316 PED (AD 1980): Kiran Joshmaul is born in Scotland.
309 PED (AD 1987): Joshua Underwood is born in the U.S.
304 PED (AD 1992): The Eugenics Wars begin.
300 PED (AD 1996): Kiran Joshmaul and Joshua Underwood form an army of anti-dictator supermen and drive Khan Noonian Singh and his followers from Earth. Following that, both Joshmaul and Underwood go into hiding.
135 PED (AD 2161): The United Federation of Planets is founded.
95 PED (AD 2201): Kiran Joshmaul enters Starfleet.
86 PED (AD 2210): Joshua Underwood enters Starfleet.
66 PED (AD 2230): Reydovan Prime is colonized.
25 PED (AD 2271): Admiral James Kirk steps down as Chief of Starfleet Operations; Kiran Joshmaul, now an Admiral, takes his place. Joshua Underwood, also an Admiral, takes command of Spacedock.
20 PED(AD 2276): Kiran Joshmaul and Joshua Underwood disappear; Joshmaul had been convicted of treason and was being transported to a prison colony.
IF 1(AD 2296): Kiran Joshmaul becomes Emperor Joshmaul I. Joshmaul declares martial law, and orders an expansion of the Empire to the surrounding systems.
RY 14 (AD 2310): Imperial forces encounter the Federation starship Independence. Emperor Joshmaul, on the I.S.S. Absolution, destroys the Excelsior-class in a matter of minutes, thus causing the Federation to brand Joshmaul as a terrorist and a madman.
22 (AD 2318): Evan Pardonnet, Governor of Belle Terre (elected 2272) is declared Chancellor.
24 (AD 2320): Belle Terre enters the Reydovan Empire.
92 (AD 2388): As Imperial Chancellor, Joshua Underwood opens relations with the United Federation of Planets in order to avoid a war. During this time, the UFP is battling an anomaly known as the "Duplex Paradox", which inexplicably pulls people from their own time.
August 29, 94 (AD 2390): The Empire goes into official working relations with the Federation.
September 27, 94: Reports come in of attacks by Separatist terrorists on planets in four systems, including Reydovan Prime. The Separatists assassinate Foreign Minister Somerset and besiege the Imperial Palace. Joshmaul, Underwood and their guards quell the Separatist attack.
October 1, 94: Iago, Tyrus, Sirrus, MacDonald, Sugia, Carmel and Bradley systems leave the Empire to form the Reydovan Confederacy. Reydovan, Occult, Myst, Tiberius and Korolev remain loyal to the Empire.
October 4, 94: Battlefleet Reydovan is assembled at the Emperor's command, led by the battlecruisers Stryker (Underwood) and Reydovan's Sword (Joshmaul), as well as the destroyer Amistad (Underwood's Chief of Staff, Marshal Jeremiah Neill).
December 94: The last Separatist rebellion is quelled.
204 (AD 2500): Joshua Underwood plots against Emperor Joshmaul.
March 14, 205 (AD 2501): Underwood is suspected of treason; his forces battle the Empire at Starbase Tranquility. Reydovan Directorate formed.
June 18, 205: Emperor Joshmaul is killed at Tranquility; Reydovan Democratic Republic formed.
July 23, 205: Emperor Joshmaul is resurrected and begins to wreak havoc on the people of Reydovan Prime. Joshmaul is again killed and the Imperial fleet sent into disarray.
September 23, 205: Former Imperial Executor Garien Wraith and several renegade Imperial warlords are arrested and charged with high treason. They are executed in Palace Square on Reydovan Prime. Afterwards, Chancellor Underwood declares martial law, and he is unanimously elected Chancellor for life by the Reydovan people.
November 25, 205: Chancellor Underwood restarts the negotiations with the L'nhraei Commonwealth of Planets.
February-August 206 (AD 2502): The Republic is plagued by the menace of Reydovan Emperor Joshmaul the Second, the son of the demented Joshmaul the Destroyer. On August 20, Underwood kills Joshmaul II and regains control of the Republic.
September 24, 206: Underwood recaptures Reydovan Prime and raises the Republic flag over the Imperial Palace.
October 1, 206: Execution of Reydovan Empress T'Pren, the wife of Joshmaul II, in Republic Square. This is the last known execution in the Republic.
October 7, 206: Underwood travels to L'nhraei, the capital planet of the Commonwealth, to negotiate a merger deal between the two nations.
October 9, 206: Commonwealth President John Macpherson accepts Chancellor Underwood's terms for merger, to be effective sometime in December (Messidor on the L'nhraei calendar).
October 11, 206: Chancellor Underwood is crippled by an explosion in the Imperial Palace on Reydovan Prime.
November 28, 206: Jeremiah Neill is elected the last official Republic Chancellor.
December 28, 206: Chancellor Neill and his wife, Underwood's daughter Sarah, are assassinated by remnants of the Imperial Army. The Commanding Admiral succeeds Neill as Chancellor after Deputy Chancellor Daniel Longstreet resigns.
December 30, 206: Joshua Underwood personally leads the First and Second Reydovan Prime Corps and the First Belle Terre Corps of the Republic Army, some two million men, on its last campaign to destroy all Imperial remnants on Tiberius Prime. The fortress city of Tiberianopolis is completely destroyed, and the Imperial Army eradicated. Republic casualties tallied close to eight thousand, while 70,000 Imperial soldiers were killed and 80,000 taken prisoner.
December 31, 206: The Reydovan Planetary Assembly sends the Republic Dissolution Act to the L'nhraei Commonwealth.
January 1, 207 (AD 2503): The Republic is dissolved, ending two centuries of Reydovan sovereignty. Chancellor Underwood assures the people that they will remain a Republic, but they must accept Commonwealth law. Shortly afterwards, the Council of Chancellors votes unanimously to begin the terraforming of Tiberius Prime, which had been scoured clean of all manmade structures after the planet's four hundred million people are relocated to the habitable planets in the Tiberius system.
January 8, 207: Tiberian Chancellor Heffner sends a report that the terraforming of his system capital is complete and the planetary government is being rebuilt. The fortress of Tiberianopolis is reconstructed and the city is slowly built up over time.
February 5, 207: Reydovan Empress Natalya returns from her seventeen-month exile from Imperial space and sets her grandson, Kiran Joshmaul III, on the throne.
February 8, 207: Kiran Joshmaul III and Joshua Underwood are exiled from Reydovan Prime by General Daniel Longstreet, who sets himself up as Military Executor of the Reydovan Empire. Underwood orders the Imperial fleet to blockade Reydovan Prime to avoid the general's escape. He is later captured by Imperial officials.
March 19-21, 207: Daniel Longstreet escapes from custody on Daekhra and declares himself Emperor Daniel I, overthrowing Emperor Joshmaul.
March 22, 207: The Second Battle of Reydovan Prime. Emperor Joshmaul leads his fleet against Emperor Daniel, to no avail. The Severnaya, formerly Imperial Family flagship and now Longstreet's flagship, is disabled by Chancellor Underwood's fighter squadrons. The ship crashes into Reydovan Prime's northern arctic regions. After the horrendous losses, Chancellor Underwood claims responsibility and resigns in disgrace, exiling himself from the inhabited galaxy to keep them safe.
March 23, 207: Reydovan Prime is consumed by massive tsunamis caused by seismic disturbances from the Severnaya's impact.
March 25, 207: The final battle between Joshmaul and Longstreet at L'nhraei. Two unfamiliar Imperial battleships, identifying themselves as the Liberator of the Free People, commanded by the mysterious Dark Wanderer, and the Fist of Reydovan, commanded by Rear Admiral Dustin Sykes, enters the fray. In the final minutes of the fighting, Longstreet is killed by the Dark Wanderer (who reveals himself to be Chancellor Underwood) on the bridge of his ship. The Fist of Reydovan is destroyed during the battle. The Auriga, Longstreet's flagship and first of the class of science vessels the Severnaya belonged to, explodes in L'nhraei orbit, destroying Longstreet's entire fleet. The Parkes is blown in two by Longstreet's fleet and is vaporized in the massive detonation, killing the Emperor and destroying two more of his ships. Shortly afterwards, Underwood leads the remnants of the Imperial fleet and disappears without a trace.
