Little is known of the Probe, as it has only been seen once, by the USS Voyager in the Delta Quadrant, what little has been collected is not available to cadets, however it should be noted that the Probe is approximately the same power as an Intrepid Class vessel. This ship should not be considered a threat, although it should be noted a Probe may be used to gather information before a full scale assimilation attempt. There is a key weakness in Probe's in that when the remodulate their shields, the shields go down, however the adaptive nature of the Borg means it could of been eradicated from the design.
