Legislature: The Senate (the lower house) represents the habited planets of the Empire. There are forty-eight total representatives in the Senate. The Inquisition (the upper house) represents the systems. There are twelve, one for each system.
Executive Branch: The Inner Circle consists of the Reydovan Emperor, the Chancellor of the Reydovan Empire, the High Minister of Reydovan and the heads of the Ministries of State, Defense, External Relations (or Foreign Relations), Internal Relations, Science, Education and Population.
Judicial Branch: The Emperor is the chief officer of justice in the Empire. The High Inquisitor serves as his deputy, and the Inquisition serve as the jury. There are also city, provincial and planetary courts.
Military: The Reydovan Military Body is the combined military of the Republic. The Minister of Defense is the head of the Body in peacetime, while the Emperor takes command in times of war. The Imperial Army are used for landing operations; the Imperial Navy, for planetary offense and defense; the Imperial Fighter Corps, for small-scale planetary assaults. The fourth branch, the Imperial Guard, is the military police force responsible for the safety and well-being of the Emperor and his family, similar to the United States Secret Service.
