[FERENGI SHIP; CARGO BAY]
As things came into focus around Sanehouse, he took a look at his surroundings, expecting to find himself asleep in his quarters back on the Bloembergen. If not for the fact that he could not move his hands, and the
surrounding area contained a lot of crates and had an unfamiliar design, he would have continued believing he was in his quarters, too. The blood that was once running down the side of his head had dried up, probably a few hours ago. How long was he unconscious? More importantly, where was Kirby?
"Ens--" The rest of the word barely came out as his throat was hoarse as though he rode two miles behind a fast horse on a dusty trail. "Ensign Pereira?" He finally managed to get the words out. "Ensign, report?"
Kirby heard Sanehouse, as though from deep inside a cave. His voice echoed through his head, and he wasn't sure if he had heard it or not. He opened his eyes, and they adjusted slower than they normally did after
waking up. He opened his mouth, but it took a second before he could respond, "C-Commander... Sanehouse?"
Sanehouse heard Kirby's words quite clearly despite the condition of his head. "Ensign. I see you are alive. Or rather, hear. However, next in mind to us both being alive is the thought that we need to escape..."

"Sir," the Tactical Officer said, "The Ferengi Marauder just came within range to fire upon them with our aft torpedo launcher. We are still out of range for their weaponry, though."
"Thank you, Mr. Wadford. Commence opening fire. See if you can disable their forward firing weapons."
"Aye sir, though I doubt I can. At this distance, accuracy goes out the view port."
"Acknowledged. Try anyways. Helm, increase speed and match it to the Marauder."
"Sorry sir, I can't. We are already at maximum velocity." she said.
"We will see about that." Bane tapped his communicator. "Bridge to Engineering. I need all available power to be fed into the Impulse
Engines."
=/\= Sir, if we do that," the response came, "the manifolds will be the only thing left. =/\=
"We will deal with that later, Engineering. Just do as I ask. Bridge out."
[FERENGI SHIP; CARGO BAY]
Sanehouse tried to steal a glance behind him at the device around his wrists. It appeared to be holding him by pure energy. What luck. Actually, it was the opposite of luck, but...
Suddenly, the floor came up at his very fast. At first he thought the ship was upside down and gravity had failed, then he realized the ship had been hit. The ship shook again and he slid across the whole length of
the cargo bay on his side. "What the--" Another hit. This time he slid back to where he originally was. This time, however, the power went out for a fraction of a second, and before Sanehouse realized it, his hands were boundless and in front of him. As were his legs. He glanced up over the top of the crate that was concealing him. Both the Ferengi guards appeared not
to notice Sanehouse's change of luck. He caught Kirby's gaze and motioned towards the guards. He hoped he got the message. Sanehouse counted to three, then leapt up and tackled the guard on his side of the door, sending him sprawling into the door, crumpling to the floor afterwards. He kindly gave Sanehouse his disruptor.
Kirby took the other guard as he was raising his disrupter level to Sanehouse. Kirby's shoulder contacted the Ferengi's chest, and knocked the
wind out of him. He then head butted the Ferengi, rendering him unconscious, and making Kirby a little dizzy. He got to his knees, picked up the dropped disrupter and then got to his feet.

"Three direct hits on their forward shields, minimal damage." Mr. Wadford related. "The fourth torpedo missed, sir. Reloading magazine now."
"Thank you, Ensign. Helm, status of speed increase?"
"Engine efficiency has increased to 105%, sir. I believe that is all the manifolds can take. We have matched target speed, with the ability to just barely squeeze out a tad more speed."
"Sir," Mr. Wadford began, "the Ferengi Marauder is backing off slightly, but maintaining pursuit."
"Very well. Fire at will until they are out of range, Ensign." Bane ordered.
[FERENGI SHIP; CARGO BAY]
The cargo bay doors shot open as Sanehouse dashed through them, disruptor in hand. Once outside of the cargo bay, he checked the settings on the phaser. He's never heard of a Ferengi disruptor with a stun setting.
However, there it was, nonetheless. So, he set it. "Oh, Ensign. I almost forgot. I picked this up off one of the Ferengi we took care of." Sanehouse
tossed the Dk'tagh through the air to him.
Kirby caught it in his now-outstretched hand. "Thank you sir," said Kirby. He held it tightly.
