I believe, under God’s rule, there will be forever expansion of life. The population increase will get to a point where other planets will need to be colonized. Eventually the whole galaxy will be filled, then other planets in other galaxies will need to be colonized. There will always be another galaxy to colonize. But no matter where people are, they will all know of the Lord and keep His ways.

New things will always be coming out, new toys, new inventions, new songs, new technology, new movies or plays, new games, etc. There will always be something new to check out. And the more the population, the more creative things will come out as a result of people’s creativity that God gives us.

God is a caring and patient Father. He gives us time to learn and change. He wants us to love Him back because He first loved us. He created us and He knows what is best for us. He has lived so long it is difficult to grasp. He has been alive for all the time that humanity has been here, except for three nights and three days. God the Father has always been alive and will always be alive.

Jesus and the Father are in unity of purpose. God the Father has the master plan. He has always been in control. God wants us to overcome sin and learn that He is right. God is right about everything. I believe it with all my heart. I want to learn from God. First I’ll learn from the Bible, which is His revealed words to mankind. Then I hope to learn directly from Jesus. And eventually I hope to learn directly from God the Father and Jesus. I want to learn to be like them. The fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. This is the character that God has, both Father and Son. Those are excellent things. Who has better character than God?

God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. (Romans 5:8-10) Jesus died for us so that we could be saved from our sins. He was sinless and the perfect sacrifice. His precious blood covers our sins.

Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord. He is my soon-coming King. I want to obey Him in everything. He experienced human life. He did a ministry and experienced torture through scourging and was nailed to a cross and bled to death. He was innocent of any wrong-doing and yet He was killed for our transgressions, our sins. His precious blood covers us from our sins. He was made perfect by obedience through suffering. Therefore He is a great High Priest and Savior and will be King of kings.

God will be the king of the kingdom of God. He will rule in Jerusalem. Jesus will be the God who rules from Jerusalem. The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

The Bible contains the true words of God. We should learn from them.

Just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. (Romans 5:12, 19) Adam’s disobedience resulted in death. And death spread to all men because all sinned. But Jesus’ obedience will result in eternal life to all who obey.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He does not change. But we need to change to become like Him.

God is supreme. He is the sovereign Lord. He rules over heaven and earth, though He allows Satan to rule the world for a period of time. God knows what’s best for us.

In the Bible we learn about our first parents Adam and Eve. The murder of Abel by Cain. Enoch walked with God. Noah and the Flood. God chose Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Joseph was sold by his brothers as a slave. He was taken to Egypt and by a great deliverance God saved the people from starvation. Since the Egyptians were grateful, they allowed Jacob and family to settle in Goshen, the best part of the land of Egypt. They became fruitful and multiplied. A new pharaoh came to power who did not know Joseph and made the Israelites slaves. God worked with Moses and Aaron and with ten plagues on Egypt, the Israelites were released. They went out of Egypt boldly and came to the Red Sea. The waters parted and they went through on dry land. The Egyptian army pursued but the waters covered them and they drowned.

The Israelites traveled across the desert until they came to Mount Sinai, where Moses received the ten commandments written on stone. The Israelites got out of hand while Moses was up on the mountain talking with God. They made a golden calf and worshiped it and this made God angry. Moses came down and threw the stone tablets at the foot of the mountain and they broke. Then He came down and ground the golden calf to dust and put it in the water and made the people drink it. The Levites rallied to Moses and they went forward and back through the camp killing anyone in the way per God’s command. About 3,000 men died that day. Moses had to chisel two new tablets and God wrote the ten commandments on them. He made the Levites in charge of the tabernacle and they built the tabernacle, a representation on earth of the temple of God in heaven.

Then the Israelites sent spies to check out the land of Canaan. They came back and gave a bad report except for Caleb and Joshua. The ten men were struck down because they discouraged the people. For the people’s lack of faith, they had to wander the desert for forty years until the older generation died. Then the younger generation grew up and Joshua led them to conquer Canaan. Joshua and Caleb fought and settled in the promised land.

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus said, if you love me, obey the commandments.

Praise God for His kindness and His mercy. He loves us and wants us to love Him. Jesus is High Priest interceding for us before God.

Joshua and Caleb fought and settled in the land of Canaan with the Israelites. Then the period of the judges began. When the Israelites were in trouble from attacks by the people they didn’t conquer, God would raise up a judge and help them to win the battles. Eventually the Israelites asked for a king like the surrounding nations had. God appointed King Saul, then King David. David chose King Solomon to succeed him. After King Solomon died, the nation divided in two. The northern kingdom of Israel with Samaria as its capital and the southern kingdom of Judah with Jerusalem as its capital. God sent prophets to warn the people of their idolatry, that they should return to God and stop worshiping idols. But they wouldn’t listen. They killed some of the prophets. Also their were many false prophets making the people think things were just fine. Eventually the northern kingdom of Israel went into captivity by Assyria. God warned the kingdom of Judah, but they wouldn’t listen. So the kingdom of Judah went into captivity by Babylon.

For 70 years the Jews were in Babylon. Then Cyrus proclaimed that the Jews could return to Jerusalem and build the temple. They built the wall around Jerusalem in troublesome times and built the temple and built houses and settled down. A few hundred years passed and Jesus was born in Bethlehem. He grew up in Nazareth. Then at about the age of 30 He did a ministry with miracles of healing from God. He preached about repentance and the kingdom of God. After three and half years of ministry, He was captured and put on trial and scourged and nailed to a cross where He bled and died. He was put in a tomb and after three nights and three days He was resurrected. He showed Himself alive to the disciples. He told them to wait in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit would come upon them after He ascended. The disciples became apostles. God performed many miracles through the apostles. And God struck Paul with blindness and helped him realize he was working against Jesus. Then Paul was baptized and he began to preach about Jesus, that He was the Christ. Paul wrote many letters. Also John, Peter, James and Jude wrote letters. All the apostles were martyred except for John. John was confined to the island of Patmos where he received revelations about the future. He wrote the book of Revelation.

After the apostles the people keeping the commandments were persecuted. But Jesus said, the gates of hell would not prevail against the church. So there were always people keeping the seventh-day Sabbath and other commandments. Then God worked through Mr. Armstrong mightily and the work grew. He was on the radio and wrote magazine articles in the Plain Truth and sent those out free of charge. Eventually he was on television proclaiming the World Tomorrow.

Since his death the church has continued on as the United Church of God and various split-offs. United Church of God has existed for 21 years. United Church of God has the Good News magazine recently renamed as Beyond Today magazine. They also do a television broadcast on cable called Beyond Today where they offer booklets to expound upon what they teach on the show. They are doing personal appearance campaigns called America The Time Is Now, as they travel around the United States visiting various cities in many different states.

God is love. He loves us and He wants us to love Him back. And He wants us to love our neighbor as ourselves.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:1-4) Be a new creation.

We are being tested and evaluated as we go through life. What kind of decisions do we make? Are we fit for the kingdom of God? Are we learning? The judgment is coming. If you don’t learn, you burn. The lake of fire will burn to ashes in the future just as surely as fire and brimstone or burning sulfur fell on Sodom and Gomorrah.

For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin. (Romans 6:5-7)

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. (Romans 6:12-13)
