2006-12-06 - James Kim

Today the members of the Fondy Space Flight Institute and Unstoppable Allied Vanguards have lost a friend in the world of technology.

James Kim, former host of Fresh Gear and other techtv shows was found dead today after missing for days.  His family was found alive earlier this week, but he left to go search for help, and was found in the cold Oregon snow today.

When he was on techtv millions watched him review the latest gadgets, and he always had a great sense of humor.  His many friends in the tech world helped find him, such as Leo Laporte and the digg.com community.

In remembrance, [UAV] will be dedicating the upcoming Fond du LAN I – Wuinter 2006 to his memory.

2006-11-15 - Google Calendar Up

We have created a calendar for [UAV] on Google Calendar.  You can add it to your Google Calendar by searching public calendars for 'clanuav'.  Here is a module on this site that we will move up to the top after a few weeks.  It is also permanently available on the links page.

We have added the functionality of using xfire to communicate with other clan members easily ingame by forming a clan on the Xfire system representative of [UAV].  [UAV] on Xfire

2006-06-23 - QuakeCon 2006 a no-go

[UAV] will not attend QuakeCon XI (2006) this year as it was not possible for any members to attend.

LOC Rage

The LOC site has been deleted in a fit of 'immature rage!' Sources (NothingMan-xUx) say that they're trying to bring the site back into existence. I'll try to keep you updated as things progress.
