Capturing Screen Shots |
||||
|
|
For demonstration purposes,
you may want to capture an image of the computer screen as it appears. While this can be accomplished using
special computer programs, it can also be easily done using a basic computer
set-up. |

|
|
Capturing an image of the
screen is as simple as pressing the “Print Scrn”
button that is usually located after the ‘F’ function buttons on most
computer keyboards. After you press
the button, open Paint, Word or your favorite graphics program and click the
“Paste” button, select “Paste” from the “Edit” menu or type “Ctrl V” to paste
the image. Now the image can be edited
for size and shape. In word, the image
can be resized while maintaining the height and width proportions by pressing
the “Ctrl” button while clicking on a corner of the image box where the
double ended arrow at a 45 degree angle appears. |

Now you can put the image
into your presentation or paper by selecting the image and copying and
pasting it into your document. Play
with the text wrapping settings if you are having trouble moving the image to
where you want it to go. |
