All About Me!!
Well, well, where do I begin? I guess by saying I'm Chloe Faught. I'm a born and bred Victorian
(Victoria, BC, Canada that is) and I just finished my BSc. in Geography at the University of Victoria.
And now, as you might have guessed, I am heading off to India!!
I've wanted to go to India, for...hmmm..probably at least 5 years Or perhaps since I learned there was
a Girl Guide World Center located there. And now I finally am! I'll be assisting at Sangam World Center located in Pune. Pune is about
4hrs from Mumbai (Bombay) in the western state of Maharastra (see map to locate it). I will be there for 6 months as a Program
Assistant---so I'll be meeting and greeting world travellers, assisting in activities and seminars, taking people out around town, etc. etc. For more information on that
please view the rest of my website or go directly to the Sangam website. I also hope to learn Hindi, some regional cooking, dance,
sing, and volunteer in the community.
The other thing that I would like to tell you all, is that I'm new at this website making thing. I have created this website completely using html code (so no fancy web-design programs). Click on "View"/"Source" in you browser window if
you don't know what this entails and you'll see my code. I am extremely proud of this simple, but adequate webpage and fascinated by the idea
that I can upload it and pictures from my digital camera, all the way from India. I hope to make improvements all year as I learn more and more so I
encourage any positive feedback you may have.
As I write this, I am sitting comfortable in my home in Canada...so I have no idea how my journeys
will go. All going well you'll soon be seeing and reading all about my great and wonderful adventures. I hope
