Welcome everyone, to the Sarahs' OH! THE PRETTY THINGS COLLECTION (SUMMER 2004). It's been a tiring start of the year, especially with school happening and the excitement and sudden depression of the Bowie Concert in April; but, with the summer passing by us as I type, this year's first (and hopefully not last) collection is certain to be most electrifying. As we are not superwomen and we do not contain enough special powers to automatically make 300 articles of clothing and other miscellaneous items, we value your patience and hope that you will check back frequently to view our ever-growing amount of items. I would now like to use the small amount of telepathic powers I do have to try to read your thoughts and questions that you may be asking at this very moment. ::Pushes the on button::

HOW DID YOU EVER GET THE IDEA TO CREATE A PILE OF JUNK AND THEN "ADVERTISE" IT ONLINE?

Simple: I woke up one morning and decided I needed to do something better with my life. Actually, Sarah and I have been talking about diversifying our interests for a long time and this time we mustered up the energy to actually do something about it. All of the "pieces of junk" you see is our artwork, inspired by many topics we've never discovered before.

ARE YOU SELLING YOUR ITEMS ONLINE OR SOMETHING?

We were also talking about that, as well. We were going to, but we decided not to go through with that. Besides, who would actually want it? I don't know. Of course, if you are interested in owning something we've made, you could always leave a comment below and we could work something out.

WHAT ARE "PRETTY THINGS"?

Pretty Things are the various artwork that we create. It may be a sock, it may be a painting, it may be a clay model of an Exotic Purple Striped Monkey- whatever it is, it has a different inspiration. Yes, Sarah and Sarah are researching several topics that interest us and making it into something physical, to put it plainly.

WHAT IS ALL THE OTHER STUFF?

Those other headings on the sidebar are just things that Sarah and I decided to do for fun. Oh, yeah, and always keep in the back of your mind when you browse this site: IT IS PURELY FOR FUN. It doesn't have to be there for a special reason, sometimes we just do things on a whim. Whims are cool. We like to swing off whims, they're like Tarzan ropes, except they're slippery. Wow, I just made a really awesome quote there.. ha.

If there is absolutely nothing to be found in a certain page, please remember to be patient. This probably means that we haven't made any items yet, we shall post them as soon as they are made. WHAT'S WITH THIS "FACE ODDITY" THING? CAN I ENTER?

"Face Oddity" is a contest where people can send in pictures of a recent make-over they had done on either themselves or someone else. It must've been inspired by something other than David Bowie (unfortunately) and it would be preferred that the make-over is inspired by a subject that you know little about. ONLY THE FACE CAN BE MADE OVER. This contest doesn't start immediately, it's more of a work in progress, but we will inform you when it does start up. Anyone can enter this contest. When it starts up, that is. More details will come later.

I don't know how I could be this stupid, research is in progress. However stupid I may be, I still have an ounce of intelligence in me and I am willing to blow it all on this website. I do not put the second i in incompetence. Trust me.
