London baby!
Now Playing: Stan Bush - Dare/You got the touch, Jerry C - Canon Rock and Maybe Tomorrow - Littlest Hobo Theme (cheers Fuzz)
The Megabus: Never before have I ridden in such a hive of scum and villany. No matter which way I turned or twisted I just could not get comfy in the goddamn seats! Even though I had two to myself! The Drunken glaswegian two seats in front didnt help either, nor did the snoring man in the seat opposite nor the decaying fetid stench of humans who would sacrifice their very comfort for a cheap bus trip.... so yeah... the bus sucked. But now im here.
I've been whiling away the morning so far just wandering London and getting use to the 'home' on my back. I sat by the London eye and had a small breakfast and just chilled and let it sink in that I had left. So now the adventure begins...
Thanks to everyone who came to my leaving do or to see me off at the bus. Gonna miss you all. So why not keep in touch by posting a comment or two? Speak to you all soon enough Im sure.

London
Well, the travelling has already begun. My parents took me down to London to see the "We Will Rock You" musical. We arrived leisurely on the friday after a smooth flight and train transfer and hit the bar for a quick celebratory drink and to await the arrival of my brother. We took it kinda easy on that day, had a walk around Harrods to look at some stupidly expensive stuff (altho my Mum was pretty upset when she found the toaster and kettle she bought was cheaper in Harrods than where she'd got it) and then hit the food court and back to the hotel for relaxation and sleep.

The Saturday was more eventful: We started the day with breakfast then did the touristy thing by going to the London eye. Great views all round and lots of photos were taken (I'll stick some up soon). After that we went to the Hamleys toy store to have a wee look around and see all the mad folk working there. Then it was onto the show:
One word... in fact no... make that lots of words: OH MY DEAR GOD HOW INCREDIBLE!!!! It was sheerly amazing. A big improvement on the first show of it I seen. Every character was slick and amazing.
Afterwards we headed to a great little piano bar simply named Piano on Kensington High Street. It was basically a corridor with tables and chairs and a piano at one end. The music was good tho and we had a little dance.

Sunday was very relaxing after everything we did yesterday. We basically spent all day chatting about how amazing the show was and chilling out. Then it was time for the train to the airport and the flight home. All in all a sweet leaving present from my folks (Thanks guys!)

The beggining...
Well, it's official. Next May ya'll can catch my vapours as I'll be off and up out.
This saturday I will be confirming my booking for my flight to New Zealand. I've got a month and a half stop-over in China arriving in Hong Kong. I'll be travelling to Shanghai and going on a two week tour of the country ending up in Beijing. Then it's back to Shanghai to catch a ferry to Japan where I'll be staying for a month: A week in tokyo then buying a rail pass to travel round a bit. After Japan it's a ferry back to China to catch my flight to New Zealand. Then... well god knows to be honest. Planning on getting a job in NZ and working/travelling a bit round there. Maybe go by Austrailia on the way back and a light stop off in Europe wouldnt be bad either. But I guess it all comes down to how much money I gots left at the end of it all. Still doesnt seem like it's actually gonna happen yet.
I know it's a little early to be getting excited since I have an 8 MONTH WAIT!!!! till I leave but I cant really help it.
But you can all expect that I'll be bringin law to the lawless, sin to the sinless and justice to all. Steve's Mission of Love begins in May. The world shall feel the explosion of joy that I will bring.
Set up my photo album too. It's only got a couple photos in it right now however.Link to Photo Album Kodak Moments
