Ventura, California March 13-17, 2003

This is another one of Andris' business trips we went on with him, hence the reason you don't see him in any of the photos. He was across the street working. Poor guy worked right across the street from the beach and didn't even get to enjoy it once.


Day 1:



Eden approaching the ocean for the first time in her life. It's like she was drawn to it. She started at the top of the beach, kicked off her shoes, then socks, then pants, threw off her shirt and ran in. As you can see, it wasn't really sunny out, but it wasn't cold either. She was drawn to the water.


Getting used to the feel of the sand on her toes.


Not giving those waves a chance to catch her. She eventually sat down and allowed the waves to come up on her...until I put a stop to it. About gave me a heart attack.


Aya walked around for a hot second before she clutched to my leg. The slope down was a bit much for her and the sand on her feet freaked her out. She liked the playground on the beach much more. But that was another day.......



Day 3: (It rained Day 2)

She was intrigued by the whole experience.
