History |
Varik, and his twin brother Pasek, were born to Pithara, the victim of a Romulan guard.
Despite not being fully Vulcan, Pithara did everything she could to raise the two boys as
close to a standard Vulcan upbringing. At the age of 18, Varik had decided to enter
Starfleet as a Medical Research Officer.
After four years, he graduated, receiving orders to the USS Tranquility as a Medical
Officer. During his stay aboard the Tranquility, Varik proved himself as a competent
Medical Officer, assuming the position of Chief Medical Officer following the death of
the ship’s CMO during an away mission. |

--Following attempted mind meld with LCDR TORIK was brought to sickbay. Treated for
severe exhaustion. Counseled ENS VARIK on physiological demands of mind meld –
recommended not to continue training.
Shortly thereafter, Varik was assigned to Starbase 195 as the Senior Medical Researcher. One year later, Varik was reassigned to the USS Bloembergen as Chief Medical Officer. Subsequently promoted to Lieutenant Commander and assigned to the position of Executive Officer, USS Bloembergen. |
