| Tri-Cobalt Torpedoes we among the first torpedoes ever designed. They were powerful enough to tear a hole in sub-space but proved useless against shielded targets. This prompted the development of the Photon Torpedo. Tri-Cobalt Torpedoes are still used by the Federation, but mostly as demolition tools. |
