Ok, lets start right from the beginning. I was born on 21st June 1982. The same day as Prince William, the future King of England. But, I'm 3 hours older than him!!
I was educated initially at 'R.L. Hughes County Primary School' in Ashton-in-Makerfield, and then moved to 'Byrchall High School', also in Ashton, at the age of 11.
Following quite successful GCSE results I was lucky enough to attain a place at 'Carmel 6th Form College' in St. Helens. Here I studied A-level's in Maths, Physics and Computing.
During my time at school and college I was an active member of St. Helens squadron Air Training Corps (ATC). I attained the highest rank of Cadet Warrant Officer (CWO) in 2000, just before I had to leave because of University commitments.
In September 2000, I started my degree course in Aeronautical Engineering at 'Salford University' in Manchester. I've just completed my 2nd year and I'm in Poland now for my 3rd. That's pretty much where I'm up to.
I've had an excellent time in Poland so far, and I hope the next few months I have left will be even better. I've met some truly excellent people, some of which I hope to remain friends with for the rest of my life.
As for the future, I always wanted to be a Fighter pilot in the RAF, but after trying twice and failing the interviews, I decided this was not for me. Only God knows what I'll get up to now, but hopefully It'll be good. As regards the RAF I was lucky enough to be awarded a flying scholarship, which gave me 20 hours free flying at Perth aerodrome in Scotland.
That's pretty much it up till now, as well as all the studying and hard work at Victoria Wines and Booker over the past few years, I enjoy having a great time with my friends, which normally occurs at the local pub, in T&G's in Ashton.
Or of course the Pav!
