Overview

Designed in 1972 by Charlie Morgan, this boat sails like a dream. She was entirely re-fitted in 2001. Top deck, a new coat of non-skid in light gray was put on. A 2002 chain driven Edson Steering Wheel system was installed. The tiller system was left in place with tiller stored in the cockpit. All ports and forward hatch were replaced with 1/4" Lexan. Used Interlux paint for bottom. A year later she still needs no cleaning (pulled in Sept. 2002) Great bottom paint! Below deck, all cushions were recovered in marine grade maroon fabric. Sole was stripped to bare hull and new stringers, subfloor and teak & holly sole were installed. Sidewalls and bulkheads were painted cream color to match ceiling. Teak trim is handrubbed. New head and plumbing lines were put in. Pressure water at both galley and head sinks installed. Nav table equipped with VHF and GPS mounted in teak cabinet.
