WRTR is a not for-profit rescue organization established 2004 to provide sanctuary for unwanted Rat Terriers throughout the Wisconsin, Southern Minnesota and Northern Illinois regions.
Cricket is approximately 4 years old. She is spayed, up to date on all shots and heartworm free. Cricket would like a home where it is quiet as she does not like loud noises. She would do best in a home where there are no young children. Cricket can only go to a home with a fenced in yard as she likes to run. Cricket is working very hard on her housetraining.
Hi I'm Josie.
I'm from Milwaukee, WI and while I didn't mind city life I really do like having a back yard to play in. Especially with all the other dogs I'm living with right now.
I'm a laid back, white tri mix--maybe a Blue Heeler, anyway I'm a cutie--who is spayed, microchiped and up to date on all my shots.
On my first day home I got to visit a pet store--I liked all the attention. And the cool floor was the best! I was on my best behavior. And I got to meet people. And I got to bark and play bow at some really strange longhaired dogs that ignored me. I went to Dog Fest in Madison and I really don't like a lot of people trying to pet me.
I'm too rough for young children--I really like to play and since I'm 20 pounds right now I knock young kids over. The Blue Heeler is evident, as I like to try to herd the other dogs at my foster home and nip their heels.
Give me a bone to chew and I'll be in heaven. I'm not too sure about other toys.
I am crate trained and I do my best not to go in the house. But I'm only a youngster, about 10 months old, and I do have accidents sometimes, usually when I am too busy playing.
I have not met any cats yet so I don't know how I would be around them.
