TYPE-9 SHUTTLE SPECIFICATIONS

The Type-9 Shuttle was designed to carry small groups of people over interstellar distances - A feat that no preceding shuttle could do effectively. Although small in design, the Type-9 utilises the latest in technology. It features a bio-neural gel-pack computer system, advanced warp core and micro-torpedo launcher. It is also the fist shuttle ever to be fitted with a Multi-Layered Shielding System.

Field testing of this shuttle was done on the USS Intrepid and USS Voyager. And as popularity grew, so did the number of these shuttle. Eventually, the shuttle was deployed through-out the fleet.
