TROOP 253 Visions
Here is another image from Pt Reyes taken the year we did the reverse route from Coast Camp back up to Sky Camp. This hill was much easier going downhill than the usual uphill route.

And lest you think the only place the troop ever hiked was Pt Reyes, here is one kooking down on Long Lake in Emigrant Basin Wilderness. Is that Big Foot I see standing to the side?

Since the new season is starting I though I'd scan some from Castle Rock outings...
This picture was a good choice as it shows the troop tarps when they were brand new and had to have the ropes tied to the corners. Also notice the new 100 miler patch on the pack in front.

Those of you who have ever been to Castle Rock will recognize this narrow trail....

These tarps really did work well with the new ropes. However I'm not sure the rest of the equipment stayed dry...

Desolation Wilderness outing taken in the early morning as the sun was just coming up over Suzie lake. We climbed Mt Tallac later that day...

And jumping around the globe from Desolation Wilderness to Big Basin, here is a scan of Silver falls:
