Understanding the Word is Revealed Knowledge Written by Caroline Lanette Alderson I began to read my Bible reading, when the thoughtcame to me. What's more important? To read threechapters a day and only get a small understanding? Orto take the word and go slow and chew up my food,where I can taste it, and let the Holy Spirit's salivaand teeth grind it up, and then it will digest better.So, I went back and read parts of Matthew Chapter 13,not the whole chapter, but the verses I knew I shouldhave been getting revelation knowledge from, andwasn't. I asked God, I said, how come when I read thisyesterday, I got nothing from it, and God responded,because you were gulping your food down whole, and youweren't chewing it up. He said if I stop and chew myfood up slowly, I will understand what it is I amreading. Duh, lol I did know that, but I forgot, andjust went barreling through reading, and gettinglittle from it. Matt 13:5 Other seeds fell on rocky ground, wherethey had not much soil; and at once they sprang up,because they had no depth of soil. Matt 13:6 But when the sun rose, they were scorched,and because they had no root, they dried up andwithered away. Do you know what the root is? The root isunderstanding the word. Understand means to grasp,take hold of, draw or bring it into yourself. Matt 13:9 He who has ears [to hear], let him belistening and let him consider and perceive andcomprehend by hearing. When you listen closely and hear the word, youwill understand it, perceive it, grasp hold of it,take hold of it, draw the word into yourself and makethe word "yours", bring it in to your being. Now, theword belongs to me. Now, the word is mine. Therefore,I have the right to make it work for me. Matt 13:10 Then the disciples came to Him and said,Why do You speak to them in parables? Matt 13:11 And He replied to them, To you it hasbeen given to know the secrets and mysteries of thekingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. Matt 13:12 For whoever has [spiritual knowledge], tohim will more be given and he will be furnished richlyso that he will have abundance; but from him who hasnot, even what he has will be taken away. Matt 13:13 This is the reason that I speak to themin parables: because having the power of seeing, theydo not see; and having the power of hearing, they donot hear, nor do they grasp and understand. Matt 13:14 In them indeed is the process offulfillment of the prophecy of Isaiah, which says: Youshall indeed hear and hear but never grasp andunderstand; and you shall indeed look and look butnever see and perceive. Matt 13:15 For this nation's heart has grown gross(fat and dull), and their ears heavy and difficult ofhearing, and their eyes they have tightly closed, lestthey see and perceive with their eyes, and hear andcomprehend the sense with their ears, and grasp andunderstand with their heart, and turn and I shouldheal them. [Isa. 6:9, 10.] Matt 13:16 But blessed (happy, fortunate, and to beenvied) are your eyes because they do see, and yourears because they do hear. Matt 13:17 Truly I tell you, many prophets andrighteous men [men who were upright and in rightstanding with God] yearned to see what you see, anddid not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did nothear it. Matt 13:18 Listen then to the [meaning of the] parableof the sower: Matt 13:19 While anyone is hearing the Word of thekingdom and does not grasp and comprehend it, the evilone comes and snatches away what was sown in hisheart. This is what was sown along the roadside. Matt 13:20 As for what was sown on thin (rocky)soil, this is he who hears the Word and at oncewelcomes and accepts it with joy; Matt 13:21 Yet it has no real root in him, but istemporary (inconstant, lasts but a little while); andwhen affliction or trouble or persecution comes onaccount of the Word, at once he is caused to stumble[he is repelled and begins to distrust and desert HimWhom he ought to trust and obey] and he falls away. Matt 13:23 As for what was sown on good soil, this ishe who hears the Word and grasps and comprehends it;he indeed bears fruit and yields in one case a hundredtimes as much as was sown, in another sixty times asmuch, and in another thirty. i do better doing this in Mark chapter 4, but God isgiving me insight on the root part, so I can do thisin Matthew, at least on part of it. I think I left outone or two of them, but it isn't so much the sowersows the word, I want to cover right now, but theunderstanding of the word. All revelation knowledge is, is understanding theword. It seems complicated and to the enemy and thenon-Christians it is. But, to those of us who have theHoly Spirits infilling, we can understand these secretthings that are closed to everyone else. See, theBible is not just some book we read. It has encodedwithin it secret messages and mysteries that have tobe understood, and comprehended. The Holy Spirit willopen up the word to us where we can see the secretthings and the mysteries that God has written within.I think the writers of the word didn't comprehendeverything they were writing, because in the oldtestament they had the Holy Spirit ON them, but atthat time until after Jesus rose from the dead, theHoly Spirit could not live on the inside of a person'sspirit and speak to them, like He can in these lastdays with us. I always thought, wellI want to be careful what I say, because I don't wantthe devil to understanding this, and God spoke to me,and said, the devil can't even understand as muchrevelation understanding as a three year old canobtain. Wow! Because, he’s consumed with sin, grief,hate, fear, fear, fear, jealousy, rage, murder, greed,selfishness, and the list goes on and on and on. He isdarkness going to destruction. He can't understandlove, or any understanding of the word of God. See, the devil has amnesia. He remembers he was inheaven, but he doesn't remember what he had in heaven.He doesn't remember any of his knowledge. He can'trecall any of his understanding of the word. He'sforgotten everything he knew up there. God cursed himwith a curse and flung him out of heaven. Now, he isconsumed with hate and darkness. There is no truthanywhere in him anymore. So, he can spy on us andlisten all he wants, but he can't understand anythingi'm saying or writing pertaining to Godlyunderstanding. He lives totally in sense knowledge likethe world. He only knows I fear if I show him I fear.So, don't let him see any fear in me, and he can'ttouch me. Lanette does a happy, the devil can't see medance. It's like in Age of Empires, he doesn't have enoughgold toget spies, so he can't see into the Christians campand see what we have. Hey, that's good news!! He can'tsee us!!!! We can attack him and he can't come seewhat we have. He can run through here all he wants,but he won't be able to see anything we have. That issoo cool! Yet, we have spies and see EVERYTHING he hasand everything he is doing, and nothing is hidden fromus. So, guess what??? We win!!!!! The Christian Teamis Victorious!!!!!!! We have conquest over the enemybecause we have all the gold, and he has none!!!!!! Wooohooooo!!!! Matt 13:11 And He replied to them, To you it hasbeengiven to know the secrets and mysteries of the kingdomof heaven, but to them it has not been given. The Holy Spirit infilled believer has been giventhe power to understand and decode the word of Godgetting out all of the secrets and hidden mysteriesfound therein, but see it says to them it has not beengiven. Who is them? The world. Those not following theleading of the Holy Spirit. Christians who are deadcan be a part of that group. Matt 13:12 For whoever has [spiritual knowledge],to him will more be given and he will be furnishedrichly so that he will have abundance; but from himwho has not, even what he has will be taken away. The more understanding, the more revealed knowledgeis given unto us, the more we are doers of this wordthat we understand, the more understanding of moreword we will receive so we can do it as well. But, the one who had some understanding of theword, but then didn't consider the word valuable and aprecious treasure, and just blew it off, thatunderstanding that he had will now be taken away fromhim, because he never put it into practice and heended up only being a hearer of that word and not adoer. God said to come back to this part, and putin it's not God who is taking the understanding orsnatching it away, its satan. He said, He didn't wantto get blamed for doing that, even accidentally.*giggles* Refer to verse 19.
