Dominion Ships

General Dominion Ship Overview: The Dominion's fleet is most similar to the Klingon fleet, although the Dominion do not have an equivalent of either the K'Vort or the K'Tinga. The mainstay of the fleet is the Dominion Fighter. Small yet powerful the fighter is capable of performing most missions. When even the fighter can't do it the Dominion also have a Battlecruiser which can do almost any mission. The 'Negh'Var' of the fleet is the battleship. There is also a rumoured Dreadnought Class vessel although Starfleet cannot come up with any cold facts and the Dominion will neither confirm nor deny it's existence. The Dominion has special deflectors which as well as negating the effects of tractor beams also spread out the explosion from one of the Jem'Hadars favourite tactics- ramming. The Dominion mainstay of weapons is the phased polaron. The Dominion only has phased polaron beams and torpedoes but both these are extremely powerful. Until recently these weapons went through Federation shielding. However on the first battle of the Dominion War the Federation revealed a new way to allow shields to hold against Dominion weapons. Click one of the vessels buttons below to find out more. Below that is a list of ships where clearance or information is not high enough to warrant more detailed descriptions.

Dominion Dreadnought

The existence of this vessel is nothing but a rumour. During the final battle above Cardassia Prime many officers reported this vessel's existence but sensors during the battle are considered unreliable and the only visual combination of the vessel (above) is sketchy at best. Either this vessel exists or it is a Battleship from an angle which makes it look bigger. Until we get confirmation of either theory we assume that it does not exist. But I have included it for completion.

Karemman Trading Vessel

A trading vessel from one of the Dominion's more influential members. The Karemman trading vessel has a normal crew of around 23.
